all right let's pray father in the name of jesus we thank you so much for the honor and privilege of being able to come boldly to your throne that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need god as we come we come in faith we come trusting and believing that both your grace and your mercy has been made available for us god your word is a lamp unto our feet it is a light unto our path your word is what enlightens our eyes and brings rejoicing back to our hearts and god as we get into the scripture today i pray that you will anoint these lips of clay to speak your word with power with revelation with understanding accuracy i pray that people's hearts will burn on the inside as you open up the scriptures concerning yourself make me like a fly on the wall let me speak today with specifics and details that transcend my human comprehension but speak specifically into the hearts and the lives of those that are here today and father i covenant with you in advance to give you when you will own all the glory honor and praise for all that happens and takes place in here today through the word of god by the spirit of god and we thank you for it in jesus name and if you're in agreement with that prayer today you can say amen amen you can be seated well listen we are continuing in the series that we have been in for quite some time uh entitled let's grow this is part 16. so listen we don't usually do series as long use most of the times our series about four weeks five weeks but i'm gonna tell you if you have been plugged in throughout these last several weeks i am confident of this one thing certainly the lord has said at least one thing to you over the last few weeks to help you grow in your relationship with christ amen and we talk about spiritual growth spiritual growth is simply the process of us becoming more and more like christ we begin the process of spiritual growth when we say jesus come into my heart and come into my life and save me today ezekiel chapter 36 tells us when that happens the lord takes out of us the heart of stone and he puts in us a heart of flesh so that he can write his laws and his ways upon our hearts we don't necessarily need for people to teach us everything because the same anointing which abides in us who is the holy spirit is going to teach us the things that we are supposed to know so the only time that you should ever have a hard heart in your life is before you came into the knowledge of the truth before you receive jesus christ as lord of your life after coming to christ there should not be another time in your life where your heart is hardened towards the things of god now spiritual growth should lead to spiritual maturity when you receive jesus christ as lord of your life you become known as a babe in christ but just because you started as a babe in christ didn't mean you should stay a babe i mean you are to grow in your relationship with the lord until you reach maturity no matter how long you've been living for god none of us ever get to a place where we have arrived spiritually there is always room for growth to think that you have reached your full spiritual maturity is basically like saying you can't become any more like christ than what you are right now and we did this over the last few weeks we we checked with our name i want you to turn to your neighbor on the side of you see if they're still there all right are they still there all right i want you to lift your hands now let's try to get rapture right now go ahead try go ahead see if the lord takes you go ahead oh there we go come on there we go look at your neighbor see if they still there well guess what if you are still present that means there's still room for you to grow in your walk with christ [Applause] now an increase in activity doesn't always lead to spiritual growth an increase in bible knowledge doesn't always lead to spiritual growth just because you are attending church more doesn't mean that you're growing spiritually just because you are volunteering now doesn't mean you're growing spiritually just because you've been volunteering for a long time doesn't mean that you're growing spiritually just because you're praying more doesn't mean that you're growing spiritually just because you're in your word more doesn't mean that you are growing spiritually folks ultimately spiritual growth is measured by the transformation that is evidenced throughout our lives as we become more and more like christ so if you are attending church more and then all of a sudden your old friends are like man i don't even recognize you now i don't know what's gotten into you but clearly something is different about you then that means you are growing from going to church more if you started volunteering and there were things that you used to struggle with before you volunteered but now that you become a servant of christ and you're serving god with your life and now you're starting to walk into victory in those areas of your life you're not growing because you're volunteering you're growing because you're transforming from volunteering amen and so folks the whole reason why we engage in spiritual activities is for transformation to take place on the inside of us i don't know about you but i ain't just trying to go to church for the sake of pleasing other people and try to prove to myself that i'm spiritual man i want god i want to know god in my life i want an encounter with jesus i want to know what it's like to have his hand upon my life to walk in his anointing the sense the leading of his spirit i engage in these activities because they help me grow in my relationship with christ anybody with me today [Applause] now you don't have to be perfect in order to grow spiritual growth is not about perfection it's about progression amen so don't look too long at where i am right now because a year from now i'm not going to be in the same place now you may say pastor moore well how long will it take for me to mature spiritually in the things of god and the answer to that question is that it's up to you you are where you are right now spiritually because it's the pace that you have chosen