Inside a $9 Million Dollar Tuscan Mansion in Palos Verdes California

[Music] [Music] what's up everybody is Ennis here welcome to another episode this week we're in Palos Verdes California polis where this is a sub region of Los Angeles it's about 45 minutes from Beverly Hills and only 30 minute drive from downtown LA home behind me is located on 1816 Paseo Del Mar it has six bedrooms nine baths 7800 square feet and it is listed for eight million nine hundred forty nine thousand dollars let's go take a look and before we get started I want to take the listing agent Gerard the Cigna know for allowing us to tour is amazing listing so you have beautiful landscaping up front and this walkway right here brings you up to the motor court which actually has a really really cool concrete diamond pattern right here and a motor court not only takes you up to the front of the home it also continues to your gated three-car garage parking and as we look at the rest of the home right here we have a tuscany architecture on the outside beautiful column and stucco work and these arched french doors right here on the each side and from the outside you guys can see the red tile roof with these wrought iron railings on the second floor balconies and lastly we have this arched entrance right here with the columns on the each side that leading up to this beautiful wrought iron on tour now let's go take a look inside so we just walk into the property and this entry right here really sets the tone for the rest of the home what I mean first of all this double staircase that is perfectly curved into the wall with this wrought iron railing throughout but just really brings a sophisticated touch and I want to look at the ceiling here and then show you guys this hand-painted ceiling where the 600-pound chandelier that really sets the tone for the rest of the room and as I look at the final details all the walls have wainscoting with these beautiful wall sconces and lastly the floors are natural stone here at the entry and as we float to the rest of the home we're gonna see a lot of hardwood floors we're going to start with the office right here then go to the bedroom then check out the two living rooms and the two dining rooms that this home has and lastly on this floor we're gonna take a look at the kitchen and this home has an incredible kitchen it really is a good one so stick around [Music] conveniently located right off the entrance there is an office right here can actually turn into a bedroom as well but it's a great space these beautiful curved French doors looks outside you have the built-ins right here that kind of matches your kitchen style a little bit too Green's coatings on the wall and lastly coffered ceiling with this beautiful brass light fixture right here just an amazing space as an office and of course a good office comes with its own bathroom and that's right here even the office bathroom has inlay marble floors really really nice vanity setup right here with these ordinay fixtures marble countertops rats light fixtures and lastly right behind Mikey we have a full marble shower actually the marble wall also continues all the way into the back wall of the toilet as well just look at even though these are mosaic how much work went into you know filling all the grout lines here and making sure this installation was great just an incredible space as we go through this bathroom right here on the right hand side we have an additional bedroom so let's go check it out front facing with its own patio and right here it has its own bathroom marble floors and actually marble shower throughout as well nice and clean with this event and marble vanity just tying the rest of the space and now let's go back to the hallway there's actually a cool detail right here this door opens up to your elevator that takes you up to the second floor and now let's go take a look at the living room area [Music] so that's the bathroom in the bedroom that we just toured and we're on this hallway and on the left-hand side of me we have the living room but before we tour the living room I want to take you guys to this room right here so it's the movie theater it's nicely done beautiful carpet on the floors leans coding and the padding's are on the walls for better sound insulation here of course built-in speakers just very very elegant light fixtures on the walls really creating that movie theater effect just overall the great space and lastly I really like these blackout curtains right now we have it open but when you want to watch movie you can simply close it and get the full effect that you want now let's go back to the hallway so I can show you guys the living room back on the hallway and this side goes to the living room but I want to mention before we go there there's actually a two-car garage right here and next to it there's actually an additional garage as well but we will tour that as we tour the backyard so now let's talk about this living room this is the formal living room area you get a little bit of an exposure from the second floor's landing up above us two beautiful light fixtures really setting the tone for this entire area your beautiful wood burning marble fireplace and can we just look around all the details around the mantel around the marble work on the fireplace it goes all the way up to the ceiling all the walls have wainscoting again this house is all about molding detail just you know old ordinary finishes even the columns right right here are perfectly wrapped and every single nail hole hasn't been filled attention to detail is bar none in this house and there's really something to be said for high ceilings and how much space it kind of it kind of provides it feels like an absolutely massive room I agree I agree it feels very open and it's kind of connected to the rest of the house which is really really nice you can get to the bedrooms and the kitchen very easily here and right behind Mikey we have these pocketing glass doors that pockets all the way into the wall so you can get that indoor/outdoor feel and actually right above that there's a more additional windows again