Intentional Creation Part II | John Gray

so could it be that sin and this is what we know jesus god said in the day you eat of this fruit you shall surely die what does die mean your time will be up sin is a construct of time the only reason we know about time is because sin ends the body we know that satan was put on the clock once he left heaven he fell where did he land in the earth i'm going somewhere could it be that between what god created and what god intended satan fell and now the earth is without form and void and darkness is on the face of the deep and the spirit of god hovered over the face of the waters and god said let there be light and the light he called day he separated the light from the dark and he called it day capital d and the light he called night could it be in that moment that god separated good from evil could it be in that moment that he declared that there is going to be a kingdom of light and a kingdom of darkness could it be that there is a synagogue of the kingdom and a synagogue of satan which we read about in revelations 3 can i give you a little more can i go a little deeper early in the morning could it be since jesus is called the day star could it be that the first thing that god expressed through creation is his son oh wow maybe now you understand john chapter one verse one in the beginning was the word and the word was with god and the word was god he was in the beginning with god through him all things were made that were made and not one thing that was made was made without him in him was life in that life was the light of men and we beheld him as the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth could it be that even in the book of genesis the first verse whispers the jesus of the bible could it be this jesus who said before abraham was i am i am the resurrection and the life could it be this jesus who shows himself in revelation 1 in revelation 22 he says i am the alpha and the omega the beginning and the end the first and the last freeze revelation is written in greek but jesus was not greek he was hebrew he spoke hebrew he didn't speak greek they translated it to greek and so what it should say is sometimes god will hide a thing in plain sight to see who will be so hungry for his presence that they will look past the surface and see something altogether new who will go beyond the veil pushing back from the safety of conventional wisdom and carnal knowledge into a place in the spirit where the scales fall from your eyes and the hunger of your spirit overtakes the war in your body for scripture says there is a war in my members and when i would do good evil is always present and that which i do i do not want to do and that which i do not do that i do oh wretched man that i am who will deliver me from this body body body body body of death why is there a battle in my members a war in my members a battle for supremacy why does my flesh war against my spirit and why does my spirit war against my flesh and why do i have to take up my cross daily and deny my flesh and follow jesus and how come some days i'm strong and other days i'm weak and how come sometimes i feel like i can walk on water and other times i feel like i'm drowning in a puddle and sometimes i feel like i'm standing tall and other times i feel like i'm broken straight down to the ground sometimes i can feel the heat of god's light on my face and other times i feel the cold distance of hell whispering that it's over but somewhere in the middle there is a war on the inside of me and the warrior is rising up out of me saying there is more to my life than the failure of my past and the shame that accompanies the bad decisions that i am not an accident some cosmic hodgepodge of cells that is gathered for no reason but every breath that i have has been numbered by the i am yahweh and in this moment i pray that you would receive the word of the lord and that you would journey with me to the future in the past the present where they all collide for in god there is no past present or future there simply is for he always is he always will be he always was he is the is-ness that's why he is the ancient of days but he is not old because old is a construct of time your hair gets gray he has never changed i am the lord and i change not he doesn't have arthritis he doesn't need vitamins he doesn't need pills he doesn't need anything he is god self-sustained self-contained we assume that he needs our worship you sir you ma'am are mistaken god doesn't need anything that's why he's god but we need to worship to be reminded of our place in the cosmos there is a place called heaven where the angels dwelled and they worshipped and there was a chief angel among them named lucifer he was the son of the morning and in his being were all the instruments and when he opened his mouth the sound was a sound so profound that even a third of heaven's angels were wooed by the gift he had diamonds and rubies and sapphires and emeralds and all the precious stones were his covering but one day he decided that he wanted to ascend to the mount of the north he wanted to be like the most high and god cast him out in that moment and the bible says the words of jesus i saw satan fall like lightning while that was happening in eternity there was something else that was brewing and god created the universe as we know it and i've been searching for jesus in all of scripture not just the new testament and this strange phenomenon the alephtav the alpha and the omega the hebrew letters the first and last letters of the hebrew alphabet which jesus declared prophetically behold i come in the volume of the book in the aleph and the tav of the book in the completion of the book it is written of me to do your will o god and if in the volume of the book we find jesus then that means that i don't have to wait till i get to the book of matthew to be introduced to jesus in fact if you really want to get revelation meet me in genesis and so we travel back to the beginning so we travel back back to the beginning