this program is brought to you by the partners of a rude awakening international help others find truth support a rude awakening international today if you are searching for god how do you know where to find him well we must call on his name yehovah said anywhere my name is remembered i will come to you in episode 5 of guardians of the hebrew gospels dr miles jones explains the eternal importance of keeping jehovah's name in the bible because it's the end of the sixth day the sun is set and this is shabbat night live [Music] as they take this message out into the world [Music] hey shabbat shalom torah fans welcome to shabbat night live with michael rood i'm your host scott laird and please welcome my co-host our partner services and ministry development guru david robinson hey david hey buddy shabbat shalom hey shabbat shalom you know what it's hanukkah it's finally hanukkah right now yes indeed right now and that's why okay first things first uh everybody uses hanukkah to give gifts and so michael is giving you a gift everyone out there he is giving a two-part hanukkah love gift teaching on the app only we've never done this before usually the love gifts are reserved for love gifts but michael said you know what this is hanukkah i want something special he did this two-part uh hanukkah teaching back in december 2016 and january 2017 for the love gift program we're going to put it up on the app and the app only the michaelroo.tv app it will be there only for the duration of hanukkah which means it is gone next friday i think david you have the titles there right uh fighting for the truth and shining uh light and darkness yeah so it's a two-part thing it's sort of like the the physical part of hanukkah mixed with the uh the future sort of what hanukkah represents and hanukkah does have a prophetic meaning believe it or not and michael explains it so well in that second part so uh that is coming up but actually no it's right now it's uh through next friday i just started yesterday and also we have the love gift speaking of love gifts we have a love gift catch up uh we have all 60 titles from 2016 to 2020. you can get them now only through december and it's the same donation as it was when they first came out fifty dollars yeah and they are flying off the shelves in fact we're having to duplicate more and more each and every day so really wow yeah it's going really good that's amazing now speaking of gifts uh michael has prepared something special for us tonight uh before he had a stroke he recorded this um and just to have us put out there this is michael telling you why he makes these love gift teachings people say why do you make these special things that you have to buy why don't you just put it on youtube here is michael explaining why he does love gifts and why it is literally a gift to you from his heart take a look i recall deuteronomy chapter 18. it says that [Applause] before the whole thing is stipulated about the prophet that we must shaman it says the levites the levites their inheritance in the land is the tithe they get a tithe and this is their inheritance they are the ministers they get to minister to the people and this is their provision that they get a tenth they get a tithe they don't get to own any land but there is land set aside for their use in all the time that they're alive that they get to live in this area they get to live in these houses they're wise and their children they get to be raised in this community of levites and they're they're taken care of with the tithe and and if they want to go out in and preach in the cities of israel they want to go up north then they're going to be taken care of by patrons they're patronage they're going to be taken care of by patrons who say we want to help you please come to our community we'll take care of you and we'll we'll we'll give a tithe to you to to make sure you're taken care of and so they get to live out the patronage of where they are but if they want to go back to jerusalem you go back for the feast or go back and minister in jerusalem they're welcome to come back and to live in the in the area for the priest and they get a tithe uh when they come back and so their provision is there so those who yeshua ministered to yeshua was not a priest of the levitical priesthood he was not a priest of aaronic priesthood he was of the tribe of judah but he was and is forever the high priest after the order of the male exodus a priesthood that precedes and supersedes the aaronic priesthood yeshua ministered and he was taken care of and this is how we run the ministry today is that those who have been blessed those who are patrons those who are ambassadors we we call them that they give every month they are the ones that allow us to get the word out to the world and they're the ones that they keep the lights on they keep our families fed and you know more and more of our staff are are having babies and having more babies and it's like you know this is the next generation that is growing up and and uh the next generation of translators and uh are on their way up now and i want to thank you for being a part of this ministry for helping me to help you and to help reach out around the world and i'm doing this these teachings because i want you to have the ammunition i want your heart to be on fire i want you to understand these things from beginning to end i want you to to to get the the chronological gospels and to read it read it through and to think this whole thing through over and over and over again ladies and gentlemen because i want you to love to tell the story because there are very few that are out there telling the story as i mentioned before i have never met a christian pastor in my life