do you remember your first impression when you met kirsten well she was reserved when i first believe it or not i don't believe that yeah no because the secret about kirsty is she's actually a very conservative person she looks wild but she's not she's very you know i'm not gonna say puritanical that's too far but somewhere between conservative pure you know somewhere here's the deal i was very impressed with him but i was trying to act like i wasn't if you want to know the truth i see you you were trying to play the the cool pier yes you know i had a hit show he was a big star i was trying to i was trying to talk her into doing the movie because the deal and and she was looking a little like uh standoffish about the whole idea and i thought she should be more excited about this i know but that was my tactic i know but i didn't know it was you're a good actor yes it worked i mean look i i was i i was very i was very impressed here's the real truth when i moved to hollywood i was going to marry john travolta and i'm sure i'm the only woman in the world that felt nobody else but i mean i i think there's probably three million women that flooded into l.a to marry him but i thought you know i'm gonna go marry john travolta so when i met him at my agent's house i was trying to act i was trying to hold it together a little bit i want to go [Laughter] [Laughter] you know good things to do you should have professed your love to him your eyes weren't half closed cause you got a lot of lashes like this i don't know maybe have to think about it i was trying to be reserved someone asked me yesterday are you having a good time he said almost he he was so what did we do yesterday you know in a movie you know in a movie you'll do like a half a page a day i don't but you if you do you do half a page a day we did 20 pages yesterday yeah so 40 times the work yeah uh but your character uh is one you seem to enjoy i do i like playing dumb i like being stupid and does that come easy to you because it's does that come easy for you well it does come easy for me because i know i can make people laugh with it and making people laugh is what's most important because the first part she offered me and this was a kind of cynical movie star and i'm not even that in life so why would i want to he was repulsed by the first scripture in fact through thinking that script i know like a typical movie star you threw it away we shouldn't okay i don't like that script you should not okay we're not gonna do that script so you have this lovable dumb character that's that is funny i don't know what he is he's a new creation of dumb he's another level of stupid now you guys hook up we hook up in the show we always hook up in our movies i mean that's why well she plays a you know she plays a stage star that is very wild and um i'm innocent about her wildness and so i just assume that she's if we slept together she must be my my girl my steady girl so the whole show is my insisting on that we're we're you know a couple which is pretty funny he's a stalker sort of we need some details you know under the covers you know what what went down well she was in full nightgown i'm he's in full clothes we were laughing because we did look he's talking my scene was i had this little skimpy sort of short slip and a bra and weren't you nude or something maybe i don't know or something i probably insisted um anyway so and now i have a night and he's got his t-shirt and they're like [Music] give us 20 more years and see what we're wearing so how was he he's good he's the best great dancer what'd you think of her and dancing with the stars as a dancer i was very proud of her i even that was another bit i did where i came as a coach for her and max and and uh i thought i was very proud of kirsty now you guys back together on tv you made your your deal in the movies is there a possible movie together for the two of you yeah i think we should do another movie i think there's a big audience there for it we just find the right one yeah what do you want we i don't know if we should come i see i love to do very dark comedy and i also like to do i like dark little movies can we go to paris and do some french indie like last time last thing get back to [Laughter] the next to the last tango in paris i like it i have no idea what you said but it sounds pretty good in me you
