Life in Denmark

[Music] i've lived here since 2008 and when i see and talk to newcomers and talented individuals from all around the world who come to denmark for their career i see people who are surprised by the quality of life they find here there is a great balance between work life social life and family life i'm princess mari and this is some of denmark [Music] in denmark people respect not only the fact that they've got to produce a result in the office and in their job but they've also got to have a result in the private life in their family life i really like working here because it lets me have a great career and gives me the flexibility to also be a good dad [Music] i think denmark does a really nice job of taking care of newly arrived internationals and i would say especially newly arrived accompanying spouses i think it's unique that there's a focus on the particular situation that we're in and the challenges we might face in terms of making friends finding activities getting to know our new towns and finding a job [Music] i find life with kids in denmark very nice and very easy it's a very safe country it's very family orientated we can cycle everywhere it feels healthy here you've got like natural food for the kids very organic food i think here in denmark it's so easy with kids i wouldn't swap it for anywhere else [Music] you can basically find a club for i think anything here in denmark for me it's really what fuels the engine i get to learn a lot of things you get to meet a lot of people and then it makes the place feel a little bit more like home what jumped out at me about denmark when i moved as a young professional is that i was not expected to slave it's not expected that you work an eight to eight job that is not what this country is about they're about having a work-life balance and the meaning i'm ken cordes and this is my denmark i'm kate thule and this is my dead mom hi i'm stephanie hi i'm fabrizio and this is [Music] and this is my denmark i'm aditya nagarajan and this is my denmark [Music] you
