Kusanali and Rukkhadevata - Chronicles of the Dendro Archons (Genshin Impact Lore)

[Music] hello everyone and welcome to another gen lore video today I'll be going over the history of the two dendro archons greater gravada and lesser Lord kusanali I'll be going over the lore presented in the sumeri weapons series various artifacts and so much more also if you like this video consider subscribing it helps me out a lot and I'd really appreciate it anyways let's move right on and get into the video [Music] um before the archons came to power the entirety of sumeru was a lush and beautiful rainforest however at some point the Divine nails were sent down onto tavat by Celestia one of these Divine Nails landed in what would become known as the desert of hadra mavath and it turned the Lush rainforest into a Barren desert this change also affected the dendro Dragon a pep who lived in the area in response to the change in the environment their body shifted from a lush green color to a yellow that matched the sands some time later a pep would meet King deshret and they would allow him to build his kingdom in the deserts of sumeru now at this time the archon war was being fought all across tavad with the gods battling each other for the seven Divine Thrones in the deserts of sumeru though things were more peaceful while King Dasher was the most powerful God in the nation he still decided to share his throne with greater Lord Ruka devada and Nabu malikatta they became known as the three God Kings and each of them had their own unique views on wisdom the three were great friends and would often debate their views on wisdom together however King deshra was ambitious even going so far as decline a gnosis from Celestia soon enough his ambition would bring an end to this peaceful era now king desha would often discuss his Ambitions with nabumalikata who warned him about the dangers of the path he wanted to go down in the end though she decided to go along with his plans even though it would result in her death around this time she also had a vision of the cataclysm in order to help fight this future disaster she gave Ruka devada a part of herself in the form of a coverina of flowers I'll get more into this coverina later on but for now Ruka devada was tasked with protecting it soon after this though Nabu malikata would die as king descher walked further on the path to forbidden knowledge after nabumalikata's death king deshra would focus more on his goal leading him towards insanity in response Ruka devada left King deshardt's side and traveled to a corner of the desert here she would create the rainforest along with the device to wire the area known as the varuna contraption she would also create many important figures in the rainforest including viagara who was the first Lord of the forest and the arenara for a time things were peaceful once again however King deshot's ambition eventually led to Forbidden Knowledge sweeping across the land bringing plagues and disasters wherever it went seeing this Ruka devada would come to King deshret's Aid and help him stop the disasters she helped the people build temples to suppress the forbidden knowledge as well as aru Village which became the last Bastion of King deshred civilization she would also use a great amount of her power to further suppress the Forbidden Knowledge causing her to regress into a childlike form however this still wasn't enough in the end King Dasher decided to sacrifice himself to put an end to the incident and Save sumeru after his death desperate civilization would fall apart and many would Scramble for power city-states would rise and fall around the desert including gurubad which I talked about in my seven wonders of the Badlands video anyways since both nabumalikata and King deshred had now passed away greater Lord Ruka devada was the only one left of sumeru's three God Kings as such she would likely have obtained the title of dendro archon at this time we aren't told explicitly when she became the archon but with the other two God Kings dead this would be the latest possible time as the dendro archon Ruka devada would eventually reconstruct The Shard of cavrina given to her by nabumalikata she would transform it into the Divine bird submerg who she charged with the guardianship of the border between life and death things would then be at peace once more at least until the cataclysm arrived 500 years ago Abyssal creatures and Forbidden Knowledge poured out of tunigi hollow located in sumeru's girdle of the sands the seven archons would swiftly be summoned to tunigi hollow and conria to fight back against the invading forces and stop the disaster while fighting at tunigi Hollow the lord of emrita the previous hydroarcon was slain by the Abyssal forces after her death her body would transform into a pool of sweet too known as the Amrita greater Lord Ruka devada would then shape the samrita into the Harvest stockm before heading off to save hermansal focusing on the Harvest Stockholm for a bit longer though the massive influx of Abyssal energy began to corrupt the tree causing the appearance of the sign of apaosha upon seeing the sign Samberg would make her destined sacrifice diving into the emerita and shattering her form into countless moats of kavarina the Harvest Stockholm would then be freed of Abyssal corruption in the moats of cavarina would eventually become the Pari I've explained the lore of the Harvest document a separate video though so if you want to know more I recommend checking that out anyways let's get back to Ruka devada and ermensol when Ruka devada reached the massive tree she saw that it was already displaying signs of corruption however having fought against Forbidden Knowledge before with King deshret she was able to greatly suppress the spreading corruption despite all of this though rouka Nevada would soon die as a result of the forbidden knowledge before she died though she created her successor lesser Lord kusanali from the purest branch of Urban Soul she also had a special reason for creating kusanali but I'll talk about that more later in the video anyways after doing all she could do Ruka devada would succumb to the effects of forbidden knowledge and pass away soon after the sages of the academi would find the newly born lesser Lord kusanali however they were disappointed in her as she was not yet as wise as greater Lord Ruka devada they did take her back to sumera though but instead of treating her as an archon they locked her away in the sanctuary of surestana kusanali would be forced to remain in the sanctuary of sarasana for 500 years but she was given hope when the traveler arrived in sumeru she first talked to the traveler through the sub-zerus Festival samsara introducing herself as nahida and she would later use the puppet Catherine to communicate through our conversations with her we learned about her situation but we also found out that the Academia was collaborating with the fatoui to create a new God after a lot of planning with some of our new friends in sumeru we were able to outsmart Azar the grand Sage of the Academia and force him to free nahida with nahida now freed we traveled with her to confront the mechanical guard that the Academia was creating in secret this God turned out to be Scaramouche who had now had a giant robot body built for him by detore while it seemed nearly impossible to beat him at first nahida managed to trick Scaramouche by having the traveler fight him again and again in a samsara this samsara along with the collective knowledge of the people of sumeru allowed the traveler to finally defeat the false god nahida then flew up and took the electronosis which she would then use along with her own dendronosis to extract a Divine knowledge capsule that contained Ruka devada's last memories together the traveler in nahida were now able to enter Ruka devada's Realm Of Consciousness eventually reaching erminsul here Ruka devada would talk to nahida and explain her plan she created nahida so that she could erase rugodavada from ermensol and therefore save to that from forbidden knowledge you see even though Ruka devada was long dead at this point her memory still contained forbidden knowledge since she was also the Avatar of hermansal this Forbidden Knowledge would affect urmancel as well although nahida was hesitant At first she did go through with the plan and erased Ruka devada from Urban Soul this would save sumeru from the effects of forbidden knowledge including the withering zones and elazar however no one would remember Ruka Nevada anymore with the exception of The Traveler they could have told Nikita about Ruka devada but they decided it would be best to keep her existence a secret now sometime later nahida would also save a pep from the effects of forbidden knowledge with the help of the traveler and a few Elemental creatures a Pap had been affected by Forbidden Knowledge when they ate King desert's corpse and obtained his knowledge which was part of their agreement that I mentioned earlier when they were saved from their torments a pep decided not to kill nahito or the other gods choosing to watch from their Resort instead they mailed oath Celestia and their gods but they are still curious to see just how far Humanity will go under the rule of the Heavenly principles anyways that's pretty much it for the history of the dendro archons great alerted and lesser Lord kusanale sumero has such a vast amount of lore and these two are no exception to that although Ruka devada may not be
