you are because of who you you are because of who you are because of who you are [Music] lord i worship you because of who you are hallelujah hallelujah can we just shut in with god right now in our own personal space we're still apart we're still separated because of the covet restrictions but we can still shut in with god the one that truly matters let us just lift our hands and shut in with the king hallelujah to your name much as god we are the prince of peace the rose of sharon the one that sees us in all her adversities and our fears throughout all our trials and still loves us the same that knows our faults and still sees us and cares hallelujah to your name matches god hallelujah recently i've been just pondering and worshiping and just thinking about who god is for me and last year for me it was hard but it was a blessing just the same because even though i was separated from my friends and my family and i wasn't able to go out as much it taught me that think people won't always last but the one thing that will last is jesus and once i have him in my heart i have everything that i would ever need and ever want so that it has really shown me that once i cling to the cross once i cling to the old rugged cross that makes a difference my life will always be safe i'll just give thanks to god hallelujah hallelujah could you turn in your bibles to isaiah chapter please isaiah chapter 45 if you found it say amen okay we'll be reading alternately we'll begin after two one two thus saith the lord to his anointed the cyrus whose right hand i have holden subdue all the ends of the earth for i am god and there is none else hallelujah we're going into prayer we want to pray for the leading of god's spirit in today's service that god carries us through and does as he sees fit we do have a program so to speak but we want god to take full control want his will and his presence to just shop with us and allow us to worship freely and give glory to his matches name let us place the singers the ushers the one that bring for the word the moderator and us as a congregation that will be participating in today's service that we let go of all the things that may be on our mind that we forget about the struggles that we're going through that we forget about everything and we'll just come and we give god worship because praise will confuse the enemy and it will allow us to find peace even in the midst of a storm let us pray most writers and eternal father the great i am the first and the last i'll find omega the beginning and the end he who was and is and is to come jesus will come before you right now god in your masters and perfect name it's not only oh god give glory to your name oh god but to thank you for who you are not just for what you've done father you've been perfect oh god and you've been righteous you've been loving okana and you have saved us all god for another time we got another time that we're able god to stand in your sanctuary oh god in the 10th floor god with our brothers and sisters oh god so we can fellowship oh god even though god at around says are part of god just to be together and worshiping spirit and in truth oh god in worship and praise father and i continue god and i ask that you continue to bless them oh god and keep them and satisfy the needs of their minds and their hearts organa that their bodies oh the one that will bring forth the word oh god we're desirous oh god i am desirous of a word oh god today and i ask father that you send that word oh god that will edify your soul god and strengthen us oh god and keep us and give us what we're needing off oh god today father we got your grace your mercy has been and will continue to be sufficient for us and right now bless us as a congregation oh thou shalt say o lord i will praise thee though thou was angry with me then anger is turned away and thou comforted me behold god is my salvation i will trust and not be afraid for the lord jehovah is my strength and my soul he also has become my salvation therefore with joy shall he draw water out of the ways of salvation and in that day shall you say praise the lord call upon his name declare is pray healing for you this year but if you feel even if you feel a little bit of pain in your body listen to me any day above ground [Music] any day above ground as far as i'm concerned it's a good day praise god praise god praise god hallelujah what what a year it was last year i mean sometime when you you step back and take a retrospective look as to what we have been through man we we have we have seen so many changes amen i'm talking not just in our not just in our work environment not just in the on the global stage but even in our personal lives we've seen some real changes that we never expected we would have experienced but get what the bible said that god is still rules in the kingdom of men amen god is still in control of everything that happens hallelujah around us and to us and no matter what the year might bring all we have got to do just continue to trust in the name of the living god the bible says day that trust in the lord shall be what be like come on you know what mount zion is huh it's an unmovable place it's a strong fortress and we're not we not just can't be moved but we're going to abide forever so comes what may come the high order laws hallelujah or anchor holes steadfast unmovable in the name of jesus christ hallelujah i'm going to invite minister alvin boucher to come and he's going to have to be extending a warm greeting to all of our online visitors and all of the saints that are here this morning and he's going to leave his testimony as well this man has been around for a very long time brother boucher praise god first of all everybody understanding i just thank god i just bless his name i just worship him because he alone is god as a scripture we read this morning he's god all by himself he need no help and the scripture was stressing who he really is when he said i created evil i created good i did it all what a great god what a great god when you think of people dwelling in evil and unrighteousness god created it but that what people choose to live by and to do but to this morning i