[Music] okay that's good to see everybody here this morning we're going to get right into the Word of God we've been looking at some stuff especially the last few days and some things been mulling around and this morning actually there the Lord said yep that do that so here we are rearrange everything there we go all right if you will turn your ballast first to first John chapter four and we're gonna go back and forth but we're gonna be mostly in first John during this yep pretty much during this first session first John chapter four and so we're going to look at something in particular and actually as we are doing now we're combining first service with second service so that it's a kind of a continual thing slightly different but still fits together which it should anyway because it's the Word of God amen all the Word of God I ought to fit together so in first John chapter 4 starting in verse 15 it says whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God God dwelleth in him and he in God now since we're going to there's a lot in first John and probably very soon I'm going to be doing entire expositional teaching on 1st John because you're gonna have to kind of take it all together but for times sake we're going kind of right to things so I don't have time to comment on a bunch of individual things there but I do want you to realize first off when it says in verse 15 whosoever shall confess now when we say confess we tend to mean just say it but whenever they said confess in that day it literally meant that whosoever shall not just say it not just confess that Jesus is Lord but actually change their lifestyle to match what they're saying and so they they actually whoever shall live this way talk this way whoever makes Jesus Lord you might say but here they're saying first off the big question was could God have a son that was the question that was going on first John had a lot do the gnostics and what they said and whether Jesus was physically real or not I mean it is amazing how much of the Gnostic viewpoint is actually in Islam today it's if you look look at them together you will see a lot of that because Islam also says that God doesn't have a son so this answers that question right there and so I mean they also try to say that Jesus did not physically down the cross that he just swooned and then he revived later on and everything else so anyway they they twist a lot of things and first John answers most of those things so if you're ever going to do a study of Islam you end up studying first John also it's going to be there now it says here that if you anyone that confesses lives agrees and live as though that they believe that Jesus is the Son of God God dwells in that person now that's just huge right there we have to remember we're pretty used to saying things like well you know I have Jesus in my heart you know Jesus Jesus lives in me things like that in this day the day that this was written that was heretical I mean it was it was enough to get you killed literally and for them to be able to say that and believe it and be able to to recognize it and make that one of the foundational pillars of the faith was huge and it's funny sometimes because we look at things from our point of view today and we don't recognize how they were back then back then it was a much bigger deal even how we do church service today is so much different than it was a hundred years ago and yet we don't always we sometimes look at church service and thing the way it is today is what it always was and believe me today there is much more freedom than there ever has been in the church maybe in some cases too much okay but here he says in verse 16 and we have known and believed the love that God has to us and notice we have known and believed the love you believed the love and we're ready talking with a lot actually this morning we're going to talk about love and fear and we're going to be looking at the two of them but he says that we have believed the love that God has to us then in the last part of that verse God is love and he that dwells in love dwells in God and God in him now again limited time so we don't have time to go into a lot of detail in this but we will and you probably heard me mention this before and we will be talking about it again and detailing it but we have to realize that what most people think is love today is not the love the Bible talks about okay it is totally different matter of fact I couple of years ago I think 2015 we did our annual conference concerning manifesting the love of God and we went into detail on what love is what the love of God is and we showed that love isn't an emotion it's not an intense feeling literally it comes down to an act of the will and to follow through with an action okay so that's that's a real simplistic definition but it's really pretty accurate so here he says God is love and he that dwells in love dwells in God and God in him he's not saying if you walk around with a warm fuzzy feeling that you're dwelling in God that's not what he's talking about he's talking about literally you have to go back and look at what Jesus said and he said if you keep my Commandments then you love me and so we have to realize that love has to do with obedience it has to do with submission it has to do with an act of your will and it is also a constant thing not and a renowned then thing okay and love literally is and listen carefully I just couldn't say it this way love is true love is unconditional now that does not mean and then a lot of people take that and say well then how can God who is love send people to hell and it's very obvious God does not send anyone to hell they send themselves and the reason they send themselves is because they refuse to believe the love of God and because they refused to believe it they refuse to walk in it and because of that and we have to realize even if you go okay not you okay but let's say whoever goes