[Music] hey guys thanks for driving from Sodor to play games my name is Lance and today we're gonna take a look at Dark Souls the card game this is a brand new game by steam Forge games it takes roughly an hour to an hour to have to play and it is a 2 to 4 player fully cooperative deck building game so in the game itself obviously you're playing in the Dark Souls universe again and the players are going to take on the economist or sewer assassin Harold and soldier depending upon their playing styles or which characters they like then they're also going to choose a major boss and a mini boss that they would like to fight in the game and then throughout the game they're going to be trying to obviously with it being a deck builder they're gonna be gaining new stamina cards or improve stamina cards item cards and equipment cards to add to their decks throughout the game if they're able to defeat the mini boss in boss before they've gone through all their sparks then they have won the game otherwise they have lost so my opinions of this game so far very good I I do enjoy deck builders especially cooperative ones so I was really interested to check this one out and especially after talking with steam forge a Gen Con last year this one really sounded interesting to me as the players deck of cards is actually also their health so as you do different actions and spend those cards or take damage you're actually slowly depleting your deck as well as your health in that and if any player is required to draw cards and they do not have anything to draw then the players have basically forced to rest and have to spend one of their sparks now players only have 5 sparks to work with throughout the game and if they spend all those sparks before being able to defeat the end boss then they have losts so that being said like I said I do enjoy this one and I definitely liked the different aspects to it and I feel like they've really captured again the essence of Dark Souls this game is gonna punish you again very it's a very challenging game by no means you're just gonna blow through this with no problems it's going to defeat you you're gonna have to go at it again and again before you finally defeat that boss but I feel like they've done it in a way that has managed it to brought it bring it back down to a reasonable time for I did enjoy the the board game but it was extremely long it was extremely grindy and I feel like they've they've taken a lot of that out of the card game the card game is a really good time frame you don't feel like you're grinding quite as much as you did in the board game and the treasure deck has a lot of items that the players will be able to use right when they get them so you don't have to worry about upgrading different stats and different abilities and maybe your character can equip the thing and maybe they can't so you're gonna have items that are not going to be useful to you in the card game everything is useful to the players and the players are gonna be able to use the items to to help them to defeat the game so again these are just my opinions I'd also love to hear your guys's opinions is this a game that you guys are playing or looking to play is this one that you're really interested in and for those of you that have played dark souls or big Dark Souls fans do you feel like this captures the game again or do you prefer the board game better or neither of them or anything else I'd love to hear your comments in those in our suggestions feedback in the comments down below let me know what you guys think of this corner or the other one and I'd love to start conversation with you guys so other than that let's go ahead and head to the table and I'll teach you guys how to play player setup is very easy first off each player is going to choose a carrot they'd like to play us in the base game there are four different characters are choose from you have the assassin knight Harold and sorcerer each of these characters is going to have their own main card which is going to have their threat level at the top then it's going to have their own unique icon each character is going to have their own in all of their starter cards are going to have that icon so you can easily identify their starter cards and then underneath that is going to be a symbol for the cards for the base game and as expansions come out those will also be different symbols so that players can easily separate and know which cards are for which sets then each character is going to have a main image and a special ability here at the bottom of the card when you use a special ability you're gonna flip the card over and you won't be able to use that again until you've rested at the bonfire then each character's starter deck is going to be comprised of 28 cards of various types we have armor cards and different weapon cards and then the majority of the deck is going to be made up of stamina cards which there are four different types of stamina included in the game you have intelligence strength dexterity and finally faith as you can see the assassin only has the first three then let's go ahead and take a look at weapons so with weapons each weapon is going to add the name at the top of the card and then each weapon has a different type of attack there are four different types as you guys can see here which are heavy precise skilled and magical again on the side here we have the icon of the weapon for the character and which said it's from and then finally you have the different types of attacks with the weapon each attack is going to tell you if