Coachmen Leprechaun - MAJOR CHANGES - I DONT LIKE THEM 🥺

hey everyone i'm matt welcome back to another video today i am super excited we are taking a look at a motorhome that hasn't been on the show in over a year and a half these are impossible to find and i'm so glad we're able to show you one today this is a 2022 coachman leprechaun model 319mb we are going to take a look at the outside features first and the inside features then we're going to give you three things we love about the leprechaun and three things we dislike about it we're starting in three two one hey everyone again welcome back to another review today i'm super excited to show you this leprechaun and it's been a while since we've seen one and let me tell everybody this before we begin i love coachmen and because i love coachmen when it comes to the dislikes about this motorhome i'm actually going to be a little extra critical so just a little warning ahead of time that you know this compared to the last leprechaun i've seen they have made some changes and me being so critical is almost a positive thing because it tells you how highly i speak of coachmen but it might come across as a negative way so you guys gonna have to stick around till the end to figure out what that part is but before i begin i would like to say hi to andrea hey andrea hi everybody how's it going it's going good hey guys thank you so much uh we had a good time meeting everybody at the model is coachman leprechaun 319 mb the actual tips tip length of this motorhome is 32 feet 11 inches this is a coachman leprechaun last time i did one of these this was top of the line for coachmen top top top there are some things again that we'll talk about that you know has now it's changed it changed up the leprechaun so we're gonna figure that out right up here i do love the seamless fiberglass front brawl front windshield led lights coachman when i say brawl that means this part's the front cap and the seams are right here it's not as nice as a seamless fiberglass front cap but it is better than having no front cap at all new for the leprechaun is the e450 chassis that has the 7.3 liter v8 it is the godzilla engine 350 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque and then these tires andrea them a hand cook dyna pros yes i love those they're the uh oh man lt225-75r16 with those shiny rims also there is now side cameras left side right side and reverse nice very nice right here we do have our mirrors so we can see what's going on down the coach black running board there and then you have your white cab with your cream motorhome just so everybody knows full body paint is an option when it comes to leprechauns okay also because this is the coachman they do use asdale which is a green based material that will never delaminate on you and we do have a beautiful power awning with led lights yes oh here we go with the twisties yep twisty doors right there's your propane andrea jen please ping put all the specs right there also there is a little place if you want a little solar right there and then coming on down the side here what's that a tv oh wow furry on tv soundbar bluetooth very nice you got hdmi for the outside gfi really really nice features and then here's some storage here hot water heater yes hot water heater they could have continued to decal but at least they painted the door tan which looks really good um don't worry about that wheel it's just missing the hubcaps the hubcaps do come with this motorhome propane quick connect i think man it's cold yes propane quick connect electrical outlets yes more storage here oh no what is it oh this rule outside that little oh pull it out matt oh man it's so cold i know but i want to see it's got the thing here i'm gonna pinch my fingers oh but people want to see it it's right here you have to unlock the thing where oh this yeah oh there you go look at this this is cool i'm gonna put the table out that's fine but this makes uh extend the table and you do have a nice little sink that's pumped through awesome very nice feature in andre guess what that is this is storage nope no what is it a mini fridge oh yay yeah hot point baby i wish today was a hot point don't you oh me too great coming around the back andrea we do have a nice bumper for your stinky slinky 5 000 pound hits this motorhome can tow 5 thousand pounds and then right here even though there's a little refrigerator it doesn't take oh my goodness look at that storage wow that's incredible yes backup camera right there also there is a there's a roof one piece cross flex roof let's go up there and take a look okay hold on it's very cold here we go now up here on the roof you can see it's a nice one-piece cross-flex roof not one but two air conditioning units i love that max air fan right up there there is a wine guard digital antenna and it is prepped for solar take your time last step great and if you haven't already make sure everyone smashes that thumbs up line what are the rv salesman's taking his fat ass up on the roof showing you what features the roof has to offer nobody nobody i think it's sprinkling a little bit i think it's getting cold right over here on dryer the other side of that awesome storage coachman leprechaun shower outdoor shower city water connection potable water fill potable potable unleaded fuel cable it's where you're dumping your black and gray tanks underneath there okay 30 amp service deal those are two 11k ac units okay a little bit of storage there generator generator let's see which one it is four thousand yeah but it's at yamaha or cummins yamaha no comments that's what i meant comments 4 000 and then storage okay storage on here it's freezing cold yes and the outside of this motorhome looks great but the