Layer 2 GUIDE | Deepwoken

yo what's up guys and layer 2 is finally out and I know a lot of you guys are wiping over and over to layer two so I made a full guide on the entire first floor of layer 2. this is not for etrion's Boss floor only the floor you guys start on which is up until the blood boss before I begin if you guys subscribed that would mean a lot to me and let's get to it so we wanted to do to even access layer 2 is to go to Castle Lite and talk to this NPC sure you can go in layer 2 by just jumping into the void but if you talk to this NPC you will get a life hook which is basically immunity from dying for 20 minutes in layer 2 and you can go in with friends when you're finally in layer 2 the first thing that will actually kill you isn't actually any mob no the most scary part about layer 2 is the parasites that Eat You Alive what parasites you may ask well it's these things [Music] they look like snow blobs but when enough of them Clump up on you you will die like this [Music] you won't actually die from having one or two on you only when five is actually on you and they get on you in harsh weather like snowstorms and Etc being in caves won't actually put these parasites on you unless you fall into these snow pits [Music] there we go this is a parasite vest and will kill you faster than jumping into a void now how do you even get rid of these parasites well the first thing you want to do is to run towards a lantern that looks like this [Music] is the only way to get rid of these parasites as they will come right off like this before we go into the location of these lanterns let's talk about how you get out of the starting area of layer 2. there will be a giant door that requires a key to open it and here's the path to actually get the key and open the door foreign we're just gonna get this and then let's just go back so we're trying to get to the gate right now um this part is actually easy the only thing you have to worry about is the parasites and also your food as you can see I have carnivorous I'm not really worried but if you don't have a carnivore then uh just make sure you have a lot of food and George is going to open once the door is opened you want to take this path to get to the first Lantern and save yourself from being eaten alive [Music] and then you want to take the middle path and there will be Lantern here all right that's enough of the wind thankfully uh the wind's not hard it's just kind of annoying because you always have to do it like five times oh you just want to press the lantern if you haven't noticed there are harsh winds that blow against you they will push you off into down below if you don't push towards them like this had to actually not be pushed off by the harsh winds is to face the direction the wind is blowing against you and then hold W against it you want to face against it and hold W against it this he just tells you to push against the wind make sure you hold W and this whole W gets to win and face towards it or else you just get pushed off foreign once you stop getting pushed by the wind you want to start making a 20-yard dash along the path until you counter another Windstorm yep just like that the wind is annoying sometimes once you get to the lantern safely it's not over because now you want to back Trace these Gates will not open unless powered by a power generator so you need to turn on the power generator this is how you get there you're like five times oh you just want to press the lantern and then just go back there you go you can actually run past that if you're fast enough and you'll make it to the big basketball big bad boss or he's not even a boss he's a mini boss but bro he has like the entrance of a boss he has a better entrance than permanent I'm not even gonna lie out and once at this part you want to safely cross the bridge and here you'll meet your first mandatory mini boss don't worry he's actually very easy to handle and you can hold s against all his moves and he will actually miss it just stay calm focus and parry and you'll be fine considering his attacks wind up can be seen from a mile away here's how I usually defeat him but this won't work for everyone okay and there we go and to save it ow um he's not even that hard I'm not gonna lie you can actually just okay I got hit there but um now he's posture broken um he's actually pretty easy he's like a normal mob I'm not gonna lie it's just a normal mob oh no yeah you can fall off the bridge just try not to do that and Bam he's done once defeated you want to make your way up to the power generator and ignore the NPC there and I just want to make your way up to the power generator you don't really have to talk to this NPC here he doesn't really tell you much you just want to power up the generator and then go back to where we were [Music] then make your way back to the lantern once back here you'll see that you can actually go through the gates now now just follow me we're here so just go back to the lantern um as you see this like this thing here let's get it off and now you can actually enter this room and just follow me uh this one's actually once you get past that everything else is pretty easy except for obviously the boss and you just oops hold on CE here you actually want to drop down and go inside this cave parasites won't actually attach onto you in this cave unless you fall in a snow pit so you just want to drop down here and go into the cave now you want to follow the path I take until you get to the Village above you really don't have to fight anything in the cave to be honest with you because um they do a pretty bad job of actually noticing that you're even there in the first place so just go up here then make a jump here and you want to go to this Village here press this blue button come outside and now you're in the fear fire Cliffs and you're trying to get to the fear fire Village up here there we go uh you can ignore that NPC the only NPC you need to actually talk to is this one [Music] once here talk to this NPC and he'll give you a quest to find a spear the location of the spears this way there we go and now we need to get the spear you can just drop down there and just follow me look he didn't even notice me you can just walk right past him all right now just drop down here follow me there we go get the spear down here once here grab this beer and go back up to the Village above to talk to the NPC again you actually can't get it back up normally because the floor that you broke to get in there is now reconstructed and is blocking you so you need to go to this specific spot ouch and you actually can't get back up because it actually the thing that made you fall in the first place it actually rebuilds and blocks your way and if you have zero maybe you could do it with more Jody but as you see I have no agility sadly so you're gonna have to do it my way and it's probably the intended way actually so just follow me [Music] go up here come over here and we're back so we're just trying to get back to