it is if you'll place the card back in your hands or if you're going to put it in your discard pile it's also going to list the required stamina that you have to spend and how much damage it will do when you attack with it so for example here we have three options with this weapon the first one would let us return this weapon to our hands and it's going to require suspends a strength a dexterity and one stamina of arch which the white symbol can be any stamina that we have and for that it's going to do two damage to the enemy that we attack or we can choose to discard this weapon and one dexterity stamina and due to damage or discard and then one strength dexterity and two of our choice to do three damage and you're going to find these all these different icons in the book and you'll also have a quick reference guide as you guys can see and armor works the same way each card is going to tell you or each action is going to tell you whether you return it to your hands or you discard it's the amount of stamina you must spend and the amount of damage you can block or if you can dodge now the one important thing with this if an enemy does status affects as you guys can see here on the back of the reference card you can even if you dodge or block all the damage you're still going to take though that status effect now if you dodge the entire attack then you will not suffer any status effects as well we're going to cover this more during the attack phase with the bonfire deck you're going to stack cards one to five on top of each other to create the bonfire deck and when players rest they're gonna flip over one of these bonfire cards so at each card is going to list than the number of the card the name of the card and then at the bottom it's gonna have a when revealed effect you'll resolve that immediately and then it's also going to list each player's deck size so this particular card with the bean number one is the starting bonfire card and so each player's deck will start with twenty eight cards but let's go ahead and say the player's rest you would flip this card over and reveal the next one with this one it says one revealed you're going to gain one common treasure and the players hand our deck size has increased to 31 and this way they'll be able to purchase souls and error use souls to purchase new items from the market as you guys will see and as you go through the deck size is going to increase and they will continue to get effects but if at any point in time you rest and you're required to turn over the last card where there's not a card underneath it revealed and the players are going to lose there are two different types of treasure tax included in the game and you're going to go ahead and separate these at the beginning of the game Clemmie we have the common treasure items which are going to have the regular treasure icon on the top corner here and these will range from weapons to armor to different items that you can equip or use when they come up in the character's hands then we have the transposed weapon our transposed treasure which are going to have the little treasure with the little blue dot in the top corner here and these are usually very powerful items that the players will gain and the only gonna gain one of them for defeating the mid-level boss as you guys will see at the beginning of the game you're also going to shuffle up and separate each one of the encounter decks there's level one two and three encounters and each of these encounters is going to have the name of the encounter on the top the level of the encounter a little image and then a breakdown based on the number of players for this encounter so if we were playing two players we would receive one treasure for clearing this encounter and we're gonna have to deal with three level one enemies in order to clear this encounter and as you can see as you move up in the number of players the encounters get more and more difficult so they will scale based on the number of players and so with this one you'd have three level one enemies and one level two enemy and then as you move up in the encounters into level two and level three encounters you'll notice they'll get harder and harder including more enemies all the way up to level three enemy types as you guys saw with the encounter deck there's also three levels of enemies level one two and three each these enemies cards is going to be broken down into a number of different sections the top corner here we have the level of the enemy then the enemies name and the number of souls that enemy will give you if you defeat it then again the icon for which set this enemy is part of and then that's defensive value and number of hit points that it has and you have the enemies attack value how much damage it does when it attacks and each enemy is going to have a weakness to a particular type of attack so with this one this enemy is weak against heavy attacks then we have where the enemy is going to spawn on the enemy's battle board and which area of the enemy is going to attack when it performs its attack and then some of these enemies are also going to have a special ability at the bottom of the card you must resolve and as you can see as the enemies get harder and harder they're going to be worth more Souls but they're also going to be a lot harder to take down with a lot more hit points and armor rapport set up the rest go ahead and follow the rulebook as it shows in the diagram first off you're gonna lay out the player and enemy board and in the rulebook it identifies this is the enemy board initially