Kate Hudson 'Stalked' Gwyneth Paltrow Before Meeting Her

We're very close. We've known each other a long time. The first time you met Gwyneth, you were a baby. You were very young. You were very young. Yes. Because you knew my parents. Mm hm. And I used to remember seeing you when I was little, and I was always so starstruck by Goldie. Oh, god, well that's interesting. I still am, by the way. Sweetie pie. That's a good segue way into my story, when I first met Gwyneth, because I didn't really meet her. I just stalked her. This is a true story. It was the short hair Gwyneth years when her hair was like this. And I was still in high school. And there was a store called Tracy Ross. Oh, yes. On Sunset. Remember that store? And me and my best friend, Sarah Foster, were in there shopping. And there was only two other girls in there. And it was Gwyneth and Winona. And we were like this. And I remember watching you go-- this is really funny. I watched you go and get all of the clothes. And I was like, what's she getting? I clocked all the outfits. And you got Katayone Adeli pants. Oh, my god. 90s. Yeah, yeah. I remember. I remember. That is so funny. And then I said, hey. And you were like, hi. And that was it. That was when we first met. And that was the beginning of a love story. It was a long love story. Anyway, so you went on your honeymoon. You went to the Maldives? Yes, and it was incredible. Really? Was it amazing? It was amazing. Trip of a lifetime. It looked amazing. Oh, there's your sexy hubs. [APPLAUSE] There he is. Sexy hubs. Sexy hubsies. I want to get into the honeymoon because I think that's what a lot of people want to hear about. OK, great. So tell us. [CHEERS] Thanks, guys. It was a different kind of honeymoon. Oh, because we brought everybody? Everybody was there. Yeah. Who did you bring? Well, my new husband and myself, and his two children and my two children, and a family that we travel with a lot and their five children. Oh. And then my ex-husband came. Oh, this is too fabulous. I love this. Oh, that's great. Look at this. Aw. Cute husbands. Cute husbands. Yeah, I have to say because we have a similar situation. You do it too, right? Yeah. And I will say, it's all about the kids, isn't it? Yes. And when you can really learn to put aside every single thing, all the pain because there is pain obviously, right? Right. But when you put it aside and work through it, it's really healing. I think so, too. I applaud you. Thank you. For this lifestyle that you've created. [APPLAUSE] It's great. I know I'm a Goop.