inside looks even better and even if it doesn't look better it's freezing cold so let's go take a look okay don't forget the cargo carrying capacity okay hey guys this is awesome because the slide is in and it's so spacious in here okay so look here we go look at that slide is in 2 160 pounds that's pretty good now look i'm having no problem at all walking through here we got a split bathroom and it looks like oh a north and south bed need the slide out out the slide out isn't even that deep when it is how it gives you that much more space but you didn't even need it and that that that is something that we are going to talk about a little bit later in the video but first we're starting up the part same floor plan we took a couple years ago it sure is we've taken one of these camp in america we took one of these from maryland to florida so we know it's like right up here here's what it didn't have andrea it didn't have the new 7.3 liter v8 you could tell from the steering wheel uh let's get this baby turned on because look right here all right that comes up very nice got the carbon fiber here interesting interesting cup holders sit sent my co-captain seat andrea very nice okay could you make another trip from maryland to florida in this oh for sure absolutely and look i actually remember us taking this because you could recline that all the way back i did i reclined back and took naps yes ma'am very nice you know you got your cup holders there both seats do swivel around to become part of the living area got this awesome bunk over the cabin yes yes and let's get let's get this window there we got oh wow daytime and nighttime shades yes very nice features okay so i don't remember they must have put that window up there i don't was that there before no no no the windshields are new that's nice i like that privacy curtain here on both sides okay and we've got a nice bunk over the cab i believe it holds 500 pounds i'm not sure eight oh wow really have i ever led you astray andrea oh my goodness they are definitely trying to keep up with the competition so they have beat it in some aspects yes well as far as the bunk right okay dang dammit sweet oh and yes they have that net there too which is really nice yes so you can just put this up like this if you got little ones that way you don't worry about them falling out absolutely and andrea let me uh sit up there so people can see okay matt hold on well i'm not eight hundred pounds you're careful now going up that ladder here we go now hold on decent bunk over the cab again i cannot sit up here um we got the max air fan here the reason why so it's a flush floor up there and the seats swivel around and again i do like the cargo net and the privacy and everything pretty nice and then the kids have well you know whoever sleeps up there they have a usb right there if they need to charge stuff got a little cubby up there and then as you can see the velcro here is for the privacy curtain that goes across yes and then over here andrea very nice looking cabinetry i love the transparent doors with light on the inside do you like that um i guess not my favorite right over here again daytime shades and privacy shades this is huge for a class c right here andre is a sofa um and this does jackknife down how do you like the valances uh i guess they're okay they're a little weird they are weird i will comment on that later but how do you like the look i mean i mean we always ask your opinion uh i think it's okay because it's neutral okay you know and it's not crazy for sure and then here's the sofa you mean the jack knife so the jack knife soap yeah yes ma'am i missed the arms on it though but i i guess it does limit it when you do have arms with it you know jackknife no i mean we'll comment on that in a little okay and then directly across from the sofa here's what i do love you have a tv on a televator first look at that big window i love televators i love how stuff can come up and down it makes it super nice um and underneath you do have your sound system and then underneath that you do have a fireplace which does produce heat from electricity and a little tv huh no i mean it's 40 inch it's it's regular-sized tv is that a tower of power you just missed it is but i'm gonna let you andrea i'm gonna let you do that because that's part of the kitchen oh okay it's part of the kitchen and then over here andrea this is what i love a big u-shaped dinette cup holders there cup holders there in the cushion another drawer in andrea i love the u-shaped dinette the whole family can sit around and this also drops down to make a bed and it makes this actually makes a better bed than the sofa uh i remember when we took this camping we just left this to bed the whole time with andrea's daughters but really nice and you done it just fell off okay yes sorry guys it's okay and then we have a big sink here double sink yeah the extension and you almost uh broke the camera there andrea so watch where you're swinging that i'm defrosting still matt it is cool nice cabinet under here for a trash can yes what about these drawers oh did i miss those yes very nice this is what the cold does it kind of gets to you yes all right and then we have a little cubby up here okay good for bread and we have a convection microwave ooh very nice burner furion i believe it's furion or is it magic shop magic shop magic chef three burner propane cooktop okay very nice and an oven yes where's the light there it is and here's what else is interesting there's a refrigerator disconnect button nice it's not nice it's interesting okay so what is this a compressor or a two-way it's a compressor fridge okay runs off your inverter and your shore power yes yes all right okay over here going into the