INSANELY SPACIOUS with the Slide Out Room In! Forester 3011DS

hey everyone i'm matt welcome back to another video today i am super excited we are taking a look at one of the best designed classy motorhomes that we have ever had on the show and this is a new motorhome that you guys haven't seen yet on the program this is a 2022 forest river forester classic model 3011ds we are going to take a look at the outside features first then the inside features then we're gonna give you three things we love about the forester and three things we dislike about it we're starting in three two one hey everyone again welcome back to another video my name is matt from matt's rv reviews it's world zone channel giving you a true unbiased review about everything when it comes to rvs and again today i'm super excited guys to be introducing a forester on the program now but before i begin we do have to say hi to andrea hey andrea how's it going it's going good we are here you guys at rv one of fort myers yes thank you so much and yes you guys first time we're doing a forest river forester i'm excited that we're bringing you new forest river products that you haven't seen yet new products doesn't matter who the manufacturer is just exciting but listen guys we're now bringing you every manufacturer of already out there and we do it all for you guys andrea let's begin model is forest river forester classic three zero one one ps the actual tip length this motorhome is 32 feet three inches now this is the forest river forester this is the sister product to the new product we showed you a couple weeks ago the sun seeker classic very s their sister products okay right up here we do have a nice fiberglass front bra okay very nice bunk over the cab and what the bra is it's a cap that actually caps over this is powered on an e450 chassis it does have the new 7.3 liter v8 it is the godzilla engine 350 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque and then look at these tires andrea that hand cook dyna pros lt225-75r16 very clean they just got you see it wet underneath they just got this motorhome all clean and nice for us and we appreciate them and rv one for doing that right here we do have the uh wind um not windows mirror yep mirrors right there and then right here on dram you can see that it does have cameras on the left side right side in reverse now this motorhome was optioned with auto leveling very nice and we do have a you know what let's put it out we're putting it out you know why we got some space yep we're gonna put it all now it's a good size too yeah very nice power awning with the led lights now unfortunately this motorhome is sold it is going to be picked up tomorrow uh so we appreciate them letting us show everybody first you know what i'm saying yes absolutely great size awning everybody just like that nice power awning with led lights now you don't have frameless windows i don't hate that in this unit because um price point not price point weight point because frameless windows are definitely heavier right here we do have outside television okay and it is on a swing arm so you can angle them in different positions and then also what porsche river does they use the equip with hellridge hull wig helper springs uh that's suede control okay right there we do got a little bit of storage okay water heater right there here we do have a little bit more storage and then right here andre is your propane tank and then here bing is all the specifications that's taken off of forest river's website thank you for adding that jen and then right here we do have power on the outside and then coming on down the side here is your potable water fill potable potable okay more storage there it's got a little compartment there too yes ma'am very nice and then more storage down here oh wow wow okay yes so we got that down there and then across and then coming around the back andrea we did find out that these are sensors for when you're backing up cool okay nice bumper action looking uh we do have a 5 000 pound hitch new no it's 7 000 wow i see a propane quick connect down there matt yes yes propane quick connect the case you want to have a girl on the outside back up camera right there integrated in the rear tail light and andre we do have a ladder to get up on the one-piece fiberglass roof let's go up there and take a look it's hot here we go now hold on here we go up here on the roof you can see it's a nice one-piece fiberglass roof not one but two air conditioning units i love that max air fan cover right there and then there is solar already on the roof all right hold on here we go now last step sorry one more great and you haven't already guys make sure you guys smash that thumbs up button and subscribe to the channel little rv salesman's taking his fat ass up on the roof showing you what features the roof has to offer nobody nobody especially not when it's hot yeah it's still getting a little hot here it's october right over here andrea you can see the other side of that storage there's your furion power cord there's also light in the storage bay okay right here 30 amp unit okay so what that means is with the two ac units it's two 11k air conditioning units with an energy management system right over here is your outdoor shower city water connection black tank flush storage your dumps everything and then right here gasoline fuel and look i love how they added this the bip um bilstein shocks making this a really nice riding class c motorhome oh good more storage you know why because you can never have enough