when if you don't like where you are you'll need to blame nobody else you'll need to look at your neighbor you'll need to look at the people that you live with you are where you are spiritually because you have said this is what i want out of my relationship with god see nothing can stop you from growing in christ the moment that you receive him as lord spiritual growth is a choice spiritual growth is a discipline spiritual growth is a process spiritual growth requires intentionality i have never met anybody who said you know what man i was driving to work the other day and then all of a sudden my prayer life went to the next level i wasn't even praying i wasn't reading any books on prayer i wasn't studying on prayer i was just driving down the street and then all of a sudden i went from not knowing how to pray to all of a sudden knowing how to pray and travail in the spirit now folks that doesn't happen i've never met a christian that grew accidentally in their walk with the lord amen if you're growing you're growing because you have you understand that i've got to be intentional if i don't want my life spiritually to be in the same place next year that it's in right now now on today i want to talk about faithfulness and the role that it plays in spiritual growth and in spiritual maturity now in the new testament you know the bible tells us in romans chapter 8 that if the spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of god and if children then heirs of god and joint heirs with jesus christ amen that's exciting that's good but when i read the new testament it's also understood when i read and when i study that i'm not just a child of god an heir of god and a joint heir with christ but i am also called and you are also called to be a faithful servant and to be a faithful steward over what god places in your hands now i want to i'll give you some i want to share with you the way in which the word faithful and faithfulness is used throughout the scripture so these are not just definitions but when you look at the word faithful when you look at the word faithfulness throughout the bible this is this is kind of what it's speaking to and what it's speaking of and so faithfulness means to be trustworthy it means to be dependable to be loyal to be stable it's one who keeps his plighted faith in other words we talk about faithfulness or to be faithful it's someone who who keeps their oath keeps their promise who keeps their pledge i take it a step further a person who keeps their word it's when they're faithful if you ever notice in scripture god said he exalts his word above his name do you know why he does that folks because if god doesn't keep his word his name isn't going to be any good faithful faithfulness is one that can be relied upon it means to be easily persuaded all right so i am faithful to my wife because i know she's mine amen nobody has to convince me nobody has to try to persuade me nobody's got to talk me into it i believe she's the one for me and because she's the one for me i am easily persuaded that being faithful just works on my behalf thank you for those three amens from the front there man if you're married and your spouse and say man you need to nudge them like you miss those good place to say amen number six faithfulness is one who trusts in god's promises and then lastly uh we talk about faithfulness it's it's uh when people show themselves faithful in the transactions of business the execution of commands or the fulfillment of official duties faithfulness helps us to complete our kingdom assignments faithfulness gives god time to finish what he's doing on the inside of our hearts when you are faithful you are not just present in a place you are also full of faith about why you're there and what you're there to do no matter what happens now when we talk about serving or service or servanthood particularly in church when people hear the word servant people think serving is volunteerism and you are not incorrect but you are incomplete serving folks is not just you helping out your local church that's not what jesus was talking about in matthew 20 when he had a discussion with his disciples about the greatest in the kingdom must first of all become a servant when he was teaching on servanthood he wasn't talking about ushering he wasn't talking about carking cars he was talking about a lifestyle that he wanted his servants to live and a mindset that he wanted us to adapt let's go over there to matthew chapter 20 and take a look at it matthew chapter 20 we're going to look at verses 26-28 it says not so shall it be among you but whoever wishes to be great among you you must be they whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant whoever desires to be first among you must be your slave just as the son of man came not to be waited on but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many the price paid to set them free now to talk about this contextually you know the disciples their mom one of the disciples mom two of the disciples mom had a special request and they said lord when you get into heaven i'm requesting that my one son will be seated on a throne on your left side and then my other son will be seated on the throne on your right side and jesus said to her you don't know what you're asking for and the other 10 disciples while they were sitting around the bible says they became indignant at the request i cannot believe you would ask such a thing as if the throne has not already been reserved for myself and jesus as he's listening and observing his disciples start to bicker about who's gonna sit on the left hand and who's gonna sit on the right hand he took the moment to teach them about what it meant to become great in the kingdom of god and what jesus tells us in the passage is that greatness in the kingdom is attainable but greatness in the kingdom is attained through service so if anybody wants to be great you don't become great in the kingdom without first of all adapting a servant's mentality so watch this i don't just serve at my church i serve in my marriage i don't just serve at church i serve at home when i minister