to hell God still loves him people love them right there in hell but his love won't keep them out of hell his love sent Jesus to try to keep them out of hell but they have to receive his love walk in his love continue in his love to stay out of hell is that pretty simple right and again I know it's not and real in-depth but hopefully it gives you the right viewpoint you might say because we have to realize that God is love so he's always loved even when Jesus when he was calling the Pharisees you know hypocrites and serpents and everything else and he called him even child of the devil guess what he was still love so love can even say that right and I'm telling you to go off saying that I'm saying that Jesus was loved and he always demonstrated love but love is not always the way humans tend to think love is right so now then he goes on it says in verse 17 and this is really the the main thing wanting to get to this morning he says herein is our love made perfect or mature full-grown fully understood perfected herein is our love made perfect that we so that we may have boldness in the day of judgment and notice if your love is made perfect you will have boldness in the day of judgment it does not say you will have boldness in the day of judgment if your love is not perfected all right now why will we have boldness in the day of judgment if our love is perfected and why would we not have boldness on that day if our love is not perfected right well that's a lot of what we're gonna talk about this morning both services now first off notice he says that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment now what that tells us first John was written very late in the very first century and because of that it was of course after the resurrection after everything else that had happened Paul had already written really all of his epistles I mean it was literally one of the last letters written and whenever he wrote this we have to realize he was still looking forward to a day of judgment so up to that point there had been no day of judgment right and we know what Jesus did we know what he did on the cross we know at that point basically Satan was judged in the sense and but we also have to realize that here he is saying it there that John is saying that there is a day of judgment coming and if our love for God and in God is perfected mature when I say perfected I don't mean without flaw ok David actually there are several people in the Old Testament the Bible says they walk perfect before God and yet you go back and read their stories and they were anything but perfect as we would think of perfect and so perfect does not mean without flaw what it means is adhering or cleaving tightly to God even with your flaw it means when you recognize your flaw you run to God and get him to fix it right that's just one aspect of it and but I want us to realize that perfect before God does not mean not making mistakes because that's where the enemy gets he really hits a lot of people because we read you know be holy as I am holy saith the Lord and be perfect as that as your heavenly Father as your father in heaven is perfect and then when we mess up we think ah and what are the enemy say oh you'll never get it well you're not even in the running anywhere I look at you you're messed up you've done this you've done that you might as well just quit you'll never be perfect and so you start he starts working on you to get you to back off which is the definition of doubt and so once you start doubting then you just go in that cycle down so the keys to remember here is that perfected love and get this really what it comes down to is we learn we grow up and understand God's love for us that's perfected love right our love is perfected when we understand and walk in start to realize and walk in the fact that God's love for us is perfect right just like it said that Sarah was counted faithful because she counted him faithful who had promised and it's the same thing whenever we start to grow up in God's love and start to recognize how perfect his love is toward us then our love toward him and our love and his love in us is perfected because it's not about us doing it perfect it's about us understanding how perfect he was and is and how perfect he is toward us does that make sense to you I can say I can go around that again if any to okay but I want you to realize that it's not about us being perfect it's about us recognizing how perfect God's love is and once you recognize how perfect God's love is this is one of the amazing things you know even businesses let's go to the business world real quick the business world today is starting to understand some of this and they don't even know what they're doing but they will tell you if you want and all the major corporations and businesses that are innovative and that just as we would say you know they they change the whole playing field right companies like Apple things like that that just all of a sudden they just change everything the reason they can do that is because that company has a culture in the company itself that you can't fail you just you make mistakes you learn from them you pick up you go again sometimes the mistakes actually lead you to a great discovery and so they will tell you if you want an innovative company then you have to create a culture where failure is okay now think about that goes against everything you want to get better allow failure why because if you can't fail you know you're going to but if you're not allowed to then you won't even try and so they tell you give them give your employees the right to fail and if they do learn from it and hopefully don't make the same mistake again God understand that would be a perfect company because if you are allowed to fail there's no failure does that make sense yeah yeah actually sounds like Kingdom talk where everything is the opposite all right if you want to live you got to die