LIVING TINY with MR. TINY - you've got to see this AMAZING use of space INSIDE & OUT

how's it going everybody this is mike mr tiny timmons i'm coming to you today with another episode of living tiny with mr tiny today i am filming episode 4 and today i'm showcasing the couches home that i've got here behind me it's a beautiful episode and i'm ready to showcase the ins and outs and how you can go big while still living tiny [Music] so [Music] episode 4 is a spectacular episode for the clients that are interested in the possibilities after delivery of your tiny home this one boasts characteristics on the exterior living concept as well as custom options on the interior follow me this way as i can showcase to you the couch's home as the additional landscaping that was put in after the home was delivered you have the black metal railing there for you with the six foot front porch and as well as you can see the extension here of the custom steps so this six foot front porch was extended we have the custom steps that come down solar lights as you take every step up your side steps as well and it comes right here to the custom carport this is an option that you can add after delivery where you have a space to store your vehicle that is outside of the elements this is an awesome option and not only does it store your vehicle but it can also store additional outdoor items you have that space right here but also they took it a step further and added the extended attic space so that is going to give additional storage up there when you need it so you can hop up there grab the things you need and then bring them down and go on about your way so as you can see this home has the concrete walkway along the side we chose to go with the lapped siding here on the bottom half of the house as well as the board and bat pattern on the top windows galore on the outside which is going to bring in the natural light that is something that is like to feature for a lot of clients they want to bring in that natural light and make the 399 square foot features feel even larger then as you come on around you can see here gutters have been added after delivery those are features for you that you're going to want to add to the home also the solar lights and rocks go all the way around the landscaping and as you come on around you'll see here additional items like the solar bird bath you're going to get on the outside so the birds when they want to come clean up where else they want to do it at right here at the couches home why wouldn't you want to enjoy this peace and serenity right here in 399 square foot of living and as you come on around you'll see not only is it lovely from the front side but we can also bring the party out back you know how they tell you business in the front party in the back the couches have taken that to literal terms right here as you can see you have the custom fire pit that beautifully complements the wrap around landscaping and then as you come on back that is not it they continue to have the landscaping going as it comes on around and goes to the rear of their property that they are currently continuously building and putting back here so you have that white little bridge right there that complements the white exterior trim of the home all this additional landscaping there this is where you want to go if you want to have a cup of coffee read a book get away from the elements right here is where you can do it at and have that peace and serenity that you're looking for in 399 square foot of living as you follow me this way let's go right over here to the party area the bonfire and as you see we have the four seats but what's so great about it is when you get your tiny you can add custom features like this if just in case you forgot whose house it was they're letting you know all the way around this thing and i would be so proud of this home so i would put my name all over it too and then right here you have additional solar lighting we have the additional side porch that was added here so keep in mind they had the six foot front porch that came with the home this is all custom after delivery so you have all this here this is going to be additional seating when you need it to be but when you don't storage so you have that area there so not only do you have seating there you have seating for six here at your outdoor table beautiful umbrella here to keep you shaded when you need on a hot day like today in texas and then right here we've got another seating space for you with additional storage and then even another built-in so as you can see the more the merrier right here at the couch home so this is a great great place to come out and relax and as you come up the additional custom steps that were added to extend the six foot front porch you'll see they've got space for the grill here great items that you'll see as far as the shades that were added after delivery and then as you come on around additional seating up front we have the transom window up above the sliding glass door here so you're going to bring in all that natural light and then as you come on around you'll see that this sliding glass door is actually tinted this is something that they've done because they had a lot of windows in the home so they chose to add the polarized tint right here to the front door so that gives you additional shade as well so follow me inside and you thought the outside was something you ain't seen nothing yet so right here at episode four i'm bringing it to you first right here in the couches home look over here when you come in this is what you want to come home to this is built-in led fireplace that puts off heat additional cabinetry down below additional storage space for you and this is what was offered with the home this is what you can do as a client you can add in custom features they had custom built-in cabinets surrounding their flat screen tv oh my goodness tell me right here this is living at its finest so you have all this built-in area and then even up above that of top of the custom cabinet you have another transom window that's bringing in that natural light for you and then right here center you have the tray ceiling in the home and these are 11 foot sidewalls from front to back of this home so this is making it feel larger than life in 399 square feet what's so awesome is that they instead of going with the traditional couch or anything like that they put two recliners in here and i think it's lovely because these are by let me add this they're very comfortable recliners but besides that it offers so much additional space that you can add built-in or cabinets like you've done as you can see right here in the middle great place to place your coasters your remotes things like that but this item over here is going to be the built-in cabinet that mr couch likes to call his office this is his office space when he's working from home getting his work done here this is his office chair this is where he keeps his laptop his books for everything he needs to work on he's got that right there and then right up above it uh we've got the windows right here four windows with four transoms up above what i love was the touch right here adding the curtains beautifully laid out here so that way it has some decor some aesthetic concept here on the interior but also offering the shade when you need it again like i told you the couches chose to add polarized tint to the windows so that also helps with the already great energy efficient tiny home by going 399 square feet but it