IT'S WORTH OVER $3,000 | Thrift With Me

I spent almost ,000 on jewelry but I'm going to turn it into at least 3,000 wait till you see what I [Music] got I've been a reseller for nearly 40 years and I can't imagine my life without thrifting I've learned about a lot of things over the years and I love to share my knowledge and Advent with you so let's go be profitable and make it fun I am here at the Paradise Valley Antique mall parking lot sale now I love these antique mall parking lot sales because this is where both vendors who have space inside bring stuff out stuff that they just like they want to clearance it and other people set up and they they buy the space and it's like a fle flea market it's as close as we have to a flea market here in Las Vegas so I love these and it is the season and uh we're going to go see what we can find that is of great value for a little money you know Buy Low sell High that's how we do this game so let's get over there let's get shop done all right so it looks like quite a few vendors are out today and we are going to go check it out oh Snow White and the one two three four five dwarfs oh no there's seven all seven are there do like that little set view Master Bonanza okay we struck a deal I got them for $30 I couldn't resist pretty little lamp says something vandor oh there it is 1997 it's like a little gargoyle that is hand painted in Holland what are you asking on this piece $20 20 it's a good price it's beautiful it those are all 50% off the prices oh thank you you're welcome 50% off the Mark Price that's some old dollhouse furniture my goodness you can offer me something for the whole box if you're in do some old these oh wow true view she does stand properly I just had to kind of stand there the wind yeah wind I got some little mixed jewelry over here look at these earrings holy moly those are earrings I know those are great they're so fun they're not marked we don't know who made them how much are they $2 the only thing that's got money attached to it is the Brighton necklace for 20 the bracelet there's two bracelets for five no for 10 and these earrings are brighten and they're okay oh wow everything else oh there's two of those too look at those dollar a dollar okay so it's two for these and then a dollar for these I didn't even see are these sign and it doesn't even matter because they're so fun all right pretty little pen okay we'll take that one is that a bracelet oh it is a bracelet it's got a little cross on it it do have a little rhinestone cross that's very sweet okay oh I like him little airplane little airplane oh those are pierced I expected those to be Clips I know it they look like they look like they would be Clips yes see okay so far I've got this let me keep looking on your table here these are fun oh they're Syracuse so they would be restaurant wear3 my goodness $3 for that whole [Music] set you are going to sell a lot today I just don't know where to go look at that beautiful little picture this is her $2 table I must have that for $2 I also pulled this beautiful Bowl it is signed it says parsley 94 look at that for $2 yes this $1 table look at this vase the opening is a heart for $1 for $1 what does the paper say on the front of the table there $1 I know I think I have to have that these are melamine I'm trying to see who makes them their threshold would have been a Target brand so much stuff can't take it all cannot take it all look at this old bowling ruler that is great Indiana and Michigan electric company I kind of love that I kind of and I kind of need I kind of need a ruler so I'm GNA get that too these candlesticks are intriguing silver Twisted oh they say Mariposa 1997 and there is a pair oops sorry Al there's a pair that are slightly different sizes they're kind of cool and I think they would clean up well so I think I'm going to grab those too taking a peek at the little mid-century ice bucket here too Hampton Forge stainless steel it's in remarkable condition and it's $2 we'll grab that too oh I see these pillows back here with horses on them you know who would like those those are great for Rachel's room I just found these Roy Rogers sings Cowboys never cry I love that what do we got this one is Roy Rogers also are these all Roy oh they're all Roy Rogers oh they're all Roy Rogers okay we're going to get that little collection right there too so I spent $20 on everything I got and she gave me a little coupon for 50% off her booth on the inside of the mall so we're going to go in there and check that out too that is a cool little picture look at this the black glast stopper in the accents stopper is just a little top heavy though let's look at the pretty jewelry that might be a little Whiting in Davis I don't know if their prices are as marked or they're giving discounts out here a lot of times the price tags are from inside and then they bring it out here and they discount it and there's nobody in this booth to ask