Learning 24 Minecraft Skills in 24 Hours!

i'm currently falling from sky limit with zero items in my inventory and i'm attempting to learn 24 of the toughest minecraft skills in 24 hours like the horse mlg let's go and if i learn every skill in this video i will become a complete minecraft player the problem is this list is filled with skills i've always struggled with such as the five block jump to make this jump you have to perfectly time 16 elevated jumps back to back by doing so it will give me the maximum possible momentum please please please oh that was so close big jump now ah the last time i attempted this job it took me over 10 hours i cannot afford for this to take that long again seven minutes passed come on we've got a good rhythm right now wait there's no way i don't know how i've done that already but that is the five block drop completed now it's time to learn how to build a bridge fast very fast this is the type of bridging known as speed bridges the way to do it is to crouch just before you're about to go off the end of a block place another block and then under crouch before repeating the cycle but you have to do this in a very fast and fluid motion and to master this skill i have to get to that platform over there within five seconds three two one nice nice nice ah doing this in less than five seconds is so hard come on this is a slow start i've just got to find the rhythm this is it this is it yes get in speed bridging completed we're making great progress so far however now i have to attempt to speedrun minecraft since i started making minecraft videos it's always been a dream of mine to be able to beat the game in less than an hour however i've never even beat the game solo and any time i've attempted to speed run in the past i failed so badly it was too embarrassing to ever show in videos but today i'm determined to succeed we've got a village i need a nine pickaxe and a bucket into the leather we go okay now i need minimum 14 ender pearls for seven blaze rods this is actually looking really good i have everything i need i just have to find the stronghold aha where's the portal room okay okay i have to concentrate now time's looking very very good i cannot afford to make any mistakes but unfortunately my old ways hadn't left me here we go here we go here we go oh no oh no oh i messed it up haven't i and i wish i could say that was my first attempt but this was after four hours of failures i've ran out of time to attempt this again as well because in 63 minutes i'm supposed to be pvping a minecraft pro and i am terrible at pvp therefore i'm going to attempt the speedrun again later on and instead i'm going to attempt to learn three combat related skills within one hour to help build my confidence back starting with the perfect trident shot over 50 blocks away is a pig and i have to bounce off this time and hit it perfectly with the try by completing this i should get better at my timing come on qualcomm yes skill done perfect circle to increase the speed of my hotbar switching i have to throw every block in my inventory to make a circle in the air three two one was that it i'm pretty sure that was a perfect circle to improve my aim this is the most accurate arrow shot let's go that is how all three skills completed and just in time too this is militech one of minecraft's top pvp players we're gonna be fighting in the best of five my goal to do at least six hearts of damage to him during one round right you ready i'm ready let's go let's go let's go i have a feeling you're like bluffing and like secretly like the best minecraft i'm really not it was round two come on oh i hit you there i was getting destroyed however that was my plan if i wanted to become the complete minecraft player i had to learn this pvp skill therefore my plan was to not tell meditek that i'd already learned a few combat skills so in his mind i was terrible and although that's not far from the truth my hope was that if i massively failed at the first two rounds he let us go down just enough for the third so that i could hopefully deal the six hearts of damage come on then oh shoot [Music] [Music] how many hots were you on i was on four that meant i had dealt the six hours of damage and therefore completed the entire pvp skill category next up i'm attempting the aero boost whilst running along you have to shoot your boat just light enough for the arrow to hit you this should boost you along at a quicker speed than just sprinting this is it i think is it not i'm gonna have to check the replay and have a look it's not perfect but i'll take it i'm running out of time next up i'm gonna try and recreate pure art aka my logo i'm starting with the outline and then slowly building my way in this is starting to look pretty decent actually i've just got the middle to do and then it'll be done you know what it's not quite bob ross but it'll do and now we're going from pure arts to pure pain this is arguably minecraft's toughest jump the triple near to complete it you have to jump perfectly around three blocks and land on the same line you started on and that is why it's only been completed by the top one percent of minecraft parkour experts ah jump jump ah i have no problem getting around the first two jumps but getting around these three blocks you have to move your mouse in such a way to shift your momentum of your character and it's really really tough to get right with the clock ticking down i kept trying over and over again but to no avail i was convinced this jump was just too difficult for me until finally i did this yes yes yes the triple neo completed 100 blocks ahead of me is a finish line and the only way for me to reach that line and complete this skill is to climb across there using sand nice smooth start let's keep it moving now come on that was too close [Music] i could slightly see the finish line now please please