[Music] the printed textile studio is one of the reasons why I decided to come on the course as soon as I came in at felt like home I love the fact that we get our own workspace when I came to an open day I loved how everyone had their own room to just put their work up and kind of also be inspired by other people's work as well it's so light and bright and those those of plants and there's a real like community aspect to it I chose the course because I like the idea of being a designer specifically for surfaces so it could be interiors it could be fashion and I really like the idea of that it's a professional studio environment from the get-go you'll be treated as a young professional our students are are very committed and active in student workshops they are extremely motivated and hard-working people equally reap the rewards here one is all about experimentation drawing underpin our practice and you'll be introduced to a variety of techniques color mark making you will experiment with digital print design and material for workshops and individual and collaborative practice year to seize you continue the personal experimentation and with workshops now your focus more on your design outlets in relation to an audience or market new three is your time for personal development so if you will look at experiences gained to develop a professional portfolio in the creative direction I really like the fact that our tutors are so hands-on like not only with our work but if we've got any problems any queries we can go and talk to them I love their contact time that we have of our teachers we see them on a daily basis and we can see them as much as we like every student on the course will engage with life briefs we are actively involved with enrichment activities there's a lot of professional visiting speakers on the program placements through live briefs and course contacts and of course we're very committed to national and international competitions the facilities here are excellent we have a range of different facilities but my favorite is the print room we're given a lot of access to the print room a lot of really good access to ceramics and any of the 3d workshops we work hard and we play hard too it is a creative environment where you'll develop confidence in your abilities and real experiences of the world out there a friendly studio environment a great environment of the Arts University and a very high tutor student contact [Music]
