okay so this is everybody so you're doing that trial three two one go um what's up guys that's how i say that uh what's up guys it's dixie and today we're gonna be filming a youtube video with um my friend charlie my friend james um not my friend charlie hey guys it's dixie and today i'm going to be shooting a youtube video with my two friends and sisters oh and there you go clever and um we get a lot of comments of how we look like and we are going to make that happen or something james is going to do my makeup charlie's going to follow along and we are also going to be using the morphe 2 makeup and i'm super excited because charlie and i are the face of the morphe 2 collection and i'm super excited to share this with you guys and by the time this video is out you can purchase it at morphe.com or in morphe stores and soon in all morpheme retailers okay when people when people leave those comments do you guys think we do all look alike i think we do i think so too i mean we have all the same features like our facials facial structure is not the same but james's nose is like in between dixie and eyes like and then you just have bigger lips and a sharper jaw than well it's called filler without that we probably would like cool let's do it great basically i'm going to be doing dixie's makeup and charlie's going to follow along because charlie's professional emu right and dixie is not so oh my shade is hint of pecan minus hint of beige i used hint of latte if anybody's wondering i don't know why you never would be so i'm just gonna squirt some of the tinted moisturizer skin tint if you will onto the back of my hand okay and then i'm going to just apply this with the brush from the collection oh this actually is a good match for you this is the two brush i'm just gonna rub this all into the face and charlie's gonna do the same thing so how's everyone's day [Laughter] so what do you guys really think of me six out of ten [Laughter] actually what was your first impression i was literally i was going to suggest that you should say that um i okay my first impression of okay well my first impression okay my first impression of charlie was actually not good because i'll tell you why so when i first discovered charlie i was like oh my god who's this girl because it was when i first joined tech talk right and i had looked on charlie's instagram she was already following me so i was like oh my god this is kind of cute like so i messaged her she wrote back right away but then i was like oh my god i would love to do your makeup sometime and then she didn't respond like three different times in a row then i was like oh my god we should film we're like oh yeah i'm just like really busy right now and i was like okay like me too but like we should try to film something and it was just like really like i was like oh my god she must like hate me or something like this is just something no no no no i want to tell you actually what happened um is there is there tea that i don't even know about yeah because then when i even heard the high five shoot you guys were literally the nicest but my first impression no she was there one time when you were there and she hid why i was scared of you why i don't know but she's like scared of me for a really long time i've been what no no because i've been watching you since i was like for a very long time and um i told my parents when you had dm'd me and i was like i don't know what to say like i'm scared like you i just want to do my makeup like what did i do so i was just really really nervous and i didn't know like what to say because you were one of the first like you were like one of the first people to like reach out and be like hey like let's collab that i've like watched for a long time oh really we're super scared like just didn't know what to say you were there and she hid around the corner what i was terrified i still am [Laughter] oh my god what the heck well that makes me sad okay your first impression no your my first person was actually really good i feel like me and charlie obviously got along because we were able to relate on a lot of different stuff because of like what's happened with like the rise of fame and like social media and stuff but i feel like you and i got along really well because of our age like it was it was nice because like obviously charlie's a little bit younger it's like it was it was not like the same it was like more mentors it was more mentorship relationship rather than like oh best friends was like i feel like you and i clicked really really fast in terms of like not only the social media stuff but also like we could we had a lot in common i guess my first impression of you was you were really really mean what was your first impression of me i thought you were super nice oh good i was terrified that makes me sad no i was like and then i met you first i think i was like he's so nice you did meet me first yeah we're just blending this all in over dixie's face who's who's your guys's favorite person that you bought in l.a that's hard i love everyone i feel like i love everyone for different reasons though that's just a safe answer okay actually favorite person who's been like somebody that you guys like i don't know i don't know like are you