in the beginning god created the heavens and earth and the earth was our form and void and darkness was over the face of the deep and the spirit of god hovered hovered hovered hovered over the face of the waters question number one why would god have to hover anywhere hovering means you haven't landed it means you haven't planted hovering is suspended between two places why would god hover anywhere when he's god maybe we find out in genesis chapter 1 verse 6 then god said let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters thus god made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament and it was so well pastor john i i'm not sure i don't understand what that means what is a what is a firmament i'm glad you asked because i'm looking for jesus why would god hover let there be a firmament firmament means that there be a surface let there be a surface in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters this is a very deep and profound scripture why would there be a need for a division of the waters from the water when he was hovering over the face of the waters i'm going somewhere and the lord told me you don't have to give it all to them today we're going to be in intentional creation for a little while but i'm gonna give you this point and then we can go home but you know babies are in a placenta right they're in a an embryonic set amniotic fluid so literally they breathe underwater we've got too many christians gasping for air when you're called to breathe underwater science does not dispute god it reveals god how could moses know how the earth began 6 000 years ago when we get to this moment where god says let there be a firmament and let me divide the waters from the waters this is intentional creation there's a book called man does not stand alone by a kressy morrison these are the words that are found if it is true that the temperature of the earth at the time of its separation from the sun was about 12 000 degrees or that of the surface of the sun then all the elements were free and therefore no chemical combination of importance could exist in the earth at that time gradually as the earth or earth-forming fragments cooled combinations would take place in a nucleus of the world as we know it was formed oxygen and hydrogen could not combine until the temperature was reduced 4 000 to 4000 degrees fahrenheit watch this at this point these elements would rush together and form water what we know as the atmosphere of the earth must have been enormous at the time watch this all the oceans were in the sky this is a scientist but before we get back to science the bible says let there be a firmament and let me divide the waters from the waters and there's going to be water above in waters below this is very interesting because i always think that water is a product of gravity but as the earth was forming the ocean was above your head not beneath your feet tell somebody it's time to go swimming oh y'all missed it i'm getting ready to go somewhere all the oceans were in the sky all those elements now combined were in the air as gases water having formed in the outer atmosphere watch this fell toward the earth but could not reach it there was an ocean imagine the pacific ocean rushing from the highest heavens towards the earth but it could not land because there was something between something was hovering the spirit of god hovered over the face of the waters y'all act like god has a back when in fact everything he has is a front because there's nothing that can get past him there's nothing he can't see so he's his front is up and down he can see it all he was between and in the midst of the waters i'm going somewhere the temperature near the earth was higher than it was thousands of miles out of course the time came when the dale used would reach the earth only to fly up again as steam with whole oceans in the air floods that would would result as cooling progressed or beyond calculation upheaval and erosion rivaled each other and a condition of chaos beyond all comprehension existed for millions of years in this inconceivable confusion this is a scientist and the earth was without form and void and darkness was over the face of the deep and the spirit of god hovered over the face of the waters in the midst of this chaos and confusion oxygen combined with nearly all the substances of the earth's crust it also combined with all the hydrogen with which it came in contact and thus formed the ocean vast quantities of hydrogen must have escaped the attraction of the earth's gravity before the earth cooled otherwise the mass of water would now have been so great as to bury land miles deep why are you talking about science in genesis 6 because scientists discovered what moses said late intentional creation for those who still think that your life is accidental you need to know that god was intentional and took his time in making sure that the earth was even able to sustain you before he created you when you hover that means you linger and what's interesting is the elements that were necessary to sustain earth had to be permeated into the earth over time and so god in his supernatural infinite wisdom and omniscience hovered over the face of the water he oxygenated the earth with his own being maybe now you see differently the scripture that says the earth is the lord's and the fullness thereof what's the next part of that the world and they that dwell in it could it be that as we go back into this place of intentional creation that god literally is the very substance of the air we breathe where do i get that from well adam started breathing on his own is that what i'm to understand no how did adam start breathing god did what i'm sorry say it again i couldn't say what come again say what god breathed into adam's nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being intentional creation god separated the waters from the waters raised up land what was left were dust particles god took what was left after the separation of the waters picked it up formed