that knew the story they couldn't tell it learn it so that you can tell it in five minutes in five hours in five days and five years learn it learn everything yeshua did everything he said really think it through and really let the movie play out in your mind and this has been my privilege to to be with you and to do this love gift because i is my way of expressing my love and appreciation for you and i know that you get more out of it than than anyone out there this is why we don't put it on youtube it's not out there for the the for the morass for the masses to deride and ridicule and say oh you know you know all the whining and complaining that they do because i don't do it their way i'm not here for them i'm here for you and i'm here for yeshua and i hope that one day i get to hear the words good job all right so there we go david that is why michael does love gift teachings and you can tell this is really important to him and so that's why we always want to encourage people to get on the love gift program and all they have to do is go to monthlylovegift.com and david i want to thank you for always picking out the beautiful gifts that go along with michael's teachings i enjoy doing it it's been a challenge in 2020 but that's a lot of fun doing that indeed when stuff is made overseas it's hard to get it here right that's plenty of surprises all right all right well thanks for joining us today david really appreciate it great to be here all right well hey if you're searching for god do you know where to find him we must call on his name he brought forth bread and wine it says that the male exotic blessed the most high and that prayer is still remembered and is what yeshua said when he blessed the most high the night of the last supper the night before the passover lambs were slain yeshua said baruch yehovah elohim homozylekam me ahretz this broken bread represents my broken body my body which is broken for you by my stripes you are healed do this as often as you do this in remembrance of me and then he took the cuff in the words of the melex zardik he blessed the most high baruch yehovah ella no malachalam beret pre hagofen blessed are you yehovah our god king of the universe creator of the fruit of the vine and yeshua said this represents and is represented from the time of abraham the renewed covenant my blood will purchase for you as often as you do it do it in remembrance of me shabbat shalom [Music] when last we spoke we said that well we have more than we thought to talk about with uh hebrew linguist uh historical linguist dr miles jones welcome back to the program sure i'm glad to be here you know i i we were talking before the cameras came on we're trying to uh bring about this what do we do next with the authentication of the hebrew gospels and i brought out the fact that well i'm from canada and when i was in canada we learned about canadian history and we learned about american history but it wasn't until i moved down to the united states that i realized that what we learned about american history in canada was missing some things i got the basic idea but we were missing some things and once i got down here i had a better canadian it did have canadian lens on it and you know even just subtle things like uh we would call uh vacation days up in canada holidays well if you call holidays that down here you're talking about uh christmas you're talking about thanksgiving but their holidays meant your vacation time that you took off so even just the vernacular differences um and we get the same idea or the same problem that's a good point yes the greek scribes they didn't know anything about the hebrew feast days right it's very typical for them to make mistakes so how can exactly how can we look through the bible through a greek lens when it's a hebrew document right and when the greeks were ignorant of so much of of the hebrew perspective so once we have we've been talking all all about the authentication of the hebrew gospels as you so eloquently put it yeah so once we have authenticated this we say okay here are where these manuscripts came from here where these came from here are the differences there's why it matters we've covered four episodes as to why that matters so i mean where do we go from here someone says okay great i've been sitting in church i knew it all along you're right now i what do i do with this well see our our audience has been called you know and probably many of our viewers are are recent perhaps to hebraic roots and we all remember what it's like to feel that calling you know you want to get into your hair be brick roots you may even leave the mainstream church or the denomination you're in although that's not required but you i'm being called to this but what is this what do i do to what yeah what's different yeah what does it mean to be you know to to search out the hebraic roots of your faith and what but the first thing is you have to see the fountainhead of the authentic gospels the hebrew gospels you have to believe in its authenticity or nothing that's in it matters you know what i mean but now that we have gotten down that road believe me folks there is more detail on it and i would i advise you to get the book sons of uh zion versus sons of greek now by the way where can we get that that's your book so we're where can we get them writing of god.com the writing of god or just writing of god writing of god.com okay very good uh are the writing of god.com either one oh okay i own both domain names but um you know you can you can of course it's published you can get it on amazon or whatever but if you if you purchase it through our website we make three times as much for our ministry that's a marketing thing that's important