well look who it is it's ad hey guys come on in welcome to our crib well you are in our brownstone we're in Harlem New York represent we've been here for six years six years yeah you know more about the actual building so building was built late 1800s and he used to be a bunch of different things including a speakeasy for mill workers I was a or music school for girls it was a bed-and-breakfast at one point and and this whole thing was all one floor we actually put in these columns but this is all original molding all original woodwork not usually decked out with giant trees in it yeah where did we teamed up with balsam Hill this year though they helped us they helped us put decorations up for you know because this is not a small tree we've got a brownstone in in New York with with really tall ceilings right and so ergo a small sized tree just looked puny so we tried a live tree once and that was good but lots of dead leaves yeah needles needles everywhere he goes everywhere this is a big apothecary cabinet oh and so when people uh people right you know when they leave they leave they say so I know this book you know thanks for having us Charlie sir on Charlie and uh and you can pick a drawer there's great prizes there's like a so good prize like a game show the game show yeah so you just pick around and draw it inside a box Oh Google what yeah look at that I want to try a drawer aim five fifty dollars at AMC look at that what am I good Panera Bread this is a joke biscuit with a worm what a heinessen oh you don't get anything wrong this is a player piano C Yamaha and it is robotic kind of so you can push buttons and then it plays itself we could have it live stream from like Elton playing in Vegas yeah we can actually Alton cumin and Roxanna sit and listen to a piano concerto or something and you can see the actual keys as they're being actually pressed by the actual accounts pretty cool rerun [Music] we have Contemporary Art SCID artist named Tom will do Kui love yes this knife is made entirely of clay molding clay not painted but actually the actual colors of the clay and then if you look at the bottom his reflection he painted the self-portrait as well oh this is cool this is a people piece of art it's by a artist named Patrick Jacobs and if you look inside it's like to be dimensional it's essentially what is it like a landscape no the little box is like box no diorama yeah oh that one it's like a diorama school this is a parlor parlor bar we started collecting I like to do taxidermy I take classes in taxidermy I haven't done these but we started collecting old vintage none of these have been game shot but these are old altered in the century monkeys and so we started calling this the monkey bar because there's several monkeys around and we thought that was kind of fun right so we like monkeys and it's a play on word because um because monkey bars is actually a like that's the thing that you can do when you're a kid in I just got that so I'll show you around this is cool look at this oh yeah this is this is a Christmas gift that Neil got me years ago but it's a flipbook another little magic trick buh buh and then they reset Punk I had to film it on the sly very cool well getting those children to do that this way we just recently got this was David's anniversary gift for me for our wedding because it's the the year's wood huh but actually it's like a wooden box and this is an old phonograph mark fireside phonograph it actually plays listen to it oh yeah put on some put on some tunes all right I think I will [Music] this is Kanye anyway I love his new album was it jay-z okay now it's gonna be a really that one you can illustrate great TV there this is cool this is my friend Paulie the kids named her I uh I got I was asked to host an animatronic award show and this is what they gave me in exchange for of a salary it now right Paulie positively are you glad to have Architectural Digest here oh are you glad to have David here yes are you Joe exactly how dare you your age is going back on Bing policies fast enough we feed you nothing nothing and we put you in a cage let the Caged Bird sing comedy comedy mama for you so this bar wasn't part of the house but our our architects found it in a warehouse and it used to be a part of a hotel and Utica so we took it both pieces and we decided to put a whole proper bar in our houses there's there's white wine on tap there's rose' on tap sometimes you'll find me sad and crying and laying like Homer Simpson on the bar just it's true yeah it's true and I have to carry him upstairs put his slippers on oh this is cool Oh see yeah this is uh oh yeah turn that on Wow we're not prepared at all uh so this is uh this this whole wall as you can see as you're going up is all our family walls so really important pictures from our wedding this is a Lego piece of an artist one side is giving in and the other side is Harper so it's a dual piece amazing paper artist that I commissioned to have so that's David and myself magic style with our kids and then you can see in the Stars it's a rabbit it's all coming out of the Hat pieces of paper there's pictures of us as little kids pictures of our parents wedding these are two Jill Greenberg's of our kids there's photos we have pictures of our dogs all of our Halloween photos that we like to take this is an amazing artist his name is Nicolas Sanchez I got them for David for what Valentine's that was my birthday those birds thank you the whole thing is ballpoint pen and you should watch this close-up you can see right now every tiny little mark if that's all ballpoint pen and now wide shot I mean so that's pretty cool pictures our wedding these are Johnson's Sini's that we were we wanted an auction for Project Angel Food we sat we have a lot of pictures of ourselves [Music] so this is sort of that where we celebrate Christmas we open up our presents in the morning and Balsam hell has done a nice cheery version of a kids tree we have a lot of the kids ornaments that they made themselves and it's true so downstairs that's sort of the the the the fancy tree and I say that with contempt because he only allows gold colored silver silver colored or white don't don't come into this house and try and put out green ornament on that tree what happened not happening I learned that the hard way so this is the family tree yeah and this is like this is the tree that we that sort of explains more of us and a family the ones that we've collected look this is merry holidays from Debbie Dan Jennifer and David this was in 1984 that's old 2015 a lot of Haunted Mansion from the from the 1982 there's a picture of you as a child this is where the kids opened their stockings in the morning where Santa comes and brings all their presents every morning no maybe just Christmas morning yeah oh you just get call yeah this is my favorite piece of art that we've ever owned it's from Disney's Haunted Mansion it does any world I think it's one of the stretching portraits right if you've been to Disney you've seen it starts like this and then is this haunted room actually stretching or is it your imagination mm-hmm and and I will and I want it at auction and it's my prized possession and it's and no one no one is allowed to go within three feet in fact I put a stanchion up to just keep the kids from touching it and there's laser beams and things to that's not true well yeah this is where we spend most of our time the kids like to read their books or play their iPads in the weekends and some more art this is that this is a artist named Michael Scoggins who does do these American family portraits and we got this done a long time ago and this is a bunch of staged nutcrackers I just