and all that okay so it's kind of like that when you start to understand God's love you when we first started 40 years ago the big thing back then and I guess this is really what kind of set the course for us was that everywhere everywhere I went I was raised in a Southern Baptist Church went to Pentecostal churches went to Assemblies of God went to word of faith churches I mean we went to a Pentecostal church of God went to a Missionary Baptist visited a couple times to a Free Will Baptist we'd been around my friend of mine was had once it was going to be a Catholic priest so we he took me to the Catholic Church a couple of times and you know it's just good exercise I mean you just even acosta down up down up that's what you do and so but so I've been in all these kind of different churches right and so look at all these different churches it didn't matter where I went it didn't matter what church I was in every everybody was saying the same thing oh don't you don't want to step out why because you might make a mistake you're making mistake God would be mad you don't wanna make God mad but what did that do it made everybody sit and do nothing and yet there were people in the people I was talking to on a regular basis we didn't do a lot in church but our big deal see we had a church annex it was called jack-in-the-box right whenever church service was over would all go over to Jack in the Box and we would sit there you know sometimes we're like man wish the church there was hurtin get over so we go to Jack in a box and have church because that's pretty much what we did we would go over there and sit there literally usually about from about 8:30 till sometimes 12 midnight and we would just sit there and talking to be about probably about five or six families and with the men and women kind of what we had one end of the Jacqueline box kind of cut off right we put all the kids down that way where there was no door other than the bathrooms and the parents would sit up so that the kids couldn't get past us so we had them kind of corralled right and so the the husbands and the fathers and the mothers and the that why this would all sit there and we would sit there and talk and man we have some of the best theological discussions I've ever had in my life I mean it was good we didn't argue but we would throw up things on purpose you know we all agreed we all believed the same way but we would purposely try to shoot down somebody's argument because we knew if we could do it we knew somebody else would do it so we tried to get it shot down so he could fix it so the next time we said it'd be right and so we would go through all these things well we would go there and discuss this stuff and one of the things that we so we all believed alike and even though we would visit different churches together at times we went to one church but every now and then we'd go to a different and when we would go there even the people in the church that we met that we didn't know but we met her when we visited we would ask him a couple of questions and everybody the big thing and it's funny because we heard the same thing back then we here now know the love of God the love of God you got to walk in love being loved walk in love everything is love I mean it was everything was love and yet say that's what come out of people's mouths but everybody's demeanor everybody's concept of God was fear don't do anything don't do anything wrong you'll mess up if you mess up God will get mad everything was fear and was all fear-based and so we really I kept hearing that and kept hearing that and everybody said you know I said well let's you know here it says heal the sick lay hands on the sick well let's do that oh you know you got to be led you gotta be legs if you're not led you know you're gonna be doing it outside the world of garden do it outside the little God God's gonna get mad and God gets mad you know what I'm gonna worked in it you know well who do you know to lay hands on who do you know not to lay hands on who do you know I mean it was all this stuff back then now it's very clear I mean we've presented it pretty clearly and simply back then though we were figuring this out and the the I guess the biggest thing that bothered me was the fact that everybody was afraid to step out because they were afraid they're gonna make God mad that was the whole thing and everybody oh god is love who God is he's loved he loves us so much he sent Jesus and we love him and and but you know he loves us and he is loved but everything in them was out of fear do nothing you know give a word in church Oh huh I don't want to give a wrong word so nobody did anything and that was the overwhelming thing so they could talk love but they didn't live love and they didn't believe the love do you see the difference they didn't believe the love of God they talked the love of God they didn't believe it because they they always believed that you know the Bible says he is slow to anger they didn't believe that I believe just the opposite nobody Oh anything sets him off you don't know man you make one mistake it's it he's he'll be mad forever and and the Bible even says even if he does get mad he won't keep it long and yet everything who he saw in the churches that I went to said just the opposite and yet everybody could quote the scriptures and it just showed the total disconnect between what was being said and how people were living and that's the sad part whenever you because after a while that becomes a way of living and then it all becomes a facade and then it all becomes a matter of do's and don'ts and and now you're right back you may not be in the law but you're definitely trying to live by a law and the minute you do that you get over into an area where you're trying to assert your own righteousness and now you're moving further from God so the whole key goes back to this that's one this morning you know probably sure maybe