for you right it doesn't cost it doesn't cost the purchaser anymore but we make three times as much for our ministry and also we can then send people research updates on this important research on the hebrew so what kind of things will people find in the book i know you've got something called up on your screen there that we're going to talk about in a minute but so where do people go with this when you when they get your book and they say okay well where do i go from here what do i do yeah it it well it's uh the you know the book talks about this you know that this cultural standoff between the hebrew worldview and the greek one which has been basically a fight for cultural supremacy for thousands of years now these are the two most ancient literate cultures when i say literate the egyptians were literate but this only the describes it was with the hebrews and the greeks that universal literacy became the norm and this was commanded from mount sinai by yehovah himself so this is this is the the very root the origin of universal literacy the very idea that everyone should know how to read and know how to read the word right because they were supposed to write the word on their doors these are commandments straight from mount sinai and you know moses was chosen you know because he would teach this you know so they were commanded to read it and to write it and to teach it to their children diligently so that's where the command of homeschool comes from so you know there's nothing in the bible about turning your children over to government schools right at least i haven't found it well and that's a great that's a greek thing too is it not it is a great thing there's nothing in there about turning them over to religious schools either but that is you know one of the areas in which you know schools and synagogues churches and synagogues uh have provided education every church every church should be set up so it can also be a school really this is this is the word that we're getting now because if you i mean if you trust your children in the government schools you're likely to get back children from university that you don't even recognize right so this is one of the really important things that we're dealing with right now uh the the the havoc that the university system has created by being taken over by uh far left groups right so now now universities and and schools regular public schools are places of indoctrination rather than education so that's that's a current thing that's just so pointed that we need to understand today but the question is what do we what do we do what does it mean to be searching for the hebraic roots of our faith well i find that there are three levels you know things that really are the most important to realize and the first is you know just ask yourself what is the most important word in the bible well we just established that it's his name yehovah yes it is his name we don't have to guess about this it says it it says it that uh you have magnified your name this is psalms 138 i believe verse two uh so it says you have magnified your word above all your name so that that answers the question what's the most important word in the bible the sacred name of god is mentioned is cited almost 7 000 times in the old testament almost 7 000 times and many of these are commands how you should treat the sacred name all right now you and i i think discussed that and you'd seen this that in the earliest fragments of the septuagint the greek old testament that we have uh the name of god is actually written in the the hebrew characters greek and then and then just all of a sudden there's a hebrew letter hebrew word that sticks out of nowhere if you see it you know it yeah you say that's different well even the dead sea scrolls had the name of god written in the ancient ancient hebrew uh you know script that had developed from that that was at sinai you know so that's important but see since then we have completely erased the name of god from the new testament even in quotations from the old testament you know and by now we've completely erased the name of god from the entire bible most people's bibles do not even have a symbolic representation of that one time yeah you know that's all been eliminated and this is an enormous abomination if you understand what god said you know because he there's there's plenty it's not like there's not plenty of guidance on how to treat this word you know it says blessed are those who know the joyful sound of yahuwah okay that that's referring to the very pronunciation of the name is it not yes if you know the joyful sound if you know the sound if you can pronounce the name you're blessed you never hear this stuff from the pulpit because since we've eliminated the name we're going to ignore all those blessings that come he says where my name is remembered i will come to you and i'll be with you he's talking about a group now any any group of people that remembers his name he will come there and he will bless them i don't know about you but whenever god is handing out blessings i want to be first in line yeah really i mean i really feel that way i want to be first in line over here yeah i don't remember your name i'll do it and people might say well okay well why does it matter you know god jehovah yahweh adonai hashem and i'm thinking well you know there are some even physiological reasons for this and you know uh there's other experts out there who say that you know that the hebrew language specifically you know everything in the world has vibrations everything is created through vibrations and everything reacts through vibrations this table has vibrations our bodies have vibrations the air etc and when you speak