and this is the player board in the setup but later on the rulebook it refers to this as the enemy board so I would say go ahead and choose one that you want to be the enemy board in my game I'm going to go ahead and have this be the enemy board and this played the player board from there then you're going to choose which encounter you want to go on you have two different enemy bosses to face on either side of this so it just depends on which side you want to face so I'm gonna go ahead and go with this side here then you can go ahead and shuffle up each one of the encounter decks levels one two and three and also the enemy decks one two and three and the treasure and Transpo's decks then you're also going to set up the marketplace you're gonna go ahead and separate each of these decks into it the same cards for that stack you don't need the shuffling because they're all the same and then go ahead and place them out and the only difference between these is each of these cards can be purchased with a number of souls that's listed at the top of the card and then there's two different types you have the one with the split down the middle which means that when this card comes up you're gonna get to choose which stamina you use whether it is the top or bottom stamina and then with this one it's worth more Souls but this one will grant you both of those stamina so that is shown there finally you can place on all the different tokens or you're going to use for the game you set out your bonfire deck with the first card on top all the way down to the fifth card on the bottom and then the remnant of humanity cards can also be placed out which will be used as the players go through the bonfires if they're not able to purchase enough cards or have enough treasure cards to have in their deck to equal whatever the maximum handsaw or deck size is for the game you'll throw these in as substitutes so that each player has a number of cards then each player can go ahead and grab their deck they're going to take their character card and place it somewhere on the starting board so I'm gonna cut in place our herald here and we'll place our assassin back here from there then the players can go ahead and shuffle up their decks and we're ready to move into the game one other thing I want to cover real quick before heading into the game is with the players decks each player's deck is considered their life and so at any point in time the players can count the number of cards remaining in their deck without looking at them or changing their order players can also go through their discard pile at any time and look to see what cards are in their discard pile to start exploring the party is going to choose and encounter in a space next to the bonfire space so here we have the bonfire space and we're going to choose one of the encounter spaces next to it to start exploring so we have a level one here or level three or we can come down here to this level one or level two so we're going to go up here to this first one here and the first time a part a the party explores a new encounter space that doesn't have an encounter card they're going to draw an encounter card of that level from the account or deck so with us being a level 1 encounter we'll draw a level 1 encounter card and flip it over so we have the deeps so from here then we're going to move into the encounter itself so each player is going to place their character card in an empty space on the character battle mat as we already did at the beginning of the game and then each player is going to draw cards until they have 6 in hands so our herald / hero 1 2 3 4 5 6 and the players are going to go ahead and look at their hands and if a player has no weapon cards in hand then they can choose to shuffle their hand back into the deck and redraw but if they have to keep this new hand so we're going to go out and look through we do have a weapon card so we're pretty good here with the Herald's and we'll head over to the assassin to do the same thing and the assassin does not have a weapon card so he's gonna go ahead and do that he'll go ahead and put this back in and shuffle back up and redraw 1 2 3 4 5 6 and this time he does have a weapon card so we're good there from here then we're gonna go ahead and reference the encounter card and again based on the number of players we're gonna draw that number of enemies and type so we're gonna fight three level 1 enemies 1 2 3 and we'll go ahead and place these on the enemy battle board so the first one we have is the hollow soldier and if we place this card like this you can see exactly where he's going to be placed on the enemy battle board in which space he's going to attack on the characters battle board so with this one we're gonna place him down here in this space our next one is a fire bomb Hollow which is going to go into the top-left space and finally we have the grave warden which is going to be placed in the bottom-left space now if an enemy card has a spawn requirement and that space is already filled by another enemy then you're gonna place that enemy in the same row in an occupied space if this is not possible then you're going to set any leftover enemies aside as soon as these spaces available in that enemies spawn row you're gonna place that enemy in that empty space now that all of our enemies are out we're moving to the enemy activation as enemies are always going to activate first so all enemies activate and are resolved in the following order as you guys can see here starting with the left top space and working our way across