can say to god be the glory great things he has done i just want to implore us all this morning if you design your heart to do good ask god to give you the grace and the strength to leave it evil to leave it alone to walk away from it because sometimes we come into the house of god we are baptized in jesus name filled with his holy spirit but we still harbor we still harbor brethren we still harbor unrighteousness in our heart leave it alone god is good god is wonderful god is mighty he's precious he's kind he's true and as we trust him as we serve him with all of our heart he will take care of us wherever we go whatever we do please brethren trust almighty god walk away from that what what is not right from that which is not precious and pleasant in the eye of jesus christ don't let it be named among you i beg you in jesus name live for god walk with him trust him worship him give him thanks give him thanks for this is the will of god concerning you we are nearing just two days time the second anniversary of our leader at apostles gone into eternity gone to a better land his work has been finished and we we just want to commend them for their steadfastness for their faithfulness in ministry praise god i want us to just borrow heads at this time let me just pray for the offering in the name of the lord have given unto us we thank you for it and we ask of god that you'll bless it and and then use it for the building of your kingdom you know we have plans for this year so many plans and we ask oh god same song this morning when you have a team that prays the goodness of god flows the presence and the anointing of god flows and i want to give god thanks this morning that when i thought my life was over and done with god said no you just started and i'm here to give god praise this morning hallelujah started one day to follow jesus not caring for worldly faith [Music] [Music] oh this race web we greet you in the precious name of our lord and savior jesus christ i don't know about you but 2020 um had its tough times rough times many folks here today are going through some of the after effects of still without a job and a whole lot of other things but you know this first sunday as we look back a little bit we recognize that god has always been faithful you realize that we're all here and you might not have a job right now but you are no worse off and there is something about the almighty god even if you are down today it is a process and you watch out you're gonna you're gonna bounce right back up and when you get back up you're not going to be back to the same place where you were you're going to be much higher there's something about god you can count on him or can we praise the lord can we praise the lord we can count on him i was young the writer said now i'm old and i've never seen the righteous forsaken no seed or begging for bread that's the word of the lord and he's gonna take care of you he will take care of you count on it he will take care of you 2021 has started and you're going in with a lot of hope and anticipation and you know expectations for great things but i want to encourage you to expect a whole lot from almighty god but i also want to put you on guard that 2021 might be a worse year than 2020 in terms of the things that can come up on the land but i want to step above that to say even if it is worse than 2020 our god is going to show himself better even in a rough year just trust him just lean on him god will not see us dying for hunger he's going to send bread and if as only great pastor said if there is only one loaf of bread left in this old whole world you and i children of god our slice is secured don't let anybody feel you a slice is secured and i want us to know that who can we praise the lord can we praise the lord for me possibly even if the lord provide i could still probably die for hunger sister grizzle provide for all of us and none of us will ever die of hunger possibly i could die of hunger not that the lord didn't provide but it's possible that even with his providing flour rice chicken whatever and i have it i possibly could still die because i cannot cook but i thank god that in 2020 the lord sent chicken the world sent rice the lord sent things and i am alive not because i could cook and put it together but throughout 2020 i had a wife that was able to put it together and cause me to still be alive two persons said to me this morning you are dipped out nicely i only read the clothes but somebody has put it together and i thank god for that somebody and it is sister daily and i really want to and can we put our hands together this time for sister daily she has been a great tour of strength she has been a great wife and i'm talking about 2020 2021 just started and she still is and i'm really appreciated i'm going to ask her to come to pray for the word right now after she's prayed i'm going to read and invite us to stand to read in fact let us stand to pray sister daily could you pray for me thank you for chicken thank you for rice akin selfish and although i just say what i want what do you want honey you know curry good and curry will just come what you want chicken and chicken juice come what you i just say what you want sardine and sardine just come so she is a genie i just and it comes and she's all right with that don't worry so can you pray in the name of the law you didn't even have to give her a mic she could use mine if i catch anything from arizona right but since you have it pray hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah lord thank you thank you for allowing us to see another sunday but most of all that is in another year we give you thanks and god as the man of god stand here today to give us a charge god you have to be upon him or our coming here will be in vain lord you have to be we pray upon his lips all the words he say won't be true god we ask you to consecrate his hearts so when he speak your anointed word it will also convict him lord jesus and your people lord your word is already anointed and god we stand here today to hear from you lord i pray that every heart every spirit will be open to hear what set the lord and god when your word have been