Let's Spray - Shisho Colorshift Pearl over RUSTOLEUM Ultra Matte Black

what's going on guys welcome back to the channel So today we're going to do another little experiment with our test Fender uh using some color shift pearls so let me go ahead and flip the camera all right so check this out I already have the test Fender sanded down and for this experiment we're going to begin by using some Rustoleum the ultra matte black and we're going to give U this Fender some coats of black and that's going to be our base coat after that we're going to use some of this this is the Shish show it's a color shift Pro and I'm going to use this Hol pack uh and this should be like a color shift between uh blue and purple something like that uh so we'll see what comes out but if um that isn't enough I'm going to go ahead and add some of this ghost Violet Pearl so this one works it works well with whites and with black uh base coats if if it's in a white uh base coat it'll stay white and it'll give you just the Pearl effect the Violet if it's black it should only uh turn it well I mean it gives it a nice beautiful pearl effect but it it mostly turns it into the violet color uh and since we're going to be spraying the shisho um we're going to spray some of this on top of it and see what effect it gives us with both combined uh so I'm going to add these pearls inside our clear coat this is the bezney clear coat it's a urethane High solids and I'll leave the links in the description for that one as well so let's go ahead and begin by spraying our base coat okay so I got this Pearl and this is from I candy pigments and the name is shisho so this is a color shift Pearl and um I got this as a sample set so here are other colors as well uh that comes in the samples uh zen garden Gad doll uh Harajuku girl and there's many names that I probably can't pronounce but uh most of these are like color shift pearls and uh if you guys are new here to the channel consider subscribing sushi roll hey we got this one uh so just uh consider subscribing to the channel I'll be experimenting with more of these color shift pearls Ultra shift pearls and uh ghost pearls I've got this Violet that we're going to try today as well and not only Violet I also have a blue green Reds Golds and ghost pearls and uh we've tried the glow-in-the darks but um like I said just uh hit that like button and subscribe to the channel if you want to see more of this so uh let's go ahead and uh get to mixing some clear coat and add some of this pearls now that I have the clear coat mixed up I'm going to go ahead and add the sample pack of shisho look at that so this is just the Shish Show color shift Pearl and I haven't added any ghost Violet to it so let's go ahead and um spray it all right guys and as always I'm using the Spectrum this is the HTE the high transfer efficiency that has the 1.3 tip and I'm using 28 PSI with about 2 and 1/2 turns of fluid uh so this one is from Harbor Freight dogs okay wow this is barely the first coat oops and yeah we can see some color shift right here gold to a nice beautiful purple and see this side back to Gold so first coat here we don't have much lighting but um I'll turn on the flash y such beautiful cutter already here's the spray gun so just going to let this flash a little bit and then we'll hit it with another [Music] coat okay so right now I have the heat lamps on and I'm just letting it dry for a little bit but just want you guys to look at this that color shift right here I don't know what color it is but uh it kind of uh Fades off and then it comes into this deep purple then when you come off to this side come that color comes back again like this goldish color but a little bit more and you'll see that it turns green well it turns green let me see if I can get a Zoom yeah it still looks like a yellowish gold but in my eyes like I guess because it has a little bit of a a curve like a concave and then kind of the like the black pops up so it makes this little yellowish uh turn into a green but it looks green with a little bit of gold a little bit of Orange right there which turns into a purple very nice color so I'll go ahead and turn off the turn off the lights we have a nice Deep Purple right there you see so we kind of do get like a little bit of green in natural lighting like right here and and about right here it kind of turns dark but very very nice color uh let me go ahead and pull this out a little bit closer to the you know to the door of the garage or whatever look cheese who careful careful with the fender ah I haven't seen that one in a while she ran off I guess but uh all right so so beautiful color once again and right now when I was carrying it from this side I was seeing the green over it now you see zoom in a little bit so we have a little bit of green at certain angles but um there's the color boom offender just giving you guys some uh nice shots before I throw some uh gold Violet on it just to see what happens so this is the sh Show over black and uh very nice so let's go ahead and uh mix a little bit of the ghost Pearl and some clear and spray it over and see what happens okay so I went ahead and mixed up a little bit more clear I Ed the same cup there still a little bit of effect of the shisho but uh now I'm going to go ahead and add some ghost Violet so again this is from I candy pigments and I'll leave the links to where you can find these pearls so on this one I'm just going to use one teaspoon just mix it up so this is a perfect Pearl H for either white or black if you spray it over white you'll keep your white Fender but it'll give that um that Violet effect if you spray it over black or dark base it'll kind of turn it into a violet color but let's find out with this Fender so this is only one teaspoon of ghost Violet and it's 5 O of clear coat and as always a new filter and check this out every every cup that I use is uh is a different color mixing stick always a new new mixing stick always a new [Music] filter [Music] [Music] all right guys so I'm done spraying the ghost Violet over the sh Show uh before I show you guys the results I want to take a quick second to thank you guys for uh watching my guys my thanks and you know for all your suggestions color combinations and for your continued support so let me go ahead and just flip the camera and let's look at this vender all right guys so here it is um so again base coat was black Ultra matte by rum rattle can and then we sprayed the shishou which is the color shift and over that the ghost Violet so for the ghost Violet um I'm not going to say we can immediately tell what happened because you know it's Violet and we sprayed it over over another type of purple so I think it just reinforced The Color Purple since like I said if you spray the ghost over a black base it'll give you the color violet uh and since we already had like U either black and a purple together so I kind I think it just reinforced the color uh we still have the color shift and it is such a beautiful color shift so last time we tried a color shift was the sushi roll and that one turned from a green to a blue blue green and this one is the purple to kind of like a goldish and green at some angles so still a very very beautiful color and I think with the G Violet I think um like I said maybe just uh reinforce the purple just a little bit more but the extra clear coat that we added just you know nice nice gloss that we have and the clear coat is the bezney uh so again it's it's in the comments I mean in the description so you guys can check it out and there's the color let me go ahead and just turn off these lights and check it out again very very nice color and I'll turn on the flash on the camera boom look at that what do you guys think so far one of the best so I like it I think it's very beautiful color purple is one of my favorite colors and this is such a beautiful one so I kind of do wish that I could you know spray my car and you know something like this look at that overall very very beautiful all right guys so let me know what you guys think in the comments um I think it's very beautiful I think I think it's just perfect you know like I said the ghost Violet I don't know if we can immediately tell but the color itself it's just very beautiful uh unfortunately it's just a test Fender but it's always good to spray it on a test Fender and see what the results is going to come out instead of you know going through all the expense and getting your car ready and start spraying and you like you just come out with something that maybe you didn't plan on you know maybe you didn't like or something maybe you get a reaction I don't know just it's always good to test uh test Fender test panel any place just to you know experiment with the color first and that's what I'm trying to do for you guys uh you know I get your recommendations like your suggestions what colors to try over what colors uh maybe you guys are thinking about it and uh I try to execute them here on this Fender and if it works out you know you guys have the idea visually of what it's going to look like uh and if it doesn't work out I mean you