to my kids see serving is supposed to be a mindset it's supposed to be a lifestyle i don't just serve when i show up at church i serve on the job i'm an employee for the company but i'm a servant for the kingdom and see when you get god's heart and his mind on serving you will see it for what it really is and that is your worship that's why when you look up the word worship in the new testament you'll see that one of the definitions of worship is servants when we worship we are serving when i go to work i'm worshiping i'm serving when i minister to my family i'm not just working i'm serving my family what is serving serving is anything and everything that we do from our hearts serving is the extra that we give above and beyond what is asked of us you get paid to do certain things on your job but you get rewarded with your inheritance from god when you go above and beyond what's asked of you see after you become a child of god by grace you must become a servant of god by choice i'll say that again after you become a child of god by grace you must become a servant of god and of others by choice see paul said in philippians 2 let this mind be in you which was also in christ jesus who thought it not robbery to be equal with god he he took upon himself the form of a servant what was so powerful about the life of jesus was the fact that he stripped himself of all his divine attributes put on a body to come down here and show us how it's done tempted in all ways yet what was was without sin and it explains to us how he was able to make it for three and a half years and not his heart be not become hardened by the disrespect and the dishonor that he was receiving from his own creation how did he make it while you know they tried to throw him off a cliff and and made all these accusations and called him a prince of the devils how did he make it through all of that and it was because when he was listening to what was being said he wasn't listening as the lord supreme in authority he was listening like a servant unto god first and a servant unto the people and when you have a heart to serve you know that sometimes you're gonna deal with some unruly customers you know sometimes you're gonna deal with people that are gonna give you a hard time just because they think they are more important than what they are but when you have a servant's mentality you don't immediately feel disrespected when somebody rubs you the wrong way because in the kingdom in order to be great you've got to see yourself as a servant praise god [Applause] and see there are a lot of people that have come into the kingdom but have never made this shift in their mentality as it relates to serving they're god's kid they got that but they live for god as if everything revolves around them so it's kind of like i'm god's child i ain't got to put up with this i ain't got to put up with you not like i got to put up with you telling me something i don't want to hear and see the reason why god tells us we are not just his children but he expects us to be faithful servants and stewards is because god didn't save you to make you a spiritual brat [Music] you're not the trust fund children of the kingdom [Applause] you are a child of god but you are to be a servant in how you carry out what christ has sent you in the earth to do see unfortunately there are a lot of people in the body that are i mean i hate to say it they're kind of like spiritual toddlers but it's only because they've never learned how to share their life they've never learned how to share their gifts how to share their resources how to put others before themselves this is all christianity 101 right here and see paul said when i was a child i felt like a child i spoke like a child i understood like a child but when i matured when i became a man i put away these childish things amen and i could be out i love my kids my kids ain't necessarily waking up every single day thinking mom dad what can i do for you today what you need i got you no they waking up like look this is what i need today all right you got a piece of paper and i'm you know that's how we come into the world we come into the world consumed with ourselves consumed with our own needs our babies aren't thinking about you needing you know what you get some rest tonight okay i'm not i'm not gonna wake you up tonight you've been breastfeeding the last last several weeks it's time for you to get some sleep it's not all about me man our babies never say anything like that and you know sometimes as christians we get to a place where we are only focused on us our needs the needs of our family the needs of our household and we are not thinking that man god didn't just save me so that i could focus on myself god saved me so that i can be a servant to him and i could be a servant to other people as well let's look here at first corinthians chapter 4 verses 1 and 2. it says so then you must perceive us paul said not as leaders of factions but as servants of the anointed one those who have been entrusted with god's mysteries the most important quality of one entrusted with such secrets is that they are faithful and trustworthy so in these verses paul is and and you'll see it later on the chapter he is speaking specifically about his apostleship and what had been entrusted to his care as a steward and paul tells us that he was a steward of the mysteries of god we see an example of that because paul nobody taught grace as much as paul did and he was a steward of the mystery of what grace was and that's why we know so much about grace because of how god used him in his stewardship and paul said listen don't see us as leaders of factions we would much rather be viewed as servants of christ instead of seeing us as apostles just see me as a servant and see the character of a faithful steward is when your life is centered in christ and what you have has been committed to him and submitted up under his leadership first timothy chapter 6 verse 7 it says isn't it true that our hands were empty when we came into the world and when we leave this world our hands will be empty again so just like you came in the world naked you