NEW John Deere Zero Series Round Baler - 2019 National Farm Machinery Show

[Music] [Music] hi Cory I'm blood pageant under tough works where the 2019 national so here in front of our news from Baylor from John here Tom works this is our free clutter round baler this is designed and built in North America at our Factory if you want to walk around up here front let's talk here at the front of the banner kind of work our way towards the back nearly about some of the things have changed so you can see the tongues a little bit longer we had to extend the tongue to make room for our new pre cutter feed system this right here is just strictly a pedestal mount right here because our drive line had gotten so long we want to take some vibration on this right here he left up the shield right here so this is one of the best clutches in the industry instead of having a friction Clips I can have you pour on some of our RM spec or not bringing in Baylor's this has got a cutoff clutch so if you if you push this machine to capacity and you do end up slipping the clutch now it's just got a pin that just disengages itself there's no key to this clutch should last life here baler it is the best clutch in industry so again what I just mentioned about pushing your machine to its capacity I'm gonna give you another really good insurance policy and that's our drop floor but you can see over here for you scan on the side of some hydraulic cylinders here on the floor know where you can your limitations are for your fuel that day and you're hesitant about how fast you can go how you want to bail there's weather coming in push this machine to its capacity if you do plug from the cabbages in a button drop your floor lowers your floor turn your PTO vac on and push that plug right into your bail and away you go that's you know as quick as 30 seconds to have a plug done don't just stay right to see your cap come back over here and we can take a look at the heart of this machine right here so the machine is called our HC squares so that's for a high-capacity and cutting this pick up up front right here the the Trop engaging it looks very similar because it is from our megawatt plus pick up heat system oh we did a front that would double the size our or baffle because we saw increased ground speed and our previous roller map wasn't able to keep up so we doubled the size of that our pickup stayed the same now you here you see the hard soil this machine right here is our primary rotor our previous layers all were just a 90-degree box this one has a gearbox we drive this at the primary and secondary rotor off that we're putting about ten times the amount of torque in these right here to really give us our capacity and push this machine so everywhere you see a slot right here on this rotor we've got knives knives that come up through the floor that accept each one of those slots we've also got a really nice patent on this machine here too of this this notch here in the back this knife so it what you do want to if your run the baler without the knives in which you don't have to do from the cab again you can hit a button lower the knives and run a lot of times faster than you want to sit in the scene your tractor that's part of our high capacity into this machine in addition to that too we've also seen an increase in density of about 10% in this machine because of how this rotor it's under shot it smashes a crop down before it goes in the chamber so you get a little bit more higher density more capacity without the knives in but when you want the knives in and even run you're better without the knives up and some of the other machines that we have seen industry when the knives aren't up you try to put the knives back up it's spring-assisted but that spring can't push the knife through that slot so what ours is for our patent right here we got this little notch in the back of this knife when you drop the floor as a roller that comes to the back side locks in that slot and now you're using a hydraulic for straight force pushing that knife through the through the floor do those slots in the bottom there to get that knife up to there it's about 27 pounds of pressure to get that knife up through there so you know you pay the money if this machine you want to work and you want it to be make sure that you want the knives up your cutting this is nothing in life is on our per second guarantee but this is pretty darn guaranteed get your dagger knives up each of these knives is also spring protected so if you do hit something in the field each one gets out of the way this brings back up so one of the other things that has changed in this machine - so once we had the knives engaged we saw a lot of increase in moisture on the felts and we didn't want the belts to slip so on the other side and we can swing around over there on the number 11 drawer we drive that roll so that's new for these Baylor's as well swinger on here and you can see on our new honor net rap systems a new fan break system so previous Baylor's had a rubber pad that stopped that shift returned put the brake on that was probably one of our number one issues for having net rap problems in the field so now with this band break system here's gonna let you do is it's gonna live the life your baler it's going to give you more positive engagement of that break better net performance in the field so and right now we only seen that adjustments needing around the 10,000 bail mark now then behind this end is our bus to rob a accumulator this was also new back in 2017 is the very first integrated Rob accumulator in the industry so now instead of just waiting or being bound to drop the bail off the field where you are when it wraps now I can put one or two bales on my cart and I can dump them off in the field wherever I want to that makes the most sense of its most strategic place to get your bales off the quickest one of the other things that we found to wear wisconsin is when we had the test coopera from this machine at the end of season they said they saw increased tonnage on future cuttings because if they didn't get out there in time to get the bales off the field and the regrowth had come up especially in alfalfa now that crown that plants coming out it's really susceptible to damage you're driving around that field driving on that regrowth where are you driving that regrowth like after day five when you cut it you could see you know up to 20 percent reduction in yield before you drive on the field so so it's not gonna save you a lot of time a lot of tonnage and the other great thing too is that it's not just for zero series round balers it retro fits all the way back through seven series as long as you've got a six foot diameter machine the high flotation tires and a mega y plus pickup so that right there is everything that's new new products for John Deere teleworks awesome thank you okay you
