It's FINALLY Real! Wildfire Lifts Installing The Greatest Shop Upgrade Ever - 4 Post Install

oh my back it's killing me right now man this up and down stuff is getting me but i've got something exciting right now we just got a packaging today and we're going to fix all of my back problems and fix all the issues of having a jacket car up and continually do stuff that we don't want to do and that's over here come with me and check this out brad and mike from wildfire lips they have delivered us some great news a great equipment here that's going to work awesomely in the cool auto because this is something that we have been needing for quite some time so come check it out so again we've got the father-son brad and mike here from wildfire lifts and they have delivered us this beautiful lift so you guys just want to kind of talk about uh you know where the company started how you guys kind of got to this yeah absolutely thanks for having us down by the way absolutely beautiful country out here so guys we started this company about eight years ago this is my father mike again i'm brad we started this because we're very similar to you guys we were short on space we wanted a really quality product to help us with our projects we got sick of laying on the ground being on the creepers we wanted to do something different we spent a lot of time looking at the market there were some good offerings but we thought we could do it a little bit better so eight years later we've been building this brand working with guys like dylan and it's really grown and a lot of that's thanks to you guys so let's show you the lift and get into it yeah i cannot wait this is going to be awesome guys because again we've got all this space here and we need a lift you guys have been saying in the comments still get a lift then we get a lift well now's the day now is the time we're going to be having something awesome here and at the end of this video i'm going to try it out and test it out with one of these vehicles in here so stick around to the end of the video and see just how awesome this lift really is so this is the first time i'm getting to see the lift and first off right off the bat i noticed how nice everything is packaged because the goal here is to show you guys that you can do this at home this is something that you can tackle and make happen you know you and a couple of buddies come over and make this work we're going to assemble this directly off the trailer here but look at how nicely everything is like packaged organized it looks really good i'm excited about this again they just took the cardboard off so seeing this makes it real like this is legit this is i i don't know i feel like i'm gonna have a smile all day as i see this thing come off the trailer because like i said i've never ever had a lift so these guys are making dreams come true out here i don't want to sound cheesy but that's the truth that's just how it is so we're going to start unwrapping some of this stuff this bubble wrap keeping everything safe and we're going to start assembling it right here and again show you guys that you can do it too what we'll have is we'll pull the cross beam out here the linkage on the top side is gonna be facing towards your door okay we're gonna leave that probably about 12 to 14 feet away from that door so you want to grab this side okay mike you want to grab that side man this thing's heavy he's quality right wow [Music] so [Music] so [Music] just like christmas isn't it yeah i'm not used to something with nice paint dude this is weird i'm gonna try and preserve it the one thing i have that's nice here well it looks like you guys already have it put together i mean we didn't have to do anything we just set it off the trailer and it's basically already done right we tried to take the most of the guesswork out of it for you guys and make it as honestly as simple as possible so everything that can be pre-assembled before it's broken down and shipped out to you is so in this case as you're seeing the pulleys and the axles are already put in place we've got our secondary locks here that already put in place we've got our main locks with our linkage rods that are already pre-assembled so everything is ready to essentially be put in place you can see the locks springs everything's operational so when you guys open it up you don't have to get where does this piece go where does that piece go it's ready to go right away well and that kind of helps with like safety as well absolutely so we know that it's tested everything goes through a few of our protocols in the factory so we know that everything is set so when it gets to you you don't put it together incorrectly it is ready to go out of the box i like that it's very easy very very easy what do you say we put these up it's gonna go let's do it these secondary spring close automatically we hold these locks open and then when we go to put this on what we do is we it's kind of hold it open be careful sliding guiding so that it doesn't scratch the power ready [Music] i was supposed to be paying attention what i kind of got like lost what i was doing because i got excited ready ready this is their offset so our secondary lock and main lock are offset by a few inches like you ever had to drop the shear strength so now we're there awesome now i know what i'm doing now you gonna help me stand her up [Music] look at that you guys hiring [Laughter] a little bit of a side perk if you're going to get a wildfire lift you now have thousands of hours worth of bubble wrap to play with you don't think about those things wildfire did nice and shiny oh it's good i'm beautiful power coating everything [Music] [Music] [Music] so it looks like everything as far as underneath is already pre-assembled so it makes it super easy super easy to put this thing together