look at these chairs I have no place for such chairs but I love them ooh these hats look these look these look warm and cozy right about now I mean I am wearing one yeah I've got this one this one actually has an attached little scarf to it too so this is why I wear this one keeps me cozy little gingerbread people are kind of fabulous I'm trying not to pick up little stuff I'm trying to really keep my sights on things that I can do less work and make more money that's the goal I am kind of in love with this and it lights up yeah it's I I think I see it yeah I think I see it oh yes I see it they're blinking oh I must have that for $5 yeah I'm getting that H there little doggy look at these are Temptations and this little cute little holder that's great they got little Lids on them that's a nice piece The Big Cheese are these little little old Santa soaps candles soaps soaps candles soaps oh those are weighted those are heavy they are Onida Community they're beautiful heavy candlesticks I like those a lot New Orleans bottle caps see what else we've got oh tape see I could fill Rachel's Christmas stocking with tape and she'd be a happy girl I don't know what she does with all of it but she goes through a lot of tape oh I'm taking this step back to the car I'm buying this for me personally I've said it before I love trees and making this look like a window I got to figure out what wall I'm going to put it on for the holiday days but I absolutely love it maybe I just put it in my office cuz I don't really have a good window in my office you know what I think that's what I'm going to do and he also had these bags of little succulents I got both bags for $3 these are fun little handcrafted I love handcrafted things I admire people who can make handcrafted things really do got some trolls I love these little banks that are made to look like are they supposed to be like safe deposit boxes or PO Boxes there's been a debate about that some old Linens Piggies ooh those are really pretty bowls some studio art Pottery but I love the colors they have different weights also tells you they're like oneof a kind Studio pieces you know each one is tone this one they think they used a little bit more clay even though they match they little quirky and that they don't match I'm going to find out how much those are okay they were $2 each so we're getting those this is another pretty piece $2 $2 is kind of price oh that's made in Spain I don't like this one as much as I like this one I really like this one I don't know would you would you get this one for $2 I'm feeling like I'm going to leave this one I don't know $2 how I mean how can I go wrong at $2 okay I'm going to get both of those too look at this fantastic cake aluminum cake server I just never I'm get that's great it's not really the type of thing that I sell but it's great look at this one's only $2 look it it's a hand made in Spain it's the same as that little blue one for $2 and it's so holiday themed I'm going to grab that too got some spice of live we've got a little vanity bottle that's nice [Music] tempted so many tempting things so many tempting things oh thank you oh let's see what else can I not live without got some Jewels what is that say that says Dena G are pretty fun but it's got a barcode so not super old oh my so much stuff look at the colors on that vase right there see what that says on the bottom says Studio Design works that is so fun fun and colorful those are cute those are some oldies okay all kinds of little handmade things I like to buy Jordan like handmade things cuz then I can be sure it's not something that she's gone out and bought herself because you know she's a shopper like her mom so it can be challenging sometimes all right I just found some Christmas presents for Jordan which obviously I cannot film because you know she watches my videos so so Jordan sorry it's not something on your list cuz I like to be unique oh this is kind of a a digging kind of a booth here see what we can uh dig up lots of milk glass goodies goodies goodies oh look at that bird of paradise he's pretty spectacular lots of boxes I literally cannot feel my hands right now which is kind of a problem this is interesting that's not part of it let me get that off of there oh goodness oh maybe not or maybe it is no it's not I'm trying to figure out what this is now what are you you're not I don't know what I thought it was I was going to say it's not what I thought it was but I don't know what I thought it was oh gosh this spins this goes around I'm I'm not sure oops and I'm not even showing you I'm not sure what that purpose of that is anybody know little Burberry W oh it's a it's a little piggy bank oh it is so cold there's a little breeze that just like it just goes through your soul what does that say handcrafted by the master Carvers on the island of the Bali non-endangered species that's kind of cool oh these guys are cute home Coke put it in your