it's all you can vegas hey everybody it's derek and katherine and we're at the baccanal buffet at caesar's palace it's open there is so much food to eat here we are so excited so let's take a look and see what there is to eat but before we do let's welcome our special guest dan from danvers this world what's up guys we're back you know the bakana buffet is open so definitely had to check it out with derrick first if you want to see the menu of the bacchanal buffet just scan this qr code tab at the top and you can see the beverage menu vegan menu vegetarian menu and gluten free yeah qr code right there all right we're going to start at the beginning which is actually the end of the buffet this is the far corner of the baccanal buffet it's the asian food but this is some of my favorite food on the bakanal buffet the fried rice the sweet and sour chicken szechuan fish that looks good ginger and garlic clams egg rolls this is carved duck chashu barbecue pork and this is chinese roasted pork belly oh this says japchae that's korean there's something empty there oh colby short ribs must be very popular banchon korean chicken some kind of rice cakes korean rice cake so they actually have quite a oh here it says this is the sushi it's california roll spicy tuna crunch roll spam musubi onigiri sushi that's eel shrimp all this seafood is just making me want meat so i'm gonna go to the other end of the buffet which is actually the beginning and check out the meat so look at this this is this is the elote mexican street corn station where you can get this uh made to order you just choose your flavor here's some meat beer yeah and we'll come back to this in a minute but i really want to show you the carved meats because this really is the star of the baccanal buffet this is an american wagyu steamship smoked brisket grilled tri-tip and prime rib that looks good and here's some gravies barbecue sauce peppercorn sauce this is oven roasted turkey slab bacon barbecue duck wings and oh this is wood fired quail give me a leg look at this this is a lot of meat and there's more meat st louis ribs kielbasa barbecue bourbon wings green beans wagon wheel mac and cheese cauliflower and broccoli rice and mashed potatoes hey look at this it says cheeseburger bao that's like a it's like a a chinese cheeseburger sandwich and chicken and waffles now we're back to more seafood i'm just going to have to acknowledge hey yeah that's right ruby yeah yeah i yeah first day we all got to be here right all right let's take a look at these crab legs these are steamed crab legs there's a whole new pan of hot steamed crab legs right there red curry shrimp and grits turmeric grilled baby octopus and frito misto it's all you can eat there's take you're not going to believe what's over here this is an incredible display of seafood mussels crab claws clams and of course shrimp and more crab legs if you like your crab legs cold you have them over here they even have lobster claws and oysters and oh some actually some sea scallops like right there in the in the shell look at that here's dan what'd you discover on the buffet i discovered a whole stuffing cake did you get that no oh my god all right it is a whole pig guys holy moly there's a big pig face right there i can't wait to try that are you only vlogging today not eating yeah but it takes a lot of time you gotta get show all the food first right what do you guys want to just say hello you want to be on the vlog so so what do you guys like about the bakken all the brand new buck and all just open what do you think one of our favorite buffets our last day here in vegas awesome while they're walking around getting shots at the buffet our drinks arrived and i got to show these to you my drink is the bacchanal sangria with vanderpump red sangria and fresh berries and dan got the margarita on the rocks i'm pretty excited about my bacchanal sangria again with vanderpump red sangria from lisa vanderpump who has a restaurant here at caesar's palace and you got some salsas and nachos and chicharron over here and there's even a little bit more food we haven't even seen the italian food which is right here got pan seared white fish crispy fried polenta chicken pita some broccoli rabe and beans cheese tortellini and this is shakshuka and there's pizza it's like this buffet just keeps going on and on and there's meatballs and bread sticks there's a lot of different types of pizza here margarita spicy sausage truffle mushroom this is baba ganoush beet hummus falafel and labnet well that does look good and even some grape leaves look at the middle eastern section here they definitely have a lot of variety here i'd say even more than before olives and cheeses and nuts and fruits and look at all these cured meats there's more meat i am here for the meat there's breads not so much here for the breads but these do look good these breads this is like a tomato and basil tartar on bread with bread and this is a carrot oh this says coconut carrot gazpacho and that looks like some kind of guacamole avocado bread i don't see the sign for it but this says oh p toast oh here it is that's actually p toast and it's the hearts of palm roll still not finished we're back at the the asian food oh this says filipino