because i mean i don't know if i could figure this out on my own and you guys already did all the hard work for me yeah you know to try and keep it consistent with making everything easy for you guys we've pre-routed all the cables so as you can see everything's routed our pulley's already in place at the end and we route the cables up and what we do is we zip tie everything into the proper position so when it comes to the assembly once you've got this runway in place which we just finished up for example this cable right here is going to this corner we cut the zip tie we route around the cables and we run it up top and your cables are run so you don't have to worry about pulling an individual cable out of a box hooking it up where does it go it's all set it's done it's easy absolutely i love that i'm all for ease of access and i mean i guess that kind of goes with like you were mentioning earlier all the the packaging you do that to keep all this safe to keep all of this kind of self-contained to make sure that it's not going to fall apart because you guys spent a lot of time to make all this look right and work right so that way the customer enjoys the benefits of that that's exactly right yeah make it is easy for you guys so you're happy you like the product and hopefully you tell your buddies about it that's right that's right absolutely so that means wildfirelist.com [Music] dylan are you over there just admiring yes this is great just the quality of it's awesome there's we're going to show you some safety features here in a second that make this lift like i mean in comparison to anybody else it's just nothing compares to it it's just crazy how much design and thought and effort went into how this lift is meant for somebody like me who is on their own a lot working on their own so we want to show you something here in just a minute but this thing is just quality build like it's amazing it really is [Music] come on [Music] so [Music] you want to wait [Music] are you sure [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] crazy stuff going on [Music] [Music] it's very straightforward [Music] over here [Music] okay let me just hold this up real quick [Music] i'm going to lift it up enough to open my locks and then i'm going to lower it down and then the air is going to come out of the system from the first time [Music] yeah we're pressurizing so basically we pulled that ram out now what we're doing is we're filling that ram full of fluid so we're going to push that fluid until it lifts it and then what we're going to do is we're going to lower it all the way down and the air we put in there when we pulled that ram initially it will come out so that's the only time we have to bleed it is that first okay and you'll start to see it pretty soon we'll get it you'll start to see it lift and then we're going to watch this move when this starts to move that means our locks are high enough they're starting to hit the lock above it we know we'll have enough room to open our locks oh there it goes [Music] you can see them open here and if you look all the way under the bottom at the end you can see the tip of that lock come on down there as well okay so now that we have it we know that the locks open all the way to lower it we're going to hold this open and we're going to hold the release lever and that release lever is if i let go of one or the other it's going to stop so when we get down probably within six inches of the bottom you're going to start hearing that air escape from the ram and you'll see those posts i usually do feather a little bit just so we don't foam the fluid so much and now we've released all the air out of there and we will see this foam in here but that'll dissipate over time so [Laughter] i love this this is cool this is really cool all right so i'm going to show you guys the safety features on our lifts the reason that a lot of our customers really value what we put into it a big reason that dylan wanted to work with us on this was the functionality and the safety aspect if he's in here in the shop by himself so to start with what we take is we take a five inch piece of steel and we actually laser cut our notches so this is actually a tube steel we laser cut our notches out of here and we actually take our crossbeams and it actually wraps all the way around like a sleeve the benefit of having that sleeve is this lift can never move far enough away where our main lock would ever disengage so you could never move that far enough away to have a lock disengage or have any sort of failure so it's very secure from that aspect we then put nylon on each one of these corners which really just keeps the tolerance tight so it's not so much a wear item but keeps everything nice and tight so it's in the correct position and how our locking mechanisms work right now we are elevated just slightly off of a lock for demonstration purposes we have a single point lock release so what we do is we take and open this lock as you saw that's going to open locks on the other end but this when i open this handle we'll open up our front locks on either side and then it's going to open the locks on the back side as well that is a dead man switch effectively if at any point you want it to stop you'd simply go that's going to lock into place now the exact same time every single one of our lifts from the very first lift we ever produced as a company came with a secondary locking mechanism what occurs right now is as you can see i have cable tension on the lift so the lift is under cable tension this secondary lock is held wide open it is spring loaded so at any point if cable tension was to come off of this lift this tension would reduce and the lock would actually spring into place so again right now we're elevated but if i was to lower this to show you i'm going to lower