even done this at the ten o'clock and just made one service and made it you know an hour and a half long which would be normal and then just make it hunger and Adam both together but look at the scriptures here because he says herein is our love made perfect hearing we're right well he says we have known and believed the love that God has to us god is love and he that dwells in love dwells in God and God in him and when he says he that dwells in love he's not just talking a person walk on it oh I just love everybody I just know he's talking about he that dwells in the love of God because Jesus even said that over in John Heavin talked about he said I continue in my father's love because I always do those things that pleases him so a way of staying in the father's love according to Jesus was do what pleased him and what pleased him and we what pleases God we know what pleases God faith what is our faith faith in the fact that he is good faith in the fact that He is God that God is love and our faith is in him that you know what if you have you're a parent yes you want to raise your children right you want to met you train them so that they live right do right so that you don't have to tell them what to do so that it's ingrained in them to do the right thing and if you do that then you have done a good job as a parent you know is whenever you know that they can go off on their own and they'll make the right choices you know you've been a good parent that you have basically been a good parent now a child if you're truly a good parent a child knows that if they mess up they don't have to hide it they can say I messed up I broke it I'm sorry I broke it I know there may be punishment but I know it'll be just I know you know I know you love me so I know you're not gonna do anything crazy all right yeah you know I broke the vase so you know you're not gonna chop my hand off you know you're gonna make it a spanking or whatever ground or whatever it is but I know it's going to be right why because they know the love you have fun they don't just know that your father they know the love a father so it don't mean it's quite pleasant but it knows that but they know that they can trust you to do what would be in alignment with love and their if you truly teach them what love is they'll know that love isn't always go she wore me you know warm fuzzy feelings and that there is a strength in love and that true love is always doing the right thing right and so it's the same thing with us that we need to realize and that's why I whenever I first started teaching some of the things I teach today man people looked at me like I was a heretic you know step out and cuz I would tell people yeah let's just step out let's just let's go to the mall let's go somewhere let's just go pray for me well what if it's not God's will there's forgiveness you know and and it wasn't like I was being flippant about it it was like you know we always tell everybody there's friggin something come on if a murderer can get forgiven I can get forgiven if I go pray for somebody that God don't want me to pray for if that was possible right but we headed down where we can't do that in it's funny because we didn't balance those things out and we always thought we were you know well when I started preaching this stuff it was amazing because how people would react I mean they I don't if you ever saw the cartoon about the ants here's to the ants when they when the little twig fell in front of them and they he stopped in the screams you know these pictures panics and what do you do now it's just that's the way it was I tell my school pray for the sick what go pray for the sick are you crazy we can't do that why because it's never been done really is that why not to do it well yeah I guess I mean it was you'd be surprised some of the weird answers I got from people I found a diary the other day I've actually found several of them now been going through some boxes and things and from 1997 20 years ago and it talked about some of them just amazing things that had been happening at some of the stuff I'd forgotten about and even prophetic words have been spoken to all kinds of stuff but in it you could tell because even back then I was using terminology that we wouldn't even use today and I started reading through this stuff I'm like wow that means I hadn't switched at that point over to believing this I was still that was still in there and I was still sorting things out and you can see even over the course of a year in the diary of how things changed here in that year 1997 was a big year for us yeah and so we saw a lot of changes whenever I went to Africa for the first time and so there's a lot of things that happen but it all comes back to us believing and and this was really where we're going because I started talking about the love of God and I really got and it's funny because most people didn't hear the love part but what I kept telling them if you love God you'll keep his Commandments which is what the Bible says and yet that's not what people say love is today today love is don't worry about the commandments God will get over it if you don't do you know and it's I'm not saying that he won't in but is walking in the commandments is where it's safe to walk why because that's the path he has laid out but everybody was talking about the love of God but yet they were afraid to keep his commandments because they thought it might not be his will and so when I started saying hey let's actually do what the Bible says just go do it and if God gets mad we'll just point back to Bible said well you you said to do it so we're just doing what the word said and you know if he wants to spank us he can you know and we'll get over it because he's good all right but yet at that time like I said that was almost heretical because nobody nobody was doing that and so the more we talk about it and the more I started looking at the love of God