talking about like mentorship or like friendship type things do you feel like i found a lot more mentors out here than either bryant has probably been the realest to me from the beginning yeah brian's awesome charlie what about you for me well there's a lot of people that i can look to like everyone's a mentor because you're like five yeah so it's like everyone everyone who's in la like doing what they're doing that has like already been in my position it's really cool because they just feel so comfortable speaking to me as like they just want to help yeah like you um there's so many people like emma emma chamberlain has been a really really good mentor to me like i call her a lot to just check up on things and like you guys are just all really good at like helping me through situations when i'm having a tough time middle school put it below below your jawline not there here you'll need to help her i will i'm using tarte shape tape in the shade deep to give a nice cream contour on top of this beautiful morphe skin tint we haven't used any powder yet which normally in my makeup routine would be horrifying but it actually lays down really nicely as you can see i'm awful at makeup so that's why james is doing mine i was doing my makeup and james walked into my room at playlist and i was freaking out because i was like can you go away i don't want you to watch me do my makeup cause i'm so embarrassed and he was like just watching me and then i was like can you help me and so he pulled me to his room and like had his whole set up and then did like a wing and i was like oh my god this is the best thing ever you that are like there's like a weight liner like well this is groundbreaking nose too yeah of course you gotta smash the nose what's wrong with my nose nothing you just can't put contour around your face and then not do the nose because then it just looks like weird okay now i'm gonna grab the wonder tint cheek and lip mousse in the shade dream and we're gonna use this as a cream blush on dixie's face what are you going to do when tick-tock deletes if it does oh my god i mean i i have i'll be fine i mean yeah charlie um i just keep dancing like i've been doing my whole life i feel like it's literally not going anywhere like i know people were freaking out a few days because there was a glitch but it's like i spend so much of my time yeah no i don't like it's not even funny that looks so pretty me yeah thanks you too turn okay so now we're gonna use the gloss pop face and eye gloss and i'm gonna squeeze a little bit of this onto the back of my hand and i'm gonna use this to add a little bit of glow to dixie's face who's um your favorite person you've ever collabed with i will i will say charlie's club was very very fun i feel like my favorite collabs have either got to be kylie or probably david well i did makeup relay race with the vlog squad um and that was just an adventure and a half like that it was just so much fun being there all of them were so crazy that it was just like so it was just like a riveting experience and just filming with kylie was just such an unreal thing especially because like that happened when i barely i was only at like i think eight or nine million subscribers at the time i don't even remember i was at only eight or nine so like and okay i say that i see only eight or nine uh obviously that's still an insane amount but in comparison to where we are now i mean i was still like kind of like the beginning of my career it really felt like it's like that was just such a cool opportunity and working with her and her team was just like they were really really good what about you charlie um me i would have to say i feel like there's been so many collabs that i've been so excited for i would have to say the same thing about david's david and i like being able to be in his video with something super super amazing obviously james just because he's someone that i've looked up to for a long time and definitely j-lo because yeah that was a dream of mine for a very long time i don't have i even collabed with anyone that looks so good me turn to the side that looks so good that's a twin okay okay so the base is looking really really good i'm gonna use a little bit of brow gel now to make dixie's brows look nice and fluffed my eyebrow hairs are so long see same i do my brows every two days i do too all the time okay this is looking really famous okay i'm just gonna put any excess that i have on my contour brush onto dixie's eyelids just to make sure that there's no creasing in that the skin tint that we used earlier and then i'm just gonna grab a little bit of powder as well into just the cap i'm going to powder any areas where it's just a little bit oily who's one person you want to collab with uh for a video i really want to do dojo cat's makeup we've been talking about it for a while too it just hasn't happened yet now i'm going to have you curl your own eyelashes do we want to give you a lash so you can look like charlie or do you think okay yes um charlie do you want to apply the nice lip tint like i did while you're waiting for dixie sure sure okay we're gonna use some ardell wispies these are nice natural everyday girl on the go lashes which is very synonymous with the morphe 