please yes oh what relief that's 11 skills done and we have six hours remaining i hope these start to get a bit easier though well unfortunately i've never seen a player attempt what i'm about to attempt whilst falling i have to place both a block and ladder down beneath me to save my life sounds fairly easy right well you only have about 10 milliseconds to place both items essentially that long i'm currently practicing placing both items in creative to hopefully improve my speed oh that was definitely quicker however even with this extra practice i've clearly massively underestimated how tough this skill actually was i could place both blocks down i'm just too slow and i keep taking damage i was convinced that either this wasn't possible or that i just wasn't good enough but then don't just i swear i just did it i don't know how i did that but that is the block leather clutch completed this is the double scaffold mlg the only way to survive the full beneath me is to place two scaffolds just before i hit the ground at max speed come on come on i have to go da da no duh duh yes that's more like it and now it's time to attempt three of the most technically difficult skills in minecraft my timing catching on fire perfectly mid-jump because of the momentum you gain from taking the damage you're able to jump two blocks instead of one master this skill i have to repeat the jump eight times in a row without dying this skill is almost like an analogy for every skill in this video i have to run into the fire to improve and learn come on one two three four five please please please yes 14 skills done this is me attempting to fly through the most precise electric course in minecraft to master it you have to fly through four one block gaps before landing safely on the ground you don't realize how small this gap actually is until you slack your face on it quickly however i found that by hitting the block above the hole you can slide down and fly through that way come on nice okay there's one one keep it going keep it going we're on good rhythm right now oh my god i went straight through it one last one last one last one yes perfect elijah flight completed i have five boats in my inventory and five blocks beneath me to club shot come on that's one nicely done two and three keep it going four one more one more five yes but wait i've just checked the time and we only have four hours to complete eight skills which means i've gotta be fast using this fishing rod i'm gonna attempt to bring that water bucket up towards me catch it and survive the fall come on come on come on yes skill master this is the seven block gap jump extension to complete it you have to place two blocks to catch or fall and stop you hitting the ground the difficulty comes in trying to aim at one block and the other in quick succession oh ah why did that work [Music] yes yes yes yes and from clicking twice clicking nine times in two seconds this is a skill known as speed clicking to complete it i have to spin round and break every piece of cobblestone to drop the sand this is really testing my aim the trick to getting is to follow an imaginary line in your head of where to aim and click even so however i kept missing out on one block this piece of cobblestone is the bane of my existence right now come on please yes finally next up i'm attempting to build a redstone wave machine with zero knowledge or help i know that i have to somehow make these pistols fight one after each other but flicking this repeater doesn't seem to make a massive difference we need sticky pistols to stone i know that so if i do this wait that's working okay then i just need to get in that is a working wave machine we now have two hours left and i'm going to attempt to speed run minecraft again but this time i'm coming in with a new approach i'm gonna attempt to learn two new skills to hopefully speed run successfully the first skill is making the nether portal out of a lava pool which i basically already mastered let's go but the second skill was what lost me might run earlier and that is known as the bedside the key to this skill is to set up the end circle correctly then by timing perfectly by clicking the bed as the dragon's head is above it you can kill the dragon using four to eight bets yes there's only one hour left now and i have two skills remaining that means no matter what i do now i'm gonna fail my goal of becoming a complete minecraft player so now we have a choice i can either attempt my last remaining skill or have one more go at completing the speed run and i think we all know which one i'm picking time to put all my skills into use to once again attempt to speed run however i still kept messing up why am i not able to do it i have time for maybe one more run if i'm fast but once again i'm actually terrible i'm doing everything wrong and i don't know why that's the time gone to which means i failed the initial challenge of learning 24 skills in 24 hours i was so close on that run as well i can't give up on that i just want to get a decent speed runtime so badly no i'm not giving up i'm not giving up a refusal i'm going to keep going until i finally get a good time and that's what i did on and off for a further 31 hours the only thing that mattered to me was completing one single run in less than 60 minutes every part of me wanted to give up and it really felt like i was fighting a losing battle but if there's one thing that doing these types of videos has taught me it's that even when something seems genuinely impossible when everything is trying to stop you from succeeding staying persistent pays off [Music] see what we can do yeah here we come go come on don't be stupid don't do anything stupid yes yes yes yes six bed of it let's go i may not be the complete minecraft player but i have finally completed the speed run i've been attempting for over 12 months and it feels good