even back then I saw and there was a lot of music out back then too that helped which sounds strange but Christian music back then was so different than it is now and there's some good stuff out now but hold I'm not good stuff but back then we had stuff like Keith green and Don Francisco and who else Steve Camp David Ingalls if you those of you that remember David English and they were mostly scripture songs but they were a lot of the Don Francisco songs were story songs and they always showed the heart of God and so I was always raised my children listen to that stuff and we were listening to it and it helped guide me and honestly if it had not been for some of the Keith green in Don Francisco I think I probably would have fallen prey to the you know the prosperity hyper prosperity gospel what it is that they call it now because it was a lot of the Keith green and Don Francisco that kept me balanced in the area of prosperity and so it really had helped at that time because I was hearing one thing in church and but the music always went back to this you know we've got to reach people we've got to touch lives and it kept me from getting just totally involved in some of that stuff and I realized that God weren't a prosperous but also realize that God was not trying to make us all millionaires and that that was his goal you know that his goal was to you know give us give us wealth so that we could establish his covenant and that it wasn't so we could pile it up and you know stand on anything and it wasn't about what we could get is about what we could do with it and so it helped balance all those things well but again even in that we had to understand the love of God in it why would God want us to prosper so we can reach the nation's it wasn't just so we could have something and so he goes on here and he says hearing as our love made perfect why if we dwell in love we understand God's love we walk in love we dwell in God that we may have boldness in the day of judgment because we know that if we understand his love and we love him because our commandment is to love God with all our heart mind soul and strength and our neighbor as ourselves if we walk in those two Commandments we have absolutely no reason to fear the day of judgement none whatsoever why because no matter what happens if you looked at the day of judgment like this in Corinthians it talks about how people will go through the fire and their works will be some of their works will be burned up you know wood hay and stubble as we as a king James says and it's almost like a blast of fire you'll be standing there with all your stuff this blast of fire is going to come past you and then whatever is left after the blast of fire that's the good stuff right I'm not saying that's how do is I'm just saying that's kind of the visual that scripture presents so I'm trying to just bring it across and if we walk in love we don't have to worry about our works being burned up what because we're walking in love and if we walk in love we're walking in God and God is not going to get burned up amen and that simple so you just walk in God you walk in love now then he says in verse ya hearing as our love made perfect we may have boldness in the day of judgment why because as he is so are we in this world that's why we can have this bonus in the day of judgment why because as he is we are made like unto Him and if we walk in who were made like then we don't have we have nothing to fear about the day of judgment what because as he is so are we in this world right now we can partake of the characteristics of Jesus and the problem is we have those characteristics in us but we're not transformed to where they they represent who we are we should never have to tell a person we're Christian we should never have to tell them and when you walk up to somebody and you said well how how would they know if you just meet them the spirit the Spirit of God literally should have so consumed you that when you walk into their presence they know something is different there should be something with it all of the old artists used to when they would draw pictures of the saints they always drew them you know you start seeing with a halo that halo thing that came way later actually because of a particular thing but really what they usually drew was a glow usually around the person's head and that light would be coming off of them and sometimes it was strange how they would picture because it would almost be like not not horns but like shafts of light coming out of them not coming on them but coming out of them and that was because the Spirit of God soul so overwhelmed them and it's the same thing we started calling that the anointing and we made some kind of big deal out of it but the reality is it's simply the presence of the Spirit of God and that should be such that literally that people could see it it was that way with Moses and he had a glory that faded and now we have a new covenant with a glory that doesn't fade so that same thing should be present with us whether people can see it or whether they can't there's been hundreds of times now when I was preaching that afters people come to me and say why you were preaching I saw this glow around you and it got stronger and while you were preaching and then there's been times people would see angels walk out from behind me and walk up and start whispered in my ear basically while I was preaching and so people can see things like that it's hums but it should be that way with us all the time and especially for the world the world should be able to tell whether we're a Christian or not without us we're in a big old cross or wearing a big old shirt that says something there you know we shouldn't have to do that I'm not say it wrong it's good to have it but I'm saying the world should know there's something different about us and one of the reasons it doesn't is because honestly most Christians don't spend