it breathed into it and said you got dominion over it i i really want to go to a deeper place will you go with me for just a few minutes i know that this service has gone into a different direction before you ever doubt how critically important you are to the kingdom agenda you need to know that if the bible says the days is a thousand years to the lord then you understand that the chronology or the chronological timeline of god creating the heavens and the earth was given to moses for us to understand in our finite brains but the process of these things he gives us in a span of days but it took in our minds now we understand millions of years but you weren't here so it wouldn't matter god did all this before you got here so stop selling yourself short when god created entire universe oxygenated the planet with his presence divided the waters from the waters separated light from darkness and then made sure the atmosphere was perfect with the right amount of hydrogen and oxygen and oxygenated earth and crust and magma and to tectonic plates and and enough uh perfection of the angle of of of the trajectory of of the earth to the sun and one of the things that happened was a moon that was also a part of what broke off because you do know that the earth is a result of the the star that we call the sun as it was forming some of the particles exploded and those are the planets that now orbit the sun what you don't know is that even the moon has a purpose if the moon was half of its size we wouldn't have the same level of gravity and the earth would not be able to function as it does and if it had too much gravity the oceans would be so high by tide that all the land would be flooded even up to the height of the mountains but there is a perfection in the gravitational pull and the fact that the moon is where it is is not by chance and that the earth rotates on its axis all the way to the one second every 100 years that's how perfect it is and you're telling me that chaos can create perfection that a son out of its own will created a planet that sustained life and you think you're an accident pastor anzio i appreciate the encouragement because i'm tired of people walking around here and don't know who they are you are the son of the living god you are a daughter of the living god why would you sell yourself short when you god created an entire universe before he got to you and he did all of that so you could have it he made adam adam red man ruddy man the man from the clay why did he make man let us make man in our image according to our likeness let me let me make something like myself to rule to be a lowercase g a little god i handle heaven they handle earth but we will have communion and fellowship why did god create man because he was lonely no he didn't create man because he was lonely he created man for the purposes of fellowship and he gave man something that angels didn't have which is the ability to have faith what separates us from every other creature is faith see angel's got one chance you fail you out because you're in my presence man i'm gonna hide myself purposely so you have to believe that i am and the more faith you have the closer i get and and that's why satan as a fallen angel hates us because he got one chance and he was cut off we fail every day and he still wants to see us i wish there was somebody in the dark of the moment that gives god a praise for his love and favor and his mercy and grace that has been extended in in your creative process somebody scream intentional creation if you really want to understand your genesis go to revelation you got to go to the end to understand the beginning adam was the penultimate creation of all the universe the son of god full fellowship with the father god said to him all of this stuff you can have i give you one rule don't eat from what the tree of the knowledge of what good and evil for the day you eat of it you shall surely let's break this down the tree minister tasha of the knowledge of good and evil also the tree of life was in the midst of the garden before i go to this tree of the knowledge of good and evil let's go to revelation 22 verse 1 and he showed me a pure river of water of life clearest crystal proceeding from the throne of god and of the lamb in the middle of its street and on either side of the river was the tree of life which bore 12 fruits each tree yielding its fruit every month the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations freeze are there any farmers in here or anyone who has family who are farmers are there any crops that you can plant and get a complete harvest in 30 days can you plant corn and get it in 30 days how about greens how about cabbage how about kale how about butter beans peas now we understand why god gave adam eve because before the fall the ground was so fertile that it was producing harvest every 30 days ah before sin stuff was producing at a rapid rate this is why the enemy is such a liar he offers you what looks good but this is what you miss sin slows everything down i wish i had some sin slows everything down when sin came into the picture now the ground has thorns and thistles there were no thorns before sin god was he had a full ecosystem a creative process and and and and stuff was working so good and things were rising up so fast that god says it's not good for him to be alone i gave him boundaries now i need the blessing and there's always boundaries before the blessing thank you pastor joel there's always boundaries before the blessing he says hey don't eat from this tree the next thing he says it's not good for him to be alone i'm going to make a helper suitable for him and then he works some more and then the bible says he calls the deep sleeping i'm going to bed i'm tired i got a lot of work i i could assure you some help but i don't have anybody that can help me if you're married your partner is your help not your enemy the enemy wants you to think that your partner is your enemy and he wants your eyes to go left and right looking for