Jeff Smith when did you join the cast of he oh you were you were there like towards the end of the the wrong which I did I actually came on the same time earlene came on they decided when was it Marcia I can't remember 80 83 or 84 they decided to add some new faces to the show and at that time I was lucky enough to be one of the faces that they added and earlene and I wrote it to the end there's a lot of fun I couldn't believe it by the way Wendy I was in diapers at that time while you're in high school and Larry Gatlin I'm sorry but thank you for that mental picture Jeff where you from I'm from North Carolina I grew up in High Point North Carolina and actually moved back there about 14 years ago I find it interesting that we talked and Luther brought up the subject that in the beginning they wouldn't allow gospel music on hee haw and yet there have been several gospel songs today and I think you're gonna do one don't you Jeff I am one of the things I had the privilege to do one of the most fulfilling things I have done I think in my careers when I moved back to North Carolina the church that I attend I was the praise and worship leader there up until this past year when I stepped down some of the most fulfilling things I've ever done in my life and I'd do it again well sing a song for us well let's do this [Applause] see if I can remember these lyrics since bill took mine away by the way to these women just not look outstanding outrageously go thank you praise and worship leave yesterday in the name of Jesus keep it coming we thank you thank you Lord don't let them change please whatever you do thank you Lord give me on this man thank you [Music] tempted and tried we're too wonder why it should be the all the day and while their harem living never in the wrong singing with this everybody mother [Music] [Applause] [Music] to stand [Music] cheer up live the sunshine will understand [Music] when death hand taken and once it leaves our home so lonely and rare then do we wander while others prosper living so weird hereafter year singing in [Music] [Music] understand cheer up I ten in will to say [Music] [Applause] and when we see Jesus coming in glory when he comes down from his home in the sky [Music] then we shall G here right and will just all by again we understand cheer up by the sunshine and will Oh [Applause] yes will understand Oh [Music] [Applause] must've felt like you were back leading the singing in church never built it this always felt like church I mean this was the this was the best dysfunctional family I've ever been apart you know because if you think about it we're all dysfunctional our ancestors kicked out of a garden these clips are great but to see full episodes go to country road tv.com