home those are salt and peppers oh made in Japan little salt and peppers those are adorable she's got 15 on them oh I like that one oh I like that one a lot I was doing a live oh and it got a little boo boo I'm sorry the elves yeah um I'm doing them for 12 each it's a small one it is it's cute thank you how much is he I can do for 28 28 okay look how cute he is why do I love glass so much I want it all I see you I have one like this but he's got a different design on him I mean I have a little bit of everything in the turtle Department he's from Haiti yeah mine is from Haiti as well what are these little guys little pepper shakers little wood oh there they are there's some really nice things here really nice things look at that teapot that's beautiful that is Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas that is another Jordan favorite I might have to get that one she would put him on her shelf and put like a plant in him all right we are going to head inside and get warm so I just went over to the ladies room to uh blow my nose because I'm on defrost mode and in this case I found these absolutely stunning nesting dolls all horse themed we just got done all hand painted oh boy anywhere from like 75 to $90 a set I found a little grouping of some some jewelry with some good pricing unfortunately this has what's called a dark stone and that usually happens if moisture Gets behind it somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's why a lot of times on better pieces there's a it's open in the back so it can breathe but when there's no opening it just kind of ruins it if it gets wet that's too bad because that would have been a beautiful piece otherwise that's a really pretty piece but it's also missing a stone look at this amazing guy he is soap stone look at the detail on his face there's a little teeny tiny little chip on his ear but I feel like you could even like sand that and never even know because it didn't really change the shape of his ear H he is only is that a five or an eight I think it's an eight 8 I think for $8 we're g to pick him up I've also got my eye on this uranium glass cake plate for 15 I feel like that's a really good price but it does have one little ding right there which is that's causing my hesitation so I'm going to think about that one I do like the big reindeer back there he's only [Music] 12 I'm very drawn to this piece I love the shape this is McCoy it's only $6 you know what if it's not reselling for enough to resell it and make a good profit I will use this in one of my pieces this is a pattern I am familiar with this is three face and these don't look like reproductions these look like the real deal this is a pattern that was reproduced quite heavily H but these look good they went $10 now it says set it does say set even though they have the price tag on each one these are 18800 beautiful antique glass we're going to pick those up for 10 bucks I'm kind of digging this set next to it too with the the blue hob nail oh it's got some broken pieces on it though okay that one we're going to have to leave looking through this booth here I was looking at the beads and I did find some fun beads that I'm going to use some of my own little crafting projects and then I found found a couple of pieces of jewelry this little cat let's see he's upside down there we go the little cat necklace for five and then this beautiful looks like peacock colors here this necklace for eight we're going to grab those I spotted a beautiful Morano glass Christmas tree it's got its original tag right there which is always a great thing to find FOH and lazarini is the name on this one now you'll notice it is open on the bottom but it is still a clear polished bottom they are asking 65 which is a little bit discounted off of what you can get it for online uh this goes for like $75 to $80 beautiful piece we've made it to boost 63 or it's all 50% with my little coupon so we're going to have to dig in here and find some goodies look at a little bit of jewelry I am loving shipping jewelry got to tell you oh that's a little fabric ribbon choker very elegant little Crystal stretch it is stretch though and I can't remember no see it's it's little little wire stretch so I don't think that's anything super fantastic that I will regret not picking up I think these are how light let's take a peek they're little dyed hoight teardrop earrings but it's not high quality metal so we're going to leave those and then this caught my eye actually this caught my eye first and then I looked up and I saw the matching neck necklace wellow that made it easy look at this piece this looks so I'm going to say midcentury possibly bake light and it's got this matching clamper bracelet so this is wood that's definitely wood so then I'm wondering if this is Bake Light see how much is this it's pretty it's pretty fantastic that's what it is see if we can oh it's only it's $8 $8 with the uh 50% off oh my