chicken adobo i don't see that it's here right now but i do see this spicy lao sausage oh they're making it right now okay great definitely want to try that vegetable butter curry and look at these vietnamese whole fish [Music] thai poor skewers i mean this is definitely not the typical old-school las vegas buffet this is like buffet for the future and the now so i am ready to eat now so you're one of the cards that's walking around and again you just have the hot dogs that's new right yes it is that's a new i'm excited about that can you tell me what's on it what we got is a japanese meatball dog on a lobster roll with two five mayonnaise sweet like a beer and a katsu sauce which is a fruit and vegetable look at that there's some lobster meat down in there ready for the bisque [Music] that's looks like hot coffee but i think it's lobster bisque [Music] it is yes thank you all right we got to try some of this food yeah now we got lobster bisque and we got hot dogs just let me have a try first i think we tried the soup first this first i really might try the hot dog first okay that's very good that's a snappy dog it looks snappy this has a really nice strong but not overpowering monster flavor i like it oh that's good yeah that is like it's almost buttery tasting absolutely so we have over 100 plant-based vegan and vegetarian items i can show you a couple over here we have our batavan roasted carrots cauliflower broccolini sweet peppers and onions and as you can see lots of vibrant colors delicious flavors uh unfortunately our whole roasted pig is not but uh we do have some nice blue the quinoa sweet potatoes wild mushroom pilaf and it's scattered about we do have another vegan and vegetarian uh section in the back i'll be happy to show you we have a brandy messy bar which is really cool one of my favorite areas so this is our meze bar we have um a lot of options we have dolmas lebanon falafel hummus baba ganoush uh wonderful colors great flavors very exciting to eat right over here this section is specially made for our vegan vegetarian options so we have a carrot coconut gazpacho itos tomato tartare and we have a hearts of palm roll it's a play on a lobster roll same flavors old bay vegan mayonnaise on a lettuce cup so it's delicious we also have our beautiful colorful salads all composed different flavor combinations all vegetarian items here that is yeah and there's a couple more sprinkled about we have a couple of vegetarian pizzas vegetarian sushi options so you know we have something for everyone here really you're welcome all right now it's really time to get this buffet started with some meat [Music] prime rib grilled tri-tip i can get some prime rib [Music] thank you and maybe some tri-tip as well thank you thank you all right and let's see what looks good here how about some turkey can i get some turkey thank you no but i think i would like to try some quail let me go oh okay i guess this is like display quail in the meantime i can get some sauces peppercorn sauce maybe i'll put that on the turkey and they got some barbecue sauce and some oh zhu i think i better put the ozu on the meat here there we go and in the meantime there are ribs to be had here watch all the time oh thank you i'm glad you guys made it here what do you think is the best thing about the new bach and all buffet so far oh yeah have you uh yeah i like me too awesome thank you nice to meet you [Music] right here awesome all right yep perfect thank you that looks great i feel like i need some mashed potatoes or something let me just get a little that and then then we're gonna eat the meat [Music] looks like you got something yeah i started off with a little bit of seafood we have some sea scallops here and i got a lumino net on the side for that these are barbecue oysters with chipotle bourbon butter those are great and they got some steamed crabs as well there's also cold chilled snow crab legs as well i have steamed crowleys and i got all the meat including quail like a little bird it is a little bird i gotta try this quail what are you gonna try first let me try this down this is so funny it's like a little tiny chicken i guess i mean but like super tiny it's very tiny this is a whole bird right here all right going in on my quail [Music] i like the breast i'll just i'll have the breasts [Music] that's really good [Music] it actually tastes kind of like dark meat chicken but juicier that sea scallop is so tender and soft it tastes so good nice and cold you gotta try that oh thank you give me the leg thank you that's not the way to go that's too small here you try this that's like the breath apart okay thank [Music] you [Music] i'm gonna try these ribs my fingers already messy i'm going to try the barbecue oyster can you see how it stopped that meat that's nice that's really good all right i still have all this meat i got the prime rib the tri-tip all right let's try this tri-tip that looks good [Music] it's super tender not as tender as the ribs i mean those are like fall off the bone gender but this is very tender and it's really flavorful it looks like a good rub yeah the right it is some kind of rub nice i'm still working on my gravel [Music] oh you can just get the skin if you want that's a good tip that's