sent forth we pray that every heart in this building on the live stream will receive this chorus that says there shall be showers of blessing go ask us to grab a mic and we're going to sing it afterwards showers of blessings we need them and we're going to sing and i want us to be very careful in listening to the word amen in the name of the lord come on somebody won't you praise the lord praise the lord somebody hallelujah hallelujah first kings chapter number 18 and verse 41 and elijah said unto ahab get the up eat and drink for there is a sound of abundance of rain saints of the most high god i'm not just reading a scripture because it is in the book i am standing in the shoe of elijah this morning and i am declaring what elijah declared at the time when he declared it there was still a drought in the land three and a half years and the drought was about to be broken but as yet there was no rain as yet the place was still dry as yet the trout was still on as yet starvation was still in the land but he put on the prophetic shoe and uttered a prophetic word and elijah said unto ahab get thee up eat and drink for there is a sound of abundance of rain can i paraphrase it a little bit not taking away for the from the essence of it but i want to personalize it and the garfield said to faith chapel you not comfortable with garfield and pastor daley said to faith chapter get thee up eat and drink for there is a sound [Music] of abundance of rain i feel the rain but that song sister marsha and team singers leaders let's see everybody is yes shall be showers my heart is coming is come and now on earth oh showers on jesus [Music] singers showers me and anticipate that something great is about to happen not just in the church corporate but in individuals lives who can be praised god are you ready for the rain are you ready to receive the blessings from heaven it's very important that we understand that we better be ready amen to receive what is about to come the lord bless you amen and you may be seated in the presence of the lord praise god praise god praise god it is important that we understand that we recognize that we appreciate who our god is it is important that we realize that the god of heaven wants the best for all of us many times we miss that fact and say when we encounter situations that are uncomfortable we quickly turn and say oh god why me not realizing that when we go through situations even if they came from god himself directly because he wants to take you through a process or the situation comes upon you because of how we have been living at the end of the day if we are children of god he has a way to direct the seals of things to bring out the best for us so we must always bear in mind that whatever things we go through whatever things we encounter whatever this comfort comes away god wants the best for us when shall we say praise the lord won't you say amen he wants the best for us we must always remember that he according to how the songwriter puts it he is always looking out for me he's always busy opening the ears that i cannot see you will realize that sometimes a door is opened and we don't even know because we are too busy complaining we will realize sometimes that god has made a way and we sit down with our hands folded because we are just upset that this has happened to me but we have got to always remember and learn to appreciate that whatever it is and wherever it is that we are if we are walking with him if we are children of the most high god if we are standing in the world it is going to work also good somebody praise the lord it's always going to work uh sister marshall you didn't know that she would have gotten a promotion in such a short time since the manchester didn't know that she would have gotten a second formation in such a short time and then in the midst of it you're going to get the opportunity to go do exactly what you want to do to get you to that place but i am sure that during the time and in the process of time you would have been going through some things that you wonder god have you forgotten me but i'm re iterating in our minds that it doesn't matter what you're going through what discomfort you have the key is to put yourself through yourself in the world and walk with god and have him as your god and savior you will always come through you better believe that and can we praise the lord believe that it's always like that it can be no other way he loves you and he's going to work the best out for you rain was a very important and significant symbol of god's favor it replenishes the earth and thus provides good soil amen for growth so that to the farmer rain meant a good harvest come on oh to the nation of israel when you talk about rain coming down from heaven it signifies the blessings and favor of almighty god you see when the rain falls the earth becomes replenished with all the elements in the rain water so that when the farmer goes down to plow and then he serve his seed a mighty harvest comes up and therefore there is economic activities there is food there is plenty so that rain is associated with abundance and so symbolically god wants to pour the rain down upon his people he wants to pour the rain down upon the land because rain brings a refreshing rain brings revival rain brings restoration rain brings forward the crop and when the crops come it puts food on the table and folks can go to other parts of the country and sell and get money and then when they get the money they send the children to school and when these children grow up they become this and that and it spans a whole various things but it all begins when fear is rain and so rain symbolizes blessings rain symbolizes favor reigns symbolizes the goodness of god can we praise the lord somebody so it is important then that as children of god we try to be in a place where there is constant rain now we can be in this church this tabernacle and the rain is falling spiritually and a lot of folks are getting wet and short with the spirit and the presence of god and his blessings and then others in the same building are dry and he says pastor how can that be but i want to use a natural phenomenon and expressed