Korean Q&A - 니가 [ni-ga] vs. 네가 [ne-ga] - How are they different?

can learn Korean so with the introduction out of the way here are the four questions that I'm going to answer in this video and the first one came in from Georgina Donna so what is the difference between matsuda and Matt Heda so of course you write it as much heat up but you read it as much Tschida so because the pronunciations of these two words are so similar actually a lot of Korean native speakers get these two mixed up all the time and even broadcasters and even actors singers who should know the language fairly well they make mistakes between these two so what are matsuda and Machida so basically both Matsuda and Machida are based on Mata so if you wear a certain piece of clothing if it mata mushi Maho it means it fits you it matches you it fits the size of your body right Mata so that's Mata and also if you're talking about guessing the answer of a quick question or when you are basically guessing and if your answer where guess work was correct that's the correct kind of Mata so this mata is to fit and this model is to be correct so these two matters have two different types of causative forms so matsuda means to make something fit and matte cheetah or Machida a natural pronunciation it means to make something correct okay so much that means to match something so if there are puzzle pieces you match all my truth out and you say much oil check out my choice oil you people say that it includes the speaker but excludes the listener and interestingly there's another term for we or us which is tall he Soto he is used when you're talking to an outsider obvious common question and I've answered the same question in person to many many people but I don't think I've ever actually addressed it in a Q&A video so good question thank you so when you want to say you in casual language Pam Meyer that no okay no and when you want to add the subject marker cup it should be null cup and a lot of young people children they often say that in some regions people say Naga Naga to say you are you do something so you is no and kyster something marker but in standard Korean writing it should be this okay this and the pronunciation is supposed to be something like mega mega versus mega I so you can see the similarities mega like eye and makeup and I'm not even entirely sure whether I am actually representing the sounds correctly so mega and mega since these are so similar people started kind of pronouncing this word or this expression in a different way and people say nikka so in text messages or casual social media posts people actually write Nika Nika but in textbooks or in is drama lines or line books and stones and stuff like that you often see this one mega mega but nobody ever says that in real life if someone was to actually use that people would be confused and they would verify like you mean I or you so people always 100 percent if it's not 100 percent it's 99.999% it's mega in pronunciation and written as mega and the last question came in from Lisa so when you add tap to a verb it becomes like let's do this the answer is partially yes because you don't add tab to a verb you have to conjugate it so you take the verb stem and then add tap and this also only works in casual language which we call combine pun meaning 1/2 so 1/2 language it's shorter so in Palma you can say things like for example if you have the verb mopped up to eat you can drop top so if you drop top what is remaining is the verb stem in those cases so mop is the verb stem and you add half mocked-up so bhakti means let's eat so for example cada is to go so drop top where you have car so how do you say let's go catch up pulled up is to see to look to watch so you drop top where you have pool and you say put up and also to do is ha ha ha de is actually the most versatile Korean verb and you can attach it to many Korean nouns to form new verbs so ha ha ha ha changes to ha ha so again you don't put tack at the end of a verb the whole verb but drop top and then add and this is only Tamil for formal speech polite speech from them and you say ah yo or oh you or yo yo so hey woody go hallo he go tayo things like that and there are other bonus for for Pam