the lift onto the lock as you can see the cable tension has come off so now my secondary lock would go into place so if at any point you were using the lift something occurred to the cable that would actually allow for that secondary lock to work into place so again we've got our main lock we have a secondary lock and we have the fully wrapped around post design which just gives it a really robust stable and safe design [Music] that's cool [Music] [Music] [Music] now in my search for lifts i was looking for a two post lift just because i wanted to pick the car up and be able to unload the suspension take a wheel off if i needed to but you kind of sacrifice stability and safety because if you have your weight distributed correctly things can go wrong and being two legs versus four legs can kind of give you some trouble now that's why the wildfire has the four post lift and on top of that as an option you can order their air lift and i think this thing is incredible for making things easy and give you the same functionality as a two post lift so show us how it works and show us why this thing is like incredibly safe for use absolutely so first off this is our most popular accessory gentlemen add to the lifts it really takes your four post lift from being a really nice storage and semi maintenance piece of equipment to a fully functional mechanical piece of equipment as well so first thing i'm going to show you right here is just how easy it moves and now understand we're lifted up this is not collapsed this is to give you guys demonstration but we can roll this thing back and forth anywhere you need to go what you'll see if you bring it in here real quick for me we slot our wheels right here and we have a jack rail so what's really nice is this is going to stay grooved in place so it can never come off and actually has an additional lift to keep that really safe and secure so first off when you're moving it safe and secure what's really nice here as well is when this lifts up we have three different lock heights okay when this lifts up you've actually got a lock in position so right now we've got it lifted off the lock to show you guys but if you were about to work on your car you would actually take and lower this down very much like a jack stand so now the locks built in place it is secure what's really cool from here you can also take and extend your arms out to reach your lift points and if you need a little bit more height that's where these guys come in so we do provide a couple of different risers slide these guys right into place now you've got your contact lift point right there which is super cool acts a lot like a two post but you get the stability and safety of that four post and then once you're ready to call it a day you can pull this out lower back down what we do to get this back up is we raise it up slightly we disengage our locks which we hold open then we're going to lower this one down and let's say i was just going to go a little bit lower i'd lower it down let it set into place and then that's going to catch that very next lock notch so depending on what you're doing you might find different heights you want to work with so again it moves really easily it gives you the functionality while offering the safety as well so i think it's gonna be a really nice option for you and your videos and you guys said that you can even lift here if you needed to you absolutely could so rear ends i see guys that a lot of times what they'll do is they'll put some sort of rubber on here just to give a little bit more protection and security so it doesn't slide off but yeah if you want to lift the rear end you certainly can uh depends on what the project you're working on i have guys do all kinds of things with these tools that's what's awesome about i mean literally like the safety aspect of it is incredible and you know us working out here things can get a little hairy and if we can eliminate all the factors of things going wrong that we can then it just makes things a lot easier on us and makes me feel better to get underneath the car so this tool right here is awesome this is very exciting to see this thing here now we have the functionality of a four post or a two post lift but also the mobility now that's the biggest thing you're probably wondering why the heck can we install this right in front of the door well we have a purpose because this thing can roll these are going to be awesome so we'll throw these on we'll show you how it moves it's going to blow some lines like who does that who has a lift that moves i do wildfire lift does this is cool this is the best part about all this it moves i love this i would argue like the air deck is the most practical this is the coolest right so effectively it goes around right you've got a pin that goes through the hole here goes through the hole here goes through the hole there we do have a cotter that goes on the other side i see so as it lowers itself down and it levels it up you see mind blowing that's pretty cool this is wild he made it look way easier it a few yeah [Music] roll that's way easier than you would expect it to be way easier and it rolls like buttery smooth like look it's super silent too you said these wheels were nylon yeah they're a non-marring nylon correctly they end up moving really really easily so if you have an epoxy floor you're not gonna have to worry about them marring up that epoxy floor or scratching it either so quiet what do you say we put something on it now i think we should at the point where we can finally load this thing up i'll get it straight back out and we're going to bring something in that i wish and i wish i wish i could have lift to build this car with let's open the door and get this thing off [Music] now so what do you think you go up now [Music] so always let it