to us i was at home the other day about a month or two ago and in the midst of the heavy rains remember those rains and wild rain was falling on my avenue avenue at my house and in the near vicinity i drove from here to there and when i reached over there the ground was dry when i looked back the rain was still falling just a few feet away and it was falling not a drizzle but it was falling heavily and here was i a couple feet couple chains up the road and the place was dry and the place was parched how could it be the very same thing can happen in the house of god we would want rain to be falling everywhere but i would like us to know that it is very possible for us to be in the house and the rain is falling and folks are being soaked up with the presence of god but others are here and their ground is dry and the situation is empty and the situation is just barren how can that be i'd like us to understand that the absence of rain indicate some kind of withholding by almighty god did you know that the same god that loves you at times will withhold something from you not because he hates you but because we sometimes step away from some of the foundational things in which we ought to be walking in did we know that we can go through issues because of two reasons one because almighty god is trying to take us to a place so he is going to take us through a process to build us and to strengthen us and to make us ready for greater things sometimes some things that you're going through saints of god and you know that you're living right you know that you're walking with god you know that you're into the word and all of a sudden things just seem to be growing tumbling down and it's not coming together has that ever happened to you you're walking with the lord you're living for god you're serving the king but things just seem to be going haywire don't you worry just hold your place in zion because when that happens is taking you through a process where we let the children of israel through the wilderness and cause them to go through for 40 years when they look back it said i let them through a bit on purpose because he wanted them to grow to a point where they could be blessed and be ready to possess the promised land god has a way of taking you through some things to build you up and to radio for the next phase that is to come the adversary is what is ahead and set up for some of us but when god takes us through the process you're putting on some tough skin when god takes us through the process we're putting on some backs getting broader because we we don't even know what lies ahead of us and if we go in there as weak things although god opened the door we're going fighter and soul because we weren't ready so god uses this moment in time to push us through some rough situation to push us through some tough situation because he knows what lies ahead so that when he grows up when he goes through a door of opening is there but according to paul there are many adversaries and we didn't know if god didn't put us through those rough times we would have gone into a greater environment and we would have faltered thank god for the rough times thank god for the tough times thank god for the times of empty thank god for the boss that was left with me thank because all that it did was stuff my skin and broadened my back and seek my skull so that when i go into my blessing nobody up from hell can come and take anything from me i can walk in authority and feel comfortable that i will receive what god had in store for me despite not the day of the trouble god has a reason for it but that's one kind of situation there is another kind of situation where we go through problems and trials and tribulations and it is not that god orchestrated it for us but it is because we have not been walking with him as we are god expects us to walk in the world god expects us to live in a certain way god expects us to uphold him as the god of gods and you will find that if we start to write along our faith in god and wrought it about our knowledge and understanding of who god is we will find if we start to fear to the left and to the right of the world which means the things that god instructs us to do and we don't do it which means that the things that god said we are not to do and we do it we refine that as we meet over and over we consistently disregard his word we over and over put aside his word we somehow take his way for granted we trample it we shine it we don't need it we don't place it in and keep it in our heart we are going to find that we are going to end up with trials coming our way but this is not because god is taking us through a process this is because we deliberately presumptuously despise the word of the living god and this is exactly what happened in the scripture that i read a while ago when i read that the prophet heard and made a statement i hear the sound of abundance of rain we need to understand why there was drought in the first place and the bible makes it clear that there was a drought in the land verse 18 of the chapter that we read ahab was looking for elijah and elijah was cruel about where he was and abraham when the king was looking for elijah because he thought that elijah was the one that prayed that the heavens be locked up and that there be no rain for three and a half years so he was looking for elijah to kill him because he said that he elijah was the cause of the drought but it wasn't the prophet that was the cause it wasn't the man of god that was the cause when elijah and a had met a happy king looked at him and said to him are you the one that is troubling israel that is causing the drought and the starvation of the land and he started to take on elijah but elijah university looked at him and he answered and he said i have not troubled israel but you and your fathers in that hear what he says the reason for the drug know in that you are forsaken the commandments or you have forsaken the words of the lord and have followed yeah two things they did forsake the word disregard the word treat the word with impunity and then the second thing they embrace bear bear was a false god bill was in a multiple form you