leaving out naked when it's all said and done you can't even take the suit or the sharp outfit with you that they put you in when you're in your coffin when it's all said and done that tells us that between entry and exit everything we have belongs to somebody else so we own nothing but we steward everything that we have been given and paul said listen the most important quality to be found in a steward is that they are found faithful and trustworthy with what has been placed into their possession amen and this is why jesus said listen i don't have any desire to do what is pleasing to myself my own aim my own purpose but only the will and the pleasure of the father who has sent me and folks your life is not your own jesus understood that i don't have any desire to please myself god didn't call me to get married i'm not trying to pursue a marriage relationship you know this is kind of jesus mentality god didn't call me to start a family so i'm not going to try to start a family god didn't call me to be a great king upon the earth so i'm not going to try to become a great king upon the earth he had no desire to do what was pleasing to himself his own aim his own purpose but only the will and the pleasure of the father who had sent him and when we get this revelation that our lives are not our own then you will stop doing as you please and you will stop making independent decisions without his counsel i promise you you will live a blessed life i promise you you will live a more fulfilling life when you accept your role as a steward and stop trying to be the owner over your own life and resources and destiny go with me to matthew chapter 24. matthew chapter 24. we're going to start reading to verse 45 i'm going to read down through verse 51. it says who then is a faithful and wise servant whom his master made ruler over his household to give him food in due season he asked a question then he answers the question all right bless is that servant whom his master when he comes will find so doing assuredly i say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods but if that evil servant says in his heart my master is delaying his coming and begins to beat his fellow servants and eat and drink with the drunkards the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of and will cut him into and appoint his portion with the hypocrites there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth all right now so jesus said who are the servants that the master views as faithful and as wise and that get promoted in the kingdom when opportunity presents itself you look at this in the passion translation he said those that are serving with excellence when the master comes these are the ones that he considers wise considers faithful and these are the ones that get promoted are those that serve with excellence when the master comes now don't just limit this to the time when christ returns for his church you want to see this as those that serve with excellence when christ decides to check and see how well you are stewarding what he's placed in your hands we know from the story in matthew chapter 25 remember the servant that was given five talents the one that was given to and another one was given one and the bible says that he gave each of them their talents according to their individual ability and went off on a long journey and then eventually came back and settled accounts with each of them their faithfulness in how they steward what was given to them determine whether or not they received a greater reward so jesus was describing for us in matthew chapter 25 what the kingdom is like so this is the way the kingdom works god will entrust something to your stewardship and then he will give you time and give you space to see what you do with it and watch this your faithfulness over what is in your possession determines when jesus comes back to settle accounts with you whether or not you are ready to advance to the next step in your assignment so the question that i have for you is that will he find you number one serving with excellence and when i was preparing this i was just kind of thinking to myself you know some people are normally excellent you you know what i'm saying like you anybody know people who is kind of like i wouldn't necessarily define them as excellent they don't really pay attention to detail they they do not go above and beyond what is asked of you they leave a lot of stuff on the table unless you tell them specifically what they're supposed to do and how many all know somebody like that raise your hand all of you didn't raise your hand because you might be that person or you might be sitting next at an individual and if you're sitting next to that individual maybe you should just raise your eyebrows [Applause] and if you are not normally excellent you wouldn't consider yourself excellent people don't usually compliment you as being an excellent individual then that means folks you need to get some reps in in order to be ready because you can't just turn on excellence at any given time if you don't practice excellence in your everyday life will he find you in the specific places that he has sent you will he find you still doing the specific things that he has assigned to you you know when i think about the calling of god the call a calling is simply a divine invitation god invites us to get involved in the things that he wants us to be involved in that calling involves four p's it involves a specific group of people it involves a specific place for a specific purpose and you need god's providence in order to bring it to pass so when you fulfill the call of god you start to see who your people group is that god has anointed you to reach then secondly you start to realize that i can't just do this anywhere but i need to be in the place that god has assigned me people that think that they can just do your you and i can just listen the moment that i don't like something i just pack up and i leave to go to the next place people that think that way don't read their bibles because that's like saying jesus could have fulfilled his assignment here on earth anywhere he didn't