the best part okay oh chinese no oh okay great thank you um some skin and a little piece of meat as well thank you [Music] wow so it's the skin that's actually the the treasured part oh i gotta say the meat looks good though filipino chicken adobo vinegar and soy braised chicken with garlic and black pepper i mean that is the traditional recipe for chicken adobo all right oh yeah i kind of wanted to try these this lao sausage is a spicy lao sausage that's a vegetable butter curry that looks so good oh yeah and the vietnamese fried fish all right now we're talking let's get some curry [Music] and i don't have enough hands for this extra plate maybe i do let's see let's put it right there and a skewer thai pork skewer that's a peanut like a lot all right [Music] okay wait maybe one one piece of sushi the spam [Music] i think that's like a fried do you know what kind of fish it was okay well i do know actually to me that looks like a sardine looks like a small fish but vietnamese food will like to fry a lot of their fishes but the main thing about this dish is their nook mam which is fish sauce so however you eat that fish you definitely gotta dip it within this mountain that's where that's the key right there okay great thank you for that so dan just gave me the tip on the fish he said this is a sardine it's the biggest already i've ever seen but he says the key is this right here the fish sauce okay so like i don't even know how to eat it like you just like bite into it usually i use it usually i use a chopstick and i just go through it but honestly that looks like a much better way um just watch out for the bones yeah oh okay maybe i'll try to peel it off a little bit did you eat the skin i love this kid that's the best part all right here we go a little piece of the fish meat the fish skin and the fish salts that's actually pretty good oh yeah that crispy actually the fish skin heart is like the best part okay wow let's get a close-up look at this cheeseburger [Music] yeah it's just a small mini patty cut in half with american cheese secret sauce underneath and a steamed bun it's okay i mean it looks like it's just a cheeseburger and the bun is the bow bone it's not like the bell does anything different you know it's just okay i'd rather just have just a plain cheeseburger yeah yeah that was definitely one of the most interesting items that i've seen on the whole memory the cheeseburgers yeah so look at this this is this is the lalau sausage and it's on some kind of sticky rice and it's also got like a what is that like a bamboo leaf or a palm leaf or banana leaf there you go i also got a spam sushi it's like a little fan sushi right i'm gonna try that first it's extremely like salty and like spammy it's true i like that portion size it's like a nigiri but okay all right the sausage is really this is spam is kind of like sausage and meat sort of the way it's all ground up like i mean look you can't even see this is all different types of pork and fat and who knows what but let's see it's very fatty it looks very [Music] fatty [Music] it's spicy oh and you know what it's better than the spin okay which is actually very tasty okay look at this there is a actual like there's fire back there there's some kind of oven with with actual fire where they're making pizza what type of oven is that is that like a a wood burning oven or what kind of oven is that wood burning awesome you know it's going to be good i really want look at that there's a big piece of wood that's awesome i really want to try some of this pizza but i also really want to try the desserts this buffet the bacchanal buffet at caesar's palace has some of the best desserts of any las vegas buffet and i have been waiting all this time to have them again while they were closed i mean look at this right here vietnamese coffee cremo is what this is called ube chiffon cake i believe these are some of the new desserts that they have right now mango rice pudding look at this earl grey moose with grapefruit sashimi that's what it says they've got yuzu tart green and green tea and lime cheese cake and look at this tiramisu it's a whole display cheesecakes berry cheesecake oreo cheesecake and speculoos cheesecake they also got salted caramel mousse that looks good oh these look good too this is a carrot cupcake this is more cupcakes confetti cupcake and death by chocolate cupcake look at this this is salted caramel cupcake i see even more adorable desserts over here look at this this is called a sunny side up egg it's sweetened yogurt mango sphere and vanilla powder according to the sign here and it even says it's gluten free but look at this this is a rainbow cake and this is mint oreo chocolate mousse carrot coop banana cream pie creme brulee of course and a vegan strawberry cake this is vegan hello vegans here's here's your dinner at the baccanal buffet and of course all the gelato i see there's actually some kind of caramel apple or something over here red apple candy apple creme de pistachio a strawberry shortcake that's cute too and a chocolate powder creme and then this is the crepe station and here on the other side of the gelato there's egg tarts cinnamon roll bread pudding i mean you could just eat desserts here at the baccanal buffet