hebrew like yehovah that has a creative force so when the bible literally says that he created the world when he spoke that's real he spoke it into existence yes that so that that means that that's something that you don't get physiologically real amazing he spoke the world into right into existence so you look into that then with the speaking of yehovah and you're thinking well what's what's the magic well the magic so to speak is the hebrew language it's the i believe it to be and i don't know if you as well that i believe to be the original language i do too i think it just has to be and through that just for what hebrew does and you look at the vibrations of what the hebrew pronunciations do it seems obvious to me but um but but with hebrew if you look at the name of jehovah and you look at okay well why is hebrew so special you automatically start looking into his word and then you start seeking him just by going what's so special about that's a good point and conversely if you ignore his name which is cited almost seven thousand times and many of those hundreds if not thousands of those mentions are commands how to worship his name how to treat his name to shout it out to swear by it to sing it to say it you know to use it in blessing others to call out to his name in the in when you're in in trouble and he will rescue you right but if you don't know his name is charlie good enough right yeah i mean can we just change it and like i said in our greater spiritual wisdom after thousands of years of religion we know better we can just change his name right right okay the name got changed because they created a greek church and they needed a greek god a greek jesus a greek liturgy and greek scripture and they did that and in the process of creating this new church they did things and they did them specifically to differentiate themselves from the messianic and judaic church which they were divorcing themselves from people forget that the entire brit hadashah the the renewed covenant called the new testament of course was done when the nazarene church of the messiah that the messiah himself had created was a part of judaism it was an accepted sect of judaism we were all all christians were were jews right we're part of judaism right right and we are we are grafted in to the family of abraham by our belief in yeshua as the son of god what god right yeah right right but when it becomes a greek church that god becomes a greek god it's a different thing isn't it it's just like we the word well it's it's a different thing it is a different thing but the point is god didn't give us permission to change his name in fact he said exactly the opposite what were you saying i'm sorry what goes right along with what you were saying how i mentioned earlier that i was canadian originally so if i am from canada therefore i am a canadian right if i um if i am of christ let's just take the english word even i am a christian a christian christian so i shall not take his name in vain so i shall not call myself by his name just as as a woman take takes a man's name when they get married in order not to embarrass the family she's not going to act inappropriately because she is of that name so that would be taking the name in vain just as we are the bride of yeshua if we take his if we embarrass him we are taking that name in vain and so we we have to take the name seriously uh that's why we have to take the name that's a critically important point i mean the third commandment you shall not take the name of god in vain now remember in this in the third commandment it specifically uses the name all right so you but this is where knowing hebrew can give you a deeper insight into it the word used was shove which means to nothing or not right and so what they're really saying destruction waste so what they're really saying is the correct translation of it is do not make the name of god not which basically is the hebrew way of saying do not erase the name of god and that's exactly what we've done we've taken it to nothing and then means to nothing or not that's what it means and it's been it's used 18 times in the old testament in every single instance you can substitute in vein you can substitute to nothing or not there and it does not change the meaning so does that when to take it to not does that mean just to ignore it or does that mean to trash it or either or it means to make it disappear disappear okay you should not make the name of god nothing you should not make the name of god nothing to destruction to waste to totally remove it and erase it which is what we do we say even when we think we're being all high and mighty when we become messianic or establish our hebrew roots we realize that oh the jews say hashem out of respect we've taken the name out and we're just saying because hashem means the name yes it does i mean it's become a fetish now you see and they didn't do it out of respect and this is the thing we need to understand neither did the christians do it out of respect they did it because the name of god was forbidden to them because the the jews were very stubborn people and they had rebelled so many times right that starting with the greeks the greeks tried to prohibit the name that didn't work the jewish people rebelled again in what was called the maccabean war and they literally destroyed with the help of god's archangels he sent those archangels to fight beside them the sin maccabees in the in the hanukkah that you talked about yes right and hanukkah the the hanukkah festival came from that because the greeks had had uh desecrated the the temple and so once they regained the temple they cleared it out and re-sanctified it and had the feast of dedication and that's