do he proved it on the cross and time and time again jesus saves the bible tells us call in your day of trouble call on the name of the lord and you will be saved whoa there's no god like jehovah and for me in the season whether it's marked improvement or total instant healing there is no god like jehovah i'll take it i'll take it because he's good do you know that he is greater than covet do you know that he's greater than cancer do you know that he's greater than heart disease or even unexplained things that happen you know my friend andrew sitting over here today uh it wasn't too long ago that his wife called me on the phone and said pastor the left side of his body has gone numb he cannot move look at him standing right there look at him standing right there [Music] there's no god like jehovah listen we had no explanation for what was happening in the natural but in the supernatural we began to contend and pray and he's standing here today worshiping god two weeks ago in this very room we prayed for claire [Music] marked improvement by the lord over and over again he proves himself good he proves himself real i want you to hear this awesome testimony by jody hughes and i want to believe god for something radical today for miracles signs and wonders beyond belief come on there's no god like jehovah hey there's no god like jehovah well i want to tell you just last night ben and i we do a broadcast online for god tv that's important to know for this story and we've been doing that for ages and we often see people healed well we always see people healed and saved online so get ready online family right now for what i'm about to say but recently we started broadcasting that on youtube not just facebook that's important to know because it meant that my dad in australia could watch it last night for the first time since we've begun now my dad has been fighting cancer and it's it's not it's not been going well and last night for the first time he was able to jump on our broadcast right now and uh listen i got a message from him this morning that while we were praying and releasing healing and specifically speaking to tumors and telling them to shrink that he messaged me this morning and said that a sizeable tumor a sizable lump that he could feel and see has almost completely gone amen come on come on there's no god like jehovah there's no god like jehovah hey i need to add this because in recent weeks one of my family members and niece also messaged us i'm gonna release this is that okay um one of my nieces in recent weeks messaged me and said other than my dad no one in my family is following jesus we're here in america and been praying right she messaged us and said that she now identifies as christian come on i want to tell you something and release this i've just got this word in my heart that the fields of our family are coming into fruitfulness and the enemy's been trying to tell us that they're dead they're dead fields and they're not i hear the holy spirit saying no they've only been fallow and in biblical language a fallow ground just simply means it's been left to become more fertile and in this season our family is coming into harvest amen come on if you've got family right now if you're watching online because this works online the glory is not affected by distance you ready for this if you need healing if you need to come say yes to jesus if you have family members come on if you're family members you're believing for salvation let's all join our faith together right now and let's release arrows and if you're in of jesus wow amazing how god is blessing his family this morning that is such a good testimony and i love what you just released but i also want to tell you this in faith if you're standing in this matter whether it's heartbreak whether it's a physical ailment whether it's financial whatever it is wherever the need in your life is would you raise your hand and those of you that are standing around them begin to lay hands on them right now and begin to release the presence of god over the life the promises of god of their life begin to call it out right now ask for what it is it's a sickness is it disease is it is it is it a financial miracle whatever it is an online family i'm going to pray with you right now in the name of the lord jesus christ that his promises over your life are yes and amen that all you need to do is look to heaven and call on the name of the lord and he will touch your life he will bless your life in fact i see god moving over you right now in such a my friend michael jackson for a few weeks now his father has been in the hospital and contending for his life on a ventilator believing for a radical miracle your family praying and along the way we've seen marked improvement but today we want to pray for that complete turnaround and you're just standing in the gap right now but we're going to pray for you because you're our family and we believe that god is bringing healings to families and you're our family you're my family and so we want to pray right now we can we are as a church can believe for covet to end right now we as a church can believe listen we can believe for those that are that are sick that don't have covid that are other issues like gigi who's recovering from heart issues and others many many others who who have been receiving or need your prayers in this moment in this hour we can do that together but i'm focused right now on my friend leo not because his is more important than anyone else or no one else matters other than him i'm trying to say that with all the love in my pastor heart as i can my friend is in a coma in the hospital one of our pastors fighting for his life that is not okay we are not going to stand for that we're going to stand on the promise of god that his promises are yes and amen that we will lay hands on the sick and they will recover and that there is no god like jehovah so we're going to pray for your dad we're in fact we're going to intercede right now for your dad i know your mom is watching but we're going to intercede for your dad right now and we're going to the assignment of kovid right here and right now over your father's life you good all right so you're gonna pray with me i'm gonna let you pray first and then you're gonna pray with me and church i need you to intercede right now everybody interceding everybody praying in the spirit right now online family join us because we're believing for you too father god we thank you we come together in this presence father god we thank you we come together in this presence you say that when two or more people gather i think there's more than two people here gathering together and when you say when two or because there's no god like jehovah there's no one like you god and in our time of trouble father we know that we can call you on your name god and it is you who saves and father in the name of jesus we live we bring every sick person including leo before you now father