LABOR AND DELIVERY VLOG OF OUR RAINBOW BABY

um um so that was a contraction yeah so i got here now it's five centimeters um which is way better than last time last time you were nine centimeters ten ten it was ten we got here last time so the goal was to get here in time to get an epidural so it looks like that's gonna happen um i did not want it to be anything like last time's labor and i'm glad that we got here when we did and everything is going smoothly i was stressed out all day they were going to get here you were going to wait too long because it's really early this morning um they didn't start getting regular until right before we left but they were like six to seven minutes apart is that too loud i was just saying this thing is not it's not uh no i'm just saying so but anyways i mean my biggest fear is always that i'm gonna get to the hospital they're gonna be like no sorry they're saying home but yeah um the the ob that or the triage nurse was really nice she's our triage nurse we had last time we were here and she remembers the traumatic experience so um i don't i don't think we had to pull any strings i think they're just like she's staying here because i probably would have driven back home turn around and came back because the contractions have gotten stronger since they've been here so you're outfitted with some awesome chips of ice i've not eaten since 1 30 and i regret that because now i'm still hungry and if i will be eating till tomorrow so yeah cheers we should be pros yeah you can silence it she's gonna come here i'm so glad we got in here when we did because they get worse than this and that's when it becomes bad i know last last time was tough tough to watch you being in pain and [Music] all right so you got your epidural how are you feeling yes i did i'm really nauseous and you got to take your bra that was a plus but yeah i got my epidural um i'm doing placenta encapsulation this time so you can show them that little box over there so that's this mommy made so it comes with this little cooler thing and then they took the little freezer packs and put them in the freezer that they have here at the hospital [Music] two three [Music] [Music] good one more [Music] [Applause] awesome [Music] here we go [Applause] here we go oh my god when i touch you it will break through i've been fine how was it a rainbow falling so it's uh just after three and we've finally had a little bit of time to ourselves here how are you feeling pretty good i'm tired yeah i haven't slept since yesterday morning basically so finally got you some chick-fil-a able to get out he's been great so far he's just been he's just been napping for the most part sleeping getting some boobies yes he did yeah you ready he's just he's just really sleepy he's just sleeping do you see him smiling yeah he's smiling he's dreaming early this morning where's kashi hi bubba whoa that's so cool you want to see the baby okay look ready do you want me to bring him home [Music] daddy's on diaper duty i think he made his first poop at least it sounded like it honey act like you never changed a diaper before yes i know but it's so nasty it's like tar right yeah it's gross it's right here say hi look at that chin um right i know nobody knows because i've never seen you without a period oh yeah that's true my own children don't remember me without a beard so i went i darkened my beard before because i didn't want him to think his dad was an old man i went a little too far it's a little too dark we need to color this side too honey because you know what i mean yeah he's not really taking a good look at me his eyes are fully yeah and then he sees and he's like dang like this dude is old um you know but i'm sure that his big brother filled him in before he got here i'm sure how awesome his parents are yeah like your dad is a little weird he has some dorky jokes but overall i think he's good you'll love mom she's perfect oh yeah all of us love mom we tolerate dad thanks for making me a dad again i love you standing underneath the lights look into each other's eyes tired snowflakes are coming down collapse into water when they hit the ground i hear the sound of empty streets yesterday has gone to sleep so all that's left is you and me i can promise you're the only thing close your eyes and let us fade away build a secret place for you and me and let our minds be caught up