have a bail for sunshine you have a barrel for fertility you have a bear for certain things happen in nature so that depending on who the people were they could choose but i will take the sunshine bear as my god and they got the chance to choose their god so that they left them believing god because he established his word and they did not want to walk in the word so they reject the word and then choose the god that they want they want a god to just shine upon them and then anything that have to do with sunshine they say this is for me forget the other things i serve god but look here if we dare believe that we can choose the kind of god that we want to serve it's not going to happen in the church it's not going to happen where almighty god is concerned he is god alone he sets the rule he gives the instructions can i tell you that god is the one that established the way that we must worship him and as god said come into his grace with thanksgiving and enter his quest with praise be thankful unto him and bless his name then dear any of us come into his house and say look what we got through all of yesterday and we've got one turn around and praising i'm not going to praise god they are sourced by virtue of how they do things they signal that they are not in tune and in agreement with the world if the word says if you come to the altar to offer your sacrifice and do you remember that your brother of all attention you know what the world said get up leave the sacrifice find your brother reconcile with him and then come back and make the the sacrifice that's word but you know what happened to some folks it is possible if you find yourself seeing your brother have art and you say well me and him i will never talk to him i will never talk to her then go steer there and birth hello and guess what we still come to the altar and lift our hands can i tell you don't watch the lifting of hands because a lot of hands are lifted and people are experiencing drought if you are not in the world those you can only see people but my body can't feel god we are leave our hands raising and truth is in the land really by hand using and throat is in the land there is no way that we can sidestep the world the bible said let each other elevate others above themselves that means when you see a brother don't think you're above them don't talk down to them don't talk about them and you fear them whatever your people who you estimate of yourself you respect them and that is word if you find that you see a brother and you're near your brother and you have a situation i mean that don't talk to him and in this and in that and should be sensitive you're not in the world you've put the word aside watch how you wave your hands and lift them up to glory we need your knees from the altar and reconcile and walk in the world if you're not in the world and you find that you're going through the tough times don't feel yourself and think god is fixing you up no no no no no this one will bring upon ourselves because we are not in the world somebody praise the bible said in everything give thanks for this is the will of god in christ jesus concerning you if you brought yourself right here if you broke your foot why bring your neighbor why blame the supervisor and everybody the bible didn't tell us to blame anybody the bible said whatsoever situation we find ourselves in that is word you know why many of us are in a situation of drought we don't know the word and we're not living the world and some of us nearly word but we put it aside if we are backbiting christians if we are gossiping christians if we are cheering down christians boy excited to talk about this on the first sunday of 2021 we suppose the top with prosperity don't we supposed to talk about nice things don't well this is nice thing for me i'm for all of us it is important that we understand that we must walk in the world if we're not in the world drought is going to be over our land that is what happened to israel they are put aside the world they will be real too they will embrace bear because they wanted a kind of god in whom they could believe and trust whose priest i don't like hope the god of men deal with things so i'll just be with bear the god of destruction they get to choose their god but in the hopes of the living god you don't get to choose who god is there is only one god can i remind us his name is jesus you don't choose how to worship him we don't choose where to worship him we don't choose how to live and some people don't like you about them they don't want here so nobody in charge of them but i don't care who you think i want to tell you that god is in charge he's large and in charge he's big and he's powerful he sets the earth up in space without nothing ordering it up and he's just standing there all in space you have a look in the science book and you say earth and jupiter and mars and all the other planets you see any stick holding them up no no no they are held here by the power of almighty god because he is god and he is in charge he speaks a word and a word powerful it really planets it keep the milky way in orbit one word from god and everything stands in place it means that his words are powerful it means that his words are full of meaning dear any ddb man of god any dvd machines anybody like me anybody like you come to look at the word and put it one side and say i will be in my sin you know who god is so the word is everything and the god of the world is everything so what elijah was saying is said to ahab is not me that caused any problem in israel and caused the joke because you and your wife jezebel took some prophets away from the word of god cause the people to move from the world and then you know go in and bring a bear that falls god and start to worship before his god and he said these are the two things that have caused the trout upon the land we need to understand that in the story in the book we can extrapolate and bring it into the 21st century anybody that is not in the world and walking in the world need to take note because the truth was pronounced and elijah didn't just get up and talk of his own accord elijah got up because he got instructions from