we put them on the altar right now god and we say begin to move and do the thing that only you can do god where there is a wall now stands away in the name of jesus and we decree leo shishmanian and shiloh fellowship you are healed in jesus name you are walking in your best days in jesus name whoa wow is your face stirred up yeah good patricia is there anything on your heart okay there's no god like jehovah she said it's official so good to be amongst family listen hug somebody right now and decree the goodness of god on them [Music] wow thank you jesus thank you jesus you know what else i love and where now that we're in this spirit and then this flow is that the testimony of jesus christ will be preached that it's preached into the nations and that it goes far and wide and uh and even though there's traveling bands right now that that there's those that god is giving favor to and sending them out into places that need to hear about the goodness of god you know why we're standing in this room today and praising him because somebody told us about the goodness of god and we received it and we want everyone to receive that blessing and that mercy and that goodness of god and today we have a couple of friends who are actually traveling in to the middle east to go take the gospel of jesus christ and we want to honor them today we want to pray for them and we want to speak a blessing over them because even though they are ministers in their own writing god has raised up a ministry in them the art family derek and veronica ott are going into a place where god where there's there's a lot of chaos there's a lot of things going on but god will show himself good because there is no god like jehovah so derek and veronica would you please come on up as we want to call in the ministers and lay hands on you in fact i want you to be able to just tell us what's going on and uh you know anything that you can share with us and then we want to pray for you and bless you and send you out because you are our family and we want to bless you in jesus name and you look good today by the way well good morning everybody the shiloh family awesome to be with you in the house uh so the quick summary is we're traveling we'll leave next tuesday we're going with an apostolic team led by joseph matera and apostle rafal najim he's a from the east coast but he's lebanese born and i'm sure that many of you have seen the news of what's taking place it's very chaotic very dangerous there's all kinds of just basic needs so we're going to be having a packed trip the first thing on the agenda is when we get picked up from the airport the lord has given us favor we'll be escorted by the national security uh throughout the entirety of our trip so we're going in as an apostolic team that's already recognized by the government which is pretty awesome the favor of the lord amen i believe i believe the reason for that is because we're going in as as a apostolic team and not just missionaries per se but our purpose is to bring the kingdom and so the first uh order of the day will be we're gathering all the pastors virtually in the whole country uh at least in all the mainline churches there's going to be an apostolic conference where we're basically going to wash the feet of all the pastors that are on the front lines all the prophets all the people in the churches because these guys are digging in they're feeding people daily so that's going to be i believe a two-day conference that sounds about right that's going to be followed by a full-on evangelism power crusade outdoors uh so we're agreeing and we covet your prayers for god to show up in miracles signs and wonders after that we're going to hit the border we're going to go to the syrian border we're going to visit the orphanages we're going to minister to them and then finally we're going to be going door to door each each member of the team has raised their own funds to actually bring food and basics so there are care packages that we are bringing that have baby formula i mean they have you know just all the basic stuff that we take for granted here so that's what's going on so we we don't know if there's going to be power the whole time when we get there we don't know if there's going to be wi-fi we're just going by faith and we know the lord's going to be with us veronica's been asked to do all the photography for the trip so that's a huge thing and so she's she's got a beautiful eye and i've been asked to be in charge of all the prophetic teams that are going to be ministering so i'll be overseeing that so we love you all we covet your prayers and we thank you for uh for your help wow that's so amazing and we're so grateful for you but we're so glad that the lord is sending you in and into lebanon and to do those things and so why don't we uh pray for them in fact i'm going to call patricia up and ben and jody's uh if you could come and help us pray for them too and let's just speak a blessing over them right now and um and pastor desiree would you come up as well and patricia anything that you want to say or speak i want you to go first as our apostle in this house uh with a blessing and then and then we're just going to pray a blessing it's such an hour that we get our eyes onto the nations like lebanon for example is shut down it's a nation that's been shut down and the people are suffering but so many of us who are comfortable don't even you know we aren't in touch with that and so it's time for us to really intercede for the nations and we're so glad that you're going and being a light in there and serving the people and of course in our web church um one of our leaders in the web church lives in lebanon tony francis and i know that you're watching tony and i know you must be almost weeping right now to know what god is doing for your nation and so um father we just thank you for your love ambassadors that are being sent forth that as derek and veronica go forth as your love ambassadors lord the oil of your anointing will flow from them and through them to meet every need that they see and lord god even at times when their heart is overwhelmed when they hear the stories when they see the situations that are there that you would give them grace and that you would give them faith and there would be open gates for the king of glory to come into that nation and lord that lebanon will be able to arise that every leader there is going to be strengthened and fortified and empowered lord the lebanon will fulfill its destiny and be kept safe lord in these hours lord where there's there's like uh enemy agendas surrounding them and so lord we thank you that you're sending in your troops your love troops your faith troops your truth troops lord god and there will be an establishment of your kingdom so we bless them as they go out we bless them as they go out and we bless them as they enter into lebanon we bless them in their journey we bless them in everything that they put their hand