[Music] hello remember last video I made this box fall and this jig now today as I promised someone to cover what's inside which is the kitchen door hinge cutting jig first-world a jig plate and that's a harbor of it and then we've got a fallen a bit which is recite needy policing geez there is variations to that also we've got a collar which is used and for the stocks and some spare components and just put this away for now and then we need to look at what we've got you see here these blocks are put on here I'll show you what they're pauletta and first let's look at assembly and the harbour I'll see force a bit in it and the collar on we just tighten you'll find the allen key underneath the base there just tighten that and and that just basically stops the poor thing a bit going in any deeper than necessary so make sure that's reasonably tight and then the harder just goes on please base just sits on and twist and you can't come off and they twist it off but as you can see that gives you a good stop the depth of it and then we'll put it into the drill now I did use it on a battery door before that time I found that Lee's run out too quick with such a a size are you doing a lot of injuries then probably best if you got one available stick it in electric drill okay next we need a door right now these bits we got to hold on there there stops designed for setting the size of the space of the inch where it's gonna go from the edge of the door but for some reason yeah I've done a lot of Chinese measurements are but they don't work with ours and it turned out that the entire jig needed to be set so I'll put this box on the edge and it puts an exactly perfect where we're gonna be so if you're gonna do standard cabinets then put a screw block on the end of it and you'll find it will position your perfect right so the first thing we do is say it well want it to be and just clamp it into place now there is slight adjustment from bringing it from the edge then as you'll see on the little black things inside I haven't Illustrated this but if you've got one in your hand you'll see it it's quite straightforward then we just an attach the harbor and away we go now when you're drilling this down keep an even pressure make sure you keep it straight if it gets any wobble on it you can't have some lien on the Inge and that'll mean part of you is still protruding so when you finish with other look and make sure that it is Square to the door then onto the other end too using the other screw block sets it nice and positioned for it and plant that when it's place and then again with the harbor just attach it in its reasonably quick even pressure as i say i keeping square you don't want to burn it should open it too fast I truly don't like that it clears all the dead reamped and then when you're finished it's good to before you touch the edge clean out all the dirt from inside the Angels and then we need some hinges these are quite nice things that we've got here they're soft close ones pest each set so you can see a little bit a bit quality to it you can see it fits in there now with these with all injuries you got little screws there they need to go in and the jig does actually provide pilot all species for them and a drill bit for it as well so you can do it but there they not point I go to the point for it at the end of the day they are self tapping screws that you get and it's very easy to just pop them in with a power driver man I'm sure you all know exactly what I mean by that had me drop right let's have a closer look at listen if you want me no pilot all just gentle pressure keep it steady I mean it was very easy and it's much quicker and we're pilot holes it's just another chance of drilling straight through the door it's good enough then put you come on and here we go let's go in the kitchen and check in pitch now when you've been putting against or putting against the cabinet brother this is where it'll show whether the inch was cited correctly in the right position and before you even start this if you get the jig and just put it against the cabinet and luckily looked at the markings on it you'll see whether the center is in the center of the mold and now I'll tell you now when I first got the jerk I did do a couple of test pieces first just to make sure everything was aligning up you don't want to go waste in a very expensive door as a test piece so I would recommend you try it out with your cabinet remembering your natural plan cabinet all cabinets will be the same in the range you know it's about you know I had many ranges in this kitchen of different companies so it fits them all like once it's attached with then just got the slight adjustment first you need to adjust the door gap between that and the carcass if it's too tight it's gonna whoop and it'll bounce that means but the door point and the closed door point and say just chatter that scent fully sitting flush both top and bottom and align it if it's not it's just slight adjustment to make sure that you've got no bounce it's still a little bit of top there and you're just another little tweak it should be fine yeah that's good okay now next thing when it do is adjust in the gap around the door if you looked at adjacent doors trims whatever you'll see the gap between the door and your profiles that needs to look evenly to make the door look like it's filled properly and this despit can be a little bit fiddly and but it's worth doing because it makes the job a nice and tidy and that's just sympathy of the screw you just wind it in all out to move the door up or down if you require and as you can see it does take a little bit of time but I could say it's worth it and that's it when it's finished if they're good enough engine again you'll have look cover pledge to cover over the screw and make everything nice and tidy and the soft cloth so you should just close it self-direct okay like well that's a yeah teaching door hinge cutting jig fully explained thanks for watching see you again next time bye for now
