"Karen" tells some YouTubers they CAN'T Metal Detect Laguna Beach

he's uh he's good that guy's good if you got to check him out all right we're down at lagona beach today see another guy detecting down here looks like he's gritting over in this area go have a few words with him if he'll uh be kind enough to talk to me see if we can find a nice spot here we'll get you uh we'll get started and talk to you soon um excuse me there's uh no detecting allowed down uh DNL Treasures right nice to meet you guys I don't usually get this far down south I'm shooting right now so you'll be in my video of course so I'll send a little shout out to you guys awesome I was just coming down the hill here doing my montere magnet man impersonation oh no all right that's super funny I just ran into DNL Treasures out here on uh uh lagona Beach unplanned collaboration hunt with these two so nice to meet them I'm a big fan of their Channel you got to check them out I'm going to link them down to the bottom so you can see what they're uh what they're up to give them some love give them a subscribe they do a live feed every Sunday you got to check that out too that's pretty pretty fun too so uh I'm going to hunt along with these guys and we'll see uh see what we can do we maybe we'll we'll share notes and compare finds all right we'll get you on the first Target all right we got our first Target here it was a little while we went through the wet there was hardly anything so I'm jumping up here to the towel line and I've got a what was that like a 24 26 and I got a big clump of needles it's like pine needles and some wood right in the middle here 2425 all right right we got it out it's over here somewhere see if we can separate it out a little bit and it looks like a piece of trash and I think it's like one of those little uh it's interesting oh no it is uh some little packets of something foil packets all right not a great first Target all right we got a high ringer here looks like uh 88 89 for those of you that are new around here that usually means it's a quarter if you've been around before and you know the 900 or the newer Equinox and manticor 880 8889 generally is a quarter one of the more common things at that number and there it is a nice new quarter I got a real faint uh 50 here okay it's starting to brighten up a little bit 53 51 let's go down a little 50 this thing is just not saying [Music] much how am I missing it's right about here there we go did we get it oh there it is it's a pitchfork all right this deep one's got me digging like a gopher I think I just hit something here let's uh oh it's probably a tent steak I think did I just yep that's what it was a nice deep tent steak my favorite uh 2930 little scratchy not much to not much to go by there but I think it's right in this spot right here all right wa bottle cap or 26 27 now but yeah it is a bottle cap Corona all right don't mind me young guys I'm just coming through over this way yeah just stay there I'm not going to hurt you these are some uh trusting baby seagulls okay guys let's move it over this way a little bit all right sorry sorry I haven't searched this area yet go back there where I've looked already 13 14 we're looking at foil I think so there it is is oh and a bottle cap two in one trip up to the pouch 61 [Music] 6465 we got it oops so I lost the last one I think I'm a little sloppy with the the shakes there it is bouncing bouncing we got you shiny penny a a cute little metal fishy plate look at that thing perfect size for Fred oh something jumpy High tone 77 60s hoping for a penny hoping for more actually having my [Applause] doubts uh-oh what is that that's not a penny it's a tent Stak all right got a 32 pretty sure you're going to be a bottle cap we're heading into the Trashy area here people don't pick up after themselves let's see if it is a bottle [Laughter] cap right in there think we got it let's be patient reveal yourself oh no it's a pull tab I am wrong all right another one in the mid 60s 96 what 82 he there how's it going we are seeing 67 s 80s Let's Get Down in here let's see that right there okay it's right there whatever it is 607s 90s I don't know okay oops that's another tent steak are you kidding me not again 2728 nickel or P tab what do you think nickel or pull tab that is the question I'm hoping for nickel nice sunrise here think I heard a little something there okay let's reveal it sounds like a nickel it does sound like a nickel and it is a nickel a new one okay something real faint here it was showing like 2728 I don't think this one is a nickel want a 26 now it could be but it's not real uh it's not hitting like a coin yet it's getting a little better see maybe a deep down nickel it's kind of locked into 27 28 me widen the hole a little okay I don't think it's a nickle cuz it's it's out now and it's not giving me a good a good read yeah it's a bobby pin sort of like a nickel I guess probably wor you guessed it it's another Penny we think we'll just do Penny Montage or Penny Penny penny Okay second scoop third scoop got it I