have to just go to israel that's like saying abraham would have found a ram caught in the thicket by his horns upon any mountain that he chose to go to that's like saying isaac during the famine didn't have to stay in gerard like god told him he could have went to any place that looked good and he would have been taken care of that's like saying you know what i don't need to pay any attention to the fact that lot chose sodom and gomorrah because it looked like the garden of eden not necessarily knowing that god was going to destroy the city later on when i study scripture you cannot just uproot and plant your life anywhere you want and think that the soil has what it needs in order to give the seed of your life what is what it needs in order to grow and develop you need to be where you are supposed to be doing what you are supposed to do for the length of time that god has you assigned there until he releases you from that assignment [Applause] let me tell you what happens when people find themselves in places that they weren't divinely ordained to be in abraham went down into egypt because there was a famine while away in egypt he met a handmaid he met a slave woman named hagar hagar gave birth to a son by the name of ishmael everything going on between israel and palestine now can all be traced back to the fact that abraham was in a place he was never supposed to be in if you think that making the right decisions is not important everything that you and i deal with as it relates to sin can all be traced back to a couple in the garden in the very beginning who chose to eat of a tree that the lord told them they would not eat of they shouldn't eat thereof and if they did they would surely die and that one decision is what has passed down the sin nature from generation to generation through the fathers this is why jesus was born of a virgin and had no natural father because he had no natural father he could take the sins of all of us upon himself the only nature he has to pass on is the nature of god the father come on somebody don't ever underestimate the power of just one decision you may say well pastor you know i'm not really sure what specifically i'm supposed to be doing and where specifically i'm supposed to be doing it at you better find out you you you better get started with the quickness finding out what you're supposed to do because listen to me folks the will of god is not general the will of god is specific what are you called to do i'm i'm called to be a mom well listen to me if you got kids yeah you called to be a mom [Music] but as a mom what specifically are you supposed to do you think about it samson's mom was called to be a mom but she was given specific instruction about how to raise her child about sampson her son that he was supposed to be a nazarite as unto the lord that there were certain things their child was not supposed to be exposed to because of the calling of god that was upon his life mary was called to be a mom but clearly merely understood i'm not just giving birth to any unnatural son my son is supposed to be the savior of the world later on so clearly i need to raise him and train him in the things of god to ensure that he gets what he needs while he's a child so that he can fulfill his mission later on in life so yeah you're called to be a mom called to be a mom to do what and you might think it's general but it's not general it's specific now i know i use moms and as an example but it's no different with dads our job is to find out what are we supposed to do how are we supposed to raise and train them how does god want to use our family what is the calling upon our family if we take the time and we lay the groundwork then we'll set up the next generation and the generation after that so that they won't have to start from scratch when it's their turn well i just i just want to raise good kids is that your decision or is that god's decision so you're saying to me that god is cool with just your kids being good and not godly because the last time i checked the bible says the reason why he gives us children is so that we can raise and train up a godly seed i ain't getting no help here at the 11 o'clock sir can i get any love online am i preaching good in [Applause] here all of my ministry assignments prior to phoenix were less than two years singles ministry less than two years uh campus ministry a little over two right around two years youth ministry right at two years akron when i was co-pastor in akron ohio i was there for less than two years i grew with each assignment but they were all luke 16 assignments what do you mean by that pastor i had to be faithful over that which is another man's in order for god to give me that which was my own so every time i got reassigned i went not because i felt this booming voice telling me i was supposed to go but simply because i had been assigned to an individual in the earth and kind of like whatever they needed i was there to help them make that happen and so these were luke 16 assignments where i had to be faithful over that which was somebody else's and i'm gonna tell you the blessing in that you know the blessing and having to be faithful with that which belongs to somebody else is you do all of your development without your stuff [Applause] see if you gotta learn everything when it's yours then that means you're gonna make all the mistakes on your stuff but when you serve up under somebody else their experience covers you their revelation covers you and now you can learn under the tutelage of another individual and it shaved years off of your development now i moved here to phoenix in june of 2003 and to be honest with you when i moved here i i uh left a lot of my stuff in boxes because my mentality was all of my other assignments i was there for two years or less so phoenix isn't gonna be any different don't make any sense for me to unpack all my boxes just to have to go around and pack them all back up again so i left my boxes packed one day i'm in prayer in november of 2003 and the lord said to me that this is headquarters phoenix is headquarters now you learn how to follow god not only