what's right there in your house don't let the devil trick you your enemy is your enemy your lens is off and so you incorrectly ascribe the villain role to your spouse when in fact you have a common enemy and his name is satan the satan the adversary adam went to sleep and god took a rib and made eve watch this and then god when adam awaken god brought eve to him freeze this is very interesting we're talking about intentional creation where all the married people at lift your hands in the dark online put your hands up in the chat room single people very important i want you to watch this there's no father who's a good father that would give their daughter in marriage to a complete stranger why would you allow your daughter to marry a man that you don't know anything about and she doesn't know anything about what we know is that adam had relational equity with god before eve showed up we know that adam slept we think like regular human beings and he slept for a few hours and woke up you can have surgery on your shoulder and his three hours plus recovery he took a rib and made a whole human and it wasn't a regular sleep it was a deep sleep long enough for god and eve to have quality time everybody wants a dimwit for a woman don't talk too much don't do too much god says nah that's not how i made women on international women's month no she's brilliant she's layered she's she's vibrant she's a man in fact she's a man plus she's a man with a womb wound man that's where we get woman from she's more than a man she's a wound man she's the only one that can make more women and men men can't do that she's a wombed man but before i give you this man let me tell you about adam while he's sleep i want to talk to you about him i made you for him let me tell you what his mission is let me tell you what the vision is let me tell you what the purpose is and here's how you function with him because when he wakes up y'all have work to do but before i wake him up come spend time with me to all my single people before you go running around hoping for a ring spend time with god i know you want to be a wife be a daughter first i know you want a wife but be a son work hard and then go to sleep and let god prepare her and when your eyes open you'll see her through the lens of your father not the the the covetousness of your flesh because a physical passion has limitations but spiritual eyes bear legacy fruit so there was time spent adam and then god spent time with eve then he brought them together and they were working and all of a sudden here comes this enemy a serpent whispering in this new creation and the bible says he talks to eve and you know what happens but here's the part i had never really caught it says the tree was pleasant to look at and good for food and it was a tree of the knowledge of good and freeze so y'all act like evil showed up after it was in the garden in the form of choice you have to choose to live holy you have to choose to do right you have to choose to maintain boundaries the tree of the knowledge of good and evil this is why god says don't touch that there are some things you're not supposed to know there are some good things i just want you to know the good things i don't want you to know the other side that corrupts i don't want you to watch that i need you to turn that off i don't need you to log into that app you don't need to watch that movie you don't need to talk to that person all they do is talk nasty and all they're doing is cussing and carrying you don't need that in your spirit that stuff is carnalists messing with you they're sowing seed your body is a garden your soul is a garden and though what is being sown is going to produce a harvest because the thing you feed the longest is the thing that is the strongest what are you what is happening in this moment of creation she eats the fruit evil was present because satan was there he's the evil one but then he introduced a lie and eve bit the fruit gave it to her husband and now their eyes were opened and then what happens next the bible says this the voice of god was walking in the garden in the cool of the day not even god just his voice when your voice has feet you're a bad god i need you to know his voice has feet because his word walks and his word is walking toward you right now there's so much that i want to unpack but i just need to give you a little bit more and god says adam where are you which lets me know that god had an expectation that adam would be in a particular place at a particular time and sin caused adam to miss his appointed time do not allow sin to cause you to miss your appointed time what's in the question is adam what has preoccupied you that you would miss your time with me is she that fine that you would put me down to pick her up is he that fine that you would put me down to pick him up is that substance that important that you would miss spending time with the god who created you i'm trying to help somebody in here where are you where is your loyalty where is your allegiance where is your passion have you allowed anything into the place that only god should dwell in and this is not just for young people it's grown folk that are still immature you can be 50 years old and carnal afraid to face your emotions don't want to deal with anything always joking and laughing and clowning and because you don't want to deal and you're afraid to heal and you won't allow god in and he's saying adam where are you john where are you sally where are you i want to give you an identity and i want to help you heal in those areas that nobody else can i'm trying to recreate you adam where are you what's caused you to miss your appointment time with me sin disrupts disconnects and dishonors the original intent of the created image of god we were created to be in full fellowship with god god divided the waters from the water but we know that jesus is the living water and all that we would drink from the water of the word that we would be immersed in his presence that we would not allow anything to