to do that there will be such a fulfillment such a fulfillment of your purposes through them lord god in this trip in jesus name and you know we hear oftentimes you know this this this phrase um let your heart break with the things that break his heart but i literally see you weeping over the land and reaping over the people that your heart is so touched with god's love it's breaking with god's god's longings and i see a new level of intercession being released through you and we pray favor for you on the team too i pray favor for you with uh dr matera and and others that that that you would be favored that you could be released into the fullness of what god's called you to do and be in jesus name [Music] as soon as uh pastor francisco called you guys up um the lord reminded me of the macedonian call and uh and that's in acts 16 and it's actually in philippi right and this is the part that i really felt the lord was speaking about and this is paul and silas in jail and i'm not saying you guys are going to jail so we just flush that in jesus name all right but it says this it says but at midnight paul and silas were praying and singing hymns to god and the prisoners were listening to them suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed the keeper of the prison awakening from sleep he wanted to kill himself because he thought that all gone right and then in verse 29 it says then he called for a light ran in and fell down trembling before paul and silas and he brought them out and he said sirs what must i do to be saved so god we thank you lord for the macedonian call on these guys and the whole team to go to lebanon at this time and god we just decreed that there would be a shaking god that the prison doors would be open and open lord that they would even ask they would even ask what must i do to be saved surely there is no god like jehovah thank you jesus come on wow thank you jesus we celebrate with you we're so grateful for the call of god in your life and we are grateful we are excited to hear the testimonies that are coming when you get back we want the testimonies of what god is doing in the you're going to do you know i want you to know that that includes your finances that that that the the total aspect or blessing or or makeup of who you are is going to be blessed in every area of your life uh let me just say this i'm so excited for how god is going to bless you that i can't even put it into words let's just that's where i'm at right now i just i i just know this you know this week i was uh i was uh you know we had a family funeral to go to and there's a there's a lot of expenses when those things come up and you know i wasn't really planning for that necessarily but don't you know that god always looks out for my needs and you know i was uh i honored the lord my god with my gifts and my offerings because i trust him and even though in the natural it didn't make sense uh the finances i'm talking about didn't make sense you know he still blessed me lavishly and uh i totally received something in the mail that i had i was totally not even expecting didn't even wasn't even aware of and he gave me a you know like thousands of dollars something i wasn't even expecting and you know my heart was so blessed when i saw that not because i thought i deserve it in some way or because i consider myself so special or so blessed because i'm a minister of the word of god but simply because i had an opportunity to trust god and he showed his love back to me that my family would be able to go and take care of what they needed to take care of because we were in mourning that we were able to go and take care of that he loved us so much so that he was in total care of every one of our needs that money not only got us there helped us to bless those around us and got us back but even over an abundance from that allowed us to also give into other people's lives god is just that good and you know when i think about the abundance of god and his and his goodness i i totally believe that that he can cover our needs but what i was blessed with in the moment was that the lord heard my prayers and he blessed me don't you love it when the lord talks back i believe the lord wants to talk back to you in this season that for the areas of your life where you have trusted him even including in your finances he's going to talk back to you in blessings in signs and wonders and my decree today as i as i sow in our decree today as a church is that we absolutely trust him because there is no god like jehovah just ask the holy spirit right now what he would want you to give and believe believe him there's different ways you can sew here at shiloh we want to do this together as a family to believe god [Music] what an honor it is to bring gifts to him for his goodness here's what's on my heart i'm not going to give to god today because of what he did for me last week i'm going to give to god today because i love him because there's no god like jehovah because he's amazing in every way and he cares about me so much so listen i don't even care about the money the point is is that when i called he answered that's the point when i called he answered and he can do it however he wants to do it i'm not limited to just cash he can do it however he wants to do it i want it and i decree his goodness on my life and on your life in jesus name let's give to the king let's give with a grateful heart let's give with a generous heart let's give with a joyful heart the lord has we want to know in jesus name thank you thank you pastor francisco i as you were standing up here i saw something from from the lord and he showed me that there was a number of years ago when you were in a particular place in him where there was real pain in the offering but because of your love for him with tears you release to him i i don't know when exactly that was or what it was but i do know this at that point something turned and it was like a promise was given to you and a realm was given to you of sustained provision and he will always provide always always always and i just want to encourage all of you is that if you're in you know a a place where you're contending for a promise to come through and it's just a hard place and you know god's will but you're not seeing it manifest in front of you you just stay strong in that because there's there's in that point of pain when you're pressing in where the enemy is coming against every part of your faith in you but you just choose to believe god anyways you choose to praise him that in that there's usually a breakthrough a breaker moment that actually establishes a realm for you not just a moment not just a miracle an actual realm in the spirit and in that realm you you walk in that for the rest of your life once a realm is established it's established for life goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life once you establish it so if you're ever in a place where you're discouraged and and you know