it's all about bringing as much as natural light as possible and right in the center between the two living rooms right here there's actually a really really nice bar setup here great seating it also has a very very cool this linear sink design right here which I thought was really really cool and I like the location of this again it's between the formal and in your secondary living room area on this side of the living room this is the one right off the kitchen so it's a little bit more cozier but again still gets a fireplace this beautiful light fixture right on the center of this room just bringing all the attention again we have accordion doors here as well pockets all the way to the wall you get that indoor/outdoor feel this living room actually opens up to your gazebo area as well and lastly of course you have the crown moldings on the ceiling your built-in speakers and your recessed lights to really tie in the rest of the space so located between the both two living rooms nicely centered there's this wine cellar right here let me go in its temperature controlled it's great space I want to say somewhere about 150 to 200 bottles of wine right here good use of space suit and this hallway right here has a powder room as well beautiful vanity I love the wallpaper right here brass light fixtures and brass fixtures as well all the way to your handles and this inlaid marble floor right here that even has a brass touches which I thought was really really cool and now let's go toward the kitchen and the dining room area [Music] on this side we have a nice little dining room area off of the secondary living room good space you have your chandelier right above your dining room table I feel like this is the this is the dining room area that's gonna get used kind of the most because it's so conveniently off of the kitchen and the living room area and now we're gonna talk about this kitchen area right here it's actually very very open spacious there's actually a lot of windows around it's a really comfortable space I can tell and I want to talk you know couple details here and there but I want to start off with this island right here first of all they did a two-tone cabinetry here which is very very nice great only island white on the base in the upper cabinetry not only this island serves as a bar seating there's actually additional storage here and one of the sinks is right here as I go that way I can stop would mention these marble countertops and the marble backsplash right here these ornate finishes are these chrome handles and as I go that way this is one of the details that I like the most not only have the Wolfe Gaston right here they kind of inserted this specific space where did Stowe have your popular and a different backsplash and here your hood vent is actually clad it with the same cabinetry which I thought was a really really cool detail and on this island right here like I mentioned there's one of the kitchen sinks there's three sinks on this kitchen alone and one of the dishwashers is right here as I go that way I have we have the additional sink right here looking towards the front of the home and all these glass windows are bringing so much natural light I always thought having your sink right in front of the kitchen window is a great touch it kind of opens up the space and you have your microwave built in right here and these things are cast-iron actually that's again goes into the ordinary finishes with these chrome fixtures right here just overall a great space right behind Mikie we have a door that opens up to the formal dining room area and we're gonna get there in a minute and again your bar seating I really like these chrome pendant lights that are perfectly situated right on top of the island they just look very exquisite and as we pan up to the ceiling we have the coffered ceilings with recessed lights and built-in speakers to really tie in the rest of the space same hardwood floors that are in the living room are also here and lastly this commercial grade sub-zero fridge you clearly have more than enough space right here additional cabinetry above it and then we have a door right here which opens up to your pantry and here's the cool part not only is paint it's actually a very very nice space the same countertop and the backsplash design continues with the same cabinetry you have your fourth sink right here and you may ask why you have a sink in your pantry because this pantry opens up to your formal dining room area so it's almost like a little service area that's right and we have a good sized dining room table right here these curved French doors opens up to the front yard and great space I really really like this molding finish on the wall with the wallpaper inserted in and of course I gotta mention this light fixture right above the dining room table kind of just tying everything up I don't know if y'all can see this from the video but it looks like a bunch of glass prism surrounded by light so when you look directly at it's actually like a rainbow of that that's right good good catch right there it is really cool and lastly I know I mentioned this door right here this again opens straight up to your kitchen for convenience if you want to bring food or service people here they're very easy and that's pretty much it for the kitchen and the dining room areas now I want to go back to the entrance of the home so we can go upstairs and take a look at all the bedrooms I am going up to the second floor through this curved double staircase and as I come to the landing you kind of get a better look of the chandelier and then painted ceiling detail right here just an amazing space overall and this landing right here is actually very very open you can look down to your formal livingroom area and on this side we have the master bedroom and on here we have three bedrooms and your gym area so we're gonna start right here and here's another part I want to mention a lot of times in these big homes it feels like every bedroom is the same not in this house not only every single bathroom is different every room kind of has its own perspective so let's