hello everyone i thought today we'd play a bit of a guessing game if you like this kind of thing please like and subscribe question is which of these three items do you think it's the oldest that's question one be thirsty buddy all right question two which is worth the most money this is a candy dish a compote i think they call it also a butter butter dish that's what they call that this of course is a candle candle holder tea light holder and this is sugar and cream for those of you that guessed a you are correct this right here is um early american pressed glass made by riverside glassworks they call it number 76 and that company operated in 1880 to 1904. so yep very very old the next oldest for those of you that guessed would be c depression glass and you're not going to believe how much this guy's worth and this is the newest costa boda they call that snowball all right so question number two which one is the most expensive like which one has the highest value right now and i mean hopefully things would change but which one is it for those of you that guessed a you win again now the second highest in value is the little snowball and they sell for about 11 10 11 and unfortunately depression glass is very depressed because i found so many listed and none have sold in the cubic design which this is called the cubic design um someone has one listed for like six dollars and something now you might want to hold on to these for now because i know at one point they they had very high value but for now they don't i realized i didn't give you information about the other two items so i wanted to tell you a little bit more about the snowball uh costa boda or some people i've heard them say costa boda but i like to say costa boda because it's more fun this was created by a lady named anne wharf in 1973 and it is still in production is one of their best sellers and the company itself actually uh was established in 1742 and there's a little sticker on this one that actually says since 1742 a little list of just the most recent sold items now let's talk about the depression glass i just assumed everybody knew but i wanted to share with you if you didn't that the depression glass is actually thinner than normal glass because they were trying to save on resources then and they made them from 1929 to 1939 and that is why also they call it depression glass is because it was during the great depression i hope you enjoyed today's video if you did please hit that like and subscribe button also next time i want to talk to you about this guy and how much he's worth when he works or if he doesn't work [Music]