anomie board down to the bottom right-hand space each enemy that attacks will attack the character in the target space if there is no character in that space then the enemy is going to attack a character with the highest taunt value in the target row and if none then the highest taunt character in the other row now if an enemy card attacks multiple spaces on the character board then all characters in those spaces are hits but if there are no characters in those spaces then the attack misses completely alright so let's go ahead and start with us top space here we have the fire bomb holo and he is going to targets the back left space which there is no character in right now so then he's going to target the back row in the character that has the highest taunt value in that row which is our assassin so he is going to do three damage to this asen so now the character the assassin is going to get a reaction so each time a character is attacked the character can use one quick action or standard action to react to the enemy attack block actions are going to reduce the amount of damage as listed on the card dodge actions can reduce can avoid all damage and effects from the attack and some heroic abilities will allow a character spawned as well so let's go ahead and look at this our assassin over here has some cards in his hand let's see what he's got he doesn't have any defensive cards to use so unfortunately he's going to take the full brunt of the attack so after the defensive action if any then some damage may be left over the player must discard one card from their hands or from the top of their deck players choice for each remaining point of damage once all enemies have activated then all here characters are going to draw until they have 6 cards in their hands and if any player needs to draw a card and cannot see the player that that players character dies and the entire party must immediately rest at the bonfire so with our assess and failing to be able to make any defensive effect he's going to take 3 damage so he's going to either choose three cards from his hands this card or cards from his the top of his deck so let's go ahead and get rid of one stamina card and then we'll do two draws from the top of our deck there's another weapon card okay so then we're going to move on to the next guy in the row so we have the hollow soldier who is gonna target this space here again there's no character in this space so he'll target the row which is going to be the herald so then the herald is going to check and see if he has any defensive cards he can play he does have the kite shield and let me see if he's got the stamina to do anything with it and he does not so again he is going to take some damage and this guy is also going to do three damage to us so let's go ahead and we'll drop this stamina card here and then let's just do two draws from the top of the deck so armor and stamina there then finally we'll move over to the bottom guy who is going to target the herald as well and he's going to do two damage to the herald so again our herald is going to go through and shoes let's go ahead and drop we'll drop the shields and we'll do this stamina here from there then our characters are going to redraw back up to there and sighs so our Harold needs to draw three cards back into his hands and our assassin has to draw one after all enemies have activated then we're going to move over to the players activation where all players will get to activate in any order that they choose each character can perform one or more of the following actions but each action can only be performed once those actions are to discard one or more cards from the player's hands to draw an equal number of cards from that player's deck a player can also choose to move their character one space in a cardinal direction if there is another character in that space then a character wishes to move two he will swap both characters and this is going to take up both characters movements for this activation a character can also choose to perform one attack action they can choose to do one nun attack action with an equipment card and they can also choose to use their heroic ability if they're able to once all players have completed all of their actions that they want to then all players are going to draw until they have six cards in their hand again so let's go ahead and take a look at this we're gonna go ahead and start with the herald to activate first so the herald player is not going to discard any cards from his hands draw additional cards and he is going to go ahead and choose to perform an attack action against the fire bomb hollow in front of him so in order to attack an enemy you're gonna target enemy that is in the same column as your character enemies can only be targeted if there are no other cards in the column between the character and the enemy so I could not choose to attack this card here as there is an enemy between us then you're gonna choose an attack of one of the equipment cards and this card stamina equal to that attack the enemy is going to take the amount of damage equal to the attack the damage is going to be reduced by the enemy's defensive value unless the attack type matches the enemy's weakness and if the damage equals or exceeds the enemy's health hit points then you're gonna remove the enemy and gain the number of souls so with our herald here he's gonna go ahead and use the spear he has three different attack options with the spear and each one of them is going to do a number of damage points our holo the Spears weakness type is