what's going on everybody this island hopper tv  and today we're going to talk about the adult   disneyland las vegas nevada let's do it just some  quick facts about las vegas also known as vegas   it is the 28th largest city in the united states  known as sin city believe it or not you already   knew that i know but hey i felt like saying it  anyway it's actually closer to the grand canyon   than phoenix arizona is even though the grand  canyon is in arizona first up on the list is   going to be walking around the strip also known  as las vegas boulevard this is really where   vegas made a name for itself with some of the  classic hotels like the sands the flamingo   the strip is home to some of the largest hotel  resort casinos in all of the world right here   in las vegas on the strip now the strip itself is  about 4.2 miles long and it does have a great deal   of history having been founded in 1932 when it  really began to boom in the 1940s las vegas took   off as a gambling hub when organized crime cartels  set up their outfits here in las vegas nowadays   you can cruise up and down the strip and you'll  see lots of people watching going on entertainers   street shows that you can see and you can even  drink on the strip here with an open container   las vegas is very walking friendly here on  the strip and you can go from hotel casino   to hotel casino very easily if you need to  catch transportation a taxi and uber or bus   they're all here also right here on the strip  just after sunset look how lit up this place is   all the way down you've got the uh polo towers  and the mgm behind me and then you look right down   here you got the paris you've got the flamingo  the venetian and we're headed in that direction   i've been to vegas at least 15 to 20  times i can't quite remember how many   but i do know that i have some select few hotels  that are my favorite so if you guys are looking   forward to knowing the best hotels best bang for  your buck best value best quality you're going to   want to subscribe to this channel and watch  our video about the top hotels in las vegas   in particular right here on the  strip that video will be coming up as you can see it's quite obvious you will  probably spend some time right here on the   strip in las vegas when you come out to vegas now  what else is there to do around vegas that's what   we're about to show you and i would have to  say you're gonna have to bump shopping up to   the top of the list yes guys your lady is going  to want to do some shopping and so are you it's   just likely to happen out here so many malls so  many cool shopping malls and stores to check out   it's really hard to pick just one but if  i had to pick one it would be the shops   at the crystals now the miracle mile  across the street's pretty good also   and there are a couple malls along the strip like  i said but the shops at crystal are an experience   all in a league of its own and it's right  next to the cosmopolitan and aria hotel now that you've picked out a nice pair of clothes  to wear for the evening or what have you why don't   you head out and take a look at the bellagio  water fountain show now this show only lasts for   seven to ten minutes but at the evening show just  after sunset that's the one you're going to want   to catch if you want the nice colors but it does  start going at around 7 p.m to 10 p.m i believe   it's every hour on the hour and the water just  dances to the music so that's pretty cool isn't it i would have to say this dancing water  show is probably a must-see or something   that you're almost guaranteed to see  when you come to las vegas on the strip   and after you take in the show you can  head right across the street to the link   where they have the high roller ferris  wheel now this high roller ferris wheel is   quite the uh structure i'll say that you  have these big bubble uh ferris wheel   seating arrangements that you can get in these  capsules and the ferris wheel once you get up   to it you're like wow that's one of the biggest  ferris wheels i've ever seen it's not like one   of your fair carnival ferris wheels let's  just say that but here at the link you can   do zip lining and do some shopping hang out at  a bar grab a drink that's all here at the link the link is new so you might not recognize  this place if it's been a while since you've   been down to the strip they do have an ice bar  uh you can see it's a really nice place to come   in the evening time now in the daytime especially   in the summertime it's going to be pretty  hot down here so uh do keep that in mind now i told you guys about shows and we just showed  you the bellagio but there's another one that's   still going for many years as it stands and it's  actually still one of my favorite things to see   the mirage fire volcano show and boy oh boy do  they put on a great show here kids love this   i personally love it it's something that you  will not want to miss and if you were to compare   the mirage show against the water show   at the bellagio i might just rank this  one as a higher priority to actually see now for this one we head over to the miracle  mile where they have a really cool bartender   it's a tipsy robot this here robot makes your  drink here's the tipsy robot they actually serve   uh shots and whatnot