go take a look and before we go to the bedrooms there's actually the elevator right here this is the landing for the second floor and as I go this way this is the first bedroom that we're gonna see that is front facing so it actually gets ocean view right here which is very very incredible this bedroom has its own balcony as well so let me take you guys out real quick and this balcony right here also opens up to the other bedroom so they both can chair and enjoy this beautiful view right here and now let's go back into the bedroom so we can take a look at the bathroom and right here we have a very very clean design marble inlay floors your white vanity with a marble countertop and as I go to this side we have a really nice shower again with the marble tile and this really really cool flower mosaic marble design tile on the wall right there just a very sleek clean design shower right there so now let's go back to the hallway so we can take a look at the bedroom right next door kind of the same size your closet space right here the same balcony this bedroom also opens up and you again get a little bit of that ocean view and if you go this way clean design elements continue and marble floors and look at even the moldings are marble tiles which I thought was a really really cool detail I know you're not a big fan of moldings in general but on a house like this it feels perfectly suited for the house right I couldn't agree more it blends in perfect with the house that's for sure and if we come this way we have the walk-in shower again the same marble tile on the wall inlay on the floor and this one has a really really nice flat bench with this mosaic tile design on the back just overall very very clean again chrome fixtures just that ornate touches and that was it for the second bedroom on this floor now we're gonna go back to the hallway there's one more bedroom on this side of the house which we're gonna check out the next so we're back on the hallway and we take right here this bedroom right here is little bit more spacious has a little bit more closet it's almost like your kids bedroom there's actually a double beds here ceiling detail crown moldings your recessed lights built-in speakers this one has a little bit of a different tile and wall design you have the hexagon marble tiles your marble countertop but you have the glazed kind of subway looking tiles on the wall and on this one instead of a walk-in shower they did a tough finish to kind of change up the scene a little bit and now we're gonna go back to the hallway and check out the most important bedroom in this house and that's the master bedroom so we're back at the landing the left wing upstairs of this home is the master bedroom you're greeted by these two double doors so as we go in on the right hand side we have the closet so let's go in there and I don't know if I should say closet or another room because this closet is spacious just be fine I know there's so much hangar space and these doors with the glass insert right here my favorite part are these islands perfectly situated there are two of them and right above them are these really really cool light fixtures here again this is where you put your underwear your watches your jewelry all that stuff and just a lot of a lot of hanging space okay if I had a closet like this I'd be ashamed of the clothes I I know like you got a kind of one up too but again we're in palace where it is if you want an annually in dollar home most like we have a lot of clothes to hang but overall a great space very convenient right next to the master bedroom and as we go to this space I mean there's a lot to talk about here but I'm just gonna be quiet for a second so people can really take it in this space right here first of all bed is perfectly situated for two reasons number one it captures the ocean view because this is a front-facing bedroom number two right in front of this gas fireplace beautifully clotted with marble and then your woodwork mental around it and TV right on top of it that's a perfect design right there second thing is this light fixture perfectly situated again kind of bringing so much attention to the room it's not a prism effect issue so it has it gives that rainbow rainbow kind of feeling right and this bedroom has a lot of windows brings a lot of natural light in all the walls have wainscoting and I like this right here not only this bedroom has a balcony it has these accordion doors and let me show you guys how we open these we turn these up and you push them out a little bit you push it out of here too and it's pretty much folds in we see a lot of doors that look really nice but are actually cheaply built and you can tell by how easily and it's just did that these are nice too and let me give you a little bit more reference to that what you just said accordion doors tend to get stuck much easier as well and they're much more harder to install perfectly this one was the easiest I've ever opened I mean I literally just barely pushed it but you have a beautiful balcony here this is also a great space you can't leave it open also since you have the balcony it's kind of keeping your bedroom private yeah knife light fixtures here some of your column design that we talked on the outside you can actually see it here but most importantly polish where this ocean it's just incredible so you need that's all you need that's right so last part of this master bedroom right here is the master bathroom when I talked with the developer of this property I've asked him I was like this these floors not only look incredible this must have been a big job to get him installed and first thing he said it was very very expensive so I get it because every single inlay piece of marble that you see was Handley this is not some sort of a mosaic finish which is incredible because it's perfectly installed I don't get any humps or anything like that and it looks like you want three different kinds of marble in each one right yes it's three different types of marble and also if you look Mikey they also change the inserts too so it kind of has a different staggered effect a