I saw a similarly stupid story. You know how any deposit over $10k is subject to extra scrutiny and reporting? It's also illegal to purposely deposit less than $10k at a time in an attempt to get around these regulations.

I read about a person with a cash business who who had their business account seized and was accused of structuring in order to get around the $10k money laundering regulations. Turns out their business just made less than $10k every deposit period and so it just appeared that way. Cops didn't care, they seized it anyways.

Undeclared earnings = black money. The fucing governments send armed men after you if you do not consent to being robbed.

My question is, was he declaring all the money on his taxes?

"A society that robs an individual of the product of his effort, or enslaves him, or attempts to limit the freedom of his mind, or compels him to act against his own rational judgment ... is not, strictly speaking, a society, but a mob held together by institutionalized gang-rule" Ayn Rand

So tax evading dairy farmers are now being described as "innocent"?

Using crypto is like using cash (dare I say, Bitcoin Cash)?

You're still supposed to pay tax on what you earn. In fact, it's much easier to track your crypto than fiat, so if you don't pay tax on your crypto, you can probably expect your assets seized by the IRS.

you know I thought I lived in America until three years ago now I wonder whether I live in America or not when the government can come in and take your property and not convict you of a crime Randy Cyrus I'm a dairy farmer by trade an open Cal since 1981 and the processing milk since 2000 sell through the store here and we do have a couple small stores that we do furnish but that's not our business our business take it right to the consumer through home delivery or we do farmers markets we just take cash never have taken credit cards a lot of the vendors do now and we're looking at it kind of slows the process down any typical wheat we don't normally take him more than $10,000 cash my wife Karen went to the bank just like she always does and she had actually had $12,000 cash that day and she just you know deposits just like normal and during the transaction the teller said you know if you keep this under ten thousand dollars I don't want to fill out all this paperwork to agents from the Department of Treasury showed up and they had their badges and guns and they were in the store they said about where all those money come from they told me that they'd seized my account sixty-six thousand dollars or whatever it was if you were depositing a lot of the money in the bank they would government find out about it they would try to figure out where all this money came from because they were looking for drug dealers and going smugglers and all this kind of stuff well any smart criminal would think well we'll just deposit less than ten now that way they won't catch us so then they made another law saying you couldn't deposit less than ten without getting in trouble deposits between 95 and 99 hundred it looks suspicious but once they came out and question us and knew there wasn't a problem that should have been the end of it I mean what they took for me was a penton's to what they've taken from a lot of people pens and nobody talks I mean that's that's why they got away with it was so many years because nobody said anything they need to change the law and give everybody that was falsely accused and never convicted of anything their money back