why people need to get an apocrypha somewhere if it's not in your bible like jerusalem you can get a catholic bible it's in the catholic bible and you can get them very easy and strangely enough so that's online you can actually get the 1611 king james version online for free and it has the the apocrypha in it that'd be very difficult to read that wouldn't i mean it's all very uh it's spelled it's a little bit uncomfortable yeah but it's free but we talked about we talked about the third commandment this is important because we i know i've mentioned before that the the thing that is so damaging to the church and to believers is that we have created a greek church and we are the inheritors of the greek church and it became the latin church but basically the greek tradition is the western tradition where we've created a church that is fundamentally schizophrenic in its nature it has these two different perspectives on on the messiah there is a hebrew messiah that supports torah right and then you've got a greek archetype a greek jesus that does away with with the law right these are not compatible now i'm not saying that jesus and yeshua are not the same person they are the same person i'm saying the perspective that you look through has been twisted and i'm not blaming it all in the greeks you know the hebrews after all they bought into this thing about the name of god being forbidden right right but the reason it was forbidden is because the romans were much more brutal than the greeks which is even hard to imagine but um they you know destroyed the temple in in the the war of the 70s 68 to 70 they destroyed the temple and then the jews revolted again a couple more times several more times a lot of little rebellions you don't know about that nonetheless cost thousands of lives the lives of thousands of roman soldiers to put down but another big one came in 135 a.d when um and this time rome came into israel and they wiped the entire city of jerusalem to the ground not only did they rise the city they sprinkled salt over the grounds where nothing would grow oh didn't know that and they forbid the practice of judaism and they forbid saying the sacred name of god itself i think it's pretty clear they were trying to wipe them out in a century and a half of roman war against israel they killed the same percentage of jews population of jews worldwide as were killed in the holocaust the same the same proportion yeah yeah not the scene per capita but they killed they slaughtered literally about a million and a half jews during the period of those revolts from the maccabean war to the to the uh the war that destroyed the temple in jerusalem to the one that destroyed the entire city of jerusalem and there are much more smaller revolts you know that you know you'd have to be a historian to know about so many they were called the messianic wars because every time it would happen they would they would acclaim then the new leader of the revolt barkhakshiva for example they would claim him as the the messiah and of course when they failed they couldn't be the messiah because the messiah would of course have won right but these were called messianic wars and this is why rome was so terrified of this new religion because they felt like it would spread rebellion throughout the empire all right so this is one reason why there was so much persecution of the early church and it is also a reason why the greeks wanted to get out from under this sense that they were part of the judaic church that was one very strong impetus for them to create the greek church and get away from it okay so yeah it does make sense that doesn't mean it was the right thing to do right because they were no longer holding to the truth in fact they were they were literally divorcing themselves from the messianic church itself the very church that was created by the messiah and they became heretics by the fourth century they were declared heretics well this is why it's important now we have two other levels or things to talk about here we're going to get to that in a second uh so we are talking about authenticating the hebrew gospels and the importance of the name obviously and why uh it's so critical and i hope you've gathered some information as i have from miles right now and so we are going to take a break just for a second here and give you an opportunity to support this ministry we've already uh given you a way to get miles booked and we encourage you to do that we encourage you to support this ministry as well so we can continue bringing miles back so he can talk about these type of things we want to thank you for your support up front and we're going to give you just a couple minutes to pray about that and we'll be back in just a second with some more [Laughter] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] thank you for your support of shabbat night live i don't know about you but i don't have an entirely hebrew bible in my house i have english bibles in my house and dr miles jones what do we do when we have an a hebrew culture with hebrew names and a hebrew bible we translate it over to english because you know when someone comes over here to the united states from uh from china let's say and they want to fit in with the culture and they want to be accepted sometimes they will take their own name and they will change it so instead of being whatever it was in china be like jim or grant or something in the united states so it would seem logical wouldn't it that when people are translating the bible that they would try well it's not jehovah it's well let's just call him god easier for everybody call him lord yeah what's wrong with that well you know that's that's a really natural thing and