Laying Out And Digging A Basement

this morning is a statement digging day I know a lot of people say why don't we do basement well this is a perfect spot for a basement so they're doing one I got to lay it out this morning I got my four mistakes all four corners would say pretty much just squirted up the house and made up what is it a 50 of a 50 box so I got a stake from here to here here to here so I got to lay out this line right here and then measure over I know where these corners are all this is basement right here I've got to dig this right here and you got your garage in front porch which I don't have to undercut I've got to lay out this wall right here and then these right here are pretty much already staked out over take them through feet so they got room to do the wall set the laser up and see great and kind of feel my small like Isis gonna be a walk out basement down here you got a walkout down here level then also it's got to be deep enough to have a ten-foot wall I got him tripping all the grass off that way I can come in here and lay out the the walls here and thought to dig until we go up hill pretty good and I'll actually be bill up there kind of level off for the driveway in front yard romans 3 Paul so right here laying the garage out now eight feet all right and then to the garage is right here and then doing the front porch area right here so put it all the way on the line two foot eight inches right there okay then let's go all the way down because I got what I got to do is come up we got to overtake it two feet just measure down to eight all the way down here and I can just move it up to a right all right yes or corner for a porch someone laid this out and then I got over dig everything two feet so I'll just take the lines and move them up the hill two feet pulled all my measurements and I got my edge for that wall we got this measured this is my front corner where the four kids and then I got the notch right here where the porch sticks out and then the two-foot over cut and then the garage will be right here they just like I said they just made a a box so all that is just pretty much nothing but front yard time to set the laser up and start digging [Applause] so everybody says why don't you ever take not very common here first one and walk out base to do it but not [Applause] get out very dated here wasting all the dirt on the day take that out alone or [Music] working good the back Laure don't nothing solid at level [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you didn't take long to get it cut out a basement cut out just kind of ran into some bad dirt and kind of see the layer topsail down the hill well this is where it tied back in this is going to be undercut I'm able to sink the probe like two feet we're gonna grade it all out and let the Builder make that decision and get it where it won't hold water let them be able to look at this that's fairly simple yeah all that still up there from that little notch up bit about a six foot cut right here just lift it all the dirt back here and we'll blend it in better we finish cutting all the dirt out [Applause] fairly straight board