split bathroom yes we've got like a sliding door here very nice all right matt you walk oh no no no sorry let me do the toilet first look at that i do like that okay look that has a magnet up there right yes yep okay and then over here in the bathroom i'm just gonna show this because it is a little tight in here a little small look at that we got a got a cabinet under there matt does my jacket say magellan it sure does yeah magellan he was an explorer wasn't he was he yeah oh i thought that was like a made up word no i never heard that word in my life no i've heard the word magellan porcelain well that's a good job porcelain i mean it's tight you look very uncomfortable but doable i mean it's definitely doable andrei this is a prime poop position i mean it either it either it either it means there is it right it is or it isn't and i think they did a great job right there i like their showers yes talk to me i like their shower doors okay so great it's not a really big step up okay that's a 36 by 24. space good height yes yes i like the door look at that now andrea yes when we took this camping how many times did we take a shower in there zero what did we use that for oh uh storage litter box no no i i think where was the litter box then i can't remember but i think we left our laundry basket in there oh okay here okay and then you do have to close the store to get back into the bedroom and then as andrea mentioned matt there's a privacy carton right there yes north to south bed back here okay but wardrobe yep right here we got storage north to south bed that's how you're able to get that awesome storage but even though there's a north-south bed there is still a slide-out in here and that was this back here this was the closet slide out which is great yes for storage absolutely right here it is prep for a tv if you want that and then we got storage up here okay okay storage here got a ward another wardrobe right here a night stand usb and there's a drawer there yes so this is a queen size bed yep north south not bad at all and then nope no storage under the bed well andre everybody's dying to know what the msrp is on this motorhome and we will tell everybody but first it's now time to give them three things we love about it three things we dislike about it and andrea we are going to do three things we like about it first okay because i i am then going to give you three things we don't like so if you would like to give us all three things you like about it oh wow that's gonna be tough well i mean i'll help you okay so i do i am gonna say what i really like about it is first and foremost what the fact that the book no that holds 800 pounds um i mean yeah that's good i actually didn't like that bunk but continue on it's very spacious and the fact that they you know gave you the window as well okay i like that hey andrea that's that's yours and we can't take that's number one what's number two oh i love the u-shaped dinette yes it is my favorite dinette yup i love having all this room and having everybody gathered around just playing games and just having a good time yes so that's number two in little andrea what's number three oh probably uh the counter space yes the counter space combined with that little outside kitchen is very very nice i mean the amount of countertop space i love what they did here because again if you make this all entertainment center you have no countertop space but the fact that they made this all in one it's multi-purpose and i love that so that's three things we love about it now it's time for three things we don't like about this america and again i'm about to be very critical you guys know me that's her video reviews and i try to keep things positive and upbeat and if this was a what i'm trying to say listen larry what i'm trying to say is if i didn't criticize them this hard it means i like you does that make sense right and and they also do listen and they don't change stuff so right and when it comes to the encore that one motorhome of the year sports coach i love so in the class c market what let me just get to it in the class c market it has always been quantums leprechauns esteems right this used to be better than an odyssey and it used to compete with an esteem i actually don't even see this competing with an odyssey right now i feel like i don't know what happened with leprechaun i get what you're saying it doesn't feel like it's a luxury this feels like a freelander to me right it's not a top of the line and like like it used to be the fact that they put the daytime blinds in nighttime blinds that's an indication that it's higher end but look at the balances what the heck is that i have no idea look at the corner of the slide out yeah i don't know like what is that i look at this going on why do you need a refrigerator disconnect switch like we've seen these on the microwaves to make sure you're not running both air conditioning units in the microwave but who's ever going to return off the refrigerator like the twisty doors that's it the arms on the chairs like this does not feel like a top tier class c and that's why i'm disappointed is this motor home now here's what i will say is this a bad motor home absolutely not the person that bought this is gonna be happy absolutely you looking to buy one of these are you gonna be happy absolutely but what i'm saying is i think coachman needs to step up their game on a top-of-the-line class c and if you want to keep that leprechaun name this level fine give me a higher end classy but if you want leprechaun to be your premier class c you got to step it up i agree matt and i hope we are uh still upsell leprechauns after this video well andrea it's now time for the msrp i hope it wasn't too critical but