you feel your faith draining out of you you're overwhelmed just keep pressing in and standing and if you can't do it on your own gather some people around you to pray with you and for you because once we gain that victory you gain the territory it's like in the natural when nations are at war with each other there's a contending back and forth and so when you press in as a nation to stand your ground to push in as you continue to move forward no matter what no matter what is coming against you you keep your focus on the wind when you do win that whole territory becomes yours it's yours you have new territory mark there and so um i just want to encourage you how many of you needed that word was in worship the lord gave me a word for you and it's about the calling of god on your life and there is a very very clear call of god on your life you will be called to the nations you are you are going to have a heart especially for the needy the underprivileged i see a heart swelling with compassion and the compassion of the lord is going to drive you it's actually going to compel you to go to the nations and to help the underprivileged and your heart actually when you see even um even maybe would be in school people that are being picked on or people that are of a minority sort of thing your heart's going to gravitate toward them you're going to want to support them and love them and and make sure that they're they know that they're loved and that they are protected and i also see such a spirit of faith and of course for for those of you that don't know it titus is a miracle um he uh received a miracle of healing for leukemia when he was young and and that leukemia is now out of your body forever in jesus name but but what is in you is a spirit of faith and i see miracles flowing through you and you're going to have words of knowledge and prophetic insights on things very profound prophetic even when you're having dreams and that sometimes god's going to speak to you that way but definitely in the future there's going to be a very powerful faith operating in you for healing in jesus name i just bless you amen amen i think a lot of our children are going to be raised up and called to the nations and so be in prayer for your grandchildren and your children okay well um i'm on a part two message i started this message a couple of weeks ago living good in the midst of bad and i know that a lot of times all of us will go through times in our life that are just tough right and you know where everything's coming against you and it's like all you can see um is is is the mess in front of you it all looks overwhelming all of us have points in our life where we face face issues like that um praise the lord is not all the time but we all can be aware of it and of course even in nations there are times we were talking about lebanon earlier and how lebanon right now is facing some very critical things the whole nation has been shut down there's so much turmoil in the middle east i mean it's it's not a pleasant time for them and so how do we posture ourself in such a time as this how do you posture yourself when everything around you is is coming up short or coming against you or everything looks bleak everything looks dark it doesn't look like there's hope you know it looks like everything's getting worse instead of better when you pray how many of you have had those kind of prayer times when you're praying and praying with all your heart and all of a sudden the situation worsens instead it gets better that's just because it's not over yet just because it's not finished yet okay so we need to as believers and especially here in shiloh we want to give you the tools to live good when everything might be contrary around you because you can always live good in the lord every moment in him can be so good and so the last time and i'll just do a really quick run through here the last time i covered a few uh positions for us to take as we are getting ready to know the goodness of the lord um in the midst of challenging times and the first one was to put all your trust in the lord to put your trust in him and it said in ii chronicles 20 20 be in the amplified believe and trust in the lord your god and you will be established or made secure i love that so we're not to lean on our own understanding not to lean on the arm of flesh and then the second point was to believe god only believe and we gave you the example of jairus and he had got a bad report you know his servant came and said your daughter is dead and so he was stuck with that news that's not a good news but it just wasn't over yet because jesus spoke to him because he had saw what he saw what was going on and he said do not be afraid any longer only believe and trust in me and have faith in my ability to do this and she will be made well so he received a promise in the midst of everything looking bad he receives a promise of absolute victory and it included what was seemingly impossible she was already dead but he said no she's going to be okay that does not make sense to the natural mind but he said so you've got a choice now jairus you can you can believe what the servant told you you can believe the circumstances or you can believe my promise you can believe my promise some of you um you know we were praying for households earlier but some of you have been heartbroken i can feel it concerning your children that you have raised in the lord but they aren't walking with him right now they're going contrary ways your heart's been broken you've been praying you know it looks like it's getting worse by the day but you've got a promise you've got a promise that god is going to to bring your children believe on the lord jesus christ and you shall be saved you and your house you've received the promise and the lord says only believe only believe not ninety percent belief and ten percent unbelief only believe and we have to discipline ourselves in those times in those times when when you know your body's feeling bad and everything's looking gloomy around you you have to choose the promise of god and it's a deliberate thing it doesn't come naturally sometimes you have to to push against your own soul to choose to stand on the promise of god so believe his his promises and only believe and the third point was to keep watch over your heart you don't want to let in the midst of bad times you don't want to let negativity enter in or bitterness or offense and you have to be extremely careful during those times not to act impulsively a lot of times people and i've seen it over the years especially in the area where there's been a failure financially and so maybe someone will have lost everything and all of a sudden they impulsively try to get it back and they just keep going down down down and and get sucked in so you have to be careful over your heart that it stays close to god in times like that so that you um only hear from him and only walk in in his direction the fourth one