Kimberbell Bella Box Reveal . Giveaway is CLOSED.

[Music] hey everybody hi it's becky from powertoolswiththread.com that's my blog i got a bella box yay and i'm gonna get to give one to you so stick around to the end so you'll know what to do to get your very own bella box i know a lot of times mystery boxes can feel like a little bit of a throw of the dice you know you're not sure if you're really going to get your money's worth or whatever but i tell you what what is inside this bella box is over the top wow and if you're looking for something to do to keep you busy this is it they've got so much stuff in there that is going to expand your skills and give you new techniques that maybe you haven't used before it's just absolutely incredible first of all if you buy the box you go to kimberbell.com and you can still buy the box there are a few left and when you buy the box you're automatically given given six additional embroidery designs that are not included in the physical box so you're gonna get those on a download right away and that's awesome and those are exclusive to this i made some notes i actually watched the reveal from kimber bell so i could make sure to capture everything that was really important that i could share with you guys as well so first of all you get they call it a zine it's just a little magazine and it goes through and it talks about every project and ideas of what you could do with them and it's beautiful pictures and everything that's in here it's just really really nice to be able to sit and go oh okay i see what they want me to do with that that's a great idea of course you can do it all on your own for instance the create banner that's part of this i'm going to show you in just a little bit somebody and on their staff actually put it on and on like a chalkboard here and framed it on this and that looks incredible and i'm probably going to do something like that of my very own so that's really neat i'm going to make that create banner and i'm going to put it up so you guys will probably see it on my barn door over there you get a coupon to stitched it is an online event july 15th at 7 so you can watch that and then there is a list of all of their projects and whatnot and your ability to watch their events and you can see the schedules and everything they have that in there as soon as you open the box you get a card and on the back of it it lists everything that's in here and even if you just look at these like i looked through them and i was like oh that seems nice i don't know and then i watched the video from kimber bell and i really got excited about what was in here so this is going to be keeping me busy matter of fact i'm not taking an embroidery machine with us on our big three week trip but i'm thinking about it i've got a little one around here somewhere i could probably shove in the rv right so kimber bell heard us yay you know how today's computers laptops and whatnot hardly any of them come with cd drives anymore and we've been wanting usb sticks and especially because we can take the usb even if we don't put it in the computer but you should so you save your designs because usb sticks can fail but you can take your usb stick it's right here in this cool little box and you can take it directly to your embroidery machine and there's all your designs right there there are also pdf file instructions so if you put this into your laptop computer or your desktop computer there is where you will find all of the detailed pdf instructions on how to make all of the projects that are in here and then then it has a little cap that is also with it so you can keep it all nice and tidy just like this so that's awesome all right they have this thing called a folio and this is really cool i i like this a lot i've got a pin down here so what this is it's kind of a really heavy felt and you are supposed to embroider the whole thing okay and you can embroider all the different parts of it and the designs that you would embroider it with are available on the usb stick or you can do your own you could do a big monogram right here on the front and make it your own and it has cool little slots right here where your usb sticks will fit right in there and also a couple of the pens that come with this and i'll show you there's a little bit of a white board if you wanted to use this as a way to set out applique pieces or anything like that or you can make notes on it whatever it's just a super cute little white board and it has some velcro stickies on the back that you can use to permanently adhere into the folio and on the bottom part of this folio when you open it up i'm going to show you what else is in here you can actually make a clear zipper pocket and that design is also on that usb stick so it's really really neat the folio itself is a project and then in the end you will stitch down the other end of this elastic and it becomes a way to wrap around your folio and you can keep all of your little embroidery projects in here very very cool i like that you also receive an adorable package of five inch squares and this is fabric exclusive for kimber bell from maywood studios and so you get to pick whatever it is that you want in your colorway to make your project i think that's just awesome so neat so so neat you will also get a box of embellishments this is super cute it's a great little box that you can use for storage after you've gone through and done these things it has two little latches it says kimber bell on the front experience the joy of creativity this is an adorable zipper can you see the little holes in it isn't that cute this zipper is going to be part of the pouch the zipper pouch in the folio you have some little gold beads you have some clear beads you have some adorable little buttons in yellow and mint and orange and tangerine so cute you have peach white and mint lengths of ribbon and you have two gel pens and colors you get gold and and the mint and we have pins and magnets and these are for use with the bookmarks you also get two rolls of washi tape very cute so that's that bin you receive a kimber embellishment kit they call them kimber embellishments instead of embellishment and that's sweet and this kit contains pieces of the faux leather i think this is for a flamingo and you've got some this is the gold sparkle vinyl and felt in beautiful colors here's some silver here's some gold and here's some white kind of