IT'S FIXED!!! First Ride On Abandoned Yamaha Yt175 Three Wheeler

correct eyes welcome to a new video I ended up getting the recoil fixed that was not too bad to do and then I was trying to fix some of the oil pump issues we were having I just blocked off the whole oil pump so I've sealed all the potential air leaks in the system and everything's good to go and we've been doing is pouring gas on the carburetor and it's been starting every single time and the idles fear about you know it seems running for about five seconds and then dies and I'm thinking that might not be getting enough gas I'm not sure but um yeah I'll show you guys here quick so every time I pour gas down there it starts up check this out Sonia sounds like exactly enough gas but that happens every single time now which is good last video it wouldn't start at all so something happened where you know I got to run a lot better I notice the gas cap is off I don't know what that if that has anything to do with it but maybe we should put the gas cap back on so I can pump a lot better I'm not sure maybe that's why it's dirty I'm not I'm not too sure let's try certain it one more time and then try get this thing so we can ride it I I've been working on this thing for four days now and I just really want to ride it so see see that's where we are right now with it I don't know what to do now maybe try putting more gas in the gas tank I'm not too sure because it seems like it's running a high gas pretty quick so let's try to stuff B we're going to try to stuff the the carburetor with some paper towel and just see if it you know it's just getting too much air I'm not sure so let's just try that quick try stuff in this paper towel in there [Music] see that a lot better I kind of plugged up the carburetor with my hand and you could see that it lasted a lot longer so maybe it needs the air filter back on there not sure but we're going to keep on going at it maybe the pipes clearing out I did take off a little bolt on the bottom of the pipe right down here so maybe it wasn't getting in the bear I'm not sure but uh we'll keep at it and hopefully we can ride this thing today that baby is idling oh yeah yeah look at that always Oh baby look at that all right oh nothing better than that nothing better than that sweet I though Dan great forget about the idol for a bet come back to it but I did not think that was gonna run that's off all right guys I cannot believe this thing started like I said I was working on this thing for four days and it would not start up no matter what so a couple different things I did I think maybe meaning effect I took out the bolt right here about the pipe so maybe it was able to breathe a little bit better than any --there i blocked off the line that went to the oil pump that was coming out of here and it wasn't connected so I blocked bad off and plugged it up y'all said you I did a couple things to the carburetor I change the flow head again but yeah nothing nothing major and it just you know I put some gas on the carburetor with the little tube with the little cup and I stirred it up and that would stop right away it would start it up and stop anyway I would start up that would stop it I'm like what the heck something like there's got to be like an air leak or something so I so I held the carburetor on the side and it was idle so I'm like what the heck so maybe it just need to be run and you know once it ran it got better and better and better I'm not sure maybe the seals were you know a little bit hardened in the motor and once they got warmed up they expanded and got rid of the air leak I am Not sure but you know I put brand new oil in the tube I don't know if that did anything but all I know is I'm happy and now watch this guy's watch this I can pull this thing over I don't want to jinx it but I'm pretty sure I can pull this thing over and it'll start up right away let's see if I can get it let's see if it'll start up right away the last time last time I turn to the office started right back up so we'll see ya [Music] [Music] [Music] so I think we're running out of gas right now there's not a whole lot in the tank but on me I it it it starts up pretty good so right now I'm gonna make this little seat for it you can take it for a ride a couple strips of wood and there's already Han Jahn here looks like you guys welded the hinge on but I will put that piece of wood right there then we're gonna tie the the cushion to the piece of wood that way we've got a nice comfy ride but um but yeah then we can take a ride and see how it rips this thing I can already tell it's a ton of power so it should be pretty exciting then we'll try to make the light work and all that fun stuff after so I'm just happy it works I'm I'm happy I didn't give up on it I was very very close yesterday to giving up on this thing so let's take a free ride and see how it wraps would you look at this look at this nice little hinge dang perfect put the cushion end right over there and take it for it alright guys so we go first ride this thing hopefully I'll start I'm guessing it might let's see needs a little shot of gas down the carburetor good thing we have the handy dandy F seat we made for it let's see if a little shot down here and give a trick a little shot of gas down here usually seems to do the trick let's see it there we go I don't have a break [Music] Oh we're moving think it's too far see if it'll start up again I think we're in neutral something's like rubbin on that thing yeah we didn't get too far with that did not like that rubbing I don't know what that was but we'll try to do another shot of gas down here it's probably not good that one wheel as I completely flat either well it doesn't help too much I love man it's awesome yes [Music] second gear chittering I'll turn up here we need to put the air filter back on I think but yeah it's not getting enough gas they don't think yeah so what the problem could be is that the air filters none so it's getting too much air which I think that's what it is so let's put the air filter back on and then try this right again all right guys we've got the air filter kind of on here so let's take this thing for another ride top weights a little bit better here in knocking but sucking gear right there yeah I don't have a break so that's that's not good runs a lot better with the air felt around uh we gotta take her through the snow here let's see if she goes oh yeah baby oh no this up is deep that's a little too deep [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] alright guys so that was pretty fun we got up to speed I went through almost every gear and now the thing go is pretty dang fast went down the road here I bet you I bet you could go like 50 miles an hour so it definitely goes pretty cool little machine so now we're going to get everything bolted up and you know start working on the cosmetics I think it's running pretty good I need to one more thing I need to do is just tighten up these these attachments right here this thing is kind of just knocking in there so I'm gonna tighten that up and then I want to get the air filter on a little bit better and then we'll work on oh look at that broke right there we're getting you a different hose for that because that's that's not acceptable that keeps on breaking that's probably probably why I wrapped up at the end there you can see the line broke for that yeah I'm just really happy it runs we came a long way since the last video I'm pumped about that I think what we're gonna do now is just like I said before get everything tightened up on it good to go and then we'll work on cosmetics check that out that's good one more thing fixed on this thing all I did was connect one of these wires up here this one right here that