that's right more storage yes and then this andrea is an onan 4000 generator well andrea the outside of forester looks great but the inside looks even better let's go take a look all right matt get the cargo 1597. okay all right guys take a look here we go slide is in wow slide is in look at that oh i have no trouble at all look at that okay here is the bathroom and the master bedroom which you can see you can still use the bed with the slide in look how spacious it is very nice wow it just opened it up but it was already big enough in here great now now that slide outs are open you can see how incredibly spacious it is in here andrea we're going to start with the cockpit area can you close that door for us we want to keep this cool air in hey andre isn't fort myers hotter than tampa it is it i gotta say it is like a few degrees hotter which a few degrees matters it does here in florida so right here andre we're in the cockpit area power windows nice [Music] 7.3 liter v8 new steering wheel you got all your gauges there you can adjust your mirrors and everything and then right here you have your bluetooth apple carplay android auto you're also going to be able to see your cameras there left side right side and reverse side you got your cup holders and andrea dang that my book bags there it's okay can you still make it i can still make it and i can still see if it's comfortable yes it was comfortable good i like the two-tone seat colors and again it's it is just your traditional e-series cab what is different is that the seats do swivel to become part of the living area awesome which is nice yes and you don't have anything behind you so you can actually recline your chair back correct on on the passenger seat the driver's seat will have it behind it got a bunk over the cab yes ma'am holds 440 pounds okay you got your two windows up there and you know what you gotta fill it in you know why andrea because this is america america dang navit america is that that's why and look guys we've got windows on both sides so you can eat cross ventilation yep got a ladder here that's a demonstration oh yeah no a subscriber said that they wanted me to climb up yep well you have no problem climbing up ladders so oh we got headspace right up here got a cubby cups cup holders yes and then just so everybody can see when you sit up i mean this totally works for somebody smaller like me like i can't sit up all the way but you know i i gotta say it's still roomier than some of the cabs i've seen for sure for sure and it has privacy curtains on both sides there yep now matt hold on here we're going now all right it's not the easiest if you're older you're not old i'm just saying if i was older still young it wouldn't be the easiest okay and then over here in the living room area andrea we have these theater seats notice the little table that's perfect for you um i don't think it is and there's something about it that i will notify people in a little bit you gotta stay for the whole show and then oh okay power theater seats you got your cup holders here and your remote holders here and then look at that looks comfortable oh yeah oh we're going up oh man i feel like i'm at a doctor's office very nice dentist dentist's office same thing and then andrea we got the led light strip there and then show that nice cabinetry with the oh with the big windows look at these blinds oh very nice i like that and the balances you know it's just so much better than the black they're a lot better than than i've seen you know they remind me of little polka dots okay very cute nice cabinetry um i like that it's a different color you know oh look soft clothes oh interesting very nice oh i love that yes um i haven't really seen this color a lot so anytime i get to see anything new it it's exciting yes and then over here andre above the door is like a dvd player okay a little bit of storage right there soft close your tv is right here and it is going to double as like storage for the kitchen area that andre will show you in a little bit and then look at this awesome u-shaped dinette that is humongous right there we do got the storage there soft closed storage here soft closed okay oh yeah this see this is where i would sit i'd have the laptop here um very comfortable nice u-shaped dinette big enough for everybody can sit around and try and notice the cup holders in that so you can um for wire and transit and then right here we do have nice storage above we've got three cabinets right here yes ma'am well andrea do you know what time it is it's now time for the msrp and andre counter space they even gave you an extension here just in case you don't have enough yes i love that wireless charger love it keeping up with the times i like that there's a window here got a little trash chute right here hey that's a 104 trash can and shelves i skipped the doors didn't i yes all right so we got forge wars okay i really like the handles on here it's very modern yeah very nice okay so we have a cabinet up here this van and then we got a double sink wow very nice double nice double nice with an extension okay okay and let's see we've got another cabinet here okay nice i mean good storage in here yeah i mean normally when you have big counter space you don't see as many cabinets very nice we got a three burner magic chef magic chef magic chef and we got that kind of stone looking backsplash yup splash guard uh convection microwave okay good good good and another drawer nice and then we've got a magic chef compressor refrigerator yes means your inverter