interrupt the full fellowship there is a creation process and there is something that god wants you to birth and he wants me to birth there's something that god wants to break open in your life and there is in this moment there is in this moment an opportunity to go back to the beginning if you really want to understand genesis go to revelation and when it shows you what the new heaven and the new earth look like all it is is a picture of what was happening before sin entered the picture god wants to spend one-on-one time with you and i and he wants you this week to make a commitment did you hear what i said i'm challenging everyone this week make a commitment right now and if you'll do it stand with me here's here's what i'm asking first you're gonna set aside time for you and god not listen not you your friends and god you and god then you and your spouse or you and your children or you and your family but you have a one-on-one relationship what we learned in the garden is that eve spent time with god adam spend time with god then they spent time with god but you can't be who you need to be for anyone else until you get in this presence for yourself the overarching principle that i want to leave you with today and i'm grateful that the lord said don't go through everything that's in your notes because it's a lot to unpack you are not a mistake you are not an accident and even the things that you think are egregious broken places unworthy of physical viewership god already knows and i need you to know that he's going to use the dirt to cultivate a harvest he's going to use it to cultivate a harvest adam was working so hard because before sin the fruit was being produced and i don't know who i'm talking to but some things have slowed down in your life because of sin we don't talk about that because we always scream grace no there's a there's a component called obedience do what the holy ghost says tell that man no tell that woman no tell that substance no tell those people no tell that opportunity no tell that television program no tell that app no tell that website no the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is i know it's there but i'm not going to open it i know it's there but i'm not going to watch it that is an act of your will and when you choose god over the opportunity of your flesh you've just shut the door on the enemy and harvest must come and i declare that it will come without thorns if you're going to make this one incremental step to spend time with god one on one this week away from other people stand where you are don't stand if you're not sure and you're like well how long that's between you and god but isn't it funny if it's somebody you wanted to tell you sit there for four hours they have nothing to say you watch all kind of goofy programs on tv nothing nothing in your life has changed but the god who made you wants to spend time with you and in one second he can give you a thousand years of wisdom intentional creation god created an entire atmosphere oxygenated with his presence just for you to be able to breathe inside of himself you were not created to live as an autonomous individual making decisions without the wisdom of the god who created you the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is this the tree of self-will i am now in charge and you see what happens when you try to get on the throne you end up sewing fig leaves together and running from the one who created you and the one who got you in that position is somewhere crawling on his belly because he was never on your level in the first place sin is a liar it corrupts your mind and distorts your vision god wants you to let go of every weight and sin that so easily besets you let's get back to jesus let's get back into the word and before you make another bad decision god i'ma come talk to you first and i'm gonna lay down my will and i'm not gonna eat from that tree and i love jesus and we find in the aleph tave and i love the heart of the father and i love the holy spirit all of them are one he says we have to drive the man and the woman out of the garden before they eat from the tree of life and live forever the connotation is that maybe god didn't want them to live forever that's wrong he didn't want them to live forever broken they've already failed through sin but if they eat from that tree their sin will not be able to be redeemed if i get them out now the plan of redemption can be put in place so don't be upset with the distance that's created because of the mistakes you made be grateful that god made a way for you to get back to him through the aleph jesus of the bible who is god i know this has been a different kind of service i simply wanted to make one very profound point you were not created to exist without god and every time you try you will fail or be frustrated and you are not an accident you are not without purpose so stop dating without purpose stop conversing without purpose stop waking up aimless hapless hopeless there is more but you will not find it in your favorite tv programs that you have taped you will find it in the presence of god away from your devices away from your addictions away from your insecurities and it will be there that you will be reminded of your eternal nature and your stature in the cosmos that you are seated in heavenly places with christ jesus and if you need that jesus today we make him available to you now hands lifted if you've never given your life to jesus this is your moment if you need to be rededicated this is your moment everyone pray this prayer with me lord jesus it's me i confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that jesus is lord thank you for the blood that was shed for me i receive the free gift of salvation not through my works but the finished work of the cross the blood is enough to pay for all my sins and now holy spirit come live inside and teach me how to be more like jesus each and every day you are my savior and my lord in jesus name amen we believe if you prayed that prayer you