click always let it click and then what you do so now you know you're up on the watch you're clear right right we always take and just lower that back down a little bit you're six ten under you're six two one walk underneath no problem wow yeah that's a little water from the trunk yep whoa you don't look too close it's not as pretty as i would hope it's a little dirty for my road tripping i mean if i could have had this whenever i built this car this would have been in 10 episodes i mean it took me what 30 just to do this car i couldn't imagine doing it with this lift right here this is it's almost making me like dizzy to be able to look up out the car i've never seen underneath i've always been laying it flat on my back either on cold concrete or creeper but this is like it's literally life-changing i'm not even gonna joke with you right now it's it's life-changing this is awesome i'm just gonna be under here for a little bit so you guys just kind of like just wait for a little while i'll be back in a second [Music] sounds like it's weird looking through the sunroof and seeing a challenger [Music] what do you think about that what kind of photo off is that right there that is awesome [Music] [Music] well the guys are gone now we're left alone with our precious lift here and i literally have just picked the car up and dropped it picked it up and dropped it over and over and i guess i just wanted to kind of look at all the things that it came with i mean you know the casters are included these uh drip trays you get three of them those are included this uh tool tray and jack stand kind of duo combo here is included i mean it's a little tool tray that holds three thousand pounds i don't weigh three thousand pounds but that's pretty awesome and it's got a drain plug in the middle of it in case like what they call the uh oh tray like if there's like a moment where you know you gotta have something that can immediately catch some fluids they put a drain plug in the very bottom what's cool is that it'll lock so that way it don't roll away on you now it's stuck there in place it won't go anywhere all this here cables pulleys brackets bolts this ram everything and is pre-assembled it showed up here already done and ready to go so as far as us we didn't really have to make anything happen besides putting it together all this here instead of having like just the ramps and the stands clamped down they have gusseted everything and added this what do you say that is probably half inch steel plating on each end and welding it to the inside so you not only have this being your structural integrity but this also doubles its structure and then where this air jack actually lands and rides on it also counts as more structural integrity because it has a lip here and it's also welded along the entirety of the of the ramp itself so i mean again there's like i mentioned there's so many things that they thought about and really went the extra mile to make sure that this thing is safe make sure that nothing's going to flex and bow i mean they're not going to move whenever you put weight on it that's that's like a rigid piece of metal and that's why we were talking about you know weight means quality and in this instance it really does because they have added so much extra metal and so much where they really didn't have to but they did it anyway and the peace of mind of knowing that i could be here alone and do what i needed to do and you know if i had to film something late at night or say i'm alone here i'm by myself i don't have to worry about once this is locked i'm good i'm good i'm fine there's nothing that's going to fall on me because every single corner has those double locks we showed you right here and up top so there's a fail safe on top of the actual lock itself on every corner so there's something that's going to catch this thing from falling on every corner so i feel better about that i mean even the jack itself has a lock position in it so you pull a lever up and whenever you let it down it'll slide right into place and lock itself up i mean there's so many things that make this whole lift and all the accessories that you can add on to it extremely safe and not to mention i mean honestly this is one of my favorite parts is the fact that it rolls and it rolls super easily i mean we've been pushing this thing around i spun it around in the video like it's so cool everything is you know it's geared towards someone who is like me someone who needs to use lift but also needs to be able to have the room to move stuff around not only can i load it from one end i can also load it from this end which means i could also drive in from that side and immediately drive off of this end here so if i had to lift dead center i could drive the car on do the work to it drive it off the back and do what i needed to so it's awesome it really is like i know i've repeated myself a lot with this but they really have thought of everything that you could i mean there's so many things that go into the thought of building this lift and i'm super thankful for it like this is unreal to be able to use something like this so i hope i hope you guys can understand like the gravity of this situation right now and how it's going to reflect on content and how it will reflect on what you guys get at this so now no longer will you know a camera have to be in the terrible spot it is to show something happening we can finally get a good angle we can make more content be safer in that instance and not have to crawl up under cars with jack stands all the time and it kind of really motivates me more because i know i'm going to have a lot easier time working on stuff instead of having to struggle and fight something so again i say that i could not recommend these guys enough so if you are in the market for a lift go to