almighty god he got instructions from the god of heaven and said pray that there be no rain because the people have rejected the world the people have shunned the word and they have gone after strange gods uh and so the joke came upon the land and as long as the folks did not turn away the drought was there you might go through something for six months one year anybody know what it is to go through difficult times for extended period one year two years three years sometimes look here is three and a half years there was a drought there was buriness in the land there was starvation and people dying of tests it was during that time that the priest was so dry that god had to send elijah to a widower man to sustain him it was during that time that there was no water that god had to miraculously preserve the prophet and send him to the brook cherith the place was dry because the people reject i have a call to the saints of the most high god in this place let us get back into the world and treat the world with the respect that it must be treated with if we take the word of god lightly we're bringing down trout upon our lives we can come to and don't be fooled when it's in the church and fire because three quarter could be on fire and the other quarter is just jumping with everybody else but you're in trout your situation is empty your situation is dry you and god no that your hands are lifted and your lips are moving but your heart is barren you and god know that you're running and jumping but deep down there is emptiness and leanness of soul you and god know that it is not your neighbor that is causing the problem you and god no don't blame your neighbor don't blame your queer worker don't blame the church don't blame your brother and sister blame yourself be me because i am the one that not is not walking in the world when i am not in the world if the world said to worship and i don't worship are taking the word of god lightly if the words have to come take up your uh your offering and reconcile with your brother before you come and you're still come and you'll reconcile you're messing with the world you're bringing down drought over your life there can be rain in the church and drought over your life but i want to tell somebody in as much as this is fact and we better understand and appreciate it there is something that happened that was very important i was saying all of that because i believe that god wants to move not one not two not fifty percent but god wants to move a hundred percent of us all of us from drought to showers of blessing i feel that in my spirit i got that word from almighty god that something is about to burst it is going to burst on the church cooperate but it is also going to burst on the individual's lives there are folks that are struggling and it is not because god is taking you through a process not because god is taking you through a process not a process it's because we reject the word reject the word no please in our heart if it's not nine o'clock in the night we don't read nothing but thank god for nine o'clock we read but there's our next fears apart from reading it's not he that hear the word that is justified but he that do it the word that is justified so it is important that we embrace the word and it is important that we have a right understanding of who god is and recognize the sovereignty and the supremacy of the living god somebody praise god somebody praise god i am not talking off the top of my head oh hallelujah i have a word for somebody because i know that some folks are struggling and wondering but nobody can fool god we can pretend but we can't fool god we can shout and run but we can't fool god it don't make sense we try to kick it don't make sense we try to fight it doesn't make sense we try to push against the principles of almighty god just accept them just accept them and walk so we're going to walk in the world and we're going to embrace god i'm getting ready to close i'm getting ready to put the thing down but it is important as i close i showed that there was a turning point something happened before the prophet spoke the words i hear the sound of abundance of rain look at what happened and it is found in verse 13 verses 39 and 40 of the same first kings chapter 18 and i'm getting ready to close but follow me and when all the people saw it what did they see quickly elijah recognizing having said to him you have caused the people to sin because you have caused them to walk away from the word and then to serve other gods to be comfortable with what they want their god to do are how they want to live in the presence of dear god you have pushed them to bail him and with balaam anything goes any one of the gods that balaam represent could be my god i said it earlier if i want the sunshine to be my love then i balaam that is in charge of the sun will be my god if i want these are that so i choose the god that will make me comfortable but there's something about the word of god some things in it will make us uncomfortable but we can't get around it we better get comfortable with it we better do it because why it is the word of god nothing else to explain but that it is the word of god am i speaking somebody or can we praise god and that's very important now watch what happened ahab where elijah said to ahab go tell your wife jezebel get all the prophets of blm of baal ashtarov and we're going to go down to carmel and i am only one here standing representing the true and living god and elijah said the god that answers by fire let him be god because he said look here two things and here's let me just read verse 39 and when all the people saw it they fell on their faces what did they see elijah got all the prophets of baal and he represented the prophet of the living god and the god that answered by fire let him be god and you know the story well the other men that were living their lives outside of the way of god started to call on their god you know that if we think any of us we can treat god's word anyway and when we get into a predicament we turn to heaven and say lord help you know you know why help don't come many times come up being a being down to earth with you now