by what he does say but also about what he doesn't say and so when god's saying that it's headquarters that means that this is my main station this is the place where me and my family will be unless god tells us otherwise but in saying that this is headquarters god was also saying you're going to start here but you won't stay here i got assignments in other places but this will always be home at least for now unless you know the lord calls us to hawaii and uh and i just want to say lord that if we will be willing and obedient if you have called us to the beach for the rest of our days and you want us to suffer there in hawaii's [Applause] we drink virgin strawberry daiquiris and coconut shrimp every day of our lives honey did you feel the spirit on that one [Applause] wait a minute wait a minute that's not my will no man that's not his will that's my will now grow i've been here for 18 years so oftentimes when people think about how to grow they only think positionally if there is not room positionally for me to grow then i've done all the growing that i can do but growth is not just positional growth is also foundational there are times when god takes you back to your foundation to strengthen your core for the storms that are coming ahead there are other times that growth is influential where the lord will leave you in a place for a period of time and you may not go up in position but you expand in influence there are other times that growth is continual in other words you remain planted in a place for extended period of time you produce fruit one year but because your roots are still in the ground your fruit gets better the next year your roots still in the ground it gets better the next year root's still in the ground it gets better the next year because you're remaining in the same place you've got to understand you should never take lightly that when you uproot and replant in the areas of your commitment when you s when you replant you start again and you gotta go through the process of starting again there's a grace to do it if that's what god wants you to do but if you just up and moving because you don't like such and such his attitude and you don't like the way this is going and i'm tired of people acting like this here you don't move in the kingdom for those reasons thank you for those three men's which all came from the front row by the way i'm telling you this is the reason why people meet people they were never supposed to meet and i'm gonna tell you one wrong relationship can be detrimental in the lives of an individual i was sharing at my mom's service this past saturday you know my mom my mom and my mom my brother my stepdad man we lived a good life for many years both my parents worked both my mom and my stepdad worked worked at gender motors man and we lived a good life until my stepdad met one friend he met one friend and what would happen is each week a few times during the week we go over there they play cards they drink and this one friend introduced my stepfather to cocaine and he lost everything sometimes we're just in the wrong place at the wrong time and sometimes it's because we're the owners of our own lives instead of the stewards of our own lives my growth has come from staying faithful at headquarters i've been hurt here i've been offended here i've been betrayed here i've been burnt out here i've been misunderstood here but i've never left here [Applause] and i've grown spiritually through those painful moments because i never abandoned my place of grace jesus said in the passage in matthew 24 he said the evil servant in verse 48 says in his heart my master is delaying his coming now this evil servant might have had some commitment issues this evil servant might have had some work ethic issues maybe this evil servant wasn't always on time when he was supposed to be in a certain place but the main issue with this servant was what was going on in his heart he was an evil servant because he said i got time and because my master has delayed his coming the bible says he abused certain relationships and he also exercised poor stewardship in his lifestyle choices he was drunk with the drunkards because he said in his heart i got time [Music] and the question that i have for you today is there anything in your life that you would change if you knew jesus was coming back tomorrow and if the answer in your heart is yes then the only reason why you would keep it in your life is because you think you got time and what 2020 should have showed all of us is that tomorrow isn't promise to anybody and when it's your time you need to be ready for the coming of your master and when he finds you he should find you doing what you do with the spirit of excellence with everything that you have as if it's not yours but his i'm not out of content but i'm all out of time so we're going to close right there and man i trust i said what needed to be said so as we get ready to close out here today there may be some of you in here who you might say you know pastor moore i don't know if i can say that i've been doing what i know i'm supposed to be doing and i can't necessarily say that i'm still in the place that i'm supposed to be in i can honestly tell you that the places that i've been in that i've actually given a hundred percent in those places see so oftentimes we want the presence of god to show up somewhere that we aren't even fully present in and see if you want his presence you got to show up first and and i'm gonna tell you some people are still going through the motions because of what's happened over the last year and a half and god is like when are you gonna check back in when you coming back i'm not talking about just to a physical place i'm talking about when are you going to check back in in the kingdom would you lift your hands to the lord today maybe i mentioned something that you need to talk to god about maybe some of you know where you're supposed to be but you say pastor but i know i'm not there why don't you make a decision today that you will get back to the place that you're supposed to be in if you know what you're supposed to be doing but you