the Village and get the talent and if you have the talent you won't get the talent again but um you also need to complete the quest to actually open um these blue doors I'll show you yeah you need to open those blue doors so you need to go back up to him for your first time completion he will give you a talent which reduces the fog around you and opens the blue doors around the cave spear where'd you find this you're at for far Cavern that NPC there that means to be eligible we're eligible for one of the things the quest no no no no now it's time to go to the final boss go to the blue button and follow me and I'm gonna show you the way that you take your zero Jody because um I do have zero agility so you want to go here through the store there will be a NPC that will kick you down to the pit and five bounders will chase you just run past them and make it towards here have this guy kick you right he's gonna kick you and now you make a 20-yard dash um these boaters will barely hit you I know I'm gonna say that and probably get hit by every single one of them but they're so bad at chasing I don't know what they did they just stand there like they literally stand there none of them is even chasing me actually and before you go on to these a fair warning these will break after two seconds of you stepping on them so you want to be fast make your way where I go until you get to this Lantern and burn off your parasites alright so about these things they actually will crumble upon you so you need to make you need to run when you go on these they you need to run run because look they're gonna crumble oh make sure you guys actually press on Lantern to get rid of the parasites because I keep forgetting to do that then just follow me Lantern to get rid of the parasites because I keep forgetting to do that and uh you want you definitely want to get rid of the parasites uh this jump is super hard I hate that jump with the passion it's just difficult for no reason basically um and then you just want to make your way down here and go up to these things um now what we want to do is just wait for this to respawn right so we'll wait and it's kinda annoying well it's like kind knowing it is annoying there we go I made it and you just want one run past this guy um and then go here and just follow me go up here there's gonna be like a little like like Castle you can just there's gonna be two like uh mobs you can just run past them once again run past this guy just don't get sniped and now once you're here you actually need the union hook talent to get up make sure you have the union hook Talent so you can actually come up here like this you get this Talent at the start of the dungeon if you drop down like this and into the Vault to open the vault you need the power generator active to get inside so make sure you do that first [Music] yeah what do you mean like someone would figure out a different exit but once here you can talk to this NPC and he will give you a union hook to actually use so they can use the machines to get up so I then Glide up and follow this path like this and then just follow me there we go those break underneath you [Music] like usual um oops we went the wrong way oh God okay you just wanna go up here oops parasite is almost gonna kill me and now we're in the boss and there you go you're at the boss room now to beat the blood boss you want to look at what jar he's sucking from and break those jars after breaking all the jars he's sucking from he will collapse onto the ground and that's your time to hit and spit on him you have to do this multiple times until eventually he just dies um you can just hit the boss three times before he actually hits you well you have to talk to him first and then like during his like speech uh you just hit him like that and what he's gonna do he's gonna suck out of the blood Jars and you need to actually and that move is so annoying by the way but you need to actually break the blood Jars he's sucking from and um it's very difficult okay I broke the two jars now we can actually start hitting him and you can just wail on him right here do some healing moves they really help and this is actually my fourth try with the blood boss so I'm hoping um we can do it first right here just block that I would say he's pretty easy if you're solo but he does scale off multiple players which is what makes him kinda hard um I would say he is definitely the hardest boss um deep broken is has to offer right now and that's not including like the the second and second layer boss so let's just break this there we go he's gonna um hopefully die fall down please spit on him just keep whacking keep whacking yeah you definitely want to do this solo um even though with more people it is easier to break the blood bars um it's just he scales he skills so much and he spawns like bounders more like frequently during his last stage alive uh where's that okay there we go he's gonna drop down okay just get some good hits in on him and just wait for the blood bars to go back you always want to like keep an eye out for his next move because like that um it's just like super fast this too if you weren't paying attention just looking at the blood bars you would have definitely got hits like I wasn't paying attention on that that's also like only dodgeable like that move is literally only dodgeball but yeah this boss is so hard but I'm sure you guys will um be able to bite him just it just takes practice a lot of practice and not a lot practice too this is my fourth time even fighting him and I feel like I'm about to beat him anyways all right let's just go here ouch oh he's dead all right okay just keep whacking all right uh which star is it yeah just make sure you're always facing him you don't want to get caught off guard uh that's the worst thing that can actually happen to you okay Dodge that there we go oh we got extremely luckily there three blood bars on the same side and this one's just upper extremely lucky ouch oh oh okay he's dead he's dead he's dead we just beat him oh you just wanna hold block during this literally only hold block during this you like I he gets pulled down just below just keep holding block during this and there we go so you can either choose to escape through this or if you have your light cook you can go up this is what the chest looks like and basically I'm not gonna go up I'm gonna go to the second layer and show you guys what it looks like all right so um take a look this is the second layer of Layer Two and um if you thought Layer Two was bad well just take a look at how much more you have to do let me put up my Graphics just to show you the pure you guys are not even done there is so much more so yeah I'm gonna make this a part two the two-part series um part two is gonna be obviously how to beat this place and let's just say uh you guys definitely you guys definitely want to watch that because there's not gonna be any life hooks if there's a light hooks only meal for like two minutes like I have now so yeah