goodness I'm making a mess standby there we go now I've got the full full thing in view it's got a lobster CL it's got like a double little Lobster Claw thing going there oh my gosh it's it's great it's great we're picking that up now I have to look and see what else is up here cuz that was pretty that was pretty fabulous that's kind of a cool little gold tone with rhinestones nothing else is really calling me like that one did yep I think I think that's our only one got some Cobalt I think Hazel Atlas I believe this is Hazel Atlas if I am remembering correctly the Chevron pattern this is pretty cool it's got the uh the creamer the sugar and the larger piece it would be $17 for all three pieces I'm I'm going to consider that well that's kind of nostal algic and fun especially with it being in its original packaging oh he's not a squeaker at least he's soft but he's not squeaking so 75 so he'd be what is that 35 like 3750 I think that's pretty great with him being in his original packaging I was a waitress at Bob's Big Boy I worked at the one that was across from Disneyland I found a set of these are Hazel Atlas I'll show you the mark a little uh milk glass there it is whoops it's the H and the a Al together there very hard to see set of four would only be $9 I'm picking those up see what other goodies we can't resist she has lots of fun stuff I just picked up this little miniature mannequin dress form that says Paris on it for $8 I'm going to grab that and I'm kind of in love with this gorgeous piece of Czechoslovakian Pottery it would be $24 I don't think I can leave it behind I'm going to grab it and this amazing Fenton standard ribbed swung vase in a carnival glass my hands are full so I can't can't quite see what the color is on the bottom stand by it is the cobalt blue I'm in love I love this little enamelware little picture would it be like a it's bigger than a creamer but would have have been for milk but I love this the most look B rossing 1978 so we have some provenance it's really nice this booth is 25% off and it is $10 so it would only be 750 we're g to grab that that's kind of a cool idea to take a piece of a granny square Afghan and put it on a little hoop and make it a wall hanging clever look at these candle holders oh it's is it I'm not sure what it is Red Heart candlestick holders pair I see okay I didn't see hearts at first I guess that you could see hearts in that I was just wondering what the material was though because it's it's not quite Stone but it's not quite plastic I'm kind of leaning towards glass that looks like an old paint by numbers I do believe it is that is awesome how adorable is this it's made from nails and then the heads of the nails are painted with flowers metal petals is what it says there and it is 2195 very very cool so much Cool Kitty stuff in this booth I was going to say you look like Lennox fun I did buy a whole bunch of jewelry that I'm going to have to do a little bit of a a showand tell at the end because she was wrapping it all up for me as we were going but for 650 I think I'm going to grab this awesome Pottery cat mug well you know how I feel about these guys guys 48 she's got a good price on him I mean that is what they're worth let's see what other goodies I might not be able to live without so this booth has some old China head dolls unfortunately the China head dolls have gone down a bit in value and I'm not exactly sure why probably because they are reproduced this looks old the body looks old now the oldest would probably have been what they call a kid leather which is a goat skin but this girl is is definitely an older doll see for eight oh my gosh okay $8 so let me see how much this one is she is a little blonde doll this one is marked very very hard to see what it says but I do believe it says Germany she's also just $8 I have to I have to rescue these and this one is 10 probably because she is wearing clothes but she's also got little porcelain feet oh guess that one does too I think these will sit really nicely with my antique shoe collection I am I'm kind of enamored with these three um these I'm going to I'm going to leave these ones although I do really really love them it's not really the kind of doll that I collect yeah I can't see if she's marked it would be down underneath let me see what her body is made of sorry honey I have to look under your dress here just momentarily oh wow her she's completely clothed so it's very hard to tell if she is cloth yeah she's like a muslin cloth okay I'm gon set you there I'm GNA look at this one I love the clothing on this one I really do love the clothing on this one oh my gosh I did not come here to buy stuff for myself today set you down on this little table take a peek yeah she is the like the muslin cloth body as well but she's got she's got her legs I really love this one ah okay I I guess I'm going to rescue her too look at these amazing old Christmas stockings with all the