I [Music] just feel so lucky [Music] okay good morning I literally woke up every two hours because it is daytime in La during night time here so my body just thinks we were taking naps all day long we're gonna head over to Harajuku and we are going to go to some cafes and eat really yummy food a little OOTD I have my aritzia top my slacks and then my hocus [Music] pork belly for breakfast let's explore Japan together and I really did a lot of research on my itinerary so if you follow where we went you should be able to go there efficiently ready for our 17-minute walk [Music] oh I was gonna walk recorded yes thank you the water's glowing do you know what I'm seeing a lot of public restrooms do not have soap so make sure you bring hand sanitizer with you [Music] you can put your stuff in here there's a McDonald's this is right here it smells like pink we are early there's no wait [Music] does this require reservations and they didn't know that because in Korea we didn't really have to reserve much for anything but then there are some spots where you can't make a reservation like our lunch spot today and we're just lining up nice [Music] oh please insert money first apparently the tsukumen here is really popular with the locals and by the time we got in there was already a line out the door [Music] we went to a hedgehog Cafe and this is when I learned that I get really sad when I see animals working because then I start to think are you guys Happy are you taken care of do you wish you could be sleeping and the even sadder part is that they're working and not getting paid but they were really cute [Music] we are at the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Building going to the observatory because apparently this view is comparable to the ones that you have to pay for but this one is free I I believe [Music] yeah [Music] I got yours I got Anya it is a practice right above [Music] she's one of the biggest unique clothes in the world it is 12 stories high and a very very large they actually have an area on the fifth floor where you can customize some of your shirts but they basically screen print or embroider grabbing dinner at TSU Jihan tonight and apparently this is the best meal in Tokyo all the videos that I watched all the tick tocks I watched said this was amazing so I'm so excited all over Tick Tock people said this was the best meal they ever had in Tokyo so I was so excited to try it even though it was a two hour wait and the thing about Tokyo is that the seating is very limited so there's not a lot of people in line it just takes really long to get inside this whole thing was 16 and it was so delicious the instructions say to mix the wasabi with your soy sauce and then pour it on top and then you eat your bowl with a side of Sashimi but then they ask you to save at least two pieces so that you can actually eat it with your broth the broth is optional at the end but it was a great way to finish off our meal and you can also ask for extra rice [Music] we went to Don Kyoto which is basically a giant store filled with random knickknacks whether it's skin care Hair Care Home Care all of the above and we just bought a bunch of makeup and skincare products after leaving the craziness of Shibuya Crossing I finally got back to my hotel and we had walked 27 000 steps today good morning another day today we are going to the fish market some shopping then we're gonna go drive the go-karts so when driving the street carts in Tokyo you do need an international license you need all of this in order to get your International license in California it costs twenty dollars and then literally within 30 minutes I had this today's fit of the day my aloe yoga pants and then my aritzia top it actually has been quite hot here but I know later on in the week it's going to get a little bit cooler but yesterday was a high of 80. it felt really warm and hot I didn't even need a jacket at night only a select number of 7-Elevens have the smoothie machine but basically you scan the barcode and then you stick in your cup and then it starts blending it for you it's actually really hard to combine vegetables in Tokyo so I felt like I really needed this [Music] one of my favorite places to go was the tsukiji fish market they just had so much good food and for a really affordable price like I got these scallops for three dollars crazy I tended to flock towards the areas that had really long lines that could be a tourist trap but all the food I got was really good like this tamago okay this place was 36 dollars but I think it's worth a try at least once that was amazing yes I am so full but what's that over there it's so sweet this came back from the tsukiji outer market so I heard when the Olympics were being hosted here they moved a lot of the vendors from the tsukiji market to a different market right over here the Kitchen Market was walking distance from where we are so we decided to check it out and I loved it and they're still really good food there so I think it is definitely worth a try the most expensive thing that we got was the wagyu with the uni but it was delicious but everything else is really affordable apparently this park is also really popular especially during cherry blossom season and it's less crowded so if you want a nice little walk this is the place to go the Muji and Ginza is also gigantic and they had a smoothie bar so I got another smoothie but look at how tiny the drinks are here in Tokyo we are going to a giant stationery store itoya is a large stationery store and I was so excited to see what kind of pens and notebooks that they had growing up I loved getting new packets of pens or markers and that was my first sign of perhaps I should be a teacher now it was time for us to have lunch and I feel like you can't come to Japan without eating some tempura so we were able to get a meal set we rested a little bit at the hotel because it was a long day and then we headed over to Yoshinoya for a really fast dinner because we're going to go go-karting and Yoshinoya here in Japan is so different from America then we walked 14 minutes to be exact to the go-karting station they let you wear these onesies for free because it comes with the price of your go-karting fee and I highly recommend wearing one because it was really cold and it also protects your clothes from getting dirty they only let you use your phones when you are stopped at a red light so you can't record while you're driving unless you have a GoPro you follow behind one of the employees and they will guide you all around the city of Tokyo and this was such a fun experience highly recommend good morning another day at the tsukiji fish market it's probably gonna be a lot more crowded yesterday's go-karting was so much fun but we were so tired so we're starting a little bit later today I got more scallops because the scallops were so good it's so affordable especially compared to the US then we saw this taiyaki shop with a grandma who is serving the taiyaki and it was so crispy and so flavorful and not too sweet and then this was my first time trying a strawberry Dongo I didn't realize how hard it was you can also have uni for a really affordable price and then we had sushi for breakfast again next we headed over to Nissan Crossing and there's a cafe on the second floor where they will print a photo onto your coffee or matcha [Music] we wanted to eat at this fluffy pancake restaurant but they were all full for the day so definitely get here early and I heard it's really good we were looking for an alternative and then we saw marugami udon which we have in the us too but it's actually a lot more expensive now than it used to be but in Japan it's such a good price this giant Bowl was only five dollars and we were able to split that giant Bowl into three because we wanted to save room but definitely worth the price [Music] definitely come on the weekdays because weekends foreign [Music] it's currently 140 which is a very random time to eat lunch but there is still a line here okay this meal was literally life-changing it was so good I had never had a katsu that was so lightly breaded and so tender and so flavorful it was a 10 out of 10. one of the best meals we've had in Japan all right too much I can say that was the best meal we've had so far I mean everything's good but this was amazing and for three of them it was only 37 dollars [Music] this is everywhere wait were we just here [Music] I know don't know [Music] [Music] friends absolutely love Hot Pot so I knew I had to schedule one in for them so this is an all-you-can-eat hot pot for about 20 to 25 dollars a person a hapa is also a great way to get your veggies in and I was so happy to have vegetables but I miss you too [Music] you need me [Music]