enough time with God communing with him to actually let him emanate from them they're doing just enough to keep their heads above water spiritually themselves let alone enough to let there be such an overflow of the of the abundance of life that it automatically impacts people this is the idea of Peters shadow overshadowing people when they laid people out in the streets it was that idea that was a an understanding they had one no you say what does that got to do with the love of God well I want to go go back because I want to know what your notice it says in verse 18 there now notice this there is no fear in love but perfect love perfected love mature love cast out fear here that the stronger your love the stronger your understanding and maturity of your understanding of God's love for you the more it drives out fear and that that's really what God is today is totally foreign caught that love or fear you can't walk in both now you walk in either love understanding God's love and if you're walking understanding God's love fear won't be there what because the more you understand God's love the further it drives fear away from you and yet most Christians that many as if if not most they talk more fear than they do love you know well I should say they talk love but they demonstrate fear and we have to realize that the more you understand God's love for us that that's one of the things listen I don't I don't come up here and preach every Sunday on the love of God you know that we're known for teaching people how to you know how to heal the sick how to do these things and it's we're very how to orient it at the same time if when I'm preaching how to if someone stopped me and said wait how can you expect that to happen then I would have to go back we may take us a couple of steps but I would go back to well because I know God's love God's love from me I know God's love for the person I'm ministering to and if I didn't know God's love for me I sure wouldn't expect him to use me because I would be looking at all my faults and my failures and all the shortcomings and all that and I would think well sure how could God ever use me but I know his love completely covers all that right me and so I expect that even if I've made a mistake I expect him to overlook that so to speak now you know if I make a mistake I try to apologize to him repent turn make sure I don't do it again but let's say I forget to let's say I haven't you know got that under the blood as we would say the way most people think I would still expect God to heal that person I lay my hands on because I know God loves me but I also know he loves him and I know he loves them enough that if he can just get me in faith then he will use me to heal them even if I've made mistakes why because he's not gonna hold it against them something that he's got against me does that make sense see I know I'm listen okay Paul said one time he said look he said you're making me talk like a man I don't want to talk this way but you're making me talk like a man like a human now and he said so I'm gonna go ahead and say this well that's how I'm talking right now I'm not talking real theological right because we could we'd have to I'd have to go back and say everything just right a certain way you got that I'd have to go back and qualify everything we don't have time for that we don't have time to qualify every statement we make but what I want to get across to you is this trust in the love that God has for you and the more I think about this the more and let me says imagine believing in God's love so much that you're not afraid to step out and try anything that would help its expand the kingdom or help people imagine that imagine and let's take it even further than that because we say well this person and you'll see this in a minute yesterday I was driving and you know God has a way of asking questions that just really mess you up I mean they just really you're like I yeah I don't know what and it just causes you to just freeze for a second and you'll see that the next service when you're out bring it out but I trust God's love for me so it's to the degree that I can look over myself you know that I can get past myself and that I can look at okay well God wants to help this person so you know he's there wanting to help them he needs a physical body to do it I'm there you know forget whatever mistakes I've made and I don't even think about him I just reach out to help a person and because it the reason I can do that is not because I have great faith it's because I believe in his love right but here's the here's the catch believing in his love his great faith that's what great faith is is understanding his love is so great for us that even if we fail and it's amazing we got scriptures for all this I can take it too and give you every scripture but I'm you know hopefully you've heard these scripts before but even if we mess up he can take how we mess up and turn it to work in our favor in there right that's what we always say you know right all things meant to good in that right all things work together for the good we always use that scripture but yet we don't use it in a way that benefits the kingdom we always use it in a way that well you know this turned around this way or that I mean oh well something bad happen I'm sure God's got a reason for it see we use that kind of stuff but we don't use it in a way that benefits the kingdom of God we use it usually to cover some of the sick with meit and to show well you know what God loved us anyway and he did it anyway but really the main point I want to get across today is just simply this trust in God's love for you enough that you will step out that you will that you realize that you cannot fail his love for you we'll keep you from failing just like was it Thomas Edison I hadn't failed I just found 999 times it won't work well there you go right thank God it didn't quit you know we'd have to