also adds that little extra and they've also loved that as well so you can see that as you come on around what i love about this floor plan and the couches home is the extended countertop space this is a rare feature in a tiny home so you can see right here you have additional seating for your stools and this is a great prep area because miss couch loves to cook and word on the street is she can throw down in the kitchen and then right up above that we have two pendant lights right here that way hanging down looks aesthetically pleasing but when you do not want to prep right here or when you're done prepping i should say the meal is done bring it right over here a dining space in a tiny home i'm telling you the couches have gone a long way in this tiny home by utilizing every inch of this space so you can see you've got the drop leaf table here they've added a custom pendant light up a bug so that is a great feature and then right over here this is a rarity in a tiny home as well they're hitting all the marks in a tiny home for rare items this is a built-in hutch so not only do you have the additional storage down below you have the additional storage up top and makes great for your coffee bar everything like that the beautiful backsplash going from the countertop all the way up to the bottom of the cabinets looks lovely so all of this counter space fun fact miss couch loves to cook that is one of her favorite things to do so when she went tiny that was the number one on her bucket list and one of the one of her favorite things that she loves about this tiny is all the countertop space she gets to still cook like she's living in a traditional home and not having to sacrifice much while downsizing and you can see the beautiful white farm sink here with the two basins we have the window up above with another transom window up above that so we're bringing in all that natural light for you here and what's so cool is we've got the stainless steel appliances smooth top oven the air fryer hey i heard she throws down on that air fryer the ribs make you smack your mama they because they taste so good fall off the bone i'm telling you right here that's how she's throwing down in the kitchen and when she's not using the air fryer she's using items like this right here we have the custom built-in pan and pot space so you can see right here this additional piece of wood was added after delivery put additional brackets and hooks and makes for a great pot rack here so it looks lovely for decor when she's not using them but when she is hey pull them off and you get she can get right to work and whip it up for so right here as you come on back we have the pocket door that leads into the bathroom and as you can see right here one of the great features about this floor plan is the dual vanities so you can see that's another rarity oh my gosh dual vanities in a 399 square foot tiny home that is rare and then up above the toilet you've got additional linen space right here and then another option here you have the 60 inch step in half wall splash glass shower so this is awesome tiled from you gets oh my goodness it looks lovely we have the rain shower head there we have the led light crown molding going throughout the home this is awesome i love this bathroom and so do the couches so as you follow me right this way you'll see as we go on back right here in the center section we're going to have the stackable wash machine and dryer so this is lovely because they still have additional space for storage up above before you lead past these second pocket door here which leads into the main bedroom and as you come in whoo this is where it's at you can see right here a queen sized bed in a tiny home bedroom so we got this right here another cool story is this painting right here was gifted from mr couch to miss couch on their first anniversary 30 years later this painting still following them every year of the way from each house that they went to into their final home that they have here in their tiny so this painting means a lot of value and meaning to them and it's a great story to tell but it's lovely because how the colors were featured and complements this bedroom set so you can see right here with this queen bed we have additional nightstands on each side the long transom up top and this is great even with these sidewalls being so high it opens this face up i'm telling you it's lovely and then the custom lighting was done on each side of the bed as well right above the nightstand so that was added after delivery also so i'm telling you guys there's so many options you can do and i'm telling you speaking of options we're not done yet this the couches house remember they're going big while living tiny so of course you've got the double closet here you have the four drawer dresser but keep in mind they went big in the living room tv area felt like i was at the movies in there with that thing that they've got sitting in there looking so large but what's so great they knew with that great area in the living area to watch tv they didn't need a tv in the bedroom so what they do this is the cabinetry that was provided with the home what they've done after delivery is had custom cabinetry put in up above this is something done after the fact on their own and it looks great it looks like you know a great cabinet space for storage what is this door remember mr couch's office up front when he's got to print the documents they come right off here so he's got that hidden away there so this is going to be his printer space additional storage up above and of course we finish out the top of our closets just like we do the top of our cabinets so that gives you additional storage space so that works great for the clothes that you're not using at the time of the year that you need to put them up so say if you got your winter clothes up there summer clothes down bottom works perfect and you do not have to sacrifice anything so follow me back through and you can see right here i'm telling you the couch is home is one of one they have went above and beyond with the features that they're offering in this home and as you follow me through i mean these are items that can't be it's gonna be hard to duplicate this they they put their personal touches on it and made it lovely and i mean just look at this this is awesome this is amazing this is what i'm doing these episodes for so you can see that these are some of the items that you can add after delivery put your mind to it think of it if you can see it in your mind you can hold it in your hand and that means you can put it in your tiny home so i'm telling you guys this episode with the couches home is one for the book so this is episode four of living tiny with mr tiny so i i'm greatly happy and greatly appreciative that they've allowed me to showcase their home so thank you couches it was very very i'm very very appreciative and you were very welcoming to showcase the home to me and i thank you for letting me do this and also this home if you're interested in one like this this home is 11 foot wide it's 41 feet in length including the six foot front porch this is not counting the additional side space for the living area that they've added the additional custom steps that they've added this is not counting the carport this is for the home itself is 11 feet wide about 41 feet in length including the six foot front porch and to give you an idea if you were to purchase something like this today for the home before the custom upgrades you would start around 85k
