hey everybody it's Rachel Jindal I'm here at the national farm machinery show inside the giant ear booth I love that they have featured this Waterloo boy right here in the center of the booth just honoring their heritage John Deere is celebrating a hundred years this year in 2018 so this is really special to have one of their original kerosene powered tractors obviously those were most known for their belt power and now we've upgraded our technology they have their 5r and 6r series tractors on display here those are somewhat new maybe a couple years out there's just a really wide variety of horsepower options chassis options tire options there's just a lot you can do with a five hour or six hour series tractor then you can walk up to the front of the booth with me we'll come back to this Morrowind baler come up here this is their 5000 series tractor here e for economy really basic just a good entry-level tractor for someone to you know start out owning where they're going to work on their farm here's some of their more compact tractors this again is an economy you can just see really basic controls up front down here at the loader on these economy series you can only change the bucket and replace that with forks or a bail spear but you don't replace the whole entire loader frame you're just going to be able to replace that front option and the economy series here is the R series there's of course em in the middle which isn't displayed here R is more top-of-the-line this is featuring the drive over attachment for the mower deck you can see that it's attached to the tractor here if your tractor was equipped with the mower deck like this you would just remove these four clips or pins here in the corner one on the middle and then you could drive over your mower deck then you could use your tractor without being hindered by the operation of the mower deck at all this loader will come completely off the frame as well as the bucket if you want to take that off then I'll show you this tractor around here this just demonstrates that drive over mower for the center mount mower a lot better you can see how you would just drive over it when you're ready to reattach your mower deck you drive over and it automatically attaches the only thing you have to do is snap these pins down so it's really very easy here you can see the hydraulic controls come off the tractor this is an R series so the whole loader could come off they have lots of attachments you can see a backhoe on this one behind me if you want to come around here this has got a six foot reach on the backhoe lots of nice attachments next I want to sneak around we're going to step away from the compact tractors and come back here this is really awesome this got the 850 award yesterday actually the innovator was here and received the award but we missed him today this is awesome because it allows you to hold up to two round bales and then you can drop them all in a row you can accumulate all of your bales together so you see this picture here here you can see all the bales are in a row which is just a incredible time-saver rather than having your round bales scattered all over your field then you have to go back and pick them all up you can just go get all your bales at one time when you're done with that field so John you had lots of other awesome things in the booth but that's just a small sample of what they have on display here they of course have their Gators they got their mowers bigger tractors they have a track tractor here too so if you can swing by the show be sure to come to the John Deere booth don't miss at Waterloo boy in the center and you will enjoy seeing all their new technology here
