Jessica Alba's Visit to a Nude Spa | Late Night with Conan O’Brien

thank you for being here thank you for having me great to have you on the show I'm so excited to be here I love doing your show oh well thanks particularly um high today is it really I get excited when you're around my hair Rises like a beast uh yeah no uh well let's uh let's talk uh I don't want to embarrass you but many people think you're one of the most beautiful women on the planet and I'm just curious I know that that's a lot to live up to you you yourself have said in interviews that that you you yourself think you have physical flaws the rest of us don't really know what you're talking about you know um this is all like hair makeup and stuff no it's not by contrast I have twice as much hair and makeup as you do right now and look at me uh it's uh no no it's very sweet yeah what is there but you know growing up or right now is there some part of you that you think oh I wish I could change that I wish you know when I was growing up I really kind of kind of teeth I I secretly sucked my thumb till I was nine um so I had the bus 24 right here you got me yeah yeah I was in my college graduation I was like thank you um and and all my school photos uh one I always went in a little bit you're getting crazy it's true I had a peg leg no no that's that's really true look for an arm yeah so you know when I was I didn't I mean I and I never really got asked out on dates by anybody my age really no not really until I was like 18 or 19. so many people who are incredibly attractive later in life always say that you know we've had so many supermodels here who say oh I went through an awkward stage and no one would talk to me and I always find it very hard to believe you know yeah I had a lot of um teary nights because boys wouldn't call me and stuff yeah I did my guess is problem no more right well I mean problem solved unless guys are too intimidated now I would think you know I mean no I mean see you they would see you and they would say that's just gobble I'm not going to go up you know that's that's a confident guy who would walk right up to you and say Jessica Alba let's go to Olive Garden and make it happen [Music] I don't really like Olive Garden that much they have such terrific food thank you for any other they run ads in the show okay sorry no no no um coffee would do coffee yeah all right I'll do it uh you're asking me out I understand recently you um now you're here promoting A Fantastic Four but you shot another movie recently in one of my favorite places which is New Mexico you were in Albuquerque Albuquerque New Mexico and it's so beautiful there it's fantastic did you get any down time at all did you I um I worked really hard um you know because it was like a sort of a smaller budget and and a lot of work um but I did have on all of my downtime I would hit spas and in right outside of Santa Fe they have this Spa that we went to and I think it's like a swingers nudist spa and I didn't know a sweet like a it's a spa where you can get a massage and everything but also it you think there's a sexual component to it well when you get there they're like the communal tub is uh right over here and the changing room is over here and we're like oh okay but we didn't bring our bathing suits and they're like nobody wears bathing suits and I was like oh but okay is it is it men and women and they're like yeah absolutely is it possible they were just saying this to you all right incredible the guy was thinking really fast [Applause] we don't we don't wear suits here but that guy's ring us you know but you don't so you should go there and you'll see lots of grown men that are um with their wives and they're all naked and showing their business and they're like you know they're like natural you know so it's not like that trim so you see a lot of things that like you want to choose to see somebody naked that's not a choice I agree with that I like I like to I yes you're I agree with that I don't like surprise nudity pure nudity I thought as being punked right and I got punked and a guy was walking around naked when I was Punk so I was like this must be another punked thing but it was real see that's the that's the thing if you're a celebrity and you have an experience like that your first thought is probably like Ashton Kutcher's here somewhere he's here oh no and then you go along with it all right I'm getting naked maybe that's what you do yes I do and I'll be naked until I'm pumped uh it's my promise to America you know so I I was a little thrown but I love I love New Mexico it's fantastic there I want to talk about uh Fantastic Four you of course play Sue storm the invisible girl and you it in this role you wear a superhero costume yes which uh has got to be kind of fun because I know that you know acting it's a serious business as you said you work very hard you played a lot of cool roles but when they when they tell you're gonna play a superhero it must be fun to put on a superhero outfit isn't it a little bit yeah it's cool at first and then you're walking around amongst regular people and they're all kind of looking at you strange and then little kids look at you and they're expecting you to do something right and I'm like I can't do anything yeah I can go take you to the craft service table and we can get some snacks nice yeah my superpower is this cell phone you can call people from far away yeah so yeah you kind of feel like you you should be uh bigger and better and superhuman it puts a huge expectation on you and then you're not right right so well we have a clip here from uh the Fantastic Four movie and I if I'm correct this is where you're you're about to get married is this the right clip we're we're planning our wedding and it keeps getting interrupted because we're superheroes and the world needs us right and this is just one another one of those times but uh we end up finding out that the world is coming to an end and the Silver Surfer