heard a little clunk in there get it out of there where are you there you are the piece of seaweed that one's on its way to uh corrosion Ville [Music] 78 could we be that dime or something more over here well let's see let's try to minimize the amount of scooping I do oh I got [Music] it where are you dime there you are hi dime whoa surface score look at this bad boy oh yeah I think it might still work I don't know we'll try it out love it so I've been greeted in the wet here a little this is actually the first decent Target I've gotten in the wet and it looks like a penny but it's something oh cruncho chunk of metal what could that be is it an arrow half of an arrow okay 1516 we looking at foil it's either trash or treasure all right me get my uh get my legs underneath me here okay what are you I didn't get it okay let's just go like that okay let's see what a 1618 looks like I am seeing a uh it's the uh a bottle what do you call these things a bottle cap ring a screw top ring like that really nice at least I got one ring so far all right there's a a tasty number 5654 sometimes good stand solid I have no idea see what we got like I said it's a tasty number we got a ring look like a Bling Ring but we got a ring that's kind of cool it's in good shape all right look at that it almost fits where am I going to wear that right there looks like it's missing a logo or something it's a little plain but I like it BW that boom thumbnail all right we're almost out of here let's keep here's a good example look at they're detecting here I think I've gone over here I gritted this area already and I still went back over and I've got a Target I probably missed or they missed how about that okay it's a it's a bouncy one probably a 10 Stak or something 90s to 30s now it's it's showing like 62 now so it's probably a penny 46 come on give me some signs some signs of Life 56 [Music] now all over the place I guess we're just going to have to dig deep we'll do a cut here and we'll clip back in when we get closer all right it is right in this area somewhere and what is it another bobby pin oh I feel it oh there it is it's an l shaped allen wrench hex wrench whatever you want to call it but it's definitely uh not anything valuable so L for loser okay we've got an epic dig here I've already gone down a bit but we're in the 40s we're starting to see Signs of Life how far down we go we don't know we're at the edge of what was probably the wet last night I'm getting all kinds of mixed numbers 40s to 90s and get something down deep there see if we can pull that I think we got it oh my goodness it is a o very Rusty bobby pin oh it's got some uh some Jewels there that's a nice one to clean this thing out very Rusty nice see the sparkle there's another uh juicy number 54 let's see if this uh turns into anything oops we got it here let's take a look think I see something right there nope edge of the scoop all right that's something heavy and it is a fishing weight look at that I think this could possibly be our last Target on this beach so we're done today I'm with uh DNL Treasures here pretty cool nice to see them just ran out I'm big fan of theirs and uh anyway that's going to wrap it up for today or at least this hunt I may do some more hunting today you'll see uh I'm going to head out here and we'll do a little wrap up all right here we are with the wrap up from today's hunt this morning down a lagona beach we ran into DNL Treasures uh fellow YouTubers that was kind of a surprise I'm a big fan of theirs and I just happen to be coming down the stairs and spotted some uh detectorists I think I spotted Dave first and I thought oh I'll go talk to that guy and turns out I know them and I I gave them a hard time uh shout out to those guys give them a follow if you can and uh hopefully Monterey magnet man like my impersonation of him as well I'll uh try to reach out to him and make sure he uh sees that I I wouldn't want it that impression to go wasted without him seeing it okay let's go through the finds this was probably my favorite of the day was the big squirt gun I have yet to try it out to see if it's working but uh it does look cool uh let's see over here in the junk pile we've got a pitchfork we've got this looks like an arrow or something I don't know it's a piece of scrap sign or something we got our regular tent Stakes a little L Ranch there we got a fishing weight a tiny little fish plate which is metal got this bracelet uh assorted caps tabs uh some prescription or medication there uh Rusty washer over here we've got quite a few bobby pins and one fancy one here with some little stones in it look at that so we were pulling lots of uh bobby pins today change wise we did a diam a nickel uh 6 pennies and a quar and then I guess the find of the day would probably be the little uh goldish Bling Ring I found uh right close to the end of the hunt so that was kind of fun it's always good finding a ring no matter what it looks like um that's going to do it for this one again thank you guys for watching check out a couple of the channels I'm