chequered kind of design also exactly just very vey exquisite very tastefully done so own right behind Mikey and right here we have double that we have single vanities that are you know separate from each other and we have a free-standing tub right here with this gorgeous looking floor mount tough color what I really like about this master bathroom design is a lot of times shower and freestanding tub tends to be pushed to each side to kind of maximize the space but instead they centered the walk-in shower and the freestanding tub right in the center of the room it really gives it a good dimension and it just makes it much easier to walk around on the east side of the shower overall I think it looks better and let's go into this walk-in shower we have these beautiful stone on the wall perfectly book match marble hexagon tiles on the floor your rain head your body sprays but again this is more of a little bit of a classy style home so we have old Crompton shoes throughout yeah should our space we got set up right here a little bit more cabinetry and that's kind of it for the master bathroom and there's one more room left on this floor right here it currently stays as a gym we're gonna go check that out after that we're gonna go straight down to the backyard and back to the hallway I want to talk a little bit about this backyard we're about to see unless you're spending over 20 million dollars in Beverly Hills you're not getting a backyard like this house has you're just very spacious has pool has gazebo and before we go down there there's one more bedroom right here but on my right-hand side we have the utility room for your washer and dryer and I really like the cement tile floors that they used and this is also a bedroom but currently States as a gym because it actually goes straight to the backyard as well and this is the bedroom it has its own bathroom as well pretty much the same inlay marble design marble countertops and again marble shower just overall beautiful I like how all the tile in the shower is different like this is like a fishtail design they have the flower design kind of like a mosaic design on the other one I agree I agree it's all about giving each bedroom a little bit of character labor of differentiation right that pretty much wraps up the second floor now let's take these stairs so we can go take a look at the backyard [Music] you [Music] so I'm just coming down from the second floor straight into the backyard this is a concrete kind of like a landing pad patio area off of the formal living room you have a gas fireplace right here you can come you know kind of see some of the exterior finishes of the home here to the stucco the red roof tiles and all that and right here off of the secondary living room we have a gazebo area right here with a beautiful wood ceiling detail this amazing outdoor light fixture and again another gas fireplace this is also a great area because you can leave these doors open even during the rain since we have a roof right here just a great space and we already have two dining rooms in the house but this is almost like having a third little dining area I agree I agree that would be a good idea too you know and this gas fireplace really complements it and lastly I want to mention these natural stone floors really goes with this style of the home and as I go back this way right here concrete pad kind of takes us to this side of the house which we're getting closer to the pool and just observing the screen area right here it's a beautiful private yard right here and as I go this way on this side we have the two-car garage right here again that door opens up to the house and this door opens up to your back yard it's actually nice and very very good space a lot of times garages in LA tend to be short not this one so if you have a long cars you sure can park and if you go this way on the right hand side we have an additional one car garage right here for those people we were bummed about only having a two-car garage you can put your guy exactly by itself with that driveway up front you can park a lot of cars here you know and back into the hallway again here there's one last full bathroom right here kind of like of your pool bathroom so to speak you have your vanity your walk-in shower and cool little wallpaper right there so let's go back out to the backyard and really keep talking about that because there's so many things to really cover here and back to this concrete walkway here and we have a really really cool barbecue area but its own sink at its own gas BBQ right here just great use of space too and then back to the walkway now we're at the pool but before I talk about the pool I love how they tucked away all the pulley come in there nicely and kind of blended into the architecture of this home which is very very nice on the right hand side we have the driveway leading up to the garages and now let's talk about this pole I love the coping design and the simple plaster they did it really blends in with the rest of the home here it's actually a really really good sized pool too and I like that they've you really utilize the land by kind of digging in and making it flat and pushing using these retaining walls to really push the dirt back out so you can really get the best out of your backyard because let's admit it's a great space there's so much grass area pool area and all that and lastly I want to talk about this gazebo space right here first of all I love this wood detail ceiling right here looks so exquisite so good the outdoor light fixture here gas fireplace the same natural stone floors are also here and as we're touring this right here you really get a good look of the home exterior again the red tile roof design copper gutters and the beautiful stucco finish with all the details and the black windows and the pocket doors just overall a great home and an architecture here I don't think we've seen a house this price with a yard this size also it's pretty pretty well I couldn't agree and again you're literally minutes away from ocean and it's just really great space to be here it's super super private and