a felt you've got some mylar and you've got a full piece of felt in this beautiful vanilla color very very pretty stuff and then you also have your vinyl and this vinyl is going to be used to make that vinyl pouch with the zipper in the folio i might do a sew along for that now oh that reminds me there are full video tutorials of how to do all of this on the kimberbell.com website so you need to be sure to check that out if you get this and you want to make it they have these new templates and they're called clear blue tiles and what these do is the clear blue tile has cross hairs in here that you would poke out and create openings it's kind of hard to see right now because i have not opened it up but the instructions are very clear that you can lay this for instance if you're going to be doing your folio then you would take your clear blue tile and lay it right here and then take a water soluble marker and mark in the there's the center hole and then mark it let me show you so here's the clear blue tile and these have little pop outs yeah one of them has an arrow so you know which way is up the instructions on this are so incredibly precise and clear i just absolutely love it okay so you would put one like right here and you would take your water soluble marker and you would mark in these grooves with an arrow and mark your center point and then you know where to put center in your hoop when you're going to be doing this and then you do this again right here and right here and right here and you can use it in all of these places but it will help you to find center when you're embroidering on your folio i think that's just awesome and it even has kind of a grid you can see a grid to it it's kind of hard to see but it is there these are very handy y'all i would use this in a ton of different things too besides just doing this folio you get a make it happen notebook in beautiful colors this is so incredibly pretty and the make it happen notebook will fit once you get this folio all sewn together it actually fits just like this right there see that very cute this whole thing is designed to just integrate and work together and i just really love that opportunity to make something amazingly cute you get a couple of pages of some adorable stickers look at that sewing machine that sewing machine is exclusive to kimber bell their design team came up with it and you get a fabric cutting guide so here in the cutting guide it's going to let you know if you want to make the project to look exactly like theirs you would use that particular fabric and it tells you exactly how to cut it to make it work for what you need so that way you make sure you have exactly the fabric that you that you want so that's very handy they have these ombre tea towels this is so cool so ombre means it goes from darker to lighter and you can do a couple of different things with these and they show you right here i'm not going to take them out right now but one of the the ombre tea towel is actually the tangerine one is actually a project in the that is on this usb stick that you can put a couple of cute little juice cartons on there and then they use this tea towel to make it into a tote and they show you how to do that make a tote and the tote is big enough to hold your folio cool i love it i love it kimber bell has come out with these things called kimber blanks this one includes an 18 by 18 quilted pillow blank now why are these so cool i'm going to show you those of you that are terrified of zippers the pillow blanks come pre-stitched with an invisible zipper in it there it is right there so you it already has a zipper and also they're already pre-quilted all different colors have different quilting designs on them so this one is done in a real cool chevron and all of the edges are already surged so all you have to do is hoop your project or float it either way you want embroider whatever you want on here you can do monograms you could do a birth announcement you could do whatever it would be so so neat do a little family tree in embroidery that would be cool and then just turn it right sides together and stitch all three sides and you're good to go you can you've got to open that zipper don't forget that before you sew it shut who's done that yeah and then you can just slip your 18 inch pillow form in here if you didn't have an 18 inch pillow form you could sew it down with a larger seam allowance and make it a 16 inch pillow form it's totally up to you whatever you want to do with it all of these things can be found in your local quilt stores so you guys be sure to patronize your local quilt stores and get these really super cute things but i like these kimber blanks i think they're great that's a really a neat neat thing okay you also get another full piece of kimber bell embroidery felt in that vanilla color oh i'm sorry it's buttermilk my bad and it's just a whole other piece and so maybe you want to make two you can make one that says create you can make one with your name maybe a grandchild's name something like that that's going to be a lot of fun to put another one of those together and they have a keepsake pin this is called created it says created to create let me show you those a lot of you collect these keepsake pins a lot of you collect kimber bell lanyards and here's another one to go on your lanyard this is so cute look at that isn't that adorable i love this i love this this will look great on the ombre tote bag that you can make with a tea towel very very cute and what everybody absolutely loves in this particular box let me get all this stuff out of the way this is exclusive to the bella box you cannot find these in stores or online it is a kimber bell paper tape dispenser i love this listen to this thing listen to how heavy that is it's perfect for kimber bell's paper tape i'm gonna get it open and i'm gonna put it right next to my machine and you're gonna see me using it all the time in my embroidery because you guys know we use tape all the time when we embroider let me open this up well if you're going to have a tape dispenser you need a roll of tape right it also comes with a roll of tape now kimber bell tape is pretty wide and you have to have a wide dispenser in order to manage this thing let's do this and of course it's in that adorable mint color that kimber bell is signature to kimber bell look at that love this love this i really really like this that's