said pastor moore i i'll be honest with you i know i'm not doing that while your hands are lifted maybe you can make a decision today to pick back up where you drop the mantle at maybe you say pastor moore i'm in the place that i'm supposed to be in but i'm really only giving about 50 percent maybe 30 percent today you've been challenged by the word and you say you know today i want to check back all the way in i want to go all the way in going forward i want you to talk to god wherever you are right now talk to him about the areas that you need to talk to him about if you're watching online i'm talking to you too while your hands are lifted right where you are talk to god now about whatever it is that you need to talk to them about some of you need to recommit to your headquarters some of you left a place early before you were supposed to leave and you talk to god about getting back to the places that you've been signed the places of grace that are fit for your the needs in your life and what you need in order to grow father i thank you for what you're doing in the hearts and the lives of people today i thank you lord for finishing this work god as we talked about over the last few weeks i pray that people are responding right now not just going through the motions not just lifting their hands because i told them to lift their hands not just repeating a few things because i encourage them to repeat them but putting their heart into what they're doing right now and recommitting we need the body of christ not out of joint but in its rightful places doing what it has been graced to do so god we say yes to what you ask of us we want to grow spirits and this is one of the ways that we grow it's by being in the places we're supposed to be in doing the things that we're supposed to be doing we give you praise and we give you glory for this in jesus name well every head is still bound every eye is still closed listen maybe you're in here and you say pastor mora i uh be honest with you i've never received jesus i've never asked him to be the lord of my life but i would love to receive him into my heart and into my life today secondly you may say pastor more i received the lord at one time but but i just been really doing my own thing and you know what today i want to recommit my life to him again i want my fire back i want my zeal back i want my passion for the things of god back but the first thing i've got to do is i've got to recommit my life to him today so if you don't know jesus or you need to recommit rededicate your life if either one of those invitations apply to you and you will allow me to pray with and for you do me a favor just lift your hand up a little higher in the air so i know what you and you won't pray in one of those areas and i'll be glad to pray with you and for you amen praise the lord glory to god i see you lots of hands lots of hands amen amen praise god all right well listen i'm gonna lead you in a prayer this is what i ask i can lead you in the prayer but i can't put your heart in it you can put your heart in it i ask that you put your heart in this prayer pray it from your heart and really mean it today and i believe god's gonna meet you right where you are pray this with me father in the name of jesus i believe that your son jesus christ died on the cross shed his blood for my sins i believe that jesus is no longer in the grave and he rose from the dead and he's alive forevermore jesus come into my heart come into my life and save me today i ask that you forgive me of my sins cleanse me from all unrighteousness thank you for saving me from myself i receive your love you are my father i am your child and i'll never be the same in jesus name god i pray for those who have prayed this prayer and i pray for those who are recommitting rededicating their lives god you told us that if we would confess our sins you're faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness so today as they confess their sin to you as they talk to you about the thing that they put first that they put before you i pray they kick it off the altar right now they strip it up its power and its influence right now they crown you king once again they make you the lord of their life and i thank you lord for cleaning them up restoring them i pray their fire comes back zeal comes back passion comes back revelation comes back that time that was lost will be restored in jesus name amen and amen would you do me a favor would you put your hands together for everybody that prayed with us today for whatever invitation was given amen well listen if you prayed with us there should be a qr code attached to one of the seat pockets in front of you or there's one up on the screen as well if you want to just fill out a physical card there's a connect card on one of the seat pockets there in front of you i always encourage people don't try to do this this christian thing all by yourself there are a few select people that i'm going to tell you were instrumental when i first came to christ in helping me to learn how to follow god and how to grow in my faith as a christian and so i encourage you to connect with us we love to be able to follow up with you help you take the next few steps you need to take in your walk with the lord if you need prayer for anything else when the service dismisses there will be a minister uh down front here in the sanctuary to pray with you and to pray for you also just as a way of saying thank you for your generosity we got a special treat for you all so so we have ice cream that we're going to be giving out to everybody at the end of service today you've been sweet to us what you're giving and we want to be sweet right back to you and being a blessing on to you so it's our way of saying thank you and taking a moment to celebrate this moment so i hope you receive it and and enjoy it and i pray that all the fat and calories that be stripped from it supernaturally in the name of jesus all right well listen if you're tuned in online i want to thank you so much for hanging out with us today have a fantastic week we will see you next sunday amen if you're here in the sanctuary