was praise and prayer and we use the example of paul and silas as they were in prison and they they were they were beaten up they were shackled i mean it was not in the natural it was just not a good day but you couldn't have told them that they were just praying and praising god and then god intervened god intervened in the natural there was no hope for them they were already sentenced they were already thrown in there everyone had made up their mind about paul and silas they were going to be out of the picture but god wasn't over god wasn't finished with them yet and so you want to keep your joy on in the midst of it and then number five was look for god's goodness in each day look for his goodness in each day and in psalm 23 verse 6 it says surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and if you've never had that word given to you in the lord before i'm giving it to you now this is your word just take that word it is a promise so therefore even on the in in a day when the worst situation is before you you can look for the goodness of the lord and he will show up with goodness in that day and you will be able when you go to bed that night you will be able to count your blessings name them one by one and that is actually a really good discipline is when you're falling asleep review your day and all the good things god has done and just bless him for it bless him and praise him for all the good things he's done when you wake up in the morning you know look for his goodness say god this day is going to be filled with goodness for me because the power of expectation is is is really really uh significant when you are wanting to see breakthrough in your life you have to expect it when you want to see turnarounds you have to expect it now the thing is when everything's coming against you it attacks your expectations so therefore you have to stir your expectation because if you expect bad things to happen guess what now everyone has has problems okay everyone jesus said it's one of his promises you know if you want to stand on the promises of god there's one in the world you'll have trouble right in the world you'll have trouble but what be of good cheer because i've overcome the world so so you can't just keep expecting i've known people that will say to me even say you know this this always happens to me and it just happened again i knew it was going to happen to me and i thought well that's why it happened because you had an expectation for it but you can change your expectation and it takes some discipline you have to push out of your mind everything that would expect something contrary and choose to expect what god wants to do and as you train yourself in that it it it releases a place in the spirit for god to bring blessing i love psalm 23 verse 4 and 5 it says yea though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death and there's two words there that the lord really highlighted in this last month to me and it was the word through and shadow it says you walk through through you don't get stuck in the middle of the valley if you're in a situation right now you're not stuck in it you're going to work all the way through you're going to go all the way through yeah though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death it's not even death it's just a shadow of it it's not what it feels like it's not what it looks like and we've had a lot of practice this last month in our prayer time to believe for this we're not accepting you know the the uh death that the enemy wants to to to bring to health to to vision to people's dreams we're not accepting that you know if there's a shadow of death that's only his fear tactics but we're walking through this season into a place of absolute victory it says i will fear no evil for you are with me your rod and your staff they comfort me and you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies and that's what what we are um excited about and and um and looking to receive right we'll laugh at our enemies as we just you know enjoy all the goodness of god okay let's take a look at number six just you know different postures that will help you this one is to collect treasures look to collect treasures in isaiah 45 3 it says i will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden wealth of secret places now i actually received this as a personal word from the lord when i was on the mission field many years ago about 30 years ago i was on the mission field and we were going through hell it was on every side and it was and it just felt so hopeless and the lord gave me this word he said you know you are going through like like a cave right now you're going through a dark tunnel but he said if you will open your eyes you will see that there's treasures on the walls of this tunnel and he said if you're going to go through it anyways you might as well grab the treasures while you're in it and then i saw the end of the vision i had this basket and it was full of treasure and i'd come through the tunnel and i believe that's a word for some of you right now is that there are treasures for you to glean right now there is wisdom i i got so many insights from the lord during that season i had so much revelation given to me as to god himself but also his ways and it was like there was healing in my life there was things he pointed out in my own heart that i needed healing and deliverance for that i was able to get i mean it was nothing but good at the end it was awesome i was elated with treasures that i never had when i went through that difficult time in the beginning of it it was just like it just kept getting worse and worse and darker and darker and darker and i think whoa and then the lord gave me this word he said come on there's treasures look for them don't look at all the stuff that's going on right now all the hard things that you're facing look for the treasures look for the treasures grab hold of them identify them and so when i did come out oh my goodness you know i i i just had so much and so we need to be willing to change when when we're in a challenging time be willing to change and even look for new ways of doing things and new wineskins you know when when coveted hit many churches were devastated it was a dark hour for many churches because they couldn't meet they couldn't gather they didn't know what to do because the way that they had done church was was was in captivity but then so many of them discovered media and they also discovered that they could reach more people through media than they even had been reaching in their on-site churches and they started to explore all the benefits of reaching people through media that they never even considered before in fact some ministers i know that were actually against it before coveted they were against media church and now they're immersed in it because because the hard time because of the dark moment god introduced them to something that was even better than before and so