Lenovo Legion Go - 8 Reasons Not To Buy it!

Lenovo legin go is wonderful device but it is not for everyone let me explain number one removable joysticks most likely they will break if you will throw your legion go in your bag as you can see joysticks on this device are very flimsy and I'm not even applying too much force holder mechanism made completely from plastic which is laughable for this price this part is made from metal but what's the point if metal can break a plastic easily number two Lenovo Legion go is very heavy device I can't hold it in my hands for more than 20 minutes and this you hear from the guy who can lift a lot even right now holding it in my hands I can feel how heavy this device is I'm not sure for how long I can hold it in my hands I'm guessing because of a kick stand probably it's been designed to be always on your table in fps mode number three big beautiful screen let me explain yes this screen is big and beautiful but it's not the best screen for low resolutions if you will decide to use 720p or 800p in your game because of a frame rate you are not going to have a good time screen is bigger pixel density is smaller and your average resolution will be 1200p for example on RG Al because of a screen size 720p looks way way sharper this is due to higher pixel density that's it small screen higher pixel density and also Legion go is missing vrr or variable refresh rate which is very important number four horrible speakers oh the speakers I can't even start to describe how bad they are absolutely no base very flat sound and way too much high frequencies [Music] [Music] BL number five very loud fun first of all coil wine if you know what is it you know for those who don't this is high Peach sound from your fun and the only way to deal at least a little bit with this coil wine is to cover this part of a fun grill with some tape by the way this noise in the background this is how you hear here your legion go when you're using it and now our Gala at turbo setting number six placement of the buttons this is the most frustrating part of this device why so many buttons for what reason the thing is probably it's been designed to use only in fps mode but in fps mode you cannot use these buttons unless you'll Mar them manually so it's unusable this is just horrible check this out if you would like to go to the settings in your game you have to do this movement so many times this is so uncomfortable that's crazy my hand is already tired doing this why not to move it next to the top button like on RG Aly speaking about top button if you press it you will go to some sort of a store only in the store you will have have settings look let me scroll down and show you what is this thing this can't be real it is super laggy and I'm not sure how safe it is to use it if you'll Press menu button you'll have to wait some time for one more menu then you press setting button and there you go you are in a setting just little lag but it's right this is how easy to reach on RG Ali for the buttons I'm barely moving my fingers and everything so accessible in some games you have to press these buttons a lot only because of a map in the game quests or maybe you would like to change your TDP slightly and quick look on Steam deck steam setting button is not very reachable but setting button is right on top where it should be right next to the buttons well done steam well done number seven custom TDP custom TDP on lovo L go is real joke only because right now with 30 WS and 70 to 80 frames per second and let's move it down to like 16 watts and see if it will drop my FPS and no my FPS still the same nothing changed I'm still at 30 wats and now let's change to 5 wats and see if it will change our FPS it appears that Lenova after the last update just broke my custom TDP well done Lenova well done number eight FPS mode FPS mode is weird I just disconnected these joysticks from my Lenovo Legion go and let's see if I can play this game but unfortunately I need to map every single button in this game manually but once I will connect the joysticks back I'll have to remap everything back again technically there is no point at all to have this FPS mode on this device I see this as a flex from Lenovo just for no reason the more I use Lenovo Legend go the more I want to use RG Aly Lenovo Legend go is a good device but it's not for everyone