you don't even have to eat the meat and the seafood you can totally just eat desserts there is more than enough to eat and they all look incredible take one more look at the gelato well there's toppings here there's little oreos and m m's and oh there's cones down there you can get yourself a waffle cone and they got strawberry cheesecake flavor espresso chip ube coconut that's a real coconut right there and of course the traditional strawberry vanilla and roasted banana dolce de leche all right i got i decided to get the ube gelato and the lemon gelato i really want to try this just a dessert interlude this is just this is just a break between all the meats right right well you still have some meat i still have some meat i thought i believe this is my prime rib tri-tip here what what is that dirk this is ube gelato so derek is doing something unheard of very innovative he's actually taking a dessert interlude break so after this we're gonna eat some more guys that's crazy this is so good really so dan what do you think if you had to tell me the best couple items there on that wall you basically just tried everything in the asian food section so out of that section what do you think is the best basically yeah so basically i tried every item on the asian food section and derek's about to go hit up that section right now so i'm going to give him a few you know recommendations i think the fried rice is at all the buffets i've been to it's the most authentic chinese fried rice i've had it even has chinese sausage in there the korean chicken is good and i know derek loves his fried chicken it uh sort of sort of fits the category um what else oh the bang bang shrimp that one's a hitter uh what else oh the garlic clams garlic clams that one's really good too very saucy um but um none of them were bad but those were definitely the standouts all right so you've got some food here too i did i went to the mexican station and i got an al pastor taco and i got a little store taco here i've got video they have beef video it's doing away here some corn tortillas and this is the mexican street corn the elote station you can essentially get it for classical lotte with takis flaming hot cheetos roasted garlic and cilantro i opted for just lotte casa lotte toppings first which is just the mayonnaise and the not the fresca but it's a cotija cheese and drier cheese let's just see how tender this video is first it was just stewing away it's just falling apart you see how tender this is i'm excited about this i have a feeling that i might like this more than some of the other meat i've had so far let's see before i wrap it in a corn tortilla i'm going to try the video straight okay so the roasted beef shoulder this is the one oh this is so good i would definitely get this again this is my favorite of the meats so far i'm not kidding but i haven't tried the ribs you have this is my favorite of the meats it's so tender you have to try it i also want you what is this this is alpha i'll try this one yeah i haven't tried this one yet if a street taco like this comes with two corn tortillas i like to separate them because if any filling falls out you can use your other tortilla and then you have two tacos yeah that's true that is true that's my my house it's very good all right here we go [Music] it's slow braised you have such good flavor from the meat just like with the videos it's really crazy yeah [Music] it tastes like a pot roast yeah which is one of my favorite things in the world to eat a slow breakfast it's really good and the best store is so good can i just dry that yes yes yes again it's a slow braised meat you can't go wrong i think the pickled onions are nice too yes it's super juicy it has that alpaca pastor spice like yeah pickled onion very good foundation yes i got asian food to try let's try the bang bang shrimp this looks like the most like panda express type thing you get that's good try some fried rice that's good too let me try the clams it's hard to eat this after all that amazing treat i mean [Music] oh yeah these are really good this is probably my favorite really i don't like to do that i'm really surprised because you are not a display okay context context let's try that gochujang chicken like a chicken wing it's spicy it's got that kind of bitter spice that the gochujang sauce has is it too spicy it's a little too spicy okay but yeah a little too quick okay i'm glad you tried it for me and a sesame ball love those [Music] okay this is my favorite all right i can't wait any longer i've got to try some of this pizza this is very interesting looking pizza because it's like super thick you see how like thick the slices are definitely not thin crust but i am curious what it's like so i'm going to try this one this is the mortadella with pistachio oh it's a pistachio mortadella that's what it is with ricotta mozzarella garlic and arugula here we go let me try some more of the mexican food we got carne asada tacos duck carnitas quesadilla i guess i gotta try that one duck carnitas quesadilla all right and there's the al pastor tacos sopes camarones i guess i'll try that and my plate's full already i think they need bigger plates here [Music] maybe that's just me maybe that's just what i require