now they get both they get together and they get the other benefit but they never would have known that benefit if there hadn't been coveted now kovid was not authored by the lord i don't believe that the thief comes to steal to kill and to destroy jesus came to give us life and to give it to us in abundance but god will work everything together for good he will turn it around and so there are treasures to find inside and also sometimes when you're in a very challenging time and it looks dark and and and bleak one of the treasures that you might find is a course correction maybe there's been a certain way that you've been thinking or a certain way that you've been doing things that god was even maybe trying to get your attention before but now that you're in a tough place a hard place he can get through and show you hey there's a different way to walk where you can experience victory where you can experience my goodness in a new way and so look for look for new wineskins new ways course corrections and and also embrace the discipline of the lord you know when we when we use the word discipline many of us don't like it because it it speaks of a restraint or um you know pain sometimes it says in hebrews that that discipline for the moment is not pleasant okay um because it catches our attention but it it changes us you know if you've seen children um who are acting unruly and they are not disciplined or brought back into rightful place whatever a parent's way is to discipline them that's between them and god but if you see them not disciplined at all those children are not going to have a course correction they're just going to keep on growing in their rebellion and their disobedience they have to be discipled back onto the right track okay and so often times in the hard places god will use it to actually bring us onto a right track and if so we are to embrace the discipline of the lord i love the discipline of the lord i love it when he adjusts my attitudes and brings conviction to my heart and and and shows me a new way and it's never pleasant you know who likes to be you know confronted on something that you're doing wrong that's never pleasant but it's really good amen so we should embrace it the next one is to cultivate positive associations positive associations in hebrews 10 24 and 25 it says and let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works not forsaking the assembly of ourself together as is the manner of some but exhorting one another that means to call each other to higher endeavors and so much the more as you see the day approaching and so if you are living in a season in your life where everything around you is negative like you know if you turn on the news right now there's just a lot of conflict out there so if you just live in that if you were to sit in front of a news station all day long listening to all the conflict it is it is going to affect you and if you are hanging out with people who are negative and critical and fearful and depressed it's going to get on you now we need to love everyone we need to love everyone but when you see someone who's negative and oppressed like that you want to minister to them you don't want to let that get on you okay and it can very easily if you're not watchful so it's really important to choose associations who are full of faith who will keep you on track um all of us can have times where we you know get negative and you know we're getting overwhelmed by the circumstance but if you've got positive people around you they'll keep you back on track they'll cheer you up they'll even maybe call you to account on that and that's so good you know so look for a real positive input and you know if you sit around and i'll just use this as one one example if you are on google all day long looking at conspiracy theories your life is not going to be pleasant honestly you know you'll start writing the theories yourself okay so just just kind of you know dial that down and find real positive faith-filled people and influences amen even had to you know when he was raising jairus daughter from the dead when he went there they mocked him they they mocked the idea of him going in and doing anything that would help her so he sent them all out of the room because they weren't of faith he only kept those who were of faith in that room with him and there's sometimes when we have to love people and say i'm sorry you're just not you know i love you but you're not invited in here right now i just need to really really give myself to people of faith and people who will believe with me okay the next one is walking in greater love when when we're seeing all the conflict around us it is time to lay hold of the greater love ask god what can i do to bring forth your love in this situation because perfect love casts out fear so in an environment where there's lots of fear what will help you know the people around you or the community you live in or the nation that you live in would be to look for ways that you can love well and manifest the love of god and it cheers people up as soon as you hear about people loving loving it just cheers people up and it changes the atmosphere because love is that powerful and also faith works through what love so love has to be one of our greatest aim during times that are hard and if you look for areas where you can sow love it will bring victory into your own life if you look for ways that you can love in the midst of hardship just like this morning as we were praying for derek and veronica they're going into an atmosphere that is that is very very challenging but they're going in with love right so that love is going to bring hope to the people it's going to change the atmosphere it's it is going to empower a nation because they chose to love and the people going with them chose to love and it says in matthew 5 43-48 jesus said you have heard that it was sad you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy but i say to you love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you so even when you know you might be in a situation and maybe your conflict is regarding people who aren't treating you well maybe they're being cruel to you maybe they're you know speaking against you slandering you maybe you know being unfair to you in business decisions but the scripture says you are to love your enemies love them what does that mean to love your enemy well each situation is going to be different you need to ask the lord what does love look like if i'm to love this person well what does that look like and let him speak to you and it says that if you do that you will prove yourselves to be sons of your father who is in heaven for he causes his son to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous so he just releases the rain and whether you're good or evil you're going to experience it right you know because you're just under the cloud so um he says it's it's it's your love walk that's going to distinguish you