[Music] check this out we have worn that poor little feller plum out hey we're circling back around by the lazy e arena real quick because we're going to have the opportunity in just a few moments to look at some of the horses here at the lazy e check out some of the stallions that they have here and uh just kind of look at their horse program in general we're going to take a few minutes and do that before we hit the road and go home poor little feller poor little feller he's just pretty tired you know what what'll happen when we leave here i won't have to stop and buy him anything to eat because he's gonna fall asleep and he'll stay asleep for probably four or five hours it'll save me it'll save me one meal today because we won't have to buy anything to eat until this evening okay let's go inside and look at some stallions you ready all right let's do it hey look who we find shawn you're a waste from cam burrito i'm a little ways from camp stratton what kind of shoes are those dirty ones i see that got a little red red dirt on them mason let's go look at them hey so this is this is dave right here he runs the stallion barn and uh this is a horse owned by johnny trotter that they've got here we're just going to have us a little tour for a second of some of these stallions kind of a neat facility you can see right here this is all uh pretty clean and pretty nice what do you think about that pony sean that's an amazing horse he's uh he's an only son a first down bash out of one of the very best separatist daughters there ever was is he right is that all right yep so what's that what's the age on this horse he's 11. look how much balance there is in this horse she hits the shoulders come back a little nicer how many stallions do you have here 10 10 of them so now now all of the all of them i guess mares that we see out on the in the pastures are those all owned by the lazy e no those are very well they're not recent mirrors either they're just stuff just on-site mirrors they'll keep you around they'll just hear you around me yeah we're still yeah they're still all very married when do you guys quit collecting stuff uh we're gonna hope quit by the fourth of july you know we've got some freezing left to do and a few others but we'll keep on going if they want to you know yeah wow super nice i guess he's late guess his weight dave you know how about that he's not packing anything so how do you keep the are these what what's the program of these stallions every day they get on a walker every single day they rarely put them on the walker they'll still get turned outside just turn it out yeah there's no individual paddocks that get turned out for half a day or so yeah you know so any association with other horses i mean as far as no not your splits they're split so they're never in they're never with another horse too much risk of yeah getting one hurt how tall is he i'm not good at that 16-4 what is that i don't know what is he 17. oh it is see i told you hey so so obviously i i didn't know what i was talking about there so when you talk about how tall a horse is by hands how what does that equate to i mean tell us tell us three and a half inches three and a half inches per hand so when when i said 16 though when i said 16 4 that's not that's not uh each tick is a hand is four inches so they used to measure by hand they didn't carry tape measures around so each the width of a full-grown man's hand is average is four inches so you could make you could measure amount people would know yeah how many hands they were how many hands yeah but crossing that with queen of appeals i think this horse is strong every single every single part of this horse's genetics are super strong queen of appeals was a fantastic daughter of first down dash they crossed that with a strong a thoroughbred line that you can get and then they come up with this cider and then he's mr jess perry on the bottom you go down another row on the bottom and it's leaving memories first down you know what he's talking about so he's first down dash top and bottom he's first down back top and bottom first down dash is the is the best producing quarter horse stallion in the history of the world how old is this horse he is five six i'm sorry six you got the first call for two-year-olds this year and it's also a pretty good start he was undefeated all-american futurity winner he ran out 2.2 million this horse did yes so yeah he rounds what 2.2 million yeah undefeated yeah every course you guys have in here is a huge a huge earner yeah i forgot about that i forgot that he that he had produced like that this is they're looking for the perfect combination the perfect bloodline the perfect outcross 856 000 he's a he's a son of six or run he runs second in the all-american maturity he runs second the next year in the all-american derby as a three-year-old he ran third in what the california race the golden state for charity sean i'm impressed dude this is my life yeah so tell us about this one this is big blue uh his first crop are yearlings this year and we're expecting big things out of him i really like him how is this horse he is seven seven years old ran out close to seven hundred thousand and did it in oklahoma new mexico and california 24 starts 17 of them were he looked aboard golden graded stakes company he was a runner hey so when are you boys going home because i've got about uh eight or ten steers that we need to rope and break in when we get there it'll take me a while to get caught up again but we after we win this the lower open today we'll head home tomorrow morning tomorrow night how come we didn't rope in the 12. um too too busy watching oh okay and then we'll but we'll be back we'll be they use user in their breathing program and we are met some new people yeah i met a lot of new people didn't we we are headed to uh we're headed to hereford be there in uh four or five hours from right now mason you ready to make tracks how long until how long until you think you'll be asleep 30 minutes to an hour uh i give you less than 30. if i don't talk to you and just turn some music on and drive you'll be asleep in less than 30. won't you probably what have you got there cool book on their stallions it's kind of neat huh i think this is the one that we just yeah that is it's big blue tail is long clear to the ground all right here's the deal mason and i have arrived in hereford texas and uh we do not leave here till tomorrow so we decided to get us a hotel room and take it kind of easy good with you so we are staying caught up on what is happening at the lazy e arena where we left earlier today because they are getting ready for the short round of the 11 and a half roping and i'm pretty excited because you guys that have kept up with our vlog you know that sean palmer ropes at my house a lot sean palmer and a friend of mine gary keaney have made the short round in the fourth callback position so when we get down to the fourth callback i'm going to give you a little of this right here and let you watch it [Music] let's call back number 19 right there we'll
