what up all right where are we Damian we are in the fine eating pork Hotel just outside of Canberra we've just loaded ourselves up with a little bit of Pie Face stay tuned NPS we are going to do a tune comparison for you guys I get asked all the bloody time should I turn my Asus yes of course you should show you why I'm gonna go and then instead we're going to do it you think still mechanically for an engine perspective completely stop so I can switch between standard file and one of our tune files we're gonna do a back-to-back comparison we've obviously got the Evo or Stevo on the back it's about two tons so it depends to what you guys are Towing some of you guys relatively light we'll still do the drink tell us a few more about the truck Damian what's what's going on with it looks a bit different to uh to how Isuzu envisioned it very orange who did that um it's got large little tires it's got front and Backer suspension packages it's got triple bypasses in the front they're pretty cool actually I really enjoyed this thing just not when it's uh standard as you'll see yeah momentarily and we have Dino doctors here today we'll get there eventually decided to show you the difference back to back saint day straight after each other stock just tuned and what it does to the drivability of the trucks and the confidence that you have for your tongue these are terrible standard I don't know how anyone drives upstairs anyway we're gonna get stuck into it and we'll come back to you about material all right standard tune is loaded this is going to be depressing we'll head up the highway we'll see what the absolutely incredible acceleration is like on the on the on-ramps will go up the big Long Hill uh we'll remind ourselves why no one drives these standard and why I don't understand why you wouldn't tune one of these things it's it's like a 79 series all right off we go [Music] thank you [Music] okay downhill 60ks an hour [Music] [Music] 90 K's an hour now it's 110 here we let's just pretend it's a hundred ninety-five [Music] 25 [Music] 95. the foot is through the firewall uh 19 it's not going well Jake well here we go 95 downhill's helping us hey 100 right here let's set out cruise control look we are attempting to overtake yeah but I hate people seriously why how fast are we going homies well I'm attempting to do a hundred this person was doing 90. now they're doing so we can't overtake as soon as I pulling behind them I'll do 90. all right here we go we've begun we are doing a hundred still doing 100. we are no longer doing 100 on cruise control again 100 low 100 load between 19 and a half and 20 pounds of boost 320 degrees of exhaust gas temperature we are slowing down before I've allowed to eat if you like gears coming up and there's going to be a gear change occurring here in a tank I'll take over from cruise control so I'm wide open 85 hear the fan come on 80 brought him down for a year Jay wide open again 75 K's an hour fourth Wicked just maintain 75. in a 110 kilometer Arizona yes manually it's a Saturday and there's not very many cars around we are actually slowly accelerating what you believe hit 80k's an hour wide open throttle if we haven't got there yet but where we are we are gradually doing it 79 we're at almost 400 degrees of EGT which is incredible considering how slow it is but hey it's flattening out we might be able to go for a gear change here we go like I could have just put a brick on the accelerator it hasn't moved here we go back to fifth yeah oh it's just doing it just and look at what's coming up this is the second part of the Hill coming up into an 85. I suspect I'm gonna need the gear stick again everything's looking good [Music] 7 28 degrees of post intercoolery you take your attempt 320 degrees of EGT we are 100 gonna need four here we go [Music] radiator fans roaring [Music] pgts 330 it doesn't have any more fuel to give so it's not going to get any hotter I call this embarrassing I wouldn't do this there's no way I would 100. back to fifth now that the Hill's gone it's 365 degrees of EGT 32 degrees all right so we're doing a U-turn pulling back around standing start first gear back up to speed still standard by the way [Music] 50. [Music] 60. plenty of time to chat enjoy the scenery 70 Rich lady he's bored he's very good we've got the uh the Evo on the back as well Towing [Music] was sort of stuck at 85 I think that's about all we've got up this mediocre Hill that you 've probably found mate what is it old Dino dog rich better than being lean isn't it all right bit of a comparison yeah stop from third and stuff all right you ready three two one [Music] speed 70 80. [Music] 100 we are doing 100 on the off-ramp 110. foreign [Music] Hill this is the downhill bit or the same the same Hill sorry it must have changed since half an hour ago yeah I don't think so same here downhill getting ready [Music] a lot of you guys that drive Canberra to Sydney or I'm sure will be very familiar with the section of the uh for the Federal Highway just after Max Reef Road here we go all right we were already doing about 90 in the stock tune about now funnily enough we're doing 100 very good and I don't expect that to change still doing 100 my feet are still on the floor that 50 load cruising up here nice we've only just cracked 300 degrees of EGT it's kind of boring making a video on it when it's tuned nothing is over yet it just works just doing a hundred I mean this is the safest bit of the Hill we're about 75 load about 380 degrees of exhaust tip still in fifth definitely have not touched the gear selector the dino dog still couldn't have much happier look at it he is happy well why on Earth for such a bugger all investment would you do it to yourself having one of these standards and ironically I should have mentioned this beforehand I didn't think about it well I reset the trip on both of those and we're at a very short distance so not super accurate but according to our fuel economy where almost two liters per 100K is better off now that we're Champs which is again can't stressed out enough that it's not 100 accurate you have haven't gone far enough just relying on the factory Dash but it's an indication nonetheless all repeat then going up a little bit steeper incline now again no drummers we're just doing a hundred still on 100. so our highest I saw was 78 load so we're still at 22 up our sleeves steamer which I don't think it's going to which is definitely not going to because it's too many alcohol all right we are at the Lake George Lookout bit to head back towards Canberra see cars coming Lake's got some water in it that's pretty cool [Applause] Evo's probably still on the back somewhere and away we go again this is with the tune foil back in it and up uphill uh 40 50. 60. I feel 70. [Music] 80. [Music] 90. [Music] 100 uphill up quite a decent Hill actually set low just cruising on good boy