for if you love those who love you what reward do you have even the tax collectors do they not do the same and if you greet only your brothers and sisters what more are you doing than others even the gentiles do they not do the same therefore you shall be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect now i know that right now there's a lot of you know people people in the church believers have different convictions opinions thoughts on government leaders in the nation and of course decisions that are being made and so many of the decisions that are being made are contrary to our biblical beliefs and so of course there can be a reaction to that but i was watching sean floyd over the weekend and he's out there in d.c and leading the whole group in prayer for government leaders and praying for them in a way that showed and demonstrated so much love isn't that beautiful that's what the world needs to see and it wasn't just belligerent you know attitudes of prayer you know coming against this and against that it was like lord bless them with the wisdom they need bless them with you know all that they need to to serve the nation it was just beautiful and it's just an example of how we can manifest the love of god in the midst of real challenging times the ninth posture is to keep your vision for the future alive you know if you're stuck in looking how bad things are right now remember this bad bad runs a course it has a beginning and it hasn't end i've watched it over the years it just you know even look at the great depression are we still in it right now no it started and it ended the first world war it started it ended the second world war it started it ended there is beginnings and the end so be happy in the midst of it but also keep your vision alive for the future because without vision people perish proverbs 29 18 so partner with god for vision for your future because it's it's good and it's glorious your future is built on the promises of the lord and then finally look for eternal rewards we want to live with eternity in our perspective everything that we do we do with eternity in mind because the moment that you give your life to jesus christ you are an eternal being and you have eternal life and the eternal rewards are really worth going for in this short time that we're in the earth so every time you exercise faith in the midst of a challenge every time you exercise love in the midst of a challenge every time you make a sacrifice in the midst of a challenging day and hour you are actually creating reward in the eternal perspective which goes on forever and ever and ever unending so a little bit of discomfort a little bit of challenge a little bit of pressure now will create for you a reward in the eternal dimension that you can't even imagine or think and when you keep your eye on that prize it changes the way you live it'll change your decision when you think eternal perspective and so i just want to encourage you to always keep eternity in your heart and especially when things are are painful um i'll just read one scripture and then we'll we'll pray revelation 2 9 and 10 out of the passion translation it says i'm aware of all the painful difficulties you have passed through and your financial hardships even though in fact you possess rich treasure and i am fully aware of the slander that has come against you do not yield to fear in the face of the suffering to come but be aware of this the devil is about to have some of you thrown into prison to test your faith for 10 days you will have distress but remain faithful to the day you die and i will give you the victor's crown now this was a specific word and it doesn't get much heavier than this right you know they were suffering financial hardships some of them were going to be thrown in prison i mean it was that's tough but he said even in that keep your perspective no matter how hard it gets keep your perspective in matthew 5 10-12 it also talks about the blessing that you receive you know when when there's uh people and things that come against your faith in those hours keep an eternal perspective someone's rejection of you now is only for a moment and a lot of times they'll turn around anyways and join your club right i remember when i was nursing i was a brand new christian so i was a nurse and i was very bold there was three of us that got born again spirit filled at the same time and we were just crazy when when i look back right now i i think i probably could have used a little bit more wisdom but i was just so excited about it we all were we were literally raising the dead and everything in the hospital and um and it wasn't appreciated people came against our faith all three of us got it we got hauled before the director of nursing many times and you know um my friend um grabbed a stillborn baby in the delivery room after the doctor had declared it without life grabbed the baby and said you will live and not die and declare the glory of the lord and the life came back into it yeah that's what the mother thought too but the director of nursing thought otherwise she was halt before them for discipline because she disobeyed the doctor's um decree you know crazy right does that make any sense at all not to us it doesn't right and so you have to you know just just know that you know even even those that would come against like that director of nursing there's other nurses on the floor there's orderlies i mean they were mocking us like you wouldn't believe but then in their hour of need guess who they call they all ended up getting saved all the ones that came against us got saved so don't even be moved by how obnoxious people are towards you it's usually only for a moment just keep smiling it's hard for them to take but it's really a great way to live anyways i i want to pray for all of you because i know that many of you even in our own flock here are going through some challenging times and we know that we're living in a challenging season as far as where our nation is right now the nations of the world there's lots going on but we're in this bubble of god's goodness we truly are and we always will be we will always be in him and if you are inside of him just imagine yourself being inside of him how safe can you be how good can it get amen and so everything will work out it will all work together for good and i want to assure you of that and as a congregation we're going to just keep our eyes on the prize we're going going to keep in the faith and proclaim the goodness of god so father in the name of jesus i just pray for all my friends lord for for this house and all who are watching um on the webcast lord god i pray for every one of us lord that we would be so kept in you that we would live good good good good we would live good in the midst of bad things happening around us and lord that we would be able to spread that goodness to others that we would share that goodness lord for those that are are struggling inside the