heavy which is not going to match our enemy types so the enemy is going to have a defense that we're going to get through before we can do any damage so we're gonna have to do a minimum of two points of damage as he has one defense and one health luckily our spear does two points of damage regardless of which option we choose so with that we'll have to make our decision so we're gonna go ahead and spend one faith stamina to activate this middle section and discard its and then we're going to have to discard the spear as we have that down arrow now we could have chosen to spend a strength in an additional stamina to take the spear back into our hands but we're not going to do that so we do two damage to the fire bomb Hollow which is going to be enough to eliminate him and he is going to give us two souls for that so we'll go ahead and place him down here in the discard and then we'll take two souls and add it to our loot pile from there then the herald could choose to use his ability at the bottom so he is not going to do that yet but he is going to activate his non attack equipment talisman and with that he's going to discard one stamina card of his choice which is this bottom result and discard the card to heal five hit points so we're gonna take five cards from the bottom of of his discard pile and add them to the bottom of his hip is deck and then he's gonna end his turn there so unfortunately with the assassin he's in a bad position right now he cannot move anywhere that it's gonna get him adjacent to an enemy so he's just going to move up one space and from there then he doesn't really have any other actions that he could perform so he's gonna go ahead and stop his turn there so again our herald to draw back up to his starting hand size of six and he's only got two cards left so one two three four and at this point our players have all activated our characters so we're ready to move back into the enemy act so let's go and take a look at another turn sequence so we're gonna go and start with the enemy activation again so our we're gonna go through and activate all of our enemies and that's order again so our hollow soldier is gonna be the first one to activate this turn and he's gonna target this space here as there is no enemy in the space he's gonna check the target row and the enemy with the highest taunt will be the target so our assassin will be the one that's hit for three points of damage so again our assassin does not have any defensive cards so he's gonna have to choose and discard cards so he's gonna go ahead and discard to stamina and one for the top of his deck then we're gonna move on to the next enemy which is the grave warden who is gonna target the herald as he is in that space for two damage so then the herald is gonna come over here and he does have herald armor so that is going to let him he can spend one stamina to take the garmr back into his hand so he'll go ahead and do that and he will not take any damage as the armor soaks three points of damage and the grave warden only does two so at this point then are all the enemies have activated so our characters will take a number of cards back in their hand equaling 6 and our assassin over here has four cards so he'll take two more and then we're ready to move back into the players activation moving back over to our player activation we're gonna go ahead and start with the assassin this time so he's going to move his character first and again like I said there's no diagonal movement allowed he must move in two orthogonal directions and then he is going to attack this hollow soldier and he has a dagger that he's going to use so with this one he's gonna spend one dexterity to use it and it'll discard it to the discard pile and that is gonna do two damage and again it does not match the enemy's weakness type so he must get through his armor as well as his hit points so the weapon does two damage and the hollow soldier only has a one defense in one health so he's gonna go ahead and discard that ends our players will gain two souls and again he's not going to use his heroic ability and he doesn't have any other actions to do so then we're going to move over to our herald player our herald player currently does not have any weapon cards so he's gonna go ahead and discard a couple in hopes that he's going to get one so let's go ahead and discard these two and we'll draw back up to our hand size and we did get a spear all right sweet so with our spear we're gonna go ahead and use it and the spear is a heavy weapon which our enemy is weak to heavy weapons which is good because he has one armor and two health so otherwise he would have had to do quite a bit of damage to him but since our weapon matches his weakness type we're gonna go bypass his armor so we just need to do two points of damage so our herald is going to spend one strength one faith and one stamina of any other choice so he's gonna go ahead and do that one it's a discard this that'll do two damage to the enemy and then we'll get to take the spear back up into our hands so our grave warden takes two damage and that'll be enough to kill him and he will give us two souls as well so now that our players have cleared all the enemies we're ready to move into the next part of this once all the enemies on an encounter are defeated we're gonna leave that encounter card face-up on the encounter space and place a cleared encounter token on that space then if our party defeats the encounter the impart the party will gain the souls and treasures which are placed in their loot pile so we did defeat