obviously there are cultural changes that happen that's the acculturation principle and it does and the gospels are no exception to it they they do when you look at them through the the filter of another language it does end up you know shaping your perception of it and it ends up in scribes making changes in in the bible for some reasons so it it really seems like a perfectly natural thing i'm sure many people think well that's no big deal right and you know that the name was changed to something that's more appropriate in greek or in english right the name of god and i can totally understand that i can i really really can here's the here's the point though it doesn't matter what i think it matters what jehovah thinks and we have a very clear description of what he thinks about his name and how he wants us to treat his name i mean it's literally mentioned in thousands of places in the bible that you shall shout it out you shall declare my name you know that there's there's power in the very name of jehovah that you're blessed just for knowing how to pronounce it and contrary to other people's views it was never forgotten by the by the the hebrews how to pronounce the name in hebrew now to the rank and file many of them might not know that but certainly the people that had studied at all because it's mentioned in the hebrew literature nehemiah gordon did a great job of researching this oh it's still there's thousands now places where the the hebrew nikuda are there the the points about pointing and correct and they are also in messianic manuscripts that we have of the hebrew gospels which is clear proof and we talked about that the hazel manuscript is one of them that's sloan 573 in the sloan collection the british museum and that uses the name of god with the correct thou pointing at the hebrew gospel that uses it we also have the uh the newest one we found that we talked about there's only four pages obviously from a complete hebrew gospel very exciting because it's a new one from another source that we haven't seen before it also uses the name of god with the complete vowel points and it threw out throughout this these are messianic documents so some of them followed the jewish conventions because you know they're trained that way they're trained as as hebrew scribes and then perhaps whether they converted or whether they already were a messianic they still were trained through the jewish scribal system and education system so but we know that psalm did some methane groups and scribes did use the the name of god with the proper vowel pointing and some didn't some would use hashem for example the hebrew gospels from catalonia would use the conventions hashem and adonai etc but you know this is that's a really important point to know that that is but by by uh you know what what what nemia gordon did is he found it in thousands and his very diligent researcher t-bone they found it in thousands of places literally literally literally thousands of places but what people don't know is that really by about 1600 or so it started to become the common way to to write and print the name god with the correct vowel pointing so after that point you have huge numbers of publications you know this is the printing press which 1458 took about a hundred and fifty years or so to really take you know root everywhere across the world but by 1600 the the ban on on you know using the only scripture only be written in latin was totally destroyed by the printing press you know and language and the scripture began to be written in every language in the world and incl including hebrew and so it's very very common it became very common by that point for the name of god to be written with the correct thou pointing so it was never forgotten i mean one thing nehemiah said to me once is that he had never never met a rabbi who thought the name of god was yahweh that is purely a christian a gentile christian invention and you i actually researched that and but i you know once i got into working with nahimia it was like obvious that that was a gentile invention because when you go to the hebrew source material it's clear they never forgot the name of god the name of god is jehovah right with the the accent on the last syllable and the first one the first letter is a y not a j the j is the german pronunciation of y that's why it got written that way but it's not jehovah it's jehovah right just as john here uh is johan in germany [Music] for jehovah and hebrew and yakov which is jacob really that was the name that was the actual name of yeshua's brother gets changed to james which is a dimensionally diminutive that we use for jacob sometimes i'm assuming jude was yehuda or yeah yeah yeah also but however like i said it it's natural to think that but it really doesn't matter what i think and doesn't matter what you think right it doesn't matter what you think it matters what jehovah thinks and he's very clear on this point that you know we use that name to call out to him for salvation to be saved in the end times or any other time that he blesses those groups that remember his name this is a blessing it's in the bible any place where my name is remembered i will come to you wow what a blessing i mean come on all of us have searched for god right what do you do in our your search for god where is he how do you find him just know his name pray using his name and he will come to you yeah i mean really the search for god is a big thing even among believers is is that you know they they they lose that sense of grace that they had and they're trying to find a connection with god again he tells you how to find a connection with him right so and he'll come to you and he says he'll come to you and bless