can we quickly try to wrap up but let me interject this help don't come because we were relying before on other gods god of contacts god of all kind of other things god of money friends god of political affiliations and associations i know the big man up there god of this and god of that and so we really did not believe and trust in the living god so we have made and created idols out of all the little things and when we trouble come we can go to the politician who we say is the big man when we go to them they don't even have to be a call you don't get an answer because they're busy dealing with other people you don't understand how this thing going you say anywhere that you make up your god you better be prepared when trouble come to call on them and if they can't help you god my god what they're saying go all the same goes dog eat your supper but i thank god that my confidence is in him i thank god that there are a set of people that lose the living god and although some things in the world are rough it's hard but the disciples at one time this is a hard saying but you know what the disciples did they followed it nevertheless because it is the word of god when we walk in the world when we troubles come we can call upon the lord most high and he's going to hear us and he's going to enhance us from the sanctuary above somebody praise god and so the people started to jump into prance and call upon bail and guess what nothing happened and they shouted and they jumped some more and guess what nothing happened they cut their cells and everything and guess what nothing happened they found out that time that the gods that they were calling on were really no gods at all they had mouths but they couldn't speak they had ears but they couldn't hear and i like elijah i know eliza very comical very you know jovial full of humor elijah said to them hello hold on it looked like call him loader it looked like him come from vacation call him loader it looked like him jumping british airways and gone down to sandals to go have a good time call aliko loader his mock the bible said he was mocking them don't make nobody take you for fool serve the living god walk in his word if you have one foot in the church and one foot in the world people going laugh after your people go and mock you people you might think the people in the world are your friends they are not your true friend is in the church you better learn to love one another even with our differences put certain things aside and let the love of god flow because your true friend cannot be in the world they will laugh at you when your calamities come and so elijah was laughing at them and they carried on and nothing happened but then the true man of god called upon the true god of heaven and he said to the people come here through water it was drought in the land but the man was able to find water something about god the king never have no water him saying obadiah is servant to the east and the king went to the west looking for water and crap to save the few animals none was in the land but elijah knew where to find liquor water and in such true water and the altar and them through it it's a true more water is holy power you see when you can have a man of god like elijah that evening draw time can take folks to live in water is very important you know and the eliza said true water again the third time enough water in a dry and parched place so the place wet the place full of water no matches care light dear sir but when it comes to almighty god our god don't need no matches is a fire for himself and my god the bible said when elijah prayed immediately the fire fell and lick up the water and lick up the sacrifice and lick up the wood and burn and carried on the living god prevailed and show who he was and so we come to this verses to see the turning point when that happened the people saw and hear as i closed no what the bible said verse 39 and when all the people saw it they fell on their faces and they said the lord he is the god the lord he is the god the lord he is the god and elijah said unto them take the prophets of baal let not one of them escape and they took them and elijah brought them down to the brook of quechuan and slewed them there two things happen they mash up the false system and follow the things that they thought was god they recognized that they made an error and elijah said take the prophets of bear and kill them oh hallelujah then just before that in verse 39 they say the lord he is the god so they now recognize the god and therefore his word and they secondly destroyed the false gods if you are trusting in your intellect false god if you are trusting and having confidence in the politicians to bring deliverance and open that door for your false god if you are trusting in your contacts at the services commission to get that job for your force god we don't say you can't know people and call folks but before you call a man turn your voice and your heart up to heaven because that's where our help come from so they recognize god and his word and they got rid of the false god it was immediately when that was done that all of a sudden come over here i have something to tell you notice you know uh three and a half years they're struggling and they're going through three and a half years they were disregarding the word of god three and a half years they were embracing what they thought was right and this is what i am going to do and this is how i am going to do it they were doing their own thing false god three and a half years and there was no rain but as soon somebody i want somebody to rejoice i want somebody to rejoice because there is something in this world immediately that they put aside their presumption or presumptuousness and put aside their holding on to the false god and immediately when they accepted the true god and therefore accepted his word something happened something happened god sent a word to the prophet god spoke into his ears because hear what the people said and elijah said unto ahab i hear what elijah said get thee up eat and drink for there is the sound of abundance of rain no rain was going to come so long as they were harboring the