have the doors open and have candles in here but the reality is he didn't fail he just had another way they wouldn't work well that's why we ought to look at the love of God you know well what I do may not work but God's love is such that I didn't fail I'm just learning and that I can move things differently so that God's love can work through me to help people even if I don't understand everything you know we we think we have to understand everything and we have to have all of our theology down before anything will work if that's true then honestly God is nothing more than a big mind and and he's like the New Agers and people like that to see him is this great energy force that can be manipulated that's not God God is intimately interested in our everyday life everything yes you know he may want thee maybe you're trying to get you know some type of trying to think of something that's you know things that have that impact everyday people you know if you're trying to buy a house right yeah God's interested in that and if you're interested in it he's interested in it maybe he wants you to have it and but if you want it then you can trust in his love to help you get it you understand with sin but at the same time he's also interested in smaller things it doesn't have to be a big thing you know he's not just interested in healing the sick and raising the dead he's interested in your everyday life why because he sent Jesus to die for us not just so that well that person would be of great use in the kingdom there's we should be of great use to the kingdom but if guess the only reason God saved us then even his love wasn't pure and we know his love is pure so he saved us to save us you that so that we can be with him the greatest blessing is not a new house a new car whatever the greatest blessing is being with God and having him in our life because you know you never know how things are gonna go you know just many of the people that the big news this week of course last but we could go tomorrow now with the big massacre in Las Vegas there's people that went to that concert they didn't go in there thinking hey I'll be dead in a couple hours they didn't think that and and you know I don't know who all was there I've heard some stuff I do know there was a some calls made to ministries asking for prayer from the the venue there and so I know that there were people who claim to be Christians that were there and in the middle of that we have to realize that very few people wake up some day going whip you know today's a day I'm gonna check out of here one way or another you know we were just the other day there was a car wreck right here over here on 75 and there was a fatality involved people don't think today's my last day when they wake up and some people say well you know I'm trusting god I'm gonna he's gonna protect me and and he does I can tell you a number of times that he has protect us but you don't know and because of that we have to trust him and we have to be ready to go at any time and so I know you can trust him to keep you safe from sickness and disease safe from harm and their scriptures that give us protection and I see God I see Christians walk in protection I see God protecting people all the time I hear testimonies of it God's protected me and my life many many many times and then you look at other people that believe similar at least according to their words and yet they die prematurely so what's the answer well God doesn't keep his word sure he does you don't know all the details but the main thing is have faith in God and know that his love for you is such that he will protect and you expect him to protect but at the same time we have to live ready not just ready because you might die today that's not the point but to live right with God all the time that's why recently with them oh you know it's gonna be the whatever it is whether you thought it was the end of the world or the rapture was gonna happen or something last month and everybody talked about it and it's amazing because you have these situations come up where people all of a sudden get really excited and they rearrange their life and that in itself is my problem with that what because you shouldn't have to rearrange your life just because you think something's fixing to happen you ought to live right you ought to live the way you would live no matter what whether you got six months six years or 60 years left you ought to live right because the one thing we don't know is when Jesus is coming back and we do know this we're closer to it today than we were yesterday so we ought to always live ready amen but living ready means trusting in his love you will you are either walking in love understand the love of God or fear one of the day and you can always tell about how people talk because people that live in fear oh I'm afraid I'm you know oh I'd be afraid to go I'm afraid I'm not gonna go with that I'm not it's fear is always in their speech but when you realize the love of God and you realize that when you walk in the love of God you cannot fail you may make mistakes the god have to may have to change things to get it right you know to get you the way it's supposed to work out but you didn't fail you're still on the path you're still walking with a guy you only fail when you quit give up and quit walking with God so walk in the perfected love of God understand his love for you part of that is understanding who he is and we're going to talk about that and the ten o'clock services has to do with what he showed me when I was driving had I was amazed I really was and it's so simple so simple but that's usually how he talks to me in piss he comes down to my level and says it's so simple but it's really amazing when we realize who he is and who he wants to be and that has once we understand we're gonna talk about the ten o'clock when we walk in his love to a greater degree affirmative amen [Music] you you