the encounter so we're also going to get one treasure card that will add to the souls that we've already collected we're gonna move the number of souls and treasures into the loot pile after first moving any souls and treasures already in loot pile to the inventory the contents of the inventory are safe so if we have RT if we had already gotten these before in the order loop pile we would move them down to our inventory and then we would not be able to lose them where they loot pile is more of a gamble for us if we continued to get to go through another encounter if we fail that encounter and then we'll lose all of the contents of our loot pile from here then the party can choose to either go back and rest at the bonfire or press on and risk the current loop pile for another encounter if the party continues you're going to choose another encounter next to the party's starting position or next to the already cleared encounter so at this point with us having this cleared encounter we could go on and face the mid-level boss or come back and choose one of these other three options at this points like I said our party could choose to go on and explore another encounter but for this demo I'm gonna go ahead and take you guys and say that we're going to rest at this point so resting at the bonfire when a party rests whether by choice or because they are defeated you're gonna flip the top bonfire card over face down and the next con the next bonfire card is going to take effect if this was the last bonfire card then the party is going to lose so with our new bonfire card it says that we're gonna gain one trick common treasure so we'll place this in our inventory and then from there if any characters have used their heroic ability they can choose to flip their card back over now which neither of our characters had but let's go ahead and say for example our Herald had used his acrylic ability at this point he is able to flip his card back over if the party was defeated you're gonna discard all souls and treasure from the loot pile which our party was not defeated if the party rested then we're gonna move all of the loot to the inventory so our loot pile is gonna get to move be moved to our inventory pile and then from there the players can choose to purchase new stamina cards the players can add and remove cards from their decks and if a player cannot reach their maximum deck size you're going to add remnant of humanity cards to their deck so let's go ahead and do this we have six souls and two treasure cards to work with so let's go ahead and spend let's see what treasure we have first we have this spotted whip and we have have the heavy gem so let's go ahead and give the heavy gem to our assassin to add to his deck and we'll give the spotted whip to our herald so that'll bump all both of our decks up to 29 cards and we need to get to 31 so then we're gonna go ahead and spend let's go ahead and spend 4 souls well the guns go and spend all 6 souls to get some new stamina cards so our herald will buy this one here and then we'll go ahead and buy 2 for our assassin so we'll buy those two there so those will go into his deck so now his deck has a full 31 cards but our herald is short one card so we'll take a remnant of humanity card and place it in our Harold's deck at this point we also can combines all the cards back into the deck and shuffle it back up from here like I said we're also going to clear off any encounters we have any cards that are out already or any encounter cards will remain those cards are never replaced so when our characters to start again they can choose to resolve that encounter again or go on to one of the other new ones if we're moving into the boss battle let's go ahead and take a look at the boss cards and their behavior deck as that is going to be different so first off each boss is gonna have the name of the boss to the top and their symbol in the corner here then we have the number of souls as always that that boss is worth and the number of trans posts treasure that that boss has now the end bosses will not have that as once you've defeated them then there's no point in continuing then again we have the symbol that that boss is associated with what said it is and then there's an icon here which is either the doorway which is the sign that the boss will always start on or with a lot of the bosses they are going to be double sided and we'll also have a heat up side so once you defeats one side of a boss they'll flip it over to the other side then we have the amount of armor than that boss has and the number of hit points it has based on number of players so again the bosses will scale based on the number of players and then a lot of the bosses will also have a special ability or some sort of condition that will be affected so with this one is icy touch so when a player character starts its turn in the front row it is going to suffer frostbite and again with the bosses they will not simply have one attack type they have a deck of behavior carts which each card will list the type of attack that they do and where they're going to move the boss is always going to move first into the space that is indicated and then perform the attack and a lot of the attacks will target multiple spaces and again just like anything else that's going to show what weakness that boss has that turn to what type of attack and the amount of damage that that attack does and any effects that are associated with it so moving on the next section we're going to cover our boss encounters as you guys already saw what the boss