you there it's another one of those blessings that's cast aside because we have cast the side the name of god so all the blessings go with it you know you'll be blessed blessed are those who know the joyful sound of yehovah when you translate that blessed are those who know the joyful sound of the lord you totally lose the meaning of it which is that there's talking about the specific pronunciation of the name right and this was some i'm sorry no i'm just going to say another analogy was like trying to dial 9-1-1 and you dial 8-1-1 well you're not going to get the you're not going to get the ambulance coming to your house you're going to get some guys looking for the cables underneath the ground so you can dig in your yard if you dial 8-1-1 no right it's the same thing with uh you know we've we decided that we can change the commandments yeah same thing right right it's the same thing in our greater spiritual wisdom than god's of course we can deserve the that's what i mean about the schizophrenic church is that they've got this mindset that it's okay for them to toy with scripture and to change things well i got i have to appeal to you you you can't do that there certainly are things that have been abrogated you know yeshua made the sacrifice for our sins to atone for our sins we do not have to sacrifice any animals we are the living sacrifice right when we give ourselves to our savior we are the living sacrifice animals were a temporary atonement anyway for like a year at a time we don't have to do that there are ceremonial things that had to do with the temple the temple is gone a lot of those are abrogated but that doesn't mean you can just change anything you want in the old testament and we change the commandments we change the name of god and that's the excuse people use is that is that because oh well you you messianics you're picking and choosing no we're not picking cheese speaking of the truth we're not exactly we're not picking and choosing because if there was a temple standing that'd be a different issue then we'd be talking about different things here but because there is no temple all like you said all those other all the commandments everything to do with a priesthood and a temple are basically on hold for now but that the commandments didn't go anywhere so all we're still tied to those but if if the the peace that we need to complete the commandment is not there well obviously you can't do it so yeah so let's head to the news not picking and choosing that you're still there if you don't know the name of god now god has trumped satan by accepting people that really believe in him whatever name they're using all right you know but that doesn't mean he doesn't want you to know his real name and there are not blessings and power that associated with that act and it's totally clear in scripture i mean it's a study in itself you can i could write a book just on that i'd like to i'd like to do a a really deeper study of the name of god but just let me let me tell you one thing is what how did yeshua treat the name of god remember it's been said that it's been said that uh that hebrew is a dead language that's been said which is totally false dead sea scrolls proved that was totally false by the even the second century people were still writing all hundreds of documents all written almost all of them written in in hebrew but yeshua himself said and this is another thing that's totally ignored you probably you may have never heard this from the pulpit in the in the mainstream church but these you know there's so much prophecy involved in the new testament like psalm 22 22 i will declare your name to my brethren right that's that's prophetic all right so this is what yeshua is referring to and and we're talking about john 17 26 um in john 17 chapter 17 17 6 yeshua said i have manifested your name unto the men you have given to me and to the apostles he's talking about the apostles that that he had been they were marked by yehovah yeshua didn't pick them he was led to them by his father i have manifested your name unto these men through your own name keep those whom you have given to me so they are marked with his name and they're blessed by his name and they are protected by his name that's what yeshua is saying and he says in john 17 26 i have declared unto them your name and i will declare it because does that erase any questions you might have had about what yeshua thought about the name so this is this is the weak link in drink in greek primacy of the bible and as refers to the name of god is that yeshua would never have quoted from the greek septuagint to the people and that's a claim that they make that's one of the myths one of the spins i've heard that spin yeah yeah he would never done that he would never have used a greek name in replay in place of the sacred name of god he would never have done that and this makes it so clear that it was important to jehovah that his son declared his name but however modern christians in our greater spiritual wisdom have decided that we can do away with that commandment just like we can do away with the commandment to honor the sabbath day just like we do away with even those in the commandment to honor the feast days and we can replace them with pagan feast days so you know this is what i'm talking about it creates a schizophrenic church it does yeah where you're looking you're thinking we've got two voices going on here one is a biblical voice another one is this voice that it's okay for us to change the sabbath day you know it's in the commandments but still it's it's okay it's okay for us to change the name of god you shall not put anything before your god that clearly means you shouldn't put the name of