with those robotic machines  over there you can see here i am plugging in my   drink order into this computer tablet and  then once i've paid it automatically begins   going to work by draining out the alcohol  and making the perfect concoction of booze and at the very least you gotta watch as these  uh artificial intelligence futuristic robots   go to town making your drink and hey i thought  it turned out pretty good check this out and   guess who's back on the list again the bellagio  this time with the photogenic botanical garden   inside the bellagio hotel and casino and you could  see this is a really photogenic exhibit isn't it although i think the kids will like it i would  have to say this is more of an aesthetic for   adults and they have a chocolate fountain  nearby which is actually in the guinness   book of world records and it's certified they  have the certificate right there to prove it now heading all the way south on the strip to  the end is the mandalay bay where they have a   really nice pool beach area with the lazy river  and they have the shark reef aquarium uh you   do need to get a reservation ahead of time to  visit this but hey shark reef aquarium is pretty cool next up we're headed to the uh siegfried and roy  secret garden at the mirage all right we're gonna   go ahead and go in here to the secret roy secret  garden and dolphin habitat it's 25 per person yeah so as it turns out if you  uh are a veteran you actually   don't have to pay 25 you pay 20. so instead  of two people for 50 two people for 40. i would have to say this one's definitely  for the kids especially watching the dolphins   interact with the trainers you see they do a  lot of different stunts with these dolphins   and they also have an underwater viewing area if  you missed the show you can just go under this   aquarium here and watch from the underwater  viewing area if this is your first time to   islandhopper tv you can subscribe and keep  up with us as we continue to show you guys   around the world after you're done watching the  dolphins you can head over and check out the big   cats now they do have siberian tigers they have  bengal tigers they have a lion a leopard and i   believe a black panther all really beautiful  cats that people like to come check out here   so once you've checked out the  animals over at the mirage you   can then head caddy corner across the  street to the lake of dreams which is   at the wynn hotel now the whole wind hotel  including the encore is really a special place   in and of itself just because of the way they've  done the decoration but the lake of dreams is   definitely considered one of the top things to  check out at the wynn hotel and on the strip right next door to the wind is actually  the venetian where you can take a gondola   ride just as if you were in venice  italy the water here is a lot cleaner   if you can see it's crystal clear but it's gonna  be a little bit hotter and drier and not quite   as amazing and historical but still something  romantic for a couple or maybe even a family to do   and once you've got your fill here on the las  vegas strip you can now head over to downtown   which is where fremont street is and this is a  whole other world of exciting things to check out   as you'll see this is actually the world's largest  roof that actually changes with animations all up   along the top here now they do have lots of music  playing street performers it's really crowded down   here too but you can get cheap food i noticed the  steaks down here were 13.99 whereas on the strip   they were about 55.99 for just a regular steak so  a little bit more affordable out here on fremont   street they do have a couple other hotels that  you'll want to check out including a new one   uh and they have the golden nugget  and several others like that   oh how could i forget a new one's called the circa so this whole area is called the  fremont experience and there you can see   a look at the circa right there on the right if you guys are enjoying this video you can also  like the video and subscribe to the channel as you   can see fremont street is really pleasing on the  eyes they do have a couple other things down here   off the fremont street experience that you want to  check out like the container village and some art   now if you thought that i was done with the  miracle mile you're wrong because here we go so here we are in front of the miracle mile  shops outside of planet hollywood if you   look right over here you can see uh beautiful  bellagio and the cosmopolitan across the street as you guys know it gets really  hot out here in las vegas so   when it's the middle of summer july august  maybe even september you're going to want to   be indoors and you're going to be really grateful  that the planet in hollywood is right next to   this miracle mile and it's air conditioning  air conditioning the stores this is a place   you want to hang out during the heat of  the summer thankfully las vegas does have   a very uh big indoor experience and environment as  well as the pools but i would say that a mall like   the miracle mile and some of these other indoor  places in las vegas during the summer are very   well received and welcomed by the patrons so look  how beautiful it is on that note that's going to   conclude