bad and that we would be ambassadors of your goodness we would be ambassadors of your love of your word of your truth and of your promise and so we thank you lord for shiloh nights being filled with grace to bring your goodness into this life into especially those who are struggling in jesus name and i want to just challenge you church to pray strategically in this hour for ways that you can really demonstrate the goodness of god one of the things i'm i'm trying to find some some information out is um the the refugees that are coming into our nation i i've heard a lot of christians complain about it actually they're saying oh it's terrible because you know the terrorists are coming in and they're sneaking in and that well if they do let's get them saved right i i can't imagine how terrified a terrorist would be i mean they're manifesting terror so they must be terrorized themselves right they must be terrified and i i would really like to to bring a refugee into my home and help them i i think maricopa's got room for for refugees right and it isn't the the bible clear about how we're to help the aliens and those that are in trouble and so that might be one area another area is there's so many kids in the foster care system that really need good homes and especially those that are aging out that can't even be in the system anymore where are they going they just go out on the street or whatever often times have no one to care for them or they go back into real bad family situations and there's so many ways these are just a couple of ways that we can think of to maybe reach out and to bring the goodness of the lord and the love of god and the light that we carry and fill fill the earth with it and look for ways that we can um really make a difference and i know that we need wisdom you need to be prayerful we need wisdom you definitely want to invest in people's lives where you know they're not going to abuse it but that they will really take hold of it well but would you pray about that just ways that you could reach out maybe it's even going to the food bank and helping out or or something but let's start activating the good life that we have to reach out to those that are less fortunate god bless amen such a good word that we received today how many of you know that that word is for me right i don't mean me as in you looking at me i mean us as in me as in us right i mean yeah pastor you do need that word so do you hey there's a lot of things happening here at shiloh um while we were sitting there just going to read something to you here really quick i love how god is moving i just received this from the lord as i was sitting there and i'm going to just spend some time with him but i just i've totally received a prophetic word from the lord while he's sitting there the enemy has been working overtime during this graveyard shift but god has brought a shift to the graveyard and normally i would save that for like sunday i mean when i preach but i'm sharing that i'm sharing that with you now i totally forgot it was sunday sorry i missed you all last week as i was not here but but i just believe that somebody needs to hear that today that there is you have been overcome uh by some things that the enemy has been trying to do in your life but god has brought a shift to the graveyard and you have jesus and what you know the grave was once full but now it's empty in jesus name listen to me god promised us resurrection life in every area of our life and we're gonna take it in jesus name so i think that'll be my message next sunday i preach at 9 00 a.m every sunday just in case you're wondering what time does the pastor of the church preach at 9 00 a.m on sunday and it's it's a glorious time of the morning but anyways uh here's here's what i want to tell you is there's so many things that are happening at shiloh we want you to be a part of it make sure you grab that bulletin like tonight for example the victoria soul how just i just want to see you know where derek and veronica are going you are going to see so many miracles from god in that place it's going to be absolutely exciting what's uh what's what what what uh um my friends here in the front row robin milly sorry what rob and millie are doing right now in town on tuesday nights they're going to see radical miracles in the city of phoenix god is moving on their life right where ben and jody are being used of god everywhere they're going along with their daughters they're going to be used to god they're going to see things but you know what so are you so are you where you stand and where you're planted god is going to use you in radical ways and when patricia tells you get involved it's how you spread the light get involved right don't just watch the world around you get involved we know what is god doing if you're worried that god isn't showing up at the food bank then go show up at the food bank and bring god with you you know like this is this is what we need to do and so i'm not telling you this out of pressure out of condemnation or for you to have like i'm not doing enough no i'm doing it because it is your god-given destiny and right it is what has been given to you by god to go and do go and do it be a light unto all the world as it says in the bible right so amen that's enough you guys want to preach the message i mean the anointing is flowing we can have revival right now ben if you want i mean we just thank you jesus you know when you're hungry you'll ask for it right when you're hungry you'll ask for it and i'm not trying to run you you know ragged or anything i'm just letting you know that god is here god is here and so uh thank you jesus what do you guys want to do i'll leave it up to you what do you guys want to do you know we're safe here there's just times when you got to risk it a little bit how about we just intercede a little bit for a few seconds here and ask god to invade right come on let's just ask him ask god to invade in your space yeah if you have to go go it's okay no problem no problem at all we're not we're not forcing anyone to stay we just want to invite you right now thank you jesus thank you jesus let's just push for 60 seconds thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus we're not dividing the room it's not those that are hungry or less hungry do it no we're fighting for each other ben has a really good message on that we're not fighting against each other we're fighting for each other thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus wow thank you jesus i'm believing that as you go now you're going to have amazing encounters in fact i just i felt like i just heard that from the lord be expecting of the encounters uh with the world around you be expectant of it and be and get ready to spread the light of jesus to all the world in jesus mighty name and as you go remember this and god loves you with an everlasting love he really really does see you again next week god bless you goodbye church you