very nice size too yes and a pantry look at this look at that hold on would you look at that oh my goodness wow that's awesome matt would you look at that i'd like that and then right here it does have your max air fan right there and then we do have the split bathroom and i do want to show this here um i just like to point out differences that i see in rvs you can see their wallpaper kind of different and then over here not the biggest shower definitely not the smallest it definitely works it's a 24 by 36 i do much prefer the 30 by 36 but again it still does work just fine you want to step inside andrea okay over here and then as you can see that door right there yep has a magnet sticks over there nice and we got this sink and this bathroom has a vent in it so it's actually really cool in here nothing's worse than a hot bathroom exactly especially when you got a poop medicine cabinet and then oh it's neat that has a sink cover right there yes then we got more storage i mean andrea you look pretty snug there i feel snug but i also feel good like nothing's like like nothing's touching me but i def no no no i can't because of this you know andre it's not a prime position but i will say it was very very very close and for a class c it really isn't that bad okay all right guys coming into the master bedroom there is an accordion door here yes nice size bed i like that queen size it doesn't need to come up for the slide out to come in i love the huge window in the rear look at that you never see three windows that's a very nice feature and they got that crown molding up there so nice the bed area the side windows headboard and lights we've got little cubbies there and i like how these not on the other side notice how they didn't give me cabinetries it just makes it feel more open and nice because andre you don't really need more cabinetry a wardrobe there look at all this this is huge huge wardrobe space there you go big storage storage other side of the wardrobe very big and nice and then as you can see you got uh how many six drawers there yes ma'am i mean that's crazy yep uh what about under the bed i bet you we have storage let's see let's see we might we sure do not much not much but a little bit it's a good five inches yeah i mean some is better than none especially you could put sheets there if you needed to exactly exactly but overall andre is just a great class c i agree and as great as it is and as nice as it is andrea it's now time to give everybody three things we love about the forester and three things we dislike about andrea what do we do first three things we dislike about it you sure yeah i'm sure okay i have two if you have i have three i mean i have a third one you you go first okay i'll do the first one yes okay so um i don't i don't like the accordion door at all okay show us show us i mean if you have guests here or something and you know i don't know i feel like this is no privacy like if i had to use the restroom or you just don't like affordable and i'd rather have a pocket door right here yep yep so andre just doesn't like accordions never has and never will andre if you stand over there please okay here's my dislike so check this out i like these little trays okay you ready i go like this to sit down right watch what happens with this oh does it go the other way nope it doesn't pivot all you're gonna do is rub this over time oh gosh so you need to literally take it out to sit down not a big deal definitely not a deal breaker but i actually would probably just keep that out i would just take it off right um but again you know i actually really like the little trays so the fact that you can't use it practically or somebody needs to like slide in there not a fan off so that's number two and then andrea number three is out here i hate the twisty doors and i don't like how they drop down like this i am not a fan of that i prefer the sideways swinging doors and i much prefer the doors that don't have the twisties great so that's three things we don't like about it andrea now it's time for three things we love about this motorhome you ready come on down here number one i love how much storage you have here in the rear there's a lot of storage there's a lot for a class c motor from andrea this has a ton a ton of exterior storage that is definitely the number one thing i love about it number two number two number two i really like all the counter space in here and i am going to combo that with the storage yes i think the storage is great in here i i i love it i love the pantry as well so the storage in the counter space is my like perfect that's number two and then andrea america already knows what my number three is i love love love the u-shaped dinette it's big it's comfortable it drops down so people can sleep um there's seat belts in it it's spacious enough it's comfortable i love the u-shaped dinette and i'm gonna do another like because we can i love how spacious it is move that table make sure it's not going to hit my fourth like andrea is that this is the motor home with the slide out in the fact of the matter is andre is slide out's great okay it's the first thing that could go wrong and so if the slide outs break andrea this is your motor home at all times when you're driving when you're parked with your slide outs broke it's a broken slide out isn't going to ruin your vacation whereas there's a lot of motor homes out there andrea you need to have that slide out out or you can't use the bed or you can't get to the bathroom or you can't whatever so the fact that