cards look like so we're gonna go and say that we cleared this first level encounter already and we're ready to move on to the mid-level boss so with bosses they're gonna work a little bit differently bosses are always going to be placed in the middle of the front middle space on the enemy battle board and they're always going to be placed with the doorway icon face up as most boss cards are going to be double sided as you guys already saw with a doorway side and a heat-up side from there then you're also going to use the bosses deck of behavior cards as you guys already saw to determine what it does during its activation so we're going to add and shuffle that deck up and place it somewhere on the board each time the boss activates you're going to draw the top card of the boss deck and resolve the move first on the card and then the attack action listed on the card if the deck has no remaining cards you're gonna flip that pile of discards over without shuffling it ends when the players are battling the boss if they do more damage than is listed on the boss's health for that care that's a attack and they're required to flip the boss over so if he's still in the doorway side any remaining damage is lost in his nuts placed on the boss on the flip side so for example with this boss's first one with two players at six health let's go ahead and say that he had taken five damage and the player attacks with two damaged remaining one will be enough to cause the card to flip and that last point of damage will be will not be placed on this side of the card let's go ahead and take a closer look at a boss battle now so first off the enemies are gonna attack first so our boss is gonna activate and we're gonna draw the top card of his behavior deck which is chilling strike so we're gonna resolve its movement first so he's gonna move to the top right corner and then he's gonna perform an attack on both of those spaces so our assassin will be hit and he is going to do four damage to him as well as he's gonna cause frostbite on his character so let's go ahead and see if the assassin can do anything about that so we're gonna check his cards and the assassin does have the assassin armor as you guys can see he can discard one dexterity and the assassin armor to dodged the attack which means that he will not take any damage and he will not suffer the frostbite effect so that was really handy for the assassin to have and then this card Oh goats at the discard then we'll move over to the players activation so first off with our boss here he has icy touch so when a player character starts its turn in front of in the front row it's going to suffer frostbite so unfortunately our Sasson is still gonna suffer frostbite which is going to do he's gonna suffer one damage the next time the card moves so when our character moves he's gonna suffer damage so then our assassin is gonna go ahead and take his turn so he's gonna draw some cards first as at the end of the enemies turn he drew back up to six cards and then we're gonna see if we have anything to attack with so we have a couple of options let's go ahead and start by discarding a card hopefully to get another stamina which we did and then we're gonna use our dagger here to do some damage we're gonna go ahead and target him first off his weakness does not match our weapon type so we're gonna we have to resolve against his armor which he has one armor and we're gonna go ahead and use this bottom ability so we're gonna discard four stamina to that were required and two of our choice to do three damage to him one of those damage will be stoked by his armor but he does take two damage from the rest of the attack so we'll place two damaged icons on there and he has six health as we're two players and then this will be discarded as well go ahead and use his special ability which says that he gets to flip his card over to afflict one damage to an enemy in the same column as this card this damage ignores the targets defense so we'll flip that over and we'll do one additional damage to our boss so he's up to three damage now so then we'll move over to the herald to activate and again the herald is in the same space or the front space so he's going to take frostbite as well he is going to move so let's move him over in which case then he's gonna take a damage so we'll just take the top card and flip it over now The Herald is not in any space to attack so he is going to go ahead and discard a stamina and talismans heal five wounds on our assassin so the assassin will take five cards the five buff five cards in the bottom of his deck or his discard one two three four five and placed them on the bottom of his draw pile from there then we'll go ahead and end the turn so our Harold head gets to draw two cards and the assassin will get to draw four five cards all right and then this will continue going on back and forth between the boss activating and our characters activating in Silveri until either the character one of the characters require is required to draw a card and cannot which case in the characters will fail and have to rest the bonfire or they defeat the enemy so the first time they'd if they do enough damage to equal to his health we'll flip him over to his heat up side and then when the characters are able to defeat and do enough damage on that side then the the players will have beats that boss and we'll get one transposed armor or one transposed to treasure and for souls I'll help you guys found that video helpful as always if you have any questions or comments please leave those in the
