so today i'm going to be sharing my new obsession with behringer pedals stay tuned [Music] [Applause] to the guitar manifesto channel hope you're doing well so a little while ago i sort of stumbled across behringer pedals i've heard about them before never really took much notice of them i'm a big fan of boss pedals for all my sort of playing days uh for the last 20 odd years i always tended to use boss pedals i tried many others over the years and i always sort of come back to boss pedals they are solid reliable good sounding pedals and so i watched a few videos jhs pedals especially um and it sort of converted me so behringer pedals are basically clones of famous pedals mostly boss pedals electro harmonics that kind of thing one of you viewers i can't remember it was point me in the direction of a full behringer clone list so we'll quickly go through that then i'll show you the behringer pedals i've got my pedalboard at the minute and i'll give you a little run through of the ones i've got and how awesome they sound so this is tone starts website ultimate behringer guitar pedal clone list i'll put a link in the description below for this website page so it just gives you a little bit of info about the company it started in 1989 a german-based company that manufactures products in china owned by music group which is chaired by mr behringer himself so have you ever wondered what these pedals are emulating so this is the chart as you can see is quite comprehensive so basically on the left you've got the model number of the barringer pedal the name of the behringer pedal and on the right you've got a list of the pedals that's all cloning so you've got quite a comprehensive list there some very interesting pedals the blues overdrive is basically a boss bd2 blues driver uh all sorts of things got the bass chorus space flanger dimension c got ibanez compressor limiter the boss c5 chorus ensemble chord sustainer mxr dyna compressor which is a dc 9 dynamic compressor which i've got one of them and i'll show you a little demo that later on that's a very awesome pedal we've got the boss ds1 distortion which is the behringer distortion modeler dynamic wire pedals you got the tech 21 sans amp gt2 which is the behringer v-tone guitar driver boss mega distortion boss heavy metal pedal um it's got the boss noise suppressor even got line six pedals in there the mxr evh 90 phaser the eddie van halen version that's the ph9 behringer phaser we've got the ibanez ts9 tube screamer which is the to 100 behringer tube overdrive we've got the chromatic tuner i've got the tu300 which is basically the boss tu2 chromatic tuner super chorus boss turbo distortion which is the i've got the ultra distortion ud 300 these are discontinued but you can still find these used octaver pedals just the boss octave super phaser you got the bus tremolo i've got the ut100 which sounds very cool even got the deluxe memory man i won't mind getting hold of this one the behringer vm1 vintage time machine there's a few tube um pedals that behringer do what am i trying the vd1 vintage distortion which is basically the the big muff i'm trying to get hold of a an electro harmonix big mouth so i may try and get the behringer one and compare the two i did compare the boss ds2 against the ud 300 and it my must admit was very very close again jhs pedals made a video talking about uh the clones and did a few comparisons a really good video i put a link to that video in the description below and in there in the corner but some definitely some awesome pedals there so if you're on a bit of a budget you can't afford the boss pedals there are cheaper alternatives and they are very good quality as well i know a lot of people don't like the plastic casing the behringer pedals but they do sound good and from my experience they're pretty sturdy so this is my current pedal board setup uh efferently is connected along the bottom row including a little behringer compressor pedal on the right there f along the top is disconnected for now so as you can see i've got all the behringer pedals up and running apart from that vintage delay the vd400 that's a boss dm free clone i'm not a big fan of the dm3 pedal i much prefer the dd-3 which is like the digital delay which is a clone that one the dd-400 behringer awesome pedal so from the right i've got the diner compressor pedal which is basically a clone of the mxr dyna compressor awesome pedal very simple two controls and we've got the chromatic tuner which is a clone of the tu two we've got the ultra distortion ud 300 which is a clone of the boss ds2 i've got a vintage tube overdrive t-o-800 which is a clone of the ibanez ts-808 behringer uc 200 which is a clone of the boss ch1 again the dd400 it's a clone of the dd3 boss ut-100 ultra tremolo which is a clone of the boss tr2 but these are all very awesome sounding pedals so i've got all these set up to my preferred settings so i'll give you a little run through of each one and just give you an idea of what they sound like so the first pedal on my board is the behringer dc-9 compressor pedal which is basically the mxr m102 dynacomp compressor pedals what they essentially are if you strum lightly or strum heavy you've got the you know low and a loud tone but a compressor evens it all out so if you strum too lightly or too heavy you know playing for a song it just gives you a nice even tone so the next up is the tu300 which is a clone of the boss tu23 sort of thing just a chromatic tuner use it for guitar um bass you can use it for alternate tuning as well great little pedal when you engage it it mutes your guitar so it's handy for that as well i used to use that a lot in live shows just use the tuna pedals and mute so when you tune in people in the audience don't have to hear your tuning as well so next up we've got the behringer ud 300 which is basically a clone of the boss ds2 one of my favorite pedals i've done a comparison of this before so check that out and we'll just give it a little run through my preferred settings so next on my board i've got the behringer vintage tube overdrive to 800 which is basically the ibanez ts 808 vintage tube screamer awesome pedal very expensive to buy so this is a nice cheap alternative so let's uh try this baby out [Music] so next on my board we've got the ultra chorus behringer uc 200 which is a clone of the boss ch1 superchorus one of my favorite cause pedals so now we've got the behringer digital delay dd400 which is a clone of the boss dd3 digital delay awesome pedal so that's one of my favorite boss delay pedals just a nice easy to use pedal plenty of settings on it so you can tweak you know your tone your levels this sort of thing so let's try it out [Applause] so [Music] so so the last pedal i've got my board is the behringer ultra tremolo ut100 which is a clone of the classic boss tr2 tremolo pedal so so that was a little run for of my behringer pedals they're awesome pedals great clones of the boss pedals if you can't quite afford the price tag of boss pedals you've always got the behringer cheaper alternative or if you're buying the used market you can pick them up for a sort of as little as 15 pound which is no money at all so yeah be sure to check them pedals out so again in the description i'll put a link to the the clone list page and also a link to jhs pedals video on behringer pedals which is very informative and it showed you a good direct comparison i've done a couple of comparison videos with the ds2 against the behringer alternative and the ch1 chorus against the uc 200 ultra cores so be sure to check them videos out again i'll put all the links in the description below so i hope you found today's video informative if you enjoyed today's video please give it a thumbs up subscribe to the channel hit the notification bell you can also follow me on instagram the guitar manifesto that'll do
