Let's Talk About: Dreams - Snakes

one of the things that I discovered over the years and learning how to interpret dreams is that symbols are that's that's the really the issue that we're trying to get after is how to interpret this symbol versus this symbol and as I was looking at all the dreams that you guys is submitted I found a couple of themes and so first thing I want to say to you about the dreams is that there's some dreams that God is speaking to you that you may not get the interpretation for that dream for ten years or five years I mean I have dreams still in my journal that I've asked you know many people what the interpretation of that dream and I still don't have understanding of that dream I keep it in my journal I pray through it I go back through it and realize that maybe one day God will give me understanding of that dream as I seek Him as and as many times that this happened to me before is I I'd go back to my journal and I'm reading a dream and I'm thinking ah that's what it means that's what I'm going through that's what's happening in my life right now and I didn't get the dream five years ago when he gave it to me right but now I have understanding of it so please don't lose any sleep because you know I've seen some of your posts on there you're like please help me with this dream and and you have to understand that God knows your need and he knows where you're at and so just be a peace continue to go after him for the interpretation of the dream and so what I wanted to do was just go off a couple of tips there was a several dreams on there that had to do with snakes and so instead of me sitting here reading ten different snake dreams because that was the the large part of the the big symbol in the dream with the snake and so we have to understand what does a snake mean and why did God use that particular symbol in your dream what you want to do is is what we've been taught by John Paul and in the classes that you always want to refer to scripture first and if it's not in scripture then you want to look at the element you want to look at the characteristics you want to look at the functionality to know what that symbol is representing but for a snake what do we know that a snake is right but Genisys you know the snake was known as the deceiver and so you have to realize is that snakes have a long tail it's a deception and so there was several dreams one lady had a dream where there was a path she was walking on and underneath the path there was a lot of snakes underneath there another lady had a dream she was in her house and she had these snakes but we're in her house they were white and they had some blue on them and then she goes outside to her look out the window and she sees these white and blue snakes all around and so you have to ask that question what is that speaking about and so the dream is saying that that there's lies or there's deception around you for that one particular lady you know you talk about what's that saying walking on a bed of lies there's deception underneath the path of your feet and so with the other lady and the house is speaking about that there's deception and lies why is the snake white and why does it have blue in it what is that symbolic of well white represents could represent a religious spirit blue could represent depression right and so you have to the Lord is saying that there's lies around you that are trying to affect you if they haven't bitten you or come in contact with you means that that lie hasn't penetrated your body or who you are the poison of that lie hasn't been in you now there's dreams out there that where the lie has bitten the person on the leg or on the hand so it means that that that snake when it bites you it means that that lies already been injected into your body and you believe it it's affecting you the other thing you want to look at it interpreting dreams bitter snakes are involved is what kind of snake was it if it's a bold constrictor you know those big bold constrictors why was it a bold constrictor and not a rattlesnake or a Cobra because again God is saying something that the bull constrictor what does it do squeezes life out of you and so it says this lie wants to squeeze life out of you it's a bold constrictor so the Cobra what it does is that spits venom in your eyes and so that would say that there's a deceptive lie that's trying to affect what you see or affect your ability to see things in the spirit what could the lies be it could be allied that could be about who you are in Christ it could be a lie about many different things so you want to search the Lord and ask the Lord about that and I hope that helps you