another god in my place right right so we can change the way yeah yeah the first commandment and then the third commandment should not take the name of the of jehovah it's what it says in in in the scripture right but we change it to the lord if people only realize that because i think if anyone has a half a brain in their head they know that not all is fulfilled that comes in revelation there's still some to be fulfilled not a jot or a tittle yeah she'll she'll be taken until all is fulfilled right well he's upholding torah by changing his name we are changing a much more than a jot and a tittle yeah so we are already transgressing that just by changing his name and i think maybe that is the most basic thing people need to understand well you know here's here's something people do need to understand there is no problem when you use a title for for god for our father you know that that's not sinful but it is sinful to forget his name and eliminate his name to be blotted out and to be blotted out in the bible is a serious irreversible thing yeah it is this is uh as far as i'm concerned this is the greatest abomination ever committed you have taken god's name his real name off of the contract think of the the sinai covenant as a contract you have taken his name off the contract if you did that in a legal contract today you'd go to prison for it oh right but that i think the spiritual consequences are are far deeper there's nothing wrong with calling god lord or god or or adonai or hashem that this is not sinful but forgetting the name of god or saying it doesn't exist it never existed you're saying it's okay to change the commandments because we know better now right which is what we've literally done with those commandments that is not okay so we know what yeshua says but we talked about i think we opened this talking about uh um how it seems natural for foreigners to to change the name you know it and it does seem natural that doesn't mean it's it's right it was by the the fourth century when constantine really divorced you know the the church the greek church from uh um from the messianic church and the judaic church because he definitely divorces from the messianic church he cut the ties it was divorced and then they became they became heretics and using the hebrew name of god literally became a sin that was punishable by death to use the sacred name of god branded you as a judaizer and the penalty for judaizing was death constantine was very anti-semitic you'd have to look to hitler to find someone as strongly anti-semitic as as constantine was and he took this divorce and he also declared the new pagan festivals in place of the in place of the the hebraic festivals so he he was not he's a saint in the in the eastern church in the greek orthodox church but that was that was part an important part that's why the thing got changed it got changed and the rest of us are just living with the legacy of that and really you don't really question it but once you get into hebraic roots you once you see these things it stands out like a sore thumb like a neon line yeah that's right it is mentioned thousands of times i would really challenge you every viewer here make a study of the name of god you've got a concordance it will tell you every incident of the name of god in the in the old testament it has been completely wiped from the new testament but you will know you'll be able to look through those just from the concordance and you'll see all the commandments to use the name to worship the name to declare the name it's there and we talked about we talked about it being okay for foreigners well you know that's covered in the bible too in isaiah 56 6 it says also the sons of foreigners join themselves to yehovah to serve him and to love the name jehovah so we are not exempt biblically from worshiping the name of jehovah for remembering it and we're we are we are open we are eligible for any of those blessings that are offered in scripture that have to do with the name because we've been grafted into the the family of abraham and equal to anyone else equal to anyone else and when we remember the name and honor the name and worship the name especially in our group and ourselves in our own home or in our group god will come to us and bless us and one thing i do know is that god's promises are forever and they will be kept so if you want to be blessed by your father by jehovah then learn to worship his name and use his name use it in prayer use it in discussion with others it's not sinful to use another name for god don't think that don't go there but to to use his name has a special power and you will you will feel that he promises you that you will feel that he promises you just knowing the name now we covered this i covered this you know there's a segment the end of chapter four and the sons of zion versus the sons of greece and it covers this adequately for a start but i think a much deeper study of the name needs to be done you don't do this you don't see this from the pulpit of a mainstream church you just don't hear this kind of thing you don't do a study of the name of god in the mainstream church right right that's good we did it here today it is good that we did here or at least touched on it you know so there's there's i just wanted to say one last thing sure go ahead is that uh you know it it really isn't mine i'm not privileged to know what jehovah's judgment on either christians are or are the are the jews i don't really know what how he's going to judge them in the final judgment but there's one thing that i do know and i know it's so deep in my bones it is absolutely unshakable there will be a judgment thank you miles thank you for joining us today you know