false god and the presumptuousness rain would have come so long as they were walking outside of the world but as soon as they rejected the false god and as soon as they embraced the word something happened heaven got in contact with earth immediately and the word came to the prophet and the prophet said to the very man that caused the people to sin you know why he could speak that way because there was repentance when he said bring the prophets the people answered not a word because they knew that this was the moment of decision i believe this morning is a moment of decision because the rain is going to fall the rain can come but the lord whispered it into my ears there will be showers of blessing but we have got to according to how was it aimosa we have got to set the fallow ground in other words set up the ground that when the ruins come the water can penetrate and go where it should go so that there can be a harvest immediately afterwards i am saying this morning that there is the sound of abundance of rain the rain is about to fall the rain is about to come down the rain is about to splash all across the length and pressure of the church i am not even speaking now globally i have brought it right down to this place something is about to break up something is about to happen i think we have reached a turning point something in my spirit is telling me that ring will fall something in my spirit told me that things are going to be different i can speak for the church church of the living god get on your your clothes hello take down your helmet put on your big working shoes church of the living god get ready get ready get ready because something is about to happen there is about to be a downpour on the corporate body there is about to be an elevation of many amen in the church of the living god i don't want to so negative because you know i stand as a leader and i'm not being negative but i feel to tell you the truth as i see it i think 2021 is not going to be as nice as 2020 there is going to be even worse times to come but it doesn't matter i hear the sound of abundance of rain it means that even if things crash up on this earth where the people of god is concerned the rain is going to i feel the rain falling down on me already i feel rain it is coming it is coming it is coming make no mistake about it and so any one of us in the church of the living god can speak with confidence that 2021 is going to be my year [Applause] when the prophet said i hear the sound of abundance of rain there was no audible soul the rain never falls started falling yet nothing was happening the place was still perched but you've got to speak prophetically when you hear the voice of god you've got to know when to talk can i tell you sister i hear god whispering something in my spirit that it is about turning time it is about the point of departure where we are going to move from this experience to another experience something is going to happen and i thank god but when the preacher when the prophet said it he said something else he got his servant together and he said servant come here minister come here he said go down the bottom and go look i see if you see any crowd because i get a word and when the word is given look outside if you see any crowd and the man go and come back and say god um elijah me no nothing hello look again look good because the man looked the second time hello you see anything but look again because i know i hear something i hear the sound of abundance off where yesterday you said hello man at the fourth time that mean okay uh if you have a hundred times i hear the sound of abundance of you see anything go on back no not going not not going to turn me aside not not going discourage me not not going to take with this word not now you see anything seven times that you see something empty a cloud a little so that can't bring no friend hello me no clear how little it be if it's a clone it's a cloud i hear the sound of abundance of rain when the man went the second time the clouds show up how much time you got seven hello saying i've got look around now look to heaven now look around now look around now don't you see something look at the spirit now man don't you say something something is about to happen on the church corporate but as i close i come into the individual's lives because before [Music] the outpouring they had to embrace the word and put aside the false god i feel to speak to somebody individually right now in your seat right where you are seeing because you know that the ground is dry where you are you know that over your little turf it parts your soul is lean because you have not been in the world you're going to make an altar right where you are we going to make an altar right where we are oh hallelujah i know it is first sunday visitors are here no problem with that visitor if you are here and things have been bad for you it's simply because first of all if you don't know the lord you need to know him who to know is life eternal you have an opportunity right now to make it right in your life the altar is open for you anybody and if you're a saint of god you don't feel comfortable to sit down in your seat and ask god to tear up those things so that the rain can come the altars are open for you for all of us but i want us to know that the turning point when the thing broke when the fountains were let loose was at the point where they killed the servants of bear [Music] and where they embraced the god and the word of god it was only then that they were in a position to experience the raid [Music] are talking like a prophet [Music] because if we don't do it no the opportunity is going to pass oh hallelujah and what a thing if the ruins come bound to bank the water floor and you not in the midst of receiving water thing if the water waters come and you and i are still our own ways and the rudin come and everybody is basking in the blessedness of the water and you are standing and the rain is falling around and your ground is dry oh it doesn't have to be that way i close it doesn't have to be that way i believe the lord has sent a word for everybody this is the turning point this is the point at which the