2 campaign what's your favorite thing about having supporters i feel like the feeling of being able to make people happy even when i'm like not doing well is nice it's like a comforting thing in a weird way i'd agree i feel like they make me want to keep posting even when sometimes i don't feel like it yeah your mascara is crunchy then get a different one there's a hundred of them over there your mascara is crunchy it is you don't have to wear mascara to get lashes those eyelashes don't want to stack you also don't have those problems when you get lash extensions oh gorgeous describe yourself in three words talented amazing smart we should do each other oh that how about three nice ones and three mean ones okay sure okay charlie um i think you're pretty i think um you're strong and um mature three mean ones um um self-conscious rude and you yeah it doesn't count and um smell james hard-working mature also and responsible three mean it's not mean ones it's honest ones oh wow loud oh extreme wow okay uh dramatic true wow the truth comes out ladies are she's crushing me um i don't want to say another one i mean you could just do smells it smells as well oh you know that i swallowed i know you smell okay um dixie three nice words is she's protective of this i mean that's a good audito um she's stylish when she wants to be she can make really cute outfits and i'd say you're confident in the things you do three mean words you are bossy you are controlling and oof you're negative oh i am not yet no i am not oh god here we go negative about what negative about me okay we'll get over it i'm just making you stronger really i feel like we're in elementary school right now this is so funny okay did you two use mascara and like connect like okay pinch i need you to pinch yeah just make him connect oh my god it looks good on here yeah but oh my god have you ever poke someone in the eye yeah oh who's the biggest person even poked in the eye did you do charlie oh no oh my god no okay um descriptive words let's see you're really sarcastic but in a really good way like is this a good thing or a bad thing no good starting off with the positives or should we start off with sarcastic is it yes i love sarcastic people like you have a good sense of humor like you have a fun personality to be around i like you're very honest like you're straightforward and i really like that other person as well i'm trying to think of good ones not just like oh fun cool i really like that you like you're your own person like instead of like obviously you guys are together but like i like that you're trying your best to like try that is so shitty you you're trying you're trying and succeeding you're trying and succeeding at like building your own brand and like trying to be separate from each other which i think is really really cool um negative those could have all been negative things well those are all good things i can't think of anything negative you're late yeah i am that's that is not a good one yeah last night let me just last night okay we were all going to dinner together sure we said okay be there at 9 30 made the reservation got there there's a line outside 30 people great james will stand in line sure sure sure i'll be the friend that stands in line a couple in front of me awful tinder date so uncomfortable kids behind me get in line start asking me all these questions about who i am they're like oh what do you do for work as they're like i know that they these kids got in line basically out of like an uber tv they're like these kids are like new to l.a it was like all these like little blonde girls and this like boy in like full glam so i knew they knew who i was and they're like god they're like oh my god is that james i can hear them whispering about me and then one of the girls can't say oh can i see your nails oh yeah sure and then she's like oh where are you from it's like oh new york like asking a lot of questions oh do you like living there like well i don't live there i live in l.a now how long have you been living here for to go back home to visit often i said no not really i try to avoid it at all costs kind of just go back like whenever i have work she goes what did you do for work i was like girl are you like you've got to kitty right now it was so and then thank god addison called me at the same almost like i answered the phone and then as soon as i hung up she's like can i get a photo of you i was like why would like yeah sure but what it was i was so uncomfortable dixie i had texted as soon as i got there i was like what's your eta he's like oh 20 minutes literally dixie did not get there until an hour and ten minutes i was throwing up that's a medical emergency that counts well you should have thought about that before you did whatever it caused you i ate a bunch of rice from a food truck and then i puked a personal problem yeah but i am late planned your time i'm i'm late but i always get things done so that's why i'm like oh you should have seen i'm a super i like to tell he likes to be everywhere early me too i liked him dixie and i dixie drove me to school so that was a big problem that we both faced we were late every single day i was too i was literally speeding to school every single day okay let's
