INSIDE $14,000,000 MANSION IN THE MOUNTAINS Park City, UT

hello my name is Mark Rhoda haver I'm a broker here in Park City at Berkshire Hathaway Utah properties today we are in the colony which is on the canyons village side of Park City Mountain we're standing here at 217 white pine Canyon Road so everything in the colony is based on white pine Canyon Road depending on the number of the lot 217 is six bedrooms nine bathrooms a little over 12,000 square feet it's currently not on the market but it was priced at fourteen million dollars it's a design by Mike up wall architects here in Park City so you may or may not know Michael uh Paul he's the architect here in Park City and his design features are always curvilinear sometimes that's just the stairs sometimes that's just part of the exterior the rear of the house with the glass but this home is curvilinear almost all the way around let's go take a look interesting thing is you enter into this house is you do have in the summertime you've got this Creek that runs under the glass sky bridge into the master bath I love that design and as you're walking across you're looking up into the ski resort before yay so once you enter into this house it captures you right away and that's kind of what Michael wants to do Michael will tell you when you've entered into the house where's the drama this drama is this living room the for yay into this living room with the kitchen let's go take a look at that chef's kitchen you know you hear that all the time but this truly is a chef's kitchen let me show you why I love this so you've got the prepping area here you've got a 48 inch wolf range with a double oven you've got a prep area here large island prep area you've got a dishwasher here you got a dishwasher there you have another prep area there which also has your breakfast bar which you can in theory probably seat 10 people there because the right seats in and then you come over here and you've got a 60 inch refrigerator you got the refrigerator you've got the freezer and you have a 90 bottle sub-zero white wines on the top you can do your red wines on the bottom and you could set the temperatures in between each one and then what I really like is this Butler pantry over here so the butler pantry is almost like a true kitchen itself a double wolf oven back here there's two up there you have four ovens so if you've got enough people over here to think that man you've got enough to cook for them so you've got the two dishwashers in here but then let's go out and look at the dining room area and a breakfast nook and the little seating area I wouldn't call it little off next to the kitchen here so as your guests are hanging out or your family you are sitting here fireside you're looking at the peaks here you're looking at the ski resorts and then you in theory could probably see 12 to 15 people in here if you change this table out I mean what a better place to have dinner with your family and friends this little area when you get up in the morning and you're hanging out with your kids they're either at the breakfast bar top here or at the breakfast nook or they're over here hanging out lounging watching Netflix next to the fireplace here right there is your morning ski report the panoramic deck which is 80 feet long is one of my favorite details of this home when your whether it's summer or winter and you're out here you're taking in all the pigs the colonies all the way over to here you can see Murdoch teak you can see the top of dreamcatcher there you can see 9990 you're overlooking the lawns here again this is four and a half acres your ski and ski out access is right here we'll talk a little bit more about that shortly Quicksilver or gondola over to the Park City side is right over here about two hundred yards and dreamcatcher lift is down about two hundred yards you're right in the middle of the ski resort first tracks so let's quickly talk about the office as you're walking to the master this is kind of set up two different ways you can leave it open that's way Michael up all left it or you can put glass in right here so it's still open but it deletes quiet let's go into the master so now we are on the glass sky bridge as I call this you're looking out here you can see who's arrived under the property you've got the creek running underneath into the pond and then you have the 12-person infinity saltwater hot tubs which is in the same but here let's look at the master so walking into the master look at this 14-foot ceiling glass looking at the pigs what better place to wake up in the morning commuters to report get your fireplace their TV here this brings you into the master bath which is insane this is an infinity tub you sit in the tub and you feel like you're floating you get the his on her vanity areas you've got the steam shower the steam shower is large enough for probably five or six people look at the closet so here's our closets you do walk through that from the master bath you're walking in here you have big puffy clothes for ski clothes and this is over the top for all your sweaters winter summer fall whatever you need you enough room for it all just outside the master bedroom door as you go down into your yoga studio or workout center so to save space the architect my cup wall who likes curvilinear put these curved stairs in to drop you down to this space great idea a great use of space so winter down in this space you'll see you did large your ceiling and I'm fit ceiling down here you are looking out on the pond and a hot tub