i'm going to try the carne asada taco i missed this my first round of the mexican station gotta give this a try yes and so we both have italian food and mexican food not plants somehow that just seems to be the next uh course that we should try and i forgot the meatballs there are italian meatballs right here but luckily you got them so maybe i can see if i can try one of them yes you can have one of those okay all right let me try the taco first can i try the meatballs you can try the meatball first [Music] it's kind of like that meatball you get like at um like a 24-hour cafe or something okay the big spaghetti and meatballs at midnight like the midnight special yeah perfect i love that that's good sometimes okay [Music] [Music] that looks super like succulent and juicy meat it is the meat is really juicy [Music] yeah the onions the radishes the cilantro all the elements for it that's really good you know what this is duck quesadilla oh i didn't do that that's right carnitas yeah it's like i guess that's the carnitas and there's the quesadilla part got a big piece of avocado avocado all right let's try it look at that [Music] that is super delicious that i don't even know what what is inside like is that oh it's like black bean paste okay i'm gonna go get that right now hold the phone okay she's gonna get it right now stop everything everybody dan don't go anywhere or if you do go get one of these all right so you got you got yourself a dump target i did i know you love to see it i do so and carnitas that's right i could love them all let's see how this is the duncan you liked it so much i had to literally leave the table and come back to get it all right let's see there's a kind of a tricky bite but we're going to go this way all right here we go duck carnitas quesadillas [Music] wow [Music] that is so good this is excellent the duck carnitas quesadilla wow i like it more than the carne asada taco oh yeah that looks pretty good too yeah it looks so juicy meaty it is and it's good don't get me wrong with this i think it's like carnitas which you don't really get too often and and that's such a fatty like a rich meat all right now we have italian food too including this this pizza this is like super like i thought it was super thick but it's actually really airy and kind of puffy it's more like oh that one's more like yeah this one's coconut forgotten like they're just very they're very different yeah and i got the chapel one oh yeah oh thank you i'm not gonna get the chocolate okay here we go [Music] that's good it's struggling i wish i had more truffles oh my god everything looks great all right so you got a crepe station here so we've got a mixed berries some whipped topping and a bananas foster sauce and all the crepes are made right there in order right yeah well i would love to have one one one just one uh with the uh bananas foster stuff nutella chocolate caramel oh yeah yeah uh actually let me say how about mixed berries and like you have like a caramel sauce mixed berries and caramel sauce i like that that sounds good but the berries on the top so what goes inside the caramel sauce the inside yeah yeah that sounds good thank you you knew me right no not right now she was very excited you guys want to be on the video sure we love it we're so glad that they're open it feels like things are more normal now the food is outstanding the variety is outstanding it's perfect i agree what's the best thing you had so far everything good dessert yeah and this is my favorite restaurant um and so i'm really happy that it's open and i'm here at the perfect time celebrating my birthday and i was telling your wife and i just watched a video of the book of youtube like a couple weeks ago i was like man and as i'm sitting here i'm like i wonder how they would sit here and eat the food and christy get so it's just amazing oh well happy birthday thank you and i'm so glad you guys are thank you oh yeah the variety is fantastic yeah this is definitely it's got to be the most variety of any of our fanbase yeah for sure yeah definitely we didn't even see that back section back there just happened to walk back it is a little hidden back there peanut butter caramel milk chocolate mousse all right that's fine i can hold one i can hold this one you might want to have to get us another one but let's take a look what's uh striking your fancy there's definitely a lot of good desserts over here let's check around over here those are cute sort of dessert cones yeah these are the ones that were intriguing to me when i looked at this earlier you want to get one of those yes because it is called the sunny side of egg but it's sweetened yogurt mango spear and vanilla powder i'm gonna get one of those for sure did you well one two oh yes please yes it's very unique looking it looks like a fried egg in a cast iron pan [Music] oh can you get me one of these the banana cream pie big fan of banana cream pie thank you desserts here are always amazing oh totally and here's they even have these like oh this is the no sugar added nsa chocolate mousse lemon bar and cheesecake but i don't do those desserts and here's the gelato i already got this would you like some [Music] yeah there's a lot to look at here and you got the egg