KeyShot Quick Tip - Creating Quick Seamless Textures

[Music] what's going on everyone welcome to another keyshot quick tip in this video we're going to take a look at how to create quick seamless textures inside if you're looking to create seamless textures but don't want to jump between programs to do so there's a quick way to blend texture map seams without having to leave keyshot to get started make sure you have your texture applied to your model and either the textures sub tab open in the project panel or your material graph open with your texture selected from here you'll want to locate your texture type drop down and select try planar from the drop down menu once selected your new texture type will also have a new set of parameters that you'll need to adjust from here simply locate the blend seam slider and adjust your blending amount until the hard lines of your seams blend to your liking note that this method works for many textures particularly when they are organic or non-repeating however this method can sometimes be less effective when working with repeating patterns and machine textures hopefully this quick tip makes texture mapping your future key shot projects a little easier and as always if you're interested in more useful keyshot content hit that subscribe button and get notified as soon as new videos hit the channel don't forget to let us know your thoughts on this quick tip in the comment section below and if you found this video useful give it a like and share [Music] [Music]