you can slide these doors open if you want to let the breeze in in the summer you could do Pilates down here you put the stationary bikes peloton at the end of your workout once you've taken in this view and if you feel like it you can jump in the shower right here if there's a shower right there there's a full bathroom here you can also just go jump right into the hot tub whatever you decide all right so here we are talking about the signature pieces that the designer puts into his architectural design my cup wall it's almost always in the stairs and you'll see that these stairs display true my cup wall fashion so when you get down here I mean you imagine watching the Super Bowl here you've got a wine bar a refrigerator here or microwave here and this is control for all your bottles of wine several hundred bottles can be stored in that wine this area is great to sit around the fireplace again you've got a TV here so if you're watching a sporting event here it's the rest of the family boyfriend's might be watching a movie right here now it is designed if you wanted to put some type of curtain system in here but it has been left open for this design some people like this left open so it flows together but it's fantastic let's go look at the schemer so ski prep room this is the outfitters lounge everybody gets their own ski Locker so morning you're gonna come down you already know what your ski report is you're gonna grab your jackets your boots your gloves your helmet your goggles and you're gonna get ready right here and then you're going to grab your skis your skis are probably going to be in here but they're gonna be sitting out here stuffed in the snow which will be about four feet in winter and then you're gonna ski out that way take a right onto gold and spruce you can go down to dreamcatcher you can ski the whole canyons village side and if you really want to get over the park city side cause some people like to ski that side as well is you're gonna go right over here to Quicksilver get on the Quicksilver gondola and it's gonna take you right over miners camp another nice feature at the end of the ski day when the rest of the family is not working out or hanging out over in the yoga room underneath the master you come over here you have your spa you've got another steam room back here you have a full bath really a lounging area a relaxation area before you have your pair teeth upstairs on the belt so now we're gonna walk down to the guest bedrooms that are in the house again this home has six bedrooms but as you're walking down you're seeing the curves you've got a guest bedroom here and as you come down the curve you're looking out you're getting the sunlight the drive is right here you've got a guest bedroom here looking out onto the lawn and then you have what every family likes is the massive bunk room kids would love to hang out here they've got a play station set up to where you can play the games here and then you've got your bathroom there so just outside of the living area downstairs is you have the guest suite one or the secondary master whatever you want to call it it's over the top I mean what guests wouldn't want to stay here you've got your TV you've got your fireplace you've got 20 feet of glass overlooking the ski resort overlooking the Infinity hot tub overlooking the pool what better lay place to hang out and just relax let's go outside and take a look at the hot tub so now we're outside this is a saltwater infinity hot tub large enough for twelve or fourteen probably eighteen kids there is a top that you hit about in the top comes over to protect it from kids falling in when nobody's watching you do have the creek that's running around into the pond you can see the last skybridge air into really the master suite and the yoga room is almost a house upon itself in a sanctuary up here in the colony curvilinear or natural shapes I know I keep saying that but that's what I love about this house let's go and see how you enter as an owner so one thing we'll talk about quickly as we're walking down this hall we're up on the main floor yes this is the secondary master a guest suite depends on which floor you want to be on but any look at the view that you get to wake up in the morning more glass more bringing the outside in that's what this home is all about you'll see that throughout this studio that's why I love this house so in this bathroom it's very similar to the master where you do have this infinity tub you're looking out over the lawn or the snow in the winter what a greater place to wake up in the morning as a guest at this home and feeling inspired looking at 9990 getting ready to go out for a hike or mountain bike ride this place has it all so now you have the laundry room huge laundry room when you come in off of the master this is your mudroom so you come in you've got your mudroom you've got all these custom cabinetry to keep your jackets when you're just going into town and not going on the mountain you never know what you're gonna wear during the day but then you have this massive garage it looks like a three-car garage but it'll probably fit four or five cars depending on the size of the two cars that you drive so the nice thing about this is when you're coming in or when you're leaving you're driving through the roundabout into your garage or out of your garage so now the other interesting thing about this with parking for five vehicles in here this house probably can park 25 or 30 cars and you're entertaining you do not have a shortage of