tarts and oh that's cinnamon roll bread pudding can you give me some of that yes please thank you oh you're welcome i'm going to guess oh yeah good idea good call [Music] oh this is look at that ube chiffon cake yeah yeah i need this and so do you right yeah i think so purple yeah okay and look at this this is like an earl grey moose with some kind of a grapefruits i don't know are you like i don't like grapefruits what do you think yuzu tart i would probably get the youtube target yeah that's what i was thinking well you get there you start my plate almost at maximum capacity no you get one for yourself maybe you can get me the mango rice pudding over there in the little takeout carton and just try to set it uh yeah okay yeah and then there's some more over here these uh cheesecakes oh yeah coffee what was it called viennese coffee cream oh that's right salted caramel mousse that looks pretty good that looks good we have some back for anything wearing a hat give me one of those just you can stick it on the edge there yeah yeah and then there's cupcakes that one's kind of cute i'm intrigued by the salted carrot yep okay i'll get one all right i think we got our fill of desserts for now it really feels like it doesn't it i know awesome yeah we are you guys all done first round of desserts i already had a dessert interlude so yeah all right where do we even begin i think i'm going to begin with my crepes and what are you going to start with i'm going to start with the sunny side of egg because okay let's try that okay let me try this we have sweetened yogurt mango sphere it looks like an egg it really does so cute oh okay you put right through the mango [Music] hey that's just so really good oh i like that it tastes almost like a greek yogurt it's not it doesn't sweeten yogurt but it doesn't taste very sweet because the mango's really sweet [Music] there's a molecular gastronomy going on here yeah that's a bonkin buffet this is super good that's good it's amazing as always we love this buffet we are so happy it's live happy you're back i'm sure you're happy you're back yes we are thank you so much everything has been so great maybe i can try some brisket yes please perfect thank you yeah thank you awesome thank you some barbecue sauce brisket please here we go i knew there was something i hadn't tried yet it's the chicken and waffles i gotta make sure i get one that's a nice big piece of chicken look at that perfect there is more seafood over here that i i didn't try but you know maybe next time all right so i got my fried chicken and waffles and some brisket this is my final plate i'm sad to say but we'll be back so what did you get for your final play is it your final plate i don't know i'm not sure yeah maybe not maybe not it might be my penultimate plate yeah but we'll see um i decided to go with meats because that's what you do after desserts and whole meat filipino chicken adobo that's an egg roll a spring roll and the thai pork skewer i got the crispy duck breast the troshu pork st loose ribs and the cowbee shortbread all right let's see how it is okay let's try the brisket what are you gonna try first let me try the filipino chicken adobo this brisket is super tender look at that let's go right apart [Music] i know this is the st louis ribs okay okay all right st louis ribs he's been raving about them here we go oh that's right off they're very good these are excellent this is nibidia my favorite meats i gotta try this the chicken and waffles some pickles i mean this looks perfect they're not easy to eat but it looks tall try my best here we go there's a sweetness oh okay [Music] is the chicken spicy like a hot chicken no okay okay let me try the chicken just by itself there's like a sweet glaze on it almost like syrup that's great fluffy waffle not powder in there and pickles that's good that's one of my favorites can't leave a buffet without creme brulee though okay you gotta tap the creme brulee first i mean the top see if it's nice and seared glazed okay it is indeed wow this is good the vanilla bean underneath very moussey creamy cold and the top is actually seared you know i've been i've had some of these buffet creme brulees where it's just kind of like a blob of cream so what do you think you think this is all worth the price because it's not cheap here the vapinal buffet i'll put the prices on the screen because uh they i can't remember them but yeah but they should be there for you right now so uh what do you think it wasn't it wasn't you it was like upwards of uh i think seventy dollars something like that yeah per person per person right i thought i think it's worth it i think it's worth it yeah i think so too i think it's worth it i mean if you love buffets the sheer variety makes it worth it just because you can just keep trying so many different things yeah there's so many we had a lot of food and we still haven't tried everything yeah and i think that the quality is like it's it's just right there at the right near the top a couple of misses but i mean for that's true of any buffet and uh really everything i think just for the most part tastes great right it's a really i probably did a really strong like a triumphant return a triumphant return from the buckingham buffet
