IT'S A BEYBLADE BURST GRAVEYARD! Beyblade Thrifting & Scavenger Bey Hunting @ BOOK-OFF JAPAN

come join our Beyblade Thrift hunt today the official drop of Beyblade X is July 15th we're about one month out before stores in Japan will start carrying the brand new bays and Stadium but Brendan and I were able to buy some Beyblade X products early from the coral Coral event so expect more Beyblade x videos very soon now a lot of you guys are wondering how Bay hunting is like right now in Japan so I'll tell you how it is stores in Japan are either sold out of the first products or doing massive clearance I went to a big camera and Lobby and yobudashi Camera all those retail stores the department stores are either sold out of all Beyblade burst items because it's now discontinued or you have clearance so this is what it's like when you walk into a Japanese department store that usually carries Beyblades all you see is Hello Kitty Bays how funny is that I guess um like they have too much Overstock they didn't sell enough of them maybe there's also a lot of vs sets that I see so Bruce spriggan and ultimate Valkyrie you can still get that also a lot of scipoid Excalibur I went to a couple of stores and I think most of them carried scifoid either way Beyblade X is going to be such a big launch so it's going to take over the whole store I'm sure it was actually just kind of disappointing we didn't get to see a lot of the Bass from big camera because all we got was Hello Kitty but uh it's all good I guess since Beyblade X is coming they're just sort of moving their inventory elsewhere or doing clearance items on them so in the meantime since Beyblade burst is now sunsetting we are now into Beyblade X it's a great time to do some Beyblade thrifting because a lot of people are probably trading in all their burst stuff for all the bbgs out there all the collectors this is a great chance for you to grab some great deals [Music] we are at book off every time you go to Japan you should always try to look for a book off store or at least just go into ones to see what you can find there's so many different varieties of items of course we're looking for Beyblades already starting off with anime Goods see it here lots of cool items and some of these are new some of these are used or in good condition [Music] everything in the store is super neat and tidy everything is really well maintained and the second hand items are usually stored in these plastic bags when you see anime items you know you're on the right track and you know you're getting closer when you see the plastic bags the used items are usually stored in these bags [Music] and then Beyblade burst hit me look at all these Beyblade bursts used items so they're stored in the plastic bags and most of these were 300 Yen each so it's definitely overwhelming to see all this in front of you your Beyblade instincts just kicks in and you want to grab every single one and put it in your cart but you can't do it like that the scavenger hunts the point of this is you gotta find the good deals and you gotta find the rare stuff there were a lot of random booster Bays the recolors and usually those don't really hit the fields for me so I usually put those ones down but yeah I just like there's so much older stuff look at that blast genius and then chaos like haven't seen those in so long the original color winning Valkyrie that's a pickup right there showing you guys the rest of the goods like this is another example of one of those uh weird finds a trigger with no stickers and there's also recolor so definitely not worth 3 30 Yen for me digging a little bit deeper Excalibur um longness you know nightmare longness not bad I think that would be a good pickup but yeah most of these are Beyblade burst items from the first couple of seasons do you guys see anything that you guys would want to pick up is that a shadow of materials 990 Yen so around 10 bucks seems like it's new too and then there's some random layers your nah and then another bin hit me so you know you're at the right Beyblade section because you found the graveyards of all Beyblade burst items okay maybe not all Beyblade burst items but you get the point all of these were traded in or sold to book off and then they refurbished it or repackaged it and then now putting it up for sale so I'm going to show you guys some of them but this is definitely not the most impressive book off collection I've seen but I think it's the first one I've seen where it looks like a graveyard of Beyblades just laying there isn't this super fitting it just symbolizes that Beyblade burst has ended in with the new and out with the old so let's see what's in the bin of course a lot of random booster Bays but there were some good finds like this red amaterials 330m that's actually definitely worth picking up dual layer base not so much for the gold winning Valkyrie that's worth it also 330 ends like it's a no-brainer 330 and it's especially the same price across this whole bin it seems like see anything you guys want to pick up again more OG Bays with no stickers there is a spriggan spread Fusion so old but that's a classic also worth it for me if you guys come to Japan you can literally go to every single book off and try the scavenger hunt some base even though Beyblade burst is no longer being carried in retail stores you can always count on these you know used stores in Japan for some Bay hunts see this is another Hidden Gem like this is the amateurios from the 3DS game that's worth 330 and right guys that's another pickup right there and book off is kind of like everywhere in Japan so it's definitely worth checking out if you see one around the area different stores Terrys different items they have different inventories some are smaller some are bigger even some of the smaller book off stores the ones are non-bizarre they still carry some good stuff like you can definitely find some hidden Gems by looking at every single one of them like this other store that I encountered carried the Beyblade Metal Fight DS game for 100 yen or if you're into other animes or Hobbies there's always something for you at book off don't be confused by the name bookoff they don't only sell books I think it's probably started off selling books and then eventually like secondhand books secondhand toys second-hand clothing you can even buy you know luxury goods here too if you guys are into thrifting Beyblades this is definitely the place to go there's so many different items that you can find all we found this time was Beyblade burst items I remember last time we found a lot of metal fight stuff so if you guys are ever in Tokyo or in Japan look for book off hobby off or hard off this is the super bizarre location which means that they carry a lot of other Goods there's a ton of collection this one particularly wasn't extremely big but it's still considered a super bizarre it's kind of like a book off superstore we found a lot of Beyblades which is great and the prices were pretty reasonable This Book application has two floors so first floor there was like clothing and gold and stuff like that jewelry and then the second location CDs DVDs gaming stuff
