this game work this game works really crazy this time because just about any slot in a pack could have a card of value seriously I might get a demonic tutor which is like 20 20 $25 in the common slot it's nuts so I'm gonna have to actually go through every card in a pack most of the value is still gonna be at the end of the pack but I gotta check I'll speed it up a little bit I'm only gonna show the value if it's at $2 or above or it's one of the last three cards in the pack which is where the value typically is gonna tend to be to be able to you know go out and buy another one I'm so excited let's just get to it i pre-ordered this booster box for $109 at my local games store and that's gonna be the starting price after that in order to buy another box I gotta sell enough cards from within remember and buy the singles that you need for the decks that you want to play and never to crack booster boxes hoping to get good value and I still say that in fact in case you hadn't noticed looking at those prices since day one boy oh boy now more than ever if there's that one or two or even half dozen cards that you have had your eye on from this set they're at an all-time low and I don't know will they be at this slow again maybe so maybe not but seems a good time to buy the singles that you want especially if you buy them from your local game store but with this set you know what especially if you can get a good deal on a sealed booster box I can see picking one up maybe wait until you have the opportunity to draft it with friends I know that right now that may not be so easy but things aren't easy for our local game stores either be in contact with yours many across the world are in dire straits and they are offering services such as the ability for you to purchase a booster box some singles have them left for you and picked up on the doorstep some type of drop-off local drop-off on your doorstep all kinds of things if they've got a Facebook page if they've got any type a discord server any type of social media talk to them see how they're doing if you are thinking of getting anything from singles to booster packs - even a full booster box now more than ever spending that money where you have spent time and you would like to spend time playing this great great game is very important I hope very much this video helps take your mind off things I plan to I had never bought a booster box before but decided to pick one of these up to help get a start on an EDH Cube I want to make. Pulled a Mana Crypt out of it! Not the average but oh-boy my heart dropped! I definitely would echo the Professor here to buy singles you want... but man these boxers are really good though!

I got one box to crack for fun as I was not looking for anything in particular. I kept a handful of cards like Kiki-Jiki but I intend to sell most of it just to get my money back. I probably kept 60 dollars worth of cards. I paid 100 +tax on release day.

Since this was recorded prior to the price spike, does anyone think these boxes are still worth it at 160? I wanna buy one but I can wait if people think the price will decrease

Without watching the video, I'm guessing he had to stop the game because he can't find any more boxes, not because he finally got to a box that was under what he paid for it. Assuming he paid around $110 for the box.

Ordered one box of these online for $135 CAD shipped before and then went to my LGS to play some board games with a buddy. I saw that at my LGS they were selling for $150 CAD and thought that was a bit expensive but eventually by the end by will power wore down and I bought one.

I pulled two goddamn Mana Crypts from the LGS box I bought along with a bunch of other good stuff. The box I ordered wasn't that good but still amazing value wise.

I ended up spending $317 CAD with tax and currently TCG Player values the cards I got from the boxes at $625 USD or $885 CAD which is a $568 dollar profit. Needless to say these boxes are insane and if I can find one after the reprint for between $130 and $150 CAD I will buy one instantly.

Also I guarantee you sealed box prices on these are going to go through the roof. It's going to be a lowish print run, the boxes are full of valuable cards, and they are incredibly fun to open.
