corrupt the whole government corrupt man we might cut to a talking here real quick talk about that get the facts right the dirty 30 was an infamously corrupt Precinct that served the Harlem area from your time and everything bro I appreciate you bro coming out here and [ __ ] all the way from where you came from that's what's up bro I appreciate your passion your drive 150th isn't just the home of Quan and Keem it is also the home of one of the Sugar Hill Trend Setters OT baby first coming onto the scene in April of 2020 at age 15 with the song Ready for War edot was an early star in the rising New York drill scene making a name for himself and Paving the way for the new generation of rappers coming out of Sugar Hill just 2 and 1/2 years after dropping his first song OT baby lost his life at only 17 years of age who am I here with right now it's Lori yes Balenciaga it's scary Mary and this is eah baby's sister and E baby's Auntie right mhm so in my mind e baby is one of the people that set the trend of the current scene in the in the New York music culture so what was it like watching him do that from such a young age it was like an amazing sight to see cuz Elijah like he basically he built the house for all of us to live in so it's nice to see everybody like Thrive from it you know especially from where we come from it's not a lot of opportunity so when you get to see like it just becomes a domino effect and everybody can win it's just just like beautiful Elijah like you know like me and him grew up in the same house we slept in the same bed everything so he was telling me like oh like I'm going to shoot a music video and I'm just like all right let me hear he's like oh pay for my studio time so the song that we talking about is ready for war and that song No props no nothing like and I was what went vir when everybody like you know so every day he'll come in the room like Lori look like it's 12,000 views like now it's 54,000 so it was just exciting to see like you know like like I said a little black boy having all that joy and you just get to like you're just excited to see what's next for him let's touch on you know Ed baby someone that's from his area a Legends a trend Setter if you will you know what was it like seeing him do his thing in New York he dropped um Ready for War people coming up to me yo look look look look look look look he touch million view touch million views look look I'm like oh for him to to put that one song out Ready for War started a whole thing like you feel me people wanted to be cool from us from other Burrows so now that starts a link up and then they got beef with those people so now we got beef with them so they want to talk about us so now we talking about them it's it's just from him stemming in like you want to get lit this Sugar Hill I promise every everybody who who own it's cuz of that man down block man he set the foundation like yo we could we can do this like so when aijah passed this was a tree that we learned that he adopted when he was youngest he named it John Cena um in the beginning they had a whole like Photo and a poem and long story short we started to take care of the tree and care for her we bought a bunch of plants it was a tomato tree here yeah I had to pull it up because it died um wi it came but people were stealing the tomatoes but I was like you know what that's just Elijah Spirit giv back to everybody per usual he wasn't afraid to like let his friend shine he loved that like he'd be like yeah like every time I talk to him he' be like no like I want all my friends Tov like we need to take over this [ __ ] that was his attitude about it it wasn't like oh like me versus this person versus this person he's looking at it like oh no I want all my [ __ ] to win so he's very inspiring at a young age so that's why like I look at him and I just be like you know he taught all of us a lot like I think about him all the time I think about the fake people he met the the real people he met like just life type [ __ ] or like the life he the short life he had but it was a big one he was really going to be a millionaire in his 20s besides cooking the food he cooked up music let everybody eat yeah but now everybody eating y cuz of him thank you guys so much for having me rest in peace eat our baby and his legacy will definitely live on yes thank you for coming up here too it came a long way so we appreciate you thank you thank you all so much I really appreciate it cook his ass like potatoes I get [ __ ] I don't got a SN he's R in the face tomato [ __ ] moving like Playdoh you can't be a real [ __ ] moving like a fake HO big ass with Draco smoke man [ __ ] like I'm they got to do it if I say so I'm clear and I'm out like dro