ribbon work on them there are three of them and they are only 750 each I am picking those up hi am in one of my favorite booths in this mall I believe this dealer just collected a lot of things herself a lot of the jewelry and the things mixed in looks like it comes from a personal collection and I have met her in person and she is an amazing lady uh but there is some jewelry that I'm going to pull out of these cases for sure and I'm going to look at a couple other things what did I I saw something down here like once I got my hands empty I was going to get and now I can't remember what it was oh goodness I'm going to have to figure that out but I did pull this off the wall so anything with a green X is half price and uh this would only be $4 for this beautiful made in Mexico piece of pottery plate ready for hanging it's gorgeous I can't see the price on the little pink beads but I do see that it is signed I'm going to say that says trari three maybe hold on let me look still can't see it even zoomed in I need to get into this case and I need to see how much it is this blue enamel piece right here is catching my attention and then there are some other kind of fun pieces oh there's like a serpentine necklace there with a very '90s kind of oh she even calls it '90s it's only 5 so I'm definitely going to get that one and I'm going to see if that's Stone I'm going to pick up these cute piano pins I believe that says $5 for both and this says it's signed this Serpentine so I'm going to pick this one up for 12 I see a sterling piece back here that is half price says it is Sterling something can't read that tag but look it's beautiful we're going to grab that for 750 and a copper cuff bracelet for just $5 and what shopping would be complete without a pair of uh made in USA baked potato salt and peppers for $5 look at this fun piece it says Pottery Shack original by Jack Taylor it's signed all over the bottom and it's only $12 irresistible look at this beautiful piece back here they're calling it English Wedgewood there's the mark made in England Wedgewood emboss emboss six Queens wear it's got some old crazing which I absolutely love on an antique piece like this it just gives it that character this one is half price it is just $7.50 it's got to come with me this apple is catching my eye I'm having to hang out in this booth a little bit waiting for help so I'm just like shopping uh this is fun now I don't think it's an apple I think it's a Hol Berry what do you say those look like holly leaves right it's a wall pocket and they're saying it is McCoy Apple wall pocket but I'm not so sure it would only be $10 it does have a tiny little bit of glaze wear there but I think for 10 I'm going to pick it up this is what I had seen and I knew was underneath here so this is a set of the horse I believe these are Federal Glass very midcentury it's a set of eight of them half price so they're only $17.50 for the entire set I'm grabbing those I just pulled this old old basket off the wall it is only $3 I think it's pretty fantastic we're going to grab that okay I found a couple things in this cabinet look at this Tangerine Pilgrim it's like a milk pitcher for 15 crackle glass amazing and then this piece I think it's leaning towards Blanco I I've seen this before it's not priced so they'll have to call the dealer for a price but I'm leaning towards getting that one as well it's beautiful that's really really big to deal with so I think I'm just going to get the two pieces of glass out of this cabinet okay I got a few I got a few things out of the jewelry case you're just gonna have to uh stay tuned to find out what all I ended up with look at the size of that blow mold 50 bucks I feel like that's a good price although I saw somebody talking about the uh blow molds kind of coming down in value from where they were they used to be like a super super hot item and now they've uh they cooled off just a bit it happens it happens I absolutely love the style of these paintings the texture right see if that's coming through absolutely just pops Off the Wall they're asking 155 for the pair of those not in my budget but I really do love these of course all the blues drawing me into this booth look at those blue grapes I do love those and then we enter the Pink Zone how fun is that oh my gosh look at that big pink pig up there such a feminine nice merchandised Booth okay I found a couple more goodies I couldn't pass by and I am headed to go check out and see what my total is I'm going to have to do some kind of a a different recap beyond my regular recap for all of the jewelry and kind of yeah what's the jewelry this is the jewelry that I didn't show cuz I bought piles so I have to do something with that be watching for me to do something with that anyway I'm going to head to the checkout stay tuned for a recap I will tell you everything I bought except for the jewelry how much I paid and how much it's worth that's coming
