Is this the most overpowered gun in Terraria?

when it comes to early hard mode weapons in terraria you have a lot to choose from do you far mimic drops craft the onyx blaster but focus on working your way up the hard mode doors whatever you do you're missing out the first thing i do when entering heart mode is fan for one incredible weapon the uzi the uzi is in many ways similar to the mega shark but shoots bullets at a much higher velocity and deals more damage what especially makes this weapon so insane is the fact that it can be acquired immediately after entering hard mode without needing to defeat any other boss to get your hands on one all you need to do is head to the underground jungle and farm angry trappers of course this is easier said than done as the underground jungle is a horrible place in hard mode although angry trappers spawn at quite a generous rate the uzi only has a one percent chance to drop looking for me here i got it on my 20th kill when it comes to the performance of the gun it's a solid option due to its high velocity bullets and dps here i conducted a series of dps tests which compares the weapon to its closest contender the mega shark on multi-enemy scenarios it absolutely destroys the competition due to its piercing ability however even on a single target dummy it still deals slightly more dps than the insanely fast firing mega shark it's also worth mentioning that using a different bullet type such as clorophyte will limit the gun's ability the very thing that gives the uzi an edge on the mega shark is its special bullet type to truly show its potential i fought the queen slime using it which is one of the first bosses you would expect to take out when entering hard mode the fact you can deal this much damage to a fast moving target only an hour or two after defeating the wall of flesh is just insane if you want to make early hardware debris you have to get this gun the other thing i love about the uzi is how it has a whopping 172 percent higher base knockback per second than the mega shark this isn't something which will be noticed frequently in boss fights but will help protect you from enemy contact damage during your vulnerable start to hard mode the mega shark's lack of knockback and piercing makes this fight considerably more difficult as you can see here the pink slimes constantly get in my way and stop me dealing damage to the actual boss the only gain the mega shark has on the uzi is its 50 ammo reservation which isn't exactly needed due to its lower fire rate something else worth considering is the mega shack's crafting recipe not only do you need to defeat the destroyer which can take a lot of setup you also need to farm sharks and toss the arms dealer 35 gold for a mini shark you might as well just grind anchor trappers for a better performing weapon in summary the uzi is an insanely powerful weapon which just might be the most overpowered in the game